Industry 4.0 동향과 문제점에 관한 연구 - 고용문제를 중심으로 - (A Study on Trend Analysis and Issues of Industry 4.0 - Employment Issues -)

  • Based on reviewing the literature and statistical year books on current projects that are targeting Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory, this paper aims to show concepts of Industry 4.0, and Smart Factory. Also it shows 5 projects for Industry 4.0 led by governments that worry over their low employment and productivity in main industrialized countries: Germany, China, Japan, the USA, and Korea. In addition it presents some problems which are very important but easy to be overlooked, especially on employment, and it makes three suggestions to solve employment problems. First, government should tax the profit which a company makes on reducing workers in spite of a high rate of profit through technology innovation. Second, to help small businesses to last longer, government should link major companies and small companies. Third, government, academic circles and the industrial world should take part in configuring consortia like American "Industry talent Consortium" to cultivate IT Talent.

  • SomangNet is a project that started in 2020 with a network of ten 0.4 to 1.0 m telescopes owned by Korean institutes. By coordinating observations with multiple facilities around the world, we hope to maximize the usefulness of small telescopes which are still competitive for carrying out time-domain astronomy projects. In this talk, we will give an overview of the project, outlining SomangNet facilities, its organization, and current science projects. We hope to open SomangNet for common use in 2021B, and we will present our plan regarding the use of SomangNet.

  • This study focused on the fact that there are a lot of alleys in some areas of the Urban Renewal New Deal project. In this study, we proposed a method to construct a spatial module by combining small modules. It is expected that the combination of small modules developed in this way will help revitalize the New Deal of Urban Regeneration. In the future, additional joint details will be developed, structure review will be conducted.

호남광역경제권의 서남해안 풍력산업 특성 (The Characteristic of Wind Turbine Industry of the West-South Seashore of Leading Industry Development for Honam Economic Region)

  • This paper represents about the characteristics of wind turbine industry of the west-south seashore of Leading Industry Development for Honam Economic Region. These projects have 8 R&D and 3 non R&D project. The period of these projects is from October 2009 to April 2012. The R&D projects are composed three bright prospect products (1) the base construction of MW off-shore wind turbine components and system with Outer-rotor type PMSG, (2) the Development of 3MW wind power system with accommodation of the west-south seashore, and (3) the development of hybrid wind turbine system with wind base construction. Also, the non-R&D projects are composed three parts with above three bright prospect products. Above two projects support the companies with characteristic of low speed wind turbine system. Other project supports the companies related to wind turbine with small and medium capacity of form 3 kW to 10kW.

  • This paper has explored the analyzing and defining the core competencies of IT consultants who carry out IT consulting projects which desperately are needed by companies to survive in business competitions. Many companies have used IT consultants for their IT projects to achieve their project objectives. The problem of this is the results of IT projects carried out by IT consultants from the recognized consulting firms are quite often criticized by many clients who pay high price for hiring IT consultants. The purpose of this paper is that to weight of capability evaluation model for IT consultants. To define the capability model, I conducted the surveys from the IT professionals by the interview and e-mails. The result of this, this paper defines what core skills IT consultants should have to perform well when they carry out the IT projects. There are 6 major skills and 17 sub skills IT consultants should have in succeeding IT projects. 6 major skills are job competence skill, communication skill, business attitude, vocational values, job performance skill, leadership skill and related 17 sub skill are defined. With the capability evaluation model, the managers who are in the charge of incubating and enhancing the capability of IT consultants in the large corporation and also small, medium companies will utilize their companies' strength to get the advantage on the business competition.

콜하스와 레오니도프 건축의 연관성에 대한 연구 - 기술적, 사회적, 구성적 측면을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Relationship of the Architecture of Leonidov and Koolhaas - Focused on the Technological, Social and Compositional Aspects -)

  • In 1960s Russian avant-garde architects such as Moisei Ginzburg, Konstantin Melnikov and Ivan Leonidov were rediscovered in the western architectural society. In this period Rem Koolhaas investigated the projects of Ivan Leonidov with great enthusiasm. In late 1920s and early 1930s when the hope and fantasy to the social revolution and technology reached the climax, The third generation of Russian avant-garde intended to find the new synthesis of the technology, the form and the social ideology. In this context, Leonidov proposed audacious projects from the small scale to the urban scale in the influence of Malevich's suprematism, Vesnin's technological fantasy and Ginzburg's concept of "social condenser". These projects seriously affected Koolhaas. This relationship of Leonidov and Koolhaas was indicated but not investigated in concrete manner. This study intends to analyze the projects of Leonidov and to investigate the relationship of Leonidov and Koolhaas in Delirious NewYork and in the projects of Koolhaas. We will analyse this relationship in three categories : hedonistic technology, social collectivity and pure geometry.

연관 규칙 탐색 기법을 이용한 건설공사 비사망 재해의 특성 요인 분석 (Analysis of Characteristic Factors for Non-fatal Accidents in Construction Projects using Association Rule Mining)

  • Simple statistical frequency based analysis, such as Pareto analysis, are widely used in conventional accident analysis. However, due to the dynamic and complex nature of construction works, many factors can simultaneously affect or involve the occurrence of accidents in construction projects. Therefore, the identification of the complex relationship between such factors is important to establish relevant and effective safety management policies and/or programs. In this study, characteristic factors and their relationships' contribution to non-fatal accidents in construction projects are analyzed using the association rule mining (ARM) technique. To this end, a total of 59,202 construction accident data are collected from 2015 to 2019 and the ARM is performed to retrieve specific relationships -named as association rules-among classified factors in the data. Characteristics of the retrieved relationships are analyzed and compared with the results of conventional Pareto analysis. Based on the results, it is found that both fall and trip are notable accident forms having characteristic relations with other factors for non-fatal accidents in construction projects. It is also found that small-scale construction, age of 50s, less than 1 month of working period, and architectural construction are important factors for non-fatal accidents in construction projects.

  • With the development of information technology, IT-based services in public administration has become more indispensable. As a result, the importance of IT maintenance projects to improve the efficiency of IT services and secure service levels is growing. Due to the nature of IT maintenance projects on local government, which mainly involve small and medium-sized IT companies in the region, business participating companies often do not have an appropriate methodology for service quality management. To solve this situation, the government has prepared a service level agreements (SLAs) that can be applied to IT maintenance projects. However, most local governments do not use SLAs for IT maintenance projects. As a result, various problems such as failure of the IT maintenance project or deterioration of quality are occurring Thus, this paper suggested major indexes to evaluate which service factors affect the efficient operation of information systems and the improvement of service quality in IT maintenance projects of local governments and analyzed the importance of indexes based on AHP method. Using this research method, this study found the theoretical implications on the outsourcing service of IT maintenance.

  • Currently, there is insufficient research on the construction management performance since the CM system was introduced in Korea. For successful completion of construction projects, active use of construction mangers on projects is necessary by introducing construction management to the projects. In view of this, this study analyzed the annual CM performance from 1996 to 2013 but for the past 5 years from 2009 to 2013, a detailed analysis was carried out. For different sectors, CM performances were divided into public and private sectors, for project types, construction, civil and others, for project phases, pre-design, design, construction and post-construction phases, for contract types, sole and joint contract types, for project scale, the amount of the projects was taken into consideration and they were divided into large, medium and small scales and for the types of projects, they were divided into, shops, department stores, shopping centers, hospitals, government buildings, hotels, accommodation facilities, factories, buildings for workshops, office buildings, stadiums, playgrounds, schools and other construction types and all the data divided into such categories was analyzed. The results in this study can be used as a basic reference for studies in analysing construction management performances.

  • Since the concept of software engineering was first used in 1968 by NATO Science Committee, a lot of research work and improvements have been made on software development methodology and software quality control, but they still fall short of ensuring successful development of small and medium scale software systems. Under these circumstances, Center for Software Engineering (CSE) at National IT Industry Promotion Agency(NIPA) has been conducting studies on quality control methodologies of software visualization well-suited for small and medium scale software systems, and also working on the systemization and quantification of software quality control. In this paper, we attempt to scope on the software development management of domestic and foreign small and medium-sized enterprises that are lying in the blind spot, compared to large enterprises with well-organized software development systems. In particular, based on software visualization that CSE is pursuing for small and medium-sized developers, we propose a practical quality control methodology well-suited for small and medium scale projects, and a low-cost quality control management tool by combining open-source quality control tools. Our proposal is expected to induce developers' mind change in SI-specialized small and medium-sized software enterprises, increase their profits and improve customer satisfaction through project quality control.
