한국의 지역사회는 근대화 및 세계화시대를 거치면서 중앙에의 종속성 심화와 세계자본에의 식민화 가능성 증대라는 위기의 상황에 봉착해 있다. 이러한 시대적 상황을 타개하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 일상생활과 생활공간에 있어서의 대응 전략이 요망되며, 그러한 전략 개발의 바탕이 되는것이 바로 지역정체성의 확립이다. 최근 지리학계에서 소지역, 즉 일상생활공간에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있는 것은 이러한 이유 때문이라고 할 수 있다. 하지만 소지역연구에 대한 이론적 논의들은 많이 있어 왔으나, 구체적인 소지역을 대상으로 한 경험적 연구는 그리 많지 않은데, 이는 연구를 위한 자료와 방법의 제한성과 관련이 있다고 판단된다. 지역신문은 대체로 행정구역상 군, 중소도시, 대도시의 구 단위의 소지역에서 발간되는 신문으로, 지역에 밀착된 작은 뉴스들이나 생활정보 등을 주요 기사로 다루고 있다. 따라서 지역신문은 지역정체성을 확인하고, 그 형성 메카니즘을 분석할 수 있는 귀중한 자료인 것이다. 지역신문에 관한 지리학적 관심은 우선 지역신문의 지리적 분포 현황과 그 시기별 변천을 추적, 정리하는 작업으로부터 구체화되어야 할 것이다. 또한 지역의 성격을 밝히기 위한 정보원으로써도 적극 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 그리고 지역신문을 통한 공동체 구성원들의 통합 과정과 이를 배경으로 한 지역의 중심성, 흑은 자생력의 확보 여부에 대해서도 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

One of the problems associated with the current system of land development projects implemented by the public sector in Korea is that various service facilities are not ready in time for the occupation of residential dwelling. A major cause of the problem is the lack of financial arrangements which would smooth the cash-flow of the suppliers of the facilities during the project period. In this paper we present two schemes which will contribute to the optimal provision of service facilities by easing the financial constraint facing the land developers and suppliers of the facilities. The first scheme involves channeling a fraction of profits from a land development project and of the proceeds of mandatory sales of Type II National Housing Bonds as a loan to the suppliers of the service facilities. The second scheme considers the participation of the private sector in the project as a member of a consortium comprising the Korea Land development Corporation, the National Housing Fund, and private developers. It is proved that each scheme is superior to the current system. as well as entailing a very small cost.

소프트웨어 개발 시 프로젝트 크기를 늘리는 것(scaling up)은 간단한 프로젝트를 가져다가 각 부분을 좀 더 크게 만드는 단순한 문제가 아니다. 프로젝트의 크기가 증가 할 때 의사소통도 유지되어야 하고, 비용, 생산성, 품질, 개발활동, 개발방법론 등도 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 프로젝트의 크기로 인해 개발 될 소프트웨어 프로젝트가 실패하지 않도록 하기 위한 중요 요소들의 효율적인 사용방법들에 대해서 논의한다.

소규모 단위의 프로젝트이지만 안정성과 정확성을 중요시하는 제약 시스템 개발 프로세스에 대한 제반 문제들을 보완하기 위해서 시스템 개발 위험도를 최대한 낮추고 품질을 향상시키는데 적합한 반복적 개발 방법을 기반으로 프로젝트의 복잡도, 영역 속성의 측정 결과 값에 따라 프로세스 테일러링 할 수 있도록 개발된 세계적 제약회사 Merck ＆amp; Co., Inc.의 프로세스 테일러링에 대한 표준 가이드라인을 제시한다. 실제 소규모 단위 시스템 개발에 프로세스 테일러링을 적용한 프로젝트와 적용하지 않은 프로젝트간의 성과 결과 측정을 통해 프로세스 테일러링 적용을 통한 시스템의 안전성과 정확성이 향상된 사례를 검증하고 있다.

본 연구에서는 기존의 추력측정 방법보다 간단한 추력측정 방법으로서 피토 압력을 이용한 방법을 제안하였고, 이의 검증을 위해 소형 추력측정기를 제작하였다. 추력측정기를 이용하여 모델로켓 모터 및 초음속 풍동의 추력측정을 통하여 그 가능성을 확인하였고 본 연구의 목표인 피토압력과 추력측정기를 이용한 측정 추력의 비교연구가 계획되어 있다.

Thermal cracks are among the key factors that control the quality of a brake disk. Thermal cracks may shorten the lifetime of the disc and increase brake noise. Therefore, high heat-resistant brake disk materials are needed. In this study, three kinds of disk material were tested. They are composed of C, Si, Mn, P, S, Cu, Cr, Mo, and Ni. For the three materials, tensile tests, hardness measurement, metallurgical structure analysis, image analyzer analysis, etc were carried out. And friction tests were performed by a small scale dynamometer.

We have developed the testing software for KEPCO operators to maintain the small-scale distribution automation system effectively. The testing software is used to monitor the present status, to measure the analog value(voltage, amperage) and to control the switch and FRTU(Feeder Remote Terminal Unit) in order to find out a disabled part of the system. And at the stage of inspection of the switch and FRTU, it can screen the inferior one.

A small scale centrifugal oil separator consisted of two concentric tubes was fabricated for spilt oil recovery. With speed control of the inner tube, its performance of oil separation was investigated. Oil-water mixture is separated by forced vortex motion with the rotating inner tube. Velocity and pressure distributions in the tubes were calculated. Control of rotating speed, which is the most influencing parameter, showed an optimum value 946rpm corresponding to the acceleration of 20g at the inner tube surface. Separation performance was suddenly deteriorated at rotating speed higher than 1200rpm.
