Waste glass is a global solid waste with huge reserves. The discarded waste glass has caused a series of problems such as resource waste and environmental pollution, so it is urgent to recycle waste glass with high replacement level. Glass powder (GP), as a supplementary cementitious material (SCM), used in cement-based materials has already become one of the important ways to recycle waste glass mainly attributed to its pozzolanic reaction and filling effect, especially to the suppressed ASR expansion. This paper demonstrates an overview of the properties of GP and its effect on the fresh and mechanical properties of cement-based materials. The study found that the influence of GP on the performance of cement-based materials mainly depends on its content, particle size, color and type, curing conditions, and other SCMs. Finally, based on the problems involved in the investigation of concrete containing GP, some corresponding suggestions and efforts are given to further guide the utilization of GP in cement-based materials.

Effects of Cantharidinate on apoptosis of human colorectal cancer UTC-116 cells were investigated by means of 3-(4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2, 5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay, H and E staining, flow cytometry, and Raman Spectra analysis. The results showed Cantharidinate to exert inhibitory action on proliferation of human colorectal cancer UTC-116 cells, inducing apoptosis, arresting cells in G1 phase, with decline of S and G2 phases. In addition, the results of Raman spectrum showed significant changes in the UTC-116 cells chemical structure with stretching after the application of Cantharidinate. Taken together, these results suggest that the treatment of human colorectal cancer with Cantharidinate may be associated with multiple molecular mechanisms for apoptosis. Furthermore, similar to fluorouracil, Cantharidinate should be considered as novel assistant drug for controlling the growth of human colorectal cancer UTC-116 cells.

These days as the average span of man's life increases, the patients of senile dementia also increase. In oriental medicine, the study of dementia developed during the Ming and Qing eras. So I investigated medical books on those eras, as a result, the following conclusion was drawn. 1. ZhangJingYue of the Ming era considered the cause of dementia to be emotional problems, he observed a delirium, abnormal actions, sweating loss and depression in the dementia patients and he prescribed 'BokManJeon', 'ChilBokYem' and 'DaeBoWonJeon'. 2. ChenShiZe of the Ming&Qing era considered the cause of dementia to be a dejection of liver energy, a weakness of stomach energy and phlegm, he described many symptoms and he prescribed 'SeSimTang' and 'ChukBoSunDan'. 3. WangQingRen of the Qing era considered amnesia caused by abnormal brain function, this fact is similar to Western Medicine.

The Yellow River delta is an important region where coastal and newly formed wetlands distribute in north China. Based on satellite remote sensing images and GIS techniques, this paper tends to delineate the dynamic changes of newly formed wetland in the Yellow River mouth from 1986.5 to 1996.10. Our results show that the newly formed wetland increased by 24.9 $\textrm{km}^2$ per year. Before 1990. 1 and it decreased by 2.40 $\textrm{km}^2$ per year after that. The northern and southwestern parts of the Yellow River mouth are main positions of decrease and the southern and the estuary parts are main positions of increase. The advancing rate of river mouth extending into the Bo Sea is decreasing obviously. The reason for that is the decreasing of water and sediments in the Yellow River, which caused by the increasing use of water and soil conservation on upper reach.

Annexin A3 has been identified as a novel biomarker in different types of cancers. However, little is known about its clinical significances and and biological roles in gastric cancer. In this study, we assessed annexin A3 expression in 80 patients with gastric cancer and explore its correlation with prognosis Moreover, correlations with Ki-67, Bcl-2 and Bax were also investigated. Expression of annexin A3 was increased in gastric cancer compared with that in normal gastric tissues. Annexin A3 expression was significantly associated with tumor volume and TNM stage (p<0.05). and inversely correlation with prognosis of patients. More interestingly, expression of annexin A3 was positive correlated with Ki-67 and Bcl-2 expression. Our study showed annexin A3 might be a potential prognostic marker for gastric cancer and involved in tumorigenesis by regulating apoptosis and proliferation.

The polymorphism of microphthalmia-associated transcription factor (MITF) and tyrosinase (TYR) genes have been proposed to play a vital role in coat colour genesis in mammals, but their role remains ambiguous in geese at best. Here, we cloned and sequenced 1,397 bp coding region of MITF gene and a 588 bp fragment of TYR exon 1 for polymorphism analysis among 157 domestic geese showing three types of plumage colour. We detected a total of three SNPs (c.280T>C, c.345G>A, and c.369G>A) in TYR and six haplotypes (H1-H6). Among them, haplotypes H1, H2, H3, and H5 were significantly associated with white plumage trait of Zhedong White Geese. However, only diplotype H1H1 and H3H5 were significantly associated with white plumage trait of Zhedong White Geese (p<0.01). We only detected one SNP (c.1109C>T) for MITF gene and found that genotype CT and TT were significantly associated with white plumage trait of Zhedong White Geese. Briefly, our study suggested an association between polymorphisms of TYR and MITF genes and the plumage colour trait in domestic geese.

Active distribution system (ADS) considering distributed generation (DG) and electric vehicle (EV) is an effective way to cut carbon emission and improve system benefits. ADS is an evolving, complex and uncertain system, thus comprehensive model and effective optimization algorithms are needed. Battery swapping station (BSS) for EV service is an essential type of flexible load (FL). This paper establishes ADS planning model considering BSS firstly for the minimization of total cost including feeder investment, operation and maintenance, net loss and carbon tax. Meanwhile, immune binary firefly algorithm (IBFA) is proposed to optimize ADS planning. Firefly algorithm (FA) is a novel intelligent algorithm with simple structure and good convergence. By involving biological immune system into FA, IBFA adjusts antibody population scale to increase diversity and global search capability. To validate proposed algorithm, IBFA is compared with particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm on IEEE 39-bus system. The results prove that IBFA performs better than PSO in global search and convergence in ADS planning.

Steel plate-masonry composite structure is a newly-developed type of structural technique applicable to existing masonry buildings by which the load-bearing walls can be removed for large spaces. This kind of structure has been used in practice for its several advantages, but experimental investigation on its elements is nearly unavailable in existing literature. This paper presents an experimental study on the flexural behaviour of four steel plate-masonry composite beams loaded by four-point bending. Test results indicate that failure of the tested beams always starts from the local buckling of steel plate, and that the tested beams can satisfy the requirement of service limit state. In addition, the assumption of plane section is still remained for steel plate prior to local buckling or steel yielding. By comparative analyses, it was also verified that the working performance of the beam is influenced by the cross-section of steel plate, which can be efficiently enhanced by epoxy adhesive rather than cement mortar or nothing at all. Besides, it was also found that the contribution of the encased masonry to the flexural capacity of the composite beam cannot be ignored when the beam is injected with epoxy adhesive.

It is widely believed that cognitive radio (CR) networks have an opportunistic nature and therefore can only support best-effort traffics without quality-of-service (QoS) guarantees. In this paper, we propose a centralized CR network that adopts interference averaging techniques to support QoS guaranteed traffics under interference outage constraints. In such a CR network, a CR user adaptively adjusts its transmit power to compensate for the channel loss, thereby keeping the receive signal power at the CR base station (BS) at a constant level. The closed-form system capacity of such a CR network is analyzed and derived for a single cell with one CR BS and multiple CR users, taking into account various key factors such as interference outage constraints, channel fading, cell radius, and locations of primary users. The accuracy of the theoretical results is validated by Monte Carlo simulations. Numerical and simulation results show promising capacity potential for deploying QoS-guaranteed CR networks in frequency bands with fixed primary receivers. Our work can provide theoretical guidelines for the strategic planning of centralized CR networks.

주세걸(朱世傑)의 ${\ll}$산학계몽(算學啓蒙)${\gg}$은 조선 산학 발전에 가장 큰 영향을 준 산서 중 하나이고, 경선징(慶善徵)의 ${\ll}$묵사집산법${\gg}$은 현존하는 조선 산서중에 가장 오래된 것이다. 이 논문에서는 ${\ll}$산학계몽(算學啓蒙)${\gg}$ (상권(上卷))과 ${\ll}$묵사집산법${\gg}$ (권상(卷上))의 문제를 비교 분석하여 이 두 산서에서 나타나는 수학 교육적 구성과 구조를 조사하여 두 저자의 구조는 현재에도 그대로 사용할 수 있음을 보인다.
