  • Flexible Table Form is being used more frequently at the level of formwork in construction site. However, one of the most common structural frameworks, the RC column-beam structure, is having problems in these factors. To improve this problems, this study developed support devices and proposed installation specifications to enable application of the one-way void slab method to flexible table form. It is expected that the effects of reducing the self-weight of the slab in the floor slab construction using flexible table form.

  • When using the light-weight form with polystyrene on slab, as a result of reducing the weight of slab, the span was increased or size of supporting member for slab was decreased. But capacity of punching shear resistance on the slab using the polystyrene form with plat plate system was deteriorated at critical section around the column. But standard for estimate of internal force did not exist, and established study was insufficient. This study performed the experiment on the punching shear for understanding punching shear force at the slab-column connection using the slab with polystyrene form. The principal variable was size of column, arrangement of polystyrene form and existence of shear reinforcement, and we planned four specimens. From the test, we analysed the crack, failure mode, road-displacement graph and punching shear strength, and capacity of punching shear resistance for slab using the polystyrene form was understood.

  • In tall building construction, It is important to reduce construction duration of slab form work. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to assess the required performance for reduction of construction duration in slab form work of tall buildings. We surveyed the required performance and their degrees of importance and economical efficiency through the interview and questionnaire survey by related experts. This study proposes the guideline to develop improved formwork system for reduction of construction duration.

  • The form-work operation of concrete structures is a major element determining the period and cost of construction projects. However, the selection of the appropriate form-work system is dependent on the experience of the site personnel only. In this paper, existing methods (Aluminum form, Sky deck) and new slab form-work methods (AFB: Aluminum panel Form with dropping Beam) were selected. Each method was estimated by means of Delphi techniques based on the qualitative analysis data. This paper suggests an evaluation methodology of slab form-work application in construction sites by calculating qualitative evaluation scores. The methodology finding quantified scores of qualitative criteria can be available to be applied to other construction operation evaluation methods.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide productivity analysis of conventional slab method productivity and deckplate methods in building construction. Productivity analysis was performed on the data in construction sites and a interview survey. The results of this study are as follow: 1. Kem deckplate is analyzed to the most economic in a view of the cost. 2. Kem deckplate is analyzed to the most economic and order Ferro deckplate, Form deckplate and conventional slab method in a view of the productivity. 3. Kem deckplate is analyzed to the superior slab method in a view of the quality. 4. Conventional slab method is investigated disaster of precipitation and Deckplate method is hazard of an eletric shock. Therefore, Kem deckplate method is analyzed to the superior productivity

  • The purpose of this study is to present an improvement of the form work process. The current slab form work has waste factor by unnecessary process and not complete integration with the finishing process. Therefore the study used value stream analysis methodology for effective improvement of slab form work process. The main contents of the study are as follows; 1) Understanding of non-value adding activities in existing slab form work process 2) Process integration by value stream mapping 3) Effect analysis of time-cost reduction. The study recommends that, as a future research, development of tool and technique for the non-value adding activities are eliminated in building construction.

The current slab form work has waste factor by unnecessary process and not complete integration with the finishing process. Therefore the study used value stream analysis methodology for effective improvement of slab form work process. The main contents of the study are as follows; 1) Non-value adding activities were found at existing slab form work process by current state mapping(CSM) 2) Future state mapping(FSM) suggest process Integration to slab form work. 3) Slab form work is analyzed reduction time-cost by prefabricated material. The study recommends that, as a future research, development of tool and technique for the non-value adding activities are eliminated in building construction and application of prefabricated material should be increased.

  • The Tunnel Form(T/F) system instead of traditional euro form has been tried to reduce construction duration and to improve concrete quality in reinforced concrete wall type apartment construction. To find the relationship for concrete compressive strength between cylinder mold and slab, the different curing locations of concrete cylinder mold in the room have been investigated. The test results showed that the compressive strength of the cylinder concrete with middle-upper location in the room was most near concrete compression strength with respect to slab concrete strength.

  • A density functional theory method with the local basis set was employed to perform slab calculations to study thiolate-induced surface reconstruction structures of butylthiolates (ButS) with c($4{\times}2$) superlattice of the Au(111) surface. The slab calculations indicate that the most stable adsorption structure is the ButS-Au (adatom)-SBut complex form, which is in good agreement with the reported experiments and theoretical results for thiolates with shorter alkyl chains. The cis form of ButS-Au (adatom)-SBut motifs is preferred by 0.11 eV with respect to the trans form, and by 0.15 eV over the mixed cis-trans configurations due to the steric hindrance between adjacent butyl groups. It appears that the motif of Au adatom on the Au(111) surface is favored even for butylthiolate.

  • The structural performance of Slip-Form system was examined to make use of many advantages of fast construction and high quality c0ncret.e. However, the separate cor~struction of wall and slabs may cause some weaknesses around the wall-slab connection region. Thus, the purpose of the study is to examine the structural performance of wall-type structure constructed by Slip-Form method and to develop an efficient connection system between wall and slabs. In order to investigate the system, 7 wall specimens and 8 wall-slab joint specimens were tested and the experimental results were compared with the design equations and theoretical analysis. A satisfactory performance was obtained from the wall specimen tests. However, wall-slab joint specimens with rebar connection materials I Ilalfen] were shown that. the strength of' wall should be checked during design porocess.
