  • Component adaptation is widely recognized as one of the main problems of the components, used in component based software engineering (CBSE). We developed methods to adjust the components classified by the keywords. Three main methods are discussed in this article those methods are combined with several domain component interfaces, high level simple notation for the adapter design patterns. The automated process for classifying high-level components are using adaptation is novel to software engineering domain. All Specifications and many technologies for re-using software, CBD and further developments have been emerged in recent years. The effects of these technologies on program quality or software costs must be analyzed. The risk concerns a single technology and must identify its combinations. In this paper, we are going to discuss the methods to adapt components of different technologies

  • The follicle stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR) is a glycoprotein hormone, that belongs to the GPCR superfamily. FSHR plays a major role in reproduction. The aberrant activation of FHS receptor leads to infertility and several reproductive disorders. The recently recognized roles of the FSHR in diverse extragonadal tissues is also closely related to Alzheimer's disease and cancers. Analysing the structural characteristics of the receptor is important in understanding the pathophysiology of diseases associated with the receptor. In this present study, homology modelling of FSHR-TM domain was developed using four different templates. Totally 20 models were developed using single template-based approach and selected three based on the validation of RC plot, RMSD, ProSA, QMEAN and ERRAT values. The developed models would be useful for further research on the structural characteristics and binding characteristics of the FSHR-TM domain.

  • Computational methods based on the solution of the flow model are widely used for the analysis of lowspeed, inviscid, attached-flow problems. Most of such methods are based on the implementation of the internal Dirichlet boundary condition. In this paper, the time-domain panel method uses the piecewise constant source and doublet singularities. The present method utilizes the time-stepping loop to simulate the unsteady motion of the rotary wing blade. The wake geometry is calculated as part of the solution with no special treatment. To validate the results of aerodynamic characteristics, the typical blade was chosen such as, Caradonna-Tung blade and present results were compared with the experimental data and the other numerical results in the single blade condition and two blade condition. This isolated rotor blade model consisted of a two bladed rotor with untwisted, rectangular planform blade. Computed flow-field solutions were presented for various section of the blade in the hovering mode.

  • It is very important to understand the domain structures of ferroelectric BaTiO3 in the poling process. Especially because {111} twinning is frequently observed in most BaTiO3 ceramics it is required to know the relations between the ferroelectric domains and the structural twin. In this study the domain structures of a {111} twinned crystal sample were observed under a polarizing microscope. and the relation between the {111} twin and the domain configurations could be classified into two types of 'V'-shape and linear shape penetrating perpendicular to the twin boundary. Domain formation obeys the symmetry of the {111} twining when a new domain structure is developed by heat treatment and surface deformation due to domain formation is also occured symmetrically between the both sides of the{111} twin boundary. This symmetrical behavior of the domains could be interpreted with the "head-to-tall" orientation of the domains across the {111} twin boundary.

  • The transcription factor CP2c has been recently validated as an oncogenic protein that can serve as a promising target for anticancer therapy. We have recently documented that a recombinant protein corresponding to the putative DNA-binding region (residues 63-244) of CP2c adopted two different conformers, one of which is dominated by zinc binding. However, in the present study, a longer construct encompassing residues 63-302 appeared to form a single structural domain. This domain could be considered to adopt a functionally relevant fold, as the known specific binding of a dodecapeptide to this protein was evident. Hence, the residues 63-302 region rather than 63-244 can be regarded as a natively folded structural domain of CP2c. In addition, it was confirmed that zinc ions can bind to this putative DNA-binding domain of CP2c, which resulted in reduced stability of the protein. In this context, it is suggested that the mode of action of CP2c would resemble that of tumor suppressor p53.

  • In general, organizations operating multi-domain networks find it difficult to represent and manage multiple domain net works on a single screen space. Instead, most of them are managed with multiple screens visualizing network topology by domain or partitioning one screen area into multiple domains. We propose an efficient method to visualize the topology using only minimal connection information between domain-agnostic nodes in this work. This method visualizes the topology by utilizing centrality indices representing the influence of nodes in the network. Furthermore, the method dynamically segments the entire node's display area using virtual Root nodes to auto-separate domains and weights of child nodes and placing nodes in 3D space. Thus, although it is a straightforward method, the multi-domain network topology can be visualized with only minimal connection information between nodes.

  • New reliability-based topology optimization method is proposed by utilizing single-loop single vector approach, which approximate searching the most probable point in the probabilistic design domain analytically, to reduce the time cost and dealing with several constraints to handle practical design requirements. To examine uncertainties in the topology design of a structure, the modulus of elasticity of the material and applied loadings are considered as probabilistic design variables. The results of design examples show that the proposed method provides efficiency curtailing the time for the optimization process and accuracy satisfying the specified reliability.

  • Among the various image fusion or pan-sharpening methods, those wavelet-based methods provide superior radiometric quality. However, the fusion processing is not only simple but also flexible, since many low- and high-frequency sub-bands are often produced in the wavelet domain. To address this issue, a novel DT-CWT (Dual-Tree Complex Wavelet Transform) proportional to the fusion method by a WZP (Wavelet Zero-Padding) is proposed. The proposed method produces a single high-frequency image in the spatial domain that is injected into the LRM (Low-Resolution Multispectral) image. Thus, a wavelet domain fusion can be simplified to spatial domain fusion. In addition, in the proposed DT-CWTP (DT-CWT Proportional) fusion method, it is unnecessary to decompose the LRM image by adopting WZP. The comparison indicates that the proposed fusion method is nearly five times faster than the DT-CWT with SW (Substitute-Wavelet) fusion method, meanwhile simultaneously maintaining the radiometric quality. The conducted experiments with WorldView-2 satellite images demonstrated promising results with the computation efficiency and fused image quality.

  • As the low power GPS signal is susceptible to interference, interference can seriously degrade the performance of GPS receiver. This paper designs a ANIEF(Adaptive Narrowband Interference Excision in Frequency domain) filter that removes narrow band interferences with low signal loss. This filter uses the pre-correlation technique and attempts to filter out the interference in the frequency domain. The interference excision performance of the designed filter is evaluated for various interferences using the ANIEF filter inserted GPS software receiver and the interference generator. Interferences considered in this paper are single-tone CWI(Continuous Wave Interference), multi-tones CWI, pulsed CWI, and swept CWI. The narrowband interference excision filter in frequency domain is very effective against various interferences and the strong interference with a simple structure. However, the signal power loss is unavoidable while transforming. In this paper, the hamming window and overlap technique are adopted to reduce the signal power loss. Finally, the interference excision performance and the reduced signal power loss of the ANIEF filter are shown.
