The main aim of the paper is to reveal what is the sign in art and architecture and what is difference between technology and art. By keeping in mind the suggestions of Heidegger's four different worlds, we become able to discern or elaborate on four different contexts of signs and modes in which the sign can work. World (1) is not conceptualized by selected relations of some of things' aspects with one another; rather, it is constructed by our sensory impressions. The sign of World (1) simply points to other objects occurring in the situation. World (2) emerges as an ontological term, and signifies, in terms of relations that are now brought systematically forth, the Being of those entities of World (1) which we naively perceive or take for granted. The sign of World (2) signifies a constructed world. World (3) is understood as the 'wherein' or environment of beings whose total activity is proven to be inseparable from their circumstances. The sign of World (3) is to recover the perspicuous silence of World (3). The World (4) is the ontological-existential understanding of worldhood. The sign of World (4) is to reveal the conspicuous silence of World (4). Finally, the paper suggests that art including architecture cannot be the sign of World (1), (2) but the one of World (3).

Interferon tau (IFN$\tau$), the pregnancy recognition signal in ruminants, suppresses transcription of the estrogen receptor (ER) gene in the endometrial luminal (LE) and superficial glandular epithelium (sGE) to prevent oxytocin receptor (OTR) expression and pulsatile release of luteolytic prostaglandin $F_{2{\alpha}}$ (PGF), Interferon regulatory factors one (IRF-l) and two (IRF-2) are transcription factors induced by IFN$\tau$ that activate and silence gene expression, respectively. Available results suggest that IFN$\tau$ acts directly on LE and sGE during pregnancy to induce sequentially IRF-l and then IRF-2 gene expression to silence transcription of ER and OTR genes, block the luteolytic mechanism to maintenance a functional corpus luteum (CL) and, signal maternal recognition of pregnancy. The theory for maternal recognition of pregnancy in pigs is that the uterine endometrium of cyclic gilts secretes PGF in an endocrine direction, toward the uterine vasculature for transport to the CL to exert its luteolytic effect. However, in pregnant pigs, estrogens secreted by the conceptuses are responsible, perhaps in concert with effects of prolactin and calcium, for exocrine secretion of PGF into the uterine lumen where it is sequestered to exert biological effects and / or be metabolized to prevent luteolysis.

This study is intended to examine the various kinds of emptiness that are shown in the empty spaces created by Hyo-Sang Seung and Louis I. Kahn. Architecture creates the usefulness of a certain space thanks to its emptiness. The word, 'Emptiness' has the following meanings, 'non-fulfillment', 'non-existence', 'emptiness', 'blankness', 'non-visibility' and 'non-limitation', etc. Such concepts of emptiness can be broadly divided into 'ideological emptiness', 'aesthetic' and 'architectural spatial'. Comparisons regarding such concepts of emptiness as they are expressed in the architectural spaces created by Hyo-sang Seung and Louis I. Kahn shall be identified in this study. Hyo-sang Seung tried to leave numerous open possibilities which can contain everything into a certain space since 'emptiness' is not being used at this moment. Louis I. Kahn tried to contain into a space the essence and silence of that space before something that exists is created. The 'emptiness' created by Hyo-sang Seung and Louis I. Kahn is a specific space which can contain more kinds of non-visible spaces than some visible ones. Thus, such spaces may contain various potentials which are possible because they are empty, because of changes in nature and time, and because of silence and intentions going beyond an artist's original intent.

In this paper, I propose a new extraction method Pitch Pulse and TSIUVC in continuous speech, The TSIUVC searching and extraction method is based on a zero-crossing rate and individual Pitch Pulse extraction method using FIR-STREAK filter. As a result, the extraction rate of individual pitch pulses was $96{\%}$ for male voice and $85{\%}$ for female voice respectively. The TSIUVC extraction rates are $94.9{\%}$ under $88{\%}$ for male voice and $94.9{\%}$ under $84.8{\%}$ for female voice. This method has the capability of being applied to a new speech coding of Voiced/Silence/TSIUVC, speech analysis and speech synthesis.

An acceptance is effected by a statement or other conduct of the offeree indicating assent. Silence or inactivity does not in itself amount to acceptance. An acceptance of an offer becomes effective at the moment the indication of assent reaches the offeror. It uses in stating rules on whether an acceptance is too late to form a contract and an offeree may withdraw an acceptance after transmission. The offeree may indicate assent by performing an act such as one relating to the dispatch of the goods or payment of the price without notice to the offeror. The acceptance by action also is to be performed within the time fixed between the parties or within a resonable time. However, an oral offer must be accepted immediately by an offeree. After an acceptance by action, the offeree avoid revocation of an offer by giving the offeror prompt notice to that effect. Even if a reply an offer contains additions, limitations or other modifications is a rejection of the offer and constitutes a counter offer, the reply to an offer contains additional and different terms which do not materially alter the terms of the offer constitutes an acceptance unless the offeror objects to the discrepancy or to that effect. Additional or different terms relating to the price, payment, quality & quantity of the goods, time & place of delivery, a party's liability or the settlement of disputes are considered to materially alter the terms of the offer.

In a speech coding system using excitation source of voiced and unvoiced, it would be involved a distortion of speech quality in case coexist with a voiced and unvoiced consonants in a frame. So, I propose TSIUVC(Transition Segment Including Unvoiced Consonant) extraction method by using pitch pulses and Zero Crossing Rate in order to unexistent with a voiced and unvoiced consonants in a frame. And this paper present a TSIUVC approximate-synthesis method by using frequency band division. As a result, this method obtains a high quality approximation-synthesis waveform within TSIUVC by using frequency information of 0.547kHz below and 2.813kHz above. And the TSIUVC extraction rate was $91\%$ for female voice and $96.2\%$ for male voice respectively This method has the capability of being applied to a new speech coding of Voiced/Silence/TSIUVC, speech analysis, and speech synthesis.

This method has the capability of being applied to a new speech coding of Voiced/Silence/TSIUVC, speech analysis and speech synthesis.

This paper improves the performance of VAD (Voice Activity Detector) in G.723.1 Annex A 6.3kbps/5.3kbps dual rate speech coder, which is developed for Internet Phone and videoconferencing. The VAD decision is based on a three-level energy threshold. We evaluates for processing time, speech quality, and bit rate. The processing time is reduced due to the accuracy of VAD decision on the silence period. On subjective quality test there is almost no difference compared with the G.723.1. In order to measure the bit rate we count the active speech frame (VAD=1) and we can reduce more bit rate as silence periods are shown.

The things that you cannot miss when reading Chekhov's plays are "pauses" and ellipses lining up in the middle of the lines. I think what meaning to amplify and how to express a great number of "pauses" and ellipses when one directs Chekhov's works may be a crucial element that makes his works more Chekhov-like. First, proper uses of "pauses" and ellipses may be helpful for determining the characteristics of the characters. So silence in Chekhov drama allows his plays considered relatively lacking actions to become totally different drama texts with musical dynamics, that is, functions as directive or acting material to be treated delicately.
