  • Digital watermarking techniques are attracting attention as a proper solution to protect copyright for multimedia data. This paper proposes a new audio watermarking method based on Discrete Cosine Transformation (DCT) and Discrete Wavelet Transformation (DWT) for copyright protection. In our proposed watermarking method, the original audio is transformed into DCT domain and divided into two parts. Synchronization code is applied on the signal in first part and 2 levels DWT domain is applied on the signal in second part. The absolute value of DWT coefficient is divided into arbitrary number of segments and calculates the energy of each segment and middle peak. Watermarks are then embedded into each middle peak. Watermarks are extracted by performing the inverse operation of watermark embedding process. Experimental results show that the hidden watermark data is robust to re-sampling, low-pass filtering, re-quantization, MP3 compression, cropping, echo addition, delay, and pitch shifting, amplitude change. Performance analysis of the proposed scheme shows low error probability rates.

  • The CRT monitor display system for SONAR signal that are commonly used in ships or naval vessels uses vector scanning method. Therefore the processing circuits of the system is complex. Also because production had been shut down, the supply of parts is difficult as well as high-cost. FPGA -based embedded processor system is flexible to adapting to various applications because it makes simple processing circuits and its core is easily reconfigurable, and provides high speed performance in low-cost. In this paper, we describe an implementation of SONAR signal LCD display system using the FPGA embedded processor system to overcome some weakness of existing CRT system. By changing X-Y Deflection and CRT control blocks of current system into FPGA embedded processor system, our system provides the simplicity, flexibility and low-cost of system configuration, and also real-time acquisition and display of SONAR signal.

  • GNSS modernization and development is in progress throughout the globe, and it is focused on the addition of a new navigation signal. Accordingly, for the next-generation GNSS signals that have been developed or are under development, various combinations that are different from the existing GNSS signal structures can be introduced. In this regard, to design an advanced signal, it is essential to clearly understand the effects of the signal structure and design variables. In the present study, the effects of the GNSS spreading code period and GNSS data bit duration (i.e., signal design variables) on the signal processing performance were analyzed when the data bit transition was considered, based on selected GNSS signal design scenarios. In addition, a method of utilizing the obtained result for the design of a new GNSS signal was investigated.

  • In underwater signal processing, separating individual signals from mixed signals has long been a challenge due to low signal quality. The common method using Short-time Fourier transform for spectrogram analysis has faced criticism for its complex parameter optimization and loss of phase data. We propose a Triple-path Recurrent Neural Network, based on the Dual-path Recurrent Neural Network's success in long time series signal processing, to handle three-dimensional tensors from multi-channel sensor input signals. By dividing input signals into short chunks and creating a 3D tensor, the method accounts for relationships within and between chunks and channels, enabling local and global feature learning. The proposed technique demonstrates improved Root Mean Square Error and Scale Invariant Signal to Noise Ratio compared to the existing method.

  • This study presents a new architecture for a field programmable analog array (FPAA) for use in low-frequency applications, and a generalized circuit realization method for the implementation of nth-order elliptic filters. The proposed designs of both the FPAA and elliptic filters are based on the operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) used in implementing OTA-C filters for biopotential signal processing. The proposed FPAA architecture has a flexible, expandable structure with direct connections between configurable analog blocks (CABs) that eliminates the use of switches. The generalized elliptic filter circuit realization provides a simplified, direct synthetic method for an OTA-C symmetric balanced structure for even/odd-nth-order low-pass filters (LPFs) and notch filters with minimum number of components, using grounded capacitors. The filters are mapped on the FPAA, and both architectures are validated with simulations in LTspice using 90-nm complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology. Both proposed FPAA and filters generalized synthetic method achieve simple, flexible, low-power designs for implementation of biopotential signal processing systems.

  • This paper proposes on the blocking method of Internet harmful sex sites by accoustic signal processing. Pre-existing methods mainly focused on directory-based blocking and words-based blocking. But these methods are not completely blocked the Internet harmful sites. Therefore, we propose the content-based blocking method which compose of the image-based blocking and the accoustic-based blocking. In this paper, we mainly deal with the accoustic -based blocking method. Finally, the effectiveness of this system is demonstrated by several experiments.

  • An improved transition density propagation method for power estimation is proposed. The power estimation for the zero delay model is a proper criteria for the.lower boutldlIry for power consumption. A transition propagation method, including the zero delay model as a lower boundary for power stimation was studied. However, there were some redundancy factors in the process of transition density propagation. Hence this paper will explore the transition density propagation behavior to eliminate the redundancy factors and present theirriprQved estimation methodology for the signal transition density. The experiments show that the proposed method has comparably better estimation accuracy than the conventional methods.

  • Recently, It is gradually raised necessity that thickness of thin film is measured accuracy and managed in industrial circles and medical world. Ultrasonic Signal processing method is likely to become a very powerful method for NDE method of detection of microdefects and thickness measurement of thin film below the limit of Ultrasonic distance resolution in the opaque materials, provides useful information that cannot be obtained by a conventional measuring system. In the present research, considering a thin film below the limit of ultrasonic distance resolution sandwiched between three substances as acoustical analysis model, demonstrated the usefulness of ultrasonic Signal processing technique using information of ultrasonic frequency for NDE of measurements of thin film thickness, sound velocity, and step height, regardless of interference phenomenon. Numeral information was deduced and quantified effective information from the image. Also, pattern recognition of a defected input image was performed by neural network algorithm. Input pattern of various numeral was composed combinationally, and then, it was studied by neural network. Furthermore, possibility of pattern recognition was confirmed on artifical defected input data formed by simulation. Finally, application on unknown input pattern was also examined.

  • Deadbeat property is well established in digital control system design, But in continuous time, it can hardly realized for it's asymtotic property. But recently japanese researchers suggested serveral method for continuous time deadbeat property. They use delay elements In polynomials and established for the deadbeat condition. By solving this condition, unknown coefficients in polynomials with delay elements is obtained. In this paper, design method for optimal continuous time deadbeat servo system using 2nd order smooting elementsis studied. Continuous time deadbeat controller is consisted of serial integral compensator and local feedback one in state feedback loop. Determining method for damping rations and natural frequencies of smothing elements is described. By computer simulations, control inputs and system outputs are shown to have desirable property such as smoothness.
