We explore the role of bars in AGN-galaxy co-evolution using a volume-limited face-on late-type galaxy sample with $M_r$ < -19.5 and 0.02 < z < 0.055 selected from SDSS DR7. In this study, we investigate how $SFR_{fib}$ as a proxy of gas contents at galactic center (over 1~1.5 kpc bulge scale) and central stellar velocity dispersion, ${\sigma}$, of host galaxies are connected to the bar presence and AGN activity. We find that galaxies are distributed in three distinct regions over the $SFR_{fib}-{\sigma}$ space and the behaviors of their bar fraction ($f_{Bar}$) are clearly different for each region. Galaxies at the AGN dominant region tend to be gas-deficient as $f_{Bar}$ increases and bars are more frequently found in fully-quenched late-type galaxies at the quiescent region, suggesting that bars speed up of the consumption of gas by SF and lead a sudden decline in the central gas. Overall, the bar effects on the AGN activity are positive over the same space except for quiescent galaxies with ${\sigma}$ > $170km\;s^{-1}$. Most significant bar effect on the AGN activity occurs in the less massive galaxies having sufficient gas, whereas the effect on galaxies at the AGN dominant region with higher the AGN fraction is relatively small. We suggest that the bar affect both central SF and AGN activities, but differently for central gas amount and BH (or bulge) mass of galaxies. We also investigate the AGN-bar connection with only pure AGNs and then confirm that they give marginally the same results.

This paper aims to predict the substituent and Lewis acid catalysis effect or reactivity on the regioselectivity of (4+2) cycloaddition reaction of the substituted-E-arene-diazocyanides and nitrosobenzenes. Frontier orbital theory (FMO) has been applied to thermal and catalyzed Diels-Alder reaction by means of CNDO/2 and EHT-SPD methods. It has been found that: (1) The above reaction is positive rho(${\rho}$) values in Hammett equation, so it takes normal electron demand reaction, and four-frontier orbitals and Anh methods are identical with experimental major regioisomer.(2) When electron withdrawing radicals are substituted HOMO and LUMO energies of dienophiles are reduced, and the reactivity is increased. (3) The major regioisomer is predicted as B type, as the Lewis acid makes complexes of dienophile, and polaries LUMO coefficients of dienophile in an opposite way. (4) The linear correlation of Hammett is indicated in the graph of stabilized energies(${\Delta}$E) and sigma(${\sigma}$).
The experimentally determined mechanical behavior of the material under the prescribed service conditions is the basis of advanced engineering optimum design. To allow experimental data on the behavior of the material considered, uniaxial stress tests were made. The aforementioned tests have enabled the determination of mechanical properties of material at different temperatures, then, the material's resistance to creep at various temperatures and stress levels, and finally, insight into the uniaxial high cyclic fatigue of the material under different applied stresses for prescribed stress ratio. Based on fatigue tests, using modified staircase method, fatigue limit was determined. All these data contributes the reliability of the use of material in mechanical structures. Data representing mechanical properties are shown in the form of engineering stress-strain diagrams; creep behavior is displayed in the form of creep curves while fatigue of the material is presented in the form of S-N (maximum applied stress versus number of the cycles to failure) curve. Material under consideration was 18CrNi8 (1.5920) steel. Ultimate tensile strength and yield strength at room temperature and at temperature of $600^{\circ}C$: [${\sigma}_{m,20/600}=(613/156)MPa$; ${\sigma}_{0.2,20/600}=(458/141)MPa$], as well as endurance (fatigue) limit at room temperature and stress ratio of R = -1 : (${\sigma}_{f,20,R=-1}=285.1MPa$).
We have frequently encountered the rapid changes that prevalent opinion of the social community is toppled by a new and opposite opinion against the pre-exiting one. To understand this interesting process, mean-field model with infinite-interaction range has been mostly considered in previous studies S. A. Marvel et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 110, 118702 (2012). However, the mean-field interaction range is lack of reality in the sense that any individual cannot interact with all of the others in the community. Based on it, in the present work, we consider a simple model of opinion consensus so-called basic model on the low-dimensional lattices (d = 1, 2) with finite interaction range. The model consists of four types of subpopulations with different opinions: A, B, AB, and the zealot of A denoted by $A_c$, following the basic model shown in the work by S. A. Marvel et al.. Comparing with their work, we consider the finite range of the interaction, and particularly reconstruct the lattice structure by adding new links when the two individuals have the distance < ${\sigma}$. We explore how the interaction range ${\sigma}$ affects the opinion consensus process on the reconstructed lattice structure. We find that the critical fraction of population for $A_c$ required for the opinion consensus on A shows different behaviors in the small and large interaction ranges. Especially, the critical fraction for $A_c$ increases with the size of ${\sigma}$ in the region of small interaction range, which is counter-intuitive: When the interaction range is increased, not only the number of nodes affected by $A_c$ but also that affected by B grows, which is believed to cause the increasing behavior of the critical fraction for $A_c$. We also present the difference of dynamic process to the opinion consensus between the regions of small and large interaction ranges.

The results of the modification of metal materials treated by high temperature pulst:d plasma fluxes (HTlPPF) with a specific power of incident flux changing in the $(3...100)10^5{]\;}W/cm^2$ range and a pulse duration lying from 15 to $50{\;}\mu\textrm{s}$ have been presented. The results of HTPPF action were studied on the stainless steels of 18Cr-l0Ni, 16Cr- 15Ni, 13Cr-2Mo types; on the structural carbon steels of (13...35)Cr, St. 3, St. 20, St. 45 types; on the tool steels of U8, 65G, ShHI5 types, and others; on nickel and high nickel alloy of 20Cr-45Ni type; on zirconium- and vanadium-base alloys and other materials. The microstructure and properties (mechanical, tribological, erosion, and other properties) of modified materials and surface alloying of metals exposed to HTPPF action have been investigated. It was found that the modification of materials by HTPPF resulted in a simultaneous increase of several properties of the treated articles: microhardness of the surface and layers of 40...60 $\mu\textrm{m}$ in depth, tribological characteristics (friction coefficient, wear resistance), mechanical properties ({\sigma_y}, {\;}{\sigma_{0.2}}.{\;}{\sigma_r}) on retention of the initial plasticity ($\delta$), corrosion resistance, radistanation erosion under ion irradiation, and others. The determining factor of the changes observed is the structural-phase modification of the near-surface layers, in particular, the formation of the fine cellular structure in the near-surface layers at a depth of $20{\;}{\mu\textrm{m}}$ with dimension of cells changing in the range from 0.1 to $1., 5{\;}\mu\textrm{m}$, depending on the kind of material, its preliminary treatment, and the parameters of plasma fluxes. The remits obtained have shown the possibility of purposeful surface alloying of metals exposed to HTPPF action over a depth up to 20...45 $\mu\textrm{m}$ and the concentration of alloying element (Ni, Cr, V) up to 20 wt.%. Possible industrial brunches for using the treatment have been also considered, as well as some results on modifying the serial industrial articles by HTPPF.
The power loss analysis was carried out for Ni-Cu-Zn ferrite sample with different content of NiO and ZnO. The power loss, Pcv decreases monotonically with increasing temperature and attains to a certain value at around 100~120 degrees Celsius. The frequency dependence of Pcv can be explained by Pcv~f$^n$, and n is independent of the frequency, f up to 1 MHz. The Pcv decreases with an increase in ZnO/NiO. The Pcv was separated to hysteresis loss(Ph) and residual loss(Pcv-Ph). The temperature characteristics and compositional dependence of Pcv can be attributed to the Ph, while Pcv-Ph is not affected by both temperature and ZnO/NiO. By analyzing temperature and composition dependence of Ph and initial permeability, ${\mu}_i$ like following equations could be formularized. ${\mu}_i{\mu}_0=I_s^2/(K_I+b{\sigma}_0{\lambda}_s)$ Wh=13.5(I$_s^2/{\mu}_i{\mu}_0)$ Where ${\mu}_0$ is permeability of vacuum, I$_s$ is saturation magnetization, K$_I$ is anisotropy constant, $s_0$ is internal heterogeneous stress, ${\lambda}_s$ is magnetostriction constant, b is unknown constant, and Wh is hysteresis loss per one cycle of excitation (Ph=Wh${\times}$f). Steinmetz constant of Ni-Cu-Zn ferrite, m=1.64~2.2 is smaller than that of Mn-Zn ferrites, which suggests the difference of loss mechanisms between these materials.
Interest in rapid solidification of magnesium alloys stems from the fact that conventional ingot metallurgy alloys exhibit poor strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance. Such properties can be improved by microstructural refinement via rapid solidification processing. Mg-5wt%Zn alloys have been produced as continuous strips by melt overflow technique and the strips were consolidated by hot extrusion. The yield stress, tensile strengh and ductility obtained in asextruded Mg-5wt%Zn alloy were ${\sigma}_{0.2}=152\;MPa$, ${\sigma}_{T.S{\cdot}}=263\;MPa$ and ${\varepsilon}=21.8%$. In order to evaluate the influence of additional elements on mechanical properties, Th and Zr were added in rapidly solidified Mg-5wt%Zn alloy. An 130% increase in yield stress of as-extruded Mg-5wt%Zn-3wt%Th-1wt%Zr alloy was attributed to grain refinement by rapid solidification and elemental addition.
Manufacture enterprise's environment is felt difficulty more and more by suddenly rise of oil and raw material price lately. In such difficult environment, Toyota Productive System is becoming good example to all enterprises because Toyota competitive power is rising every year. Now, Toyota Company is becoming benchmarking target. In this paper, we survey Toyota Production System, we try to apply advantage of Toyota Production System to Office Work. We propose TOOF (TOyota OFfice) system which is applied to modifying Toyota Production System in financial aid Business. We hope that Office Work are improved through TOOF system.
Vehicle drift was reduced using statistical six sigma tools. The study was performed through four steps: M (measure), A (analyze), I (improve), and C (control). Step M measured the main factors which were derived from a fishbone diagram. The measurement system capabilities were analyzed and improved before measurement. Step A analyzed critical problems by examining the process capability and control chart derived from the measured values. Step I analyzed the influence of the main factors on vehicle drift using DOE (design of experiment) to derive the CTQ (critical to quality). The tire conicity and toe angle difference proved to be CTQ. This information enabled the manufacturing process related with the CTQ to be improved. The respective toe angle tolerance for the adjustment process was obtained using the Monte Carlo simulation. Step C verified and controlled the improved results through hypothesis testing and Monte Carlo simulation.
