Recently the change of family environment has influence on the configuration of the family welfare unit at the social welfare center. And so the relation of space and function required its change. The essential role of social welfare center is family welfare, domiciliary and community care, community organization, social education etc. In this sence, this study explored the condition of space planning for the family welfare at the social welfare center. For this study, it was reviewed the role and function, the service program, the degree of unit activity importance, space satisfaction, the usage characteristics. In sum, the useful data were collected, analyzed, and synthesized through case study and could be used in the guidelines as reference information for the spatial organization of the family welfare unit at the social welfare centers in small town.

This paper describes the design and implementation of a small avionics unit based on soft CPU. A small avionics unit is developed with the soft CPU which can be wholly implemented in FPGA using logic synthesis. Design and integration of a modular architecture for versatile, reconfigurable and re-adaptable is presented with the Nios-II processor. To gain modular architecture, both at main board and sub-board level, attention has been paid to the selection of interfaces and an adequate data and power bus.

This study aimed to provide a basic data for presenting an appropriate plan of bathroom space which is suitable to our bathing behavior. We analized 1052 of small-sized apartment housing floor plans and the results were as follows. 1. Bathroom space were classified into 5 types : bath unit type, separated type, deficisncy type, over bath unit type, and semiseparated type and there was no separated type in this study. 2. The bathroom space type according to the size of housing 1) Deficiency type was the most popular one in 10-15 pyung sized housing. 2) In the size of 16-20 pyung housing, deficiency and bath unit type were popular ones. 3) Bath unit type was the most generalized one in 21-30 pyung. 4) Bath unit type and over unit type were generally equipped in 31-34 pyung housing. 3. The size of bathroom was ranged from 0.7 pyung to 2.0 pyung, and the ratio of it was 7.5- 12%.

This paper describes development of small scale voice dialing system using TMS320C30. Recognition vocabuliary is used 50 department name within university. In vocabulary below the middle scale, word unit recognition is more practice than phoneme unit or syllable unit recognition. In this paper, we performend recognition and model generation using DMS(Dynamic Multi-Section) and implemeted voice dialing system using TMS320C30. As a result of recognition, we achieved a 98% recognition rate in condition of section 22 and weight 0.6 and recognition time took 4 seconds.

Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition(SCADA) of electric power system refersto the system that displays, monitors and executes the control commands for remote electric power system. KNR's existing electric power control system is built on UNIX platform such that it costs more for system construction, and people with UNIX skills can only be an operator who controls and manages the system. Moreover, since the system is mainly operated in local offices, system operators must communicate with local operators to investigate the cause of the accident and react the accident every time the system fails. As a new integrated SCADA system is constructed, establishment of small-unit electric power control system, that alters local electric power control system in designated stations, is required. In this study, the electric power control system, which accommodates all functions of UNIX-based SCADA system and facilitates operation and even maintenance for local operators, is to be developed. In order to develop small-unit electric power control system, the industrial automation program, "Cimon", is used. The small-unit electric power control system that accommodatesRTU and newly installed electronic switchboard is being developed and tested at Chulam station of KNR.

This study focused on the fact that there are a lot of alleys in some areas of the Urban Renewal New Deal project. In this study, we proposed a method to construct a spatial module by combining small modules. It is expected that the combination of small modules developed in this way will help revitalize the New Deal of Urban Regeneration. In the future, additional joint details will be developed, structure review will be conducted.

In this thesis, we propose an integrated simulation method of virtual tank simulators and an entity-based constructive simulation model for small unit tactical training. To do this, we first identify requirements for virtual-constructive integrated simulation in a synthetic environment. We then propose a virtual and constructive interoperation method where individual combat entities of virtual-constructive models are interacting with each others. We develop a method of aggregating individual combat entities into a larger combat unit and disaggregating an unit into entities from time to time. We also present a way of sharing synthetic environment information between the models. Finally, we suggest that for more effective interoperability, virtual and constructive models should be developed by using common combat object models. The proposed interoperation method can be extended to further live-virtual-constructive models.

Population growth in Korea is slowing down, and the ratio of 1~2 person households has exceeded 53.3% of the total. And in the future, it is becoming more important how to accommodate as proper planning in residential areas. In this paper, we examine whether the existing district unit plans respond appropriately to the trend of the increase in small-sized housing, and we propose improvement plans for elements of the district unit plan and measures to enhance its applicability in response to small-sized housing. To do this, we analyzed the guidelines and contents of the district unit plans related to small-sized housing in recent 6 residential sites, and derived problems and improvements through literature review and expert consultation. As a result of the study, we proposed the items that need to be reflected in the district unit plan related to various housing type for one person household. And planning elements related to households, housing site, building layout, and architectural shape and appearance were also proposed, which were suitable for single-person households, such as small-sized communal housing, share-house, and single-person housing. It also suggested that single-person households should be considered for housing characteristics, including introduction of auxiliary welfare facilities such as unmanned delivery box and guest houses, and exclusion of low-demand auxiliary welfare facilities such as kindergartens. The suggested content can be used to make guidelines for small-sized housing in district unit plan.
