인공생장호르몬을 사용하여 생산되는 우유의 안전성에 대한 미국소비자들의 관심에 관한 연구 (Consumer Concerns for Safety to Cow's Milk Produced by Biotechnology in the United States)

  • The purposes of this study were to determine the factors that influence consumer concerns for safety to cow's milk produced using food-related biotechnology and to find the similarity and difference among concern factors relating short-term and long-term risk perception. Telephone interviews were conducted and the data were collected from households(n=1,466) nationwide in the U.S. And the data were analyzed by probit model and LIMDEP softare package. The data demonstrated that consumers were concerned about food safety from consuming milk produced using food-related biotechnology. The concerns were found to be influenced by demographic factors(gender in short-term, gender and age in long-term) as well as psychological aspect such as outrage(heard about bGH, milk belief about naturalness, expected benefit in short-term, heard about bGH, expected benefit in long-term) and attitudinal factors(animal rights group, locus of control in short-term, animal rights group, cancer history, locus of control in long-term). The results suggest that consumers have concerns for safety to cow's milk produced by biotechnology and the most factors influencing consumer concerns were similar between short-term and long-term period, though a few factors such as cancer history, milk belief about naturalness and age were different.

국내 적용되고 있는 흙막이구조물의 축력에 대한 관리기준치 분석 (A Control Value Analysis on the Axial Force of Braced Excavation Walls Used In Korea)

  • This study aims to present a more reasonable control value than the exiting one by comparing and analyzing control values and field instrumentation values of the whole excavation depth of the four case sites using geometric averaging as a statistical method. The range of the study is confined to three things: (1) the axial force of the braced excavation walls among a variety of items prescribed in the control values by stress deformation of walls and adjacent structures; (2) by approximation of the allowable and design value; (3) and by safety factor. As a res it is desirable to revise "(Long term allowable stress + Short term allowable stress)/2 ~ Short term allowable stress," presented in the present control values by stress deformation of walls and adjacent structures, to "(Long term allowable stress + Short term allowable stress)/5 ~ (Short term allowable stress)/3." The result also shows that since there is a difference of about 3.5%, it is not necessary to revise 70, 90, and 100 percent of LEVEL I, II, and III, prescribed in the control values by the allowable and design value approximation. In addition, modifying the control value by the safety factor, now 1.07, is unnecessary, although it varies little difference from the present value.

구조품질 향상을 위한 로드맵 제시 연구 (A Study on Suggesting a Road-Map for Improving the Quality of Rescue)

  • Along with the increase in demand for rescue services, the types of rescue services are also diversifying. Accordingly, rescue workers are exposed to various unpredictable dangerous situations, and the possibility of safety accidents is increasing, so the need for systematic management of safety accidents by rescue teams is emerging. It is necessary to present a roadmap for improving the quality of rescue services. An integrated technology roadmap tool that can be used immediately to improve structural quality was applied. The driving elements of the roadmap are composed of three elements that constitute the improvement of structural quality. It can be divided into safety management, professional competence and other (policy support) fields. This study intends to present a long-term and short-term roadmap by dividing it into safety management, professional competency, and other (policy support) fields.

  • The basis of cyber trading has been sufficiently developed with innovative advancement of Internet Technology and the tendency of stock market investment has changed from long-term investment, which estimates the value of enterprises, to short-term investment, which focuses on getting short-term stock trading margin. Hence, this research shows a Short-term Stock Price Forecasting System on Learning Agent System using DTA(Decision Tree Algorithm) ; it collects real-time information of interest and favorite issues using Agent Technology through the Internet, and forms a decision tree, and creates a Rule-Base Database. Through this procedure the Short-term Stock Price Forecasting System provides customers with the prediction of the fluctuation of stock prices for each issue in near future and a point of sales and purchases. A Human being has the limitation of analytic ability and so through taking a look into and analyzing the fluctuation of stock prices, the Agent enables man to trace out the external factors of fluctuation of stock market on real-time. Therefore, we can check out the ups and downs of several issues at the same time and figure out the relationship and interrelation among many issues using the Agent. The SPFA (Stock Price Forecasting System) has such basic four phases as Data Collection, Data Processing, Learning, and Forecasting and Feedback.

Simulation and transient analyses of a complete passive heat removal system in a downward cooling pool-type material testing reactor against a complete station blackout and long-term natural convection mode using the RELAP5/3.2 code

  • In this paper, a complete station blackout (SBO) or complete loss of electrical power supplies is simulated and analyzed in a downward cooling 5-MW pool-type Material Testing Reactor (MTR). The scenario is traced in the absence of active cooling systems and operators. The code nodalization is successfully benchmarked against experimental data of the reactor's operating parameters. The passive heat removal system includes downward water cooling after pump breakdown by the force of gravity (where the coolant streams down to the unfilled portion of the holdup tank), safety flapper opening, flow reversal from a downward to an upward cooling direction, and then the upward free convection heat removal throughout the flapper safety valve, lower plenum, and fuel assemblies. Both short-term and long-term natural core cooling conditions are simulated and investigated using the RELAP5 code. Short-term analyses focus on the safety flapper valve operation and flow reversal mode. Long-term analyses include simulation of both complete SBO and long-term operation of the free convection mode. Results are promising for pool-type MTRs because this allows operators to investigate RELAP code abilities for MTR thermal-hydraulic simulations without any oscillation; moreover, the Tehran Research Reactor is conservatively safe against the complete SBO and long-term free convection operation.

자동차용 엔지니어링 플라스틱의 접합조건 (Joining Condition of Engineering Plastic for Car)

A part of these fusion methods to determine the soundness of the short-term trials and long-term tests can be largely classified. Typical tests included short-term strength, tensile strength, impact strength, compressive strength, resiliency and compression. Polyethylene (PE) pipes installed in the domestic terms of overall penetration rate of 45% has been used. However, polyethylene (PE) pipes have reliability problems, and these occurs mostly in part by defective welding. Therefore, the test is necessary for safety. Non-destructive methods (ultrasonic testing) are difficult to be used. Therefore, Polyethylene (PE) pipe are used. Fusion of thses materilas is necessary in these field however, its technical, and basic research has not been studied well. In this research, short-term strength of welding parts, its tensile strength, hardness, fatigue, and microstructure have been analyzed to find the optimum process conditions to improve mechanical properties.

Long Short-Term Memory를 이용한 부산항 조위 예측 (Tidal Level Prediction of Busan Port using Long Short-Term Memory)

  • 본 연구는 조위 관측자료를 이용하여 부산항에서의 장기 조위 자료를 생성하는 Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM)으로 구현된 순환신경망 모델을 개발하였다. 국립해양조사원의 부산 신항과 통영에서 관측된 조위 자료를 모델 입력 자료로 사용하여 부산항의 조위를 예측하였다. 모델에 대하여 2019년 1월 한 달의 학습을 수행하였으며, 이후 2019년 2월에서 2020년 1월까지 1년에 대하여 정확도를 계산하였다. 구축된 모델은 부산 신항과 통영의 조위 시계열을 함께 입력한 경우에 상관계수 0.997 및 평균 제곱근 오차 2.69 m로 가장 성능이 높았다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 딥러닝 순환신경망 모델을 이용하여 임의 항만의 장기 조위 자료 예측이 가능함을 알 수 있었다.

원자력 시설에서의 인적 오류 발생 최소화를 위한 인간공학적 단기대책수립에 관한 연구 (Short-Term Human Factors Engineering Measures for Minimizing Human Error in Nuclear Power Facilities)

  • The objective of this study is to develop short-term prevention measures for minimizing possible human error in nuclear power facilities. To accomplish this objective, a group of subject matter experts (SMEs) were formed, which is consisting of those from regulatory bodies, academia, industries and research institutes. Prevention measures were established for urgent execution in nuclear power facilities on a short-term basis. This study suggests short-term measures for reducing human error on three different areas; (1) strengthening worker management, (2) enhancing workplace environments and working methods, and (3) improving the technologies regulating human factors. Under the leadership of the Ministry of Science and Technology, these short-term measures will be pursued and implemented systematically by utility and regulatory agencies. The details of prevention measures are presented and discussed.

운전자 단기기억 특성을 고려한 차내 교통안전정보의 효용함수 추정 (Estimating Utility Function of In-Vehicle Traffic Safety Information Incorporating Driver's Short-Term Memory)

  • 도로 주행중 제공된 교통정보는 운전자의 단기기억에 저장되고 이는 수초가 지나면 기억에서 사라진다. 정보제공의 효과 평가시 더미변수를 이용하는 기존방법으로는 이러한 현상을 반영할 수 없는 한계가 있다. 보다 적절한 평가를 위해서, 본 연구는 전방 시야가 제약된 도심 신호교차로 접근로에서 실시한 주행실험 자료를 토대로 운전자의 단기기억을 고려한 차내 교통안전정보의 효용함수 특성화와 안전도 평가방법론을 제안한다. 이를 위해서, 운전자의 속도선택에 기초한 주행 안정성 평가모형을 순서 프로빗모형으로 개발하고, 교통운영, 기하구조, 도로환경, 운전자 요소를 동시에 고려하여 차내 교통안전정보의 효용함수를 추정하였다. 분석결과, 본 연구에서 제안한 차내 교통안전정보의 효용을 설명하는데 정규밀도 함수(지수함수)가 적합하고, 효용은 약 22초 동안 유지되며, 크기는 시간증가에 따라 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 차내 실시간 교통안전정보의 중요도는 교통운영요소 보다는 낮고 기하구조요소 보다는 높은 것으로 분석되었다.
