건설현장의 추락재해 감소를 위한 스마트 안전장비를 활용한 USN 활용 안전관리의 적용에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Application of the Safety Management Utilizing USN Using Smart Safety Equipment to Reduce Falling Accident on Construction Sites)

  • The domestic construction industry is becoming larger, high-rise and specialized. However, safety consciousness is still staying in low levels and falling accidents are apt to rise compared to other industries. So, the new way of safety management is required for reducing of the construction falling accidents. In this paper, we evaluate appropriateness of safety management on construction sites utilizing USN using smart safery equipment. Thus, we calculate loss costs of falling accidents considering accident rates and costs of the USN using smart safery equipment installation then compare both calculated costs. This research aims to propose the method for reduction of construction accidents in addition to conventional safety control methods by analyzing the propriety of applying USN using smart safery equipment on construction sites.

  • 독일의 'Industry 4.0'의 등장으로 제조 산업에 ICT를 융합하여 생산능력을 극대화하는 스마트 팩토리 구현과 관련한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 현재의 시스템은 장비의 임베디드 시스템에 선언된 데이터를 통해 설비를 제어하는 중간 수준의 스마트 팩토리에 머무르고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트 팩토리 구현을 위해 장비의 변수 정보를 D/B화하여 장비를 제어하는 IoT 기반의 장비 제어방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 장비 내에 설치된 모든 제어장치의 변수를 서버의 D/B table에서 호출하여 변수로 사용한다. 이러한 방법을 사용할 경우 적은 네트워크 자원으로도 다수의 장비를 보다 빠르게 제어할 수 있어 공장의 효율적인 운영이 가능할 것이다.

스마트기기를 활용한 수준측량장비 개발 및 성능분석 (An Analysis of Bench Mark Accuracy through the Development of Smart Leveling Equipment)

  • 본 논문에서는 스마트 시대에 맞게 기존 수준측량 장비를 개선한 스마트 수준측량 장비를 개발하였다. 하드웨어부분과 소프트웨어 부분으로 나누어 개발하였으며, 다양한 수준측량 장비를 이용하여 수준점 결과 값에 대한 검측을 실시해 보았다. 수준측량의 검측방법은 국가기준점(UO992)-A, 수준점(15-00-06-24)-B, 수준점(15-00-06-23)-C로 선정하여 왕복수준측량을 실시하였다. 그 결과 오토레벨과 디지털레벨의 경우 오차범위 내의 안정된 결과 값을 얻을 수 있었고, 스마트 레벨의 경우 A-B구간에서 약 24mm, B-C구간에서 약 26mm가 발생되었다. 이는 하드웨어의 완성도가 부족한 부분이 있었고, 상대적으로 많은 설치횟수 등에 따른 오차가 발생된 것으로 판단된다. 또한 거리구간별 스마트레벨 수준측량을 실시해 본 결과 평균 RMSE가 약 46mm정도 발생되었다. 이 역시 짧은 구간에서는 적은 오차가 발생되었지만 거리가 멀어짐에 따라 오차가 누적됨을 알 수 있었다. 향후, 정밀도의 향상부분에 대하여 보다 심도 있는 연구를 추진하여 실생활에 사용가능하도록 향상할 수 있다면 다양한 산업분야에서 응용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

재난재해 현장의 지형인지를 위한 통합 센서 모듈 개발 (Development of an Integrated Sensor Module for Terrain Recognition at Disaster Sites)

  • A special purpose machine with two manipulators and quadruped crawler system is being developed to work at disaster sites where it is intended to quickly respond in the initial stages after the event. In this study, a terrain recognition module is developed so that the above special purpose machine can quickly obtain ground information to help choose its path while recognizing objects in its way, this is intended to enhance the remote driver's limited situational awareness. Terrain recognition modules were developed for two tasks (real-time path guidance, precision terrain measurements). The real-time path guidance analyzes terrain and obstacles while moving, while the precision terrain measurement feature provides more accurate terrain information by precisely measuring the ground in front of the vehicle while stationary. In this study, an air-cooled sensor protection module was developed so that the terrain recognition module can continue its vital tasks in the event of exposure to foreign substances, including scattered dust, mist and rainfall, as well as high temperatures.

재난 현장에서 이종 센서를 활용한 인명 탐지 기술 개발 (Development of Human Detection Technology with Heterogeneous Sensors for use at Disaster Sites)

  • Recently, a special purpose machine with two manipulators and quadruped crawler system has been developed for rapid life-saving and initial restoration work at disaster sites. This special purpose machine provides the driver with various environmental recognition functions for accurate and rapid task determination. In particular, the human detection technology assists the driver in poor working conditions such as low-light, dust, water vapor, fog, rain, etc. to prevent secondary human accidents when moving and working. In this study, a human detection module is developed to be mounted on a special purpose machine. A thermal sensor and CCD camera were used to detect victims and nearby workers in response to the difficult environmental conditions present at disaster sites. The performance of various AI-based life detection algorithm were verified and then applied to the task of detecting various objects with different postures and exposure conditions. In addition, image visibility improvement technology was applied to further improve the accuracy of human detection.

  • The C-ITS (Cooperative-intelligent Transport System) is a driver assistance system that prevents car accidents and enhances traffic conditions, via sharing traffic information between vehicles and roadway infrastructures. A CLAS (changing lane assistance system) for unprotected left-turn, is a C-ITS that assists a driver with safely changing lanes. This system addresses a driver's critical gap, that enables the system to express a driver's uncertainty. A driver's critical gap is a time that can be used in a threshold, to change a lane or not. Unfortunately, a driver's critical gap is difficult to use in a CLAS directly. This paper addresses a driver's critical gap, and how it can be applied in a CLAS for an unprotected left-turn.

  • In this study, computational multi-body dynamics and structural vibration analyses including some impact condition have been conducted for the ground flight test system of the developed smart UAV model. Designed ground test system has four degree-of-freedom motions with limited motion control mechanism. Design safety margin designs for several structural components are tested and verified considering expected critical motions (pitching and rolling) of the test smart UAV model. Computational results for various analysis conditions are practically presented in detail. Futhermore, proper design modifications of the initially designed test equipment in order to guarantee or increase structural safety have been successfully conducted in the design stage.

스마트폰의 특성이 개인의 업무성과에 미치는 영향과 혁신 저항성의 조절효과 (The Effect of Work Performance to Smart Phone's Characteristics and Moderated Effects of Innovation Resistance)

  • This study analyzed the effects of smart phone using for business on work performance in the field. We classified functional and practical aspects of smart phone affecting employee's work performance through former studies. As independent variables, we selected portability of equipment, rapidity of information and ease of use for functional side, and selected fit to work and subjective norms for practical side. And dependent variable was work performance. We also suggested that innovation resistance would be a moderator. The results showed that the effect of work performance was influenced by portability of equipment and fit to work. However, hypotheses on moderating effects of innovation resistance were not supported. This study made a discrimination in terms of an application phase of smart phone as against former studies. The results of this study will provide practical implications for related enterprises in the field to develop ways of using smart phone as an effective strategy.

A Fast-Transient Repetitive Control Strategy for Programmable Harmonic Current Source

  • The repetitive control (RC) strategy is widely used in AC power systems because of its high performance in tracking period signal and suppressing steady-state error. However, the dynamic response of RC is determined by the fundamental period delay $T_0$ existing in the internal model. In the current study, a ($nk{\pm}i$)-order harmonic RC structure is proposed to improve dynamic performance. The proposed structure has less data memory and can improve the tracking speed by n/2 times. $T_0$ proves the effectiveness of the ($nk{\pm}i$)-order RC strategy. The simulation and experiments of ($6k{\pm}1$)-order and ($4k{\pm}1$)-order RC strategy used in the voltage source inverter is conducted in this study to control the harmonic current source, which shows the validity and advantages of the proposed structure.
