Welding sometimes should be done inside-hull after launching. The opposite side is contacted sea-water In this case, it should be a concern that the cooling rate expected very rapid may deteriorate microstructures, and hence these microstructures are hardened, cracking happens, or toughness would be impaired. Therefore, a test program simulating the situation has been planned and welded using the ship class materials (AH32, EH36) with the related welding consumables (E71Tl-1, E81Tl-K2) and then carried out to investigate the effect of cooling rate on weldments quality. Based on the test results, it could be concluded that the welds of which the opposite side of arc is exposed to wet or flowing water are not affected by rapid cooling.

This study is to analyze the dress symbolism described in the traditional Korean narrative focusing on the psychological side. As a result of the analysis, human nature and personality were characterized as following : integrity and feminine modesty among others. These characteristics prove that human nature and personality are symbolized by dress. Through protagonists'dress in the traditional Korean narrative, the quality and price of texture, attire, clothing selection according to the situation, appearance in dress, grade of interest towards costume, and behavior that accompany the costume, it was symbolically expressed the personality of the person who wear the dress. Feeling and psychological state were represented by joy, anger, affection, and hatred. Also, it was observed that the feeling and the psychological state are symbolized through the costume ; however, these two characteristics are symbolized not only with costume itself but also with the behavior that accompanies the situation and costume. The latter were considered more important factor than the former.

The air-side particulate fouling in the heat exchangers of HVAC applications degrades the performance of cooling capacity, pressure drop across a heat exchanger, and indoor air quality. Indoor and outdoor air contaminants foul heat exchangers. The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of the air-side particulate fouling materials in finned-tube heat exchangers of air conditioners. Air conditioners being used in the field such as inns, restaurants, and offices are collected in chronological order in use. Typical fouling materials on the heat exchangers include fibers and dusts ranged from 6.6 to 20.9 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in mass median diameter.

Electric arc furnace has consumed plenty of power. Hence electric arc furnace can be expected to use for demand side management. When electric arc furnace use for demand side management, electric arc furnace frequently occur a starting and a stop. Electric arc furnace irregularity change consumption of power. Due to character of time-varing and non-linear, electirc arc furnace has a problem with voltage quality(flicker, harmonics). Producted harmonic in electric art furnace is different any harmonic source because of electric arc furnace peculiar operating. Accordingly, analysis for generated harmonic in electric arc furnace operating is demanded. This paper analyze effect of harmonic by arc furnace operating.

This paper describes the design of a new method for the minimization of STS breaking time at utility side fault. The proposed method provides reducing the fault current time use for the STS. In this paper, it is also considered with the characteristic of fault current, it can be avoided to decline the power quality damaged in the utility side fault. The simulation results show the usefulness of the method.

Wyner-Ziv 비디오 부호화 기술은 Slepian-Wolf와 Wyner-Ziv의 분산 정보원 부호화 (DSC : distributed source coding) 이론을 기반으로 한 새로운 비디오 압축 패러다임이다. Wyner-Ziv 부호화는 기존 부호화기 측의 복잡한 작업을 복호화기 측으로 이동시킴으로써 단순한 부호화기/복잡한 복호화기의 구조를 실현한다. Wyner-Ziv 복호화기는 원영상의 예측신호인 보조정보를 생성하기 위해 움직임 추정 및 보상을 수행하며, Wyner-Ziv 부호화기의 정보량은 이 보조정보에 직접적으로 의존하기 때문에 보조정보 생성효율은 전체 부호화 성능에 큰 영향을 미친다. 본 논문에서는 필드 부호화를 이용한 개선된 보조정보 생성방법을 제안한다. 우선 top 필드는 기존의 방식으로 부호화되고, bottom 필드는 이미 복호화 된 top 필드의 정보를 이용한 새로운 보조정보 생성방식으로 부호화된다. 실험결과를 통해 제안된 보조정보 생성방식이 기존의 방식과 비교할 때, 율-왜곡 성능 및 주관적 화질이 개선되었음을 알 수 있다.

In this paper, a distributed image coding scheme for multi-view video through an efficient generation of side information is proposed. A distributed video coding technique corrects the errors in the side information, which is generated with the original image, by using the channel coding technique at the decoder. Therefore, the more correct the generated side information is, the better the performance of distributed video coding. The proposed technique is to apply the distributed video coding schemes to the image coding for multi-view video. It generates side information by selectively and efficiently using both 3-dimensional warping based on the depth map with spatially adjacent frames and motion-compensated temporal interpolation with temporally adjacent frames. In this scheme the difference between the adjacent frames, the sizes of the motion vectors for the adjacent blocks, and the edge information are used as the selection criteria. From the experiments, it was observed that the quality of the side information generated by the proposed technique was improved by the average peak signal-to-noise ratio of 0.97dB than the one by motion-compensated temporal interpolation or 3-dimensional warping. The result from analyzing the rate-distortion curves revealed that the proposed scheme could reduce the bit-rate by 8.01% on average at the same peak signal-to-noise ratio value, compared to previous work.

The purpose of this study is to encourage the circulation of good quality of oriental medicine and to improve national welfare. Investigation for the induction of quality inscription system was conducted by mail and interview. The data were analyzed by SAS. The major results were as follows: The portion of subjects agree to necessity of quality inscription was 78.5%. In the question of side effect against quality inscription, the rate of negative was 67.7%. The responses answered that the necessity of quality inscription was not economical profit but authority of knowledge and improvement on health(37.8%), established market for herbal medicine(34.7%) and effect of clinical care(23.9%), respectively These results might be useful information for establishing of quality inscription system for herbal medicine.

인터넷을 기반으로 한 오디오 데이터 전송 시 발생되는 품질의 열화를 극복하여 고품질의 오디오 재생이 가능한, 고품질 오디오 스트리밍 서비스를 위한 복합적 QoS 보장 기법을 제안한다. 오디오 데이터는 연속성과 시간제약성을 가지고 있기 때문에 전송시 통신망의 상황에 따라 그 재생 품질이 결정된다. 이때 필요한 QoS 보장 기법으로, 인터넷의 상황에 따라 동적으로 전송률을 가변 시키면서 손실된 패킷의 재전송과 동적 버퍼 제어 기법을 복합적으로 적용하는 기법을 적용하였다. 클라이언트 내의 버퍼를 현재 망 상황에 따라 제어함으로써 재전송에 필요한 시간을 확보하고, 전송률도 함께 연동 조정하여 재전송에 따른 전송률 저하 현상을 방지한다. 실제 인터넷 환경에서 복합적 QoS 보장기법을 적용하여 고품질로 재생되는 오디오 스트리밍 서비스의 성능을 확인하였다.

Objectives: The aim of this study is to evaluate promotional Internet health information on health functional foods with regard to labeling information, website structure, and overall quality. Methods : The websites of 15 producers of three health functional foods (Red ginseng, vitamin, aloe) were selected. Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) required labeling information was used to evaluate the integrity of basic information, and the structural properties of the websites were investigated. Moreover, DISCERN instrument was used to evaluate reliability and quality of information. Results : 1) Among MFDS required labeling information, seven items, including 'sell by date', and 'possible side effects' were not fully specified, and only 6.7% of Internet advertisements provided 'possible side effects'. 2) Each of 92.9% of these websites offered 'Introducation to websites and producers', and 'customer service', whereas only 64.3% and 42.9% of these websites offered 'FAQ about website utilization' and 'multilingual support', respectively. 3) The evaluation using DISCERN instrument showed the scores of $2.03{\pm}0.24$ in reliability, $1.87{\pm}0.28$ in quality, and $2.10{\pm}0.55$ in overall quality. Conclusions : Current promotional Internet health information on health functional foods has various weaknesses in terms of reliability and quality that need to be improved.
