Recently, Grid is embossed as a new issue according to the need of cooperation related to distributed resources, data sharing, Interaction and so on. It focuses on sharing of large scale resources, high-performance, applications of new paradigms, which improved more than established distributed computing. Because of the environmental specificity distributed geographically and dynamic, the most important problem in grid environment is to share and to allocate distributed grid resources. This paper proposes supply-driven strategies model that is applicable for resource management in grid environment and presents a optimal resource allocation algorithm based on resource demands. Supply-driven strategies model can offer efficient resource management by transaction allocation based on user demand and provider strategy. This paper implements the supply-driven strategies model on the DEVS modeling and simulation environment and shows the efficiency and excellency of this model by comparing with established models.
Purpose - The objective of this paper is to investigate the effect of asset specificity, the level of information sharing, the importance of information sharing, and an integrated collaborative environment on supply chain performance. Research design, data, and methodology - Data collection was implemented as follows: questionnaires were distributed to 250 companies that have business ties with Halla Climate Control Corporation. The empirical study to test our hypothesis was based on statistical analysis (using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0). The hypothesis of this paper is that the asset specificity variable has positive effects on the following variables: Level of information sharing, the importance of information sharing, and integrated collaborative environment. Moreover the variables, the level of information sharing, and the importance of information sharing are strongly influenced by the variable integrated collaborative environment, and these when combined, have an effect on the dependent variable, supply chain performance. We tested our hypothesized model utilizing path analysis with latent variables. Results - According to the results of our analysis, hypothesis H1, which tests whether there is a relationship between asset specificity and the integrated collaborative environment, is supported at the 0.01 level. Hypotheses H2 and H3 were also confirmed, and asset specificity had positive effects (+) on the level of information sharing variable. The importance of the information sharing variable was statistically significant at the 0.01 level. Hypotheses H4 and H5 posited that the integrated collaborative environment variable would have a positive effect on the level of information sharing; the importance of information sharing variable was strongly supported statistically, with a significant p-value below. Moreover, the level of information sharing (H6), and the importance of information sharing (H7) variables also had a statistically relevant influence on supply chain performance. As a result, existence of a collaborative system between companies would influence supply chain performance by strengthening real-time information access and information sharing. Thus, it is important to construct a collaborative environment where information sharing among companies and cooperation is possible. Conclusions - First, with rapid changes in the business environment, it becomes necessary for enterprises to acquire the right information in order to properly implement SCM. For successful SCM, firms should understand the importance of collaboration with supply chain partners and an internally built collaboration system, which in turn will better promote a partnership commitment with suppliers as well as collaborative integration with buyers. A collaborative system, as we suggest in this paper, facilitates the maintenance of a long-term relationship of trust, and can help reinforce information sharing. Second, it is necessary to increase information sharing over time via a collaborative system so that employees of the suppliers become aware of the system. The more proactive and positive attitudes are towards such a collaborative system by the managerial group, the higher the level of information sharing will be among the users. Successful SCM performance is achieved by information sharing through a collaborative environment rather than by investing only in setting up an information system.
Purpose - This study aims to examine the factors that affect consumers' intention to use a global business-to-consumer sharing platform. Design/methodology - The questionnaire collected 300 copies from June 25 to July 11, 2019, of which 281 were used for statistical processing. The structural equation model (SEM) was used to test hypothesis in this research. Findings - The results showed that information innovation, personalization, and personal innovation influenced perceived usefulness, and social connectivity did not affect perceived usefulness. And perceived usefulness greatly influenced the intention to use. Research limitations/implications - The limitations of the study are that most of the survey respondents were in their twenties and could not grasp the perception of sharing economy services for various age groups. This paper derived implications that sharing platform promotes sharing and cooperation, which are the basic principles of international trade, to increase the intrinsic value of resources by cyclically using and utilizing limited resources around the world. Originality/value - It aims to contribute to the growth of consumer value-related industries and the welfare of society by providing implications from the point of view of sharing platform services.
Purpose - Because of the emphasis on the necessity of academic-industrial cooperation between companies and universities, there are various ongoing academic-industrial cooperation programs led by the government. As government actively supports such cooperation as policy,and universities vitalize new technology development, academic-industrial cooperation between companies and universities is being recognized as an important growth engine for companies the competitiveness of academic-industrial cooperation is also attracting more interest. The government has vitalized human resource fostering, practical R&D, and technology transfer to companies since 2012 by executing a "leading university fostering project for academic-industrial cooperation." Based on an organic interlink among universities, industry, and research institutes, the government also created and is promoting several models of such cooperation between companies and universities to support shared growth of industry and local universities. The purpose of academic-industrial cooperation is growth and benefit fromtechnology development, technical cooperation, and technology transfer between companies and universities. Research design, data, and methodology - As more academic-industrial cooperation efforts are ledby companies due to the limitation in technology-focused commercialization cooperation, the academic-industrial cooperation system became fragmented and it is losing the potential for future advancement. Specifically, as differences between universities grow, academic-industrial cooperation between companies and universities based on new technology from universities is finding difficulty advancing,while systematic support from companies to enhance the performance of businesses created by academic-industrial cooperation is also insufficient. Accordingly, this study established a growth model for the advancement of academic-industrial cooperation between companies and universities and suggested a plan to strengthen the competitiveness and promote the future advancementof academic-industrial cooperation between companies and universities by analyzing the current situation of such cooperation and diagnosing its issues. Results - This study explored the concept and current status of academic-industrial cooperation relationships and analyzed related issues. For such cooperative organizations to be competitive, the employment environment of professional human resources for academic-industrial cooperation should be improved and measures to secure professional resources should be taken as early as possible. Though the academic-industrial cooperation now is being led by government, there is a limitation based on business models, which require creation of profit; however, an academic-industrial cooperation model still cannot stand alone without the support of government. This study also pointed out that a having only a plan to build competitiveness of companies and universities for academic-industrial cooperation is not sufficient. Conclusions - In order to increase the competitiveness of academic-industrial cooperation, a detailed growth-sharing model for academic-industrial cooperation should be developed, and there should be more joint development processes for the advancement of such cooperation in which the need for technology development can be verified in advance. In addition, beyond focusing on technology-focused academic-industrial cooperation, a network between companies and universities searching for ideas for academic-industrial cooperation in the fields of human and social aspects should be created. A new academic-industrial model linking current cooperation between companies and universities to the local area should be built based on such academic-industrial cooperation in human and social fields.
Innovation becomes norm rather than exception in today's business, and accordingly firms are working on how to make their employees to work smarter using information systems and technologies. Smart work demands virtual collaboration and cooperation among team members in different places and different time. Sharing of knowledge among team members in these innovative activities are critical in every sense for the successful performance. This study explores the antecedents of knowledge sharing among team members in team-based innovation activities. Five factors (pleasure of knowledge sharing, self-efficacy, management support, rewards, and system usage) are identified through extant review of literature and an instrument is adopted and validated from previous studies. The instrument is adminitered against 138 individuals in and across 54 teams in a telecommunication firm. Except self efficacy, all the paths in the proposed research model is confirmed with different levels of relational coefficients towards the levels of knowledge sharing and innovation activities in teams. Surprisingly, findings indicate that intrinsic pleasure of sharing is most critical than management support, organizational rewards or system usage. This study fills the research gap in team management. Findings provide important implications for managing teams in coming virtual and smart environment.

In distributed object oriented environment based upon wide heterogeneous network, effective cooperation policies between/among distributed objects are needed to resolve a complexity of management of distributed objects because of growing of a large stale of systems. Thus, in this paper, we propose three trading cooperation models between/among traders for supporting a high speed and a wide selection of trader service for clients, by considering three different cooperation models(light weight trader, simple negotiation and federation) depending upon their facilities, goals, and weights of goals.
Purpose - This study aims to investigate whether the buyer's participation in CSR activities can affect the informal cooperation and relationship beyond formal cooperation and relationship. Research design, data, and methodology - We defined the research model and selected variables(monitoring and contracts by the buyer, formal cooperation & relationship, and informal cooperation & relationship). After completing the questionnaire, we analyzed 319 manufacturing companies. Prior to the hypothesis testing, Exploratory factor analysis(EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis(CFA) were conducted to check for discriminant validity and convergent validity. Results - The stronger the buyer monitoring on the company's CSR activities, the more positive it affects the formal business cooperation. On the other hand, strong buyer monitoring did not affect formal business relationships. Therefore, even if buyers' monitoring of CSR activities is strong, it does not mean that the formal business relationship is improved, but it means that it is possible to improve the formal business cooperation. Conclusions - This study shows that the stronger the buyer monitoring on the supplier's CSR activities, the more positive it affects formal cooperation. It also demonstrates that formal business cooperation between the supplier and the buyer, that is, sharing goals and works for CSR activities, has a positive effect on relationships based on emotional exchange and commitment.

The purpose of this study is to investigate what fields of library cooperation system should be resolved and to find out a resolution. A survey are used for research method. The contents of survey is about operating performance and main obstacles of cooperation among other libraries. The results show that most of respondents estimated need of cooperation among libraries and operating performance of cooperation was poor. The system needs to be changed. The problems are insufficiency of budget and personnel. two different types of operating body, insufficiency of standard and committee for cooperation system, delayed speed of integrated retrieval system, limitation of sharing of information about users, insufficiency of user's and librarian's recognition of cooperation system. This study proposes improving method through developed model on cooperation system.
In this day and age physical and cyber boundaries have converged due to the development of new technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and the Cyber Physical System (CPS). As the relationship between physical system and cyber technology strengthens, more diverse and complex forms of risk emerge. As a result, it is becoming difficult for single organization or government to fully handle this situation alone and cooperation based on information sharing and the strengthening of active defense systems are needed. Shifting to a system in which information suitable for various entities can be shared and automatically responded to is also necessary. Therefore, this study tries to find improvements for the current system of threat information collecting and sharing that can actively and practically maintain cyber defense posture, focusing particularly on the structuring of information sharing platforms. To achieve our objective, we use a risk communication theory from the safety field and propose a new platform by combining an action-oriented security process model.
This study provides a model of inter-Korean economic cooperation suggesting that economic cooperation should be centered on industrial cooperation. As an independent economic zone, the two Koreas will go through a gradual and functional process of cooperation. Also, economic convergence through 'openness and integration' of both markets is a pre-requisite of successful economic integration on the Korean peninsula. This success of the process requires industrialization of North Korea. This study suggests a model of 'the Corea Industrial Development Community on the Korean Peninsula. It aims to support industrialization of the North Korean economy as well as promotion of South Korea's SME competitiveness. It would help meet the demand for improvement of living conditions of North Korean people. Main policy measures includes: 1) co-effort to develop North Korea's provincial industrial zones, 2) upgrading North Korea's 'Jangmadang' into a highly efficient distribution market. Finally, through the construction of the Joint Industrial Development Zone, it is necessary to create a production sharing module for both Korea's industries.
