In the US, there are no governing bodies within the federal executive departments dedicated to the arts and cultural affairs. Direct government subsidies for the arts are relatively small compared to other countries with a comparable economy and standard of living. Nevertheless, the US produces artworks, artists, and arts groups, leading the world's arts and culture. Incorporating the concepts of network governance and shared governance, this paper examines the dynamic roles and interrelationships among various for-profit/nonprofit arts organizations, foundations, councils, service organizations, arts advocacy groups, and professional/amateur associations from the federal to local levels that compose the ecology of American arts and culture. Through our evaluation, we conclude that the local/state/federal arts agencies and arts organizations at various levels influence each other via the principle of subsidiarity and isomorphism, creating a unique cultural policy and arts-supporting system that correspond to the political and social structure and environment of the United States.

This study estimated mode choice models for access travel and neighborhood travel from an SP survey in metropolitan areas where shared e-scooter services are offered. Model results show that travel time and travel cost have negative effects on mode utility. It is also revealed that people are more sensitive to travel time in access travel, whereas they are more influenced by travel cost in neighborhood travel. Looking at individual and household attributes, it has a positive effect when under 40 yerars of age, owning bikes, being a public transportation user, while it has been shown a negative effect in less than 3 million won in monthly household income and owning individual cars.

This paper presents the convergence time, SER(Symbol Error Rate), MSE(Mean Square Error), hardware complexity and step-size(${\mu}$) about various LMS(Least Mean Square) algorithms in FS-DFE(Fractionally Spaced-Decision Feedback Equalize) for Cable Modem based on MCNS(Multimedia Cable Network System) DOCSIS(Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) v1.0/v1.1 standards. We designed and simulated using ${SPW}^{TM}$ and synthesized using STD90 library through ${SYNOPSYS}^{TM}$. And also, we adopted the time-multiplexed multiplication and tap shared architecture in order to achieve the low hardware complexity. Simulation results show that DS-LMS algorithms[1][3] is the optimum solution about performace and hardware size. in high order QAM applications. Finally, we achieved area saving about 58% using DS-LMS algorithm compare with conventional equalizer architecture.

At the center of the repeating evolution of IT industry, there is mobile computing in the ubiquitous environment, and the increasing usage of smart phones contribute more to its growth. P corporation co-developed with Google and implemented smart work system called SWP for the purpose of 'communication and collaboration with co-workers' beyond the general goal of increasing productivity and comfort of employees. The primary objective of this study is to objectively analyze the influence of the effect factor from end user's perspective and user satisfaction on SWP usage, intention for continuous usage and individual performance. To accomplish this research purpose, this study established research models and hypothesis by collective review about information system success models, and tested the research hypotheses using the structural equation modeling technique by data collected from 320 SWP system users of P corporation. Variations for system satisfaction evaluation standard are 1)SW system usage 2) intention for continuous usage 3) individual performance, effect variations are 1) social factors 2) technical factors 3) combination of social and technical factors. Therefore, this study is about influence factors on success of SWP system and how the factors impact the outcome. The test results of this research model is summarized as follows. Firstly, system user's satisfaction had positive impact on all three; SWP system usage, intention for continuous usage and individual performance. Secondly, social factor 'SWP control system' and technical factor 'information quality' and 'system quality' had positive impact on SWP system user satisfaction, while social factor 'shared value' and technical factor 'service quality' did not have significant effect on user satisfaction. Shared value however, had interactive effect with 'information quality' and 'service quality'. This study is expected to contribute to spread of academic research on smart work system by suggesting a model that can show important factors for corporation while explaining the successful implementation of SWP and its continuous usage.

This study was aimed to examine the prescribing patterns of antivirals in outpatients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB), using National Health Insurance adjudicated claims data (total 1,426,065 claims) dated March 19, 2008 submitted from nationwide healthcare providers to Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service. From the data, there were 2,965 claims with CHB diagnosis (ICD-10 code B18.0 and B18.1), and 44.2% (1,311 claims) of the CHB related claims included antivirals such as lamivudine, clevudine, adefovir and entecavir. Lamivudine, adefovir, clevudine and entecavir shared 54.9%, 19.9%, 13.2% and 11.9%, respectively, among antiviral prescriptions. Adefovir and entecavir 1mg presumed as the 2nd line therapy for HBV resistant cases were shared 23.3% of overall antiviral prescriptions. There were statistically significant difference in prescription patterns according to age and institution type: Lamivudine usage was higher in younger (< 20 years old) and older age group (> 70 years old) than the others (p = 0.016), and adefovir and entecavir, which were relatively newer antivirals, had higher prescription rates in higher level of institutions such as tertiary hospitals than the others (p < 0.001). This study would be of help to make an appropriate drug therapy plan for patients with CHB.

We propose ESS_WMCE. This paper explains the design and implementation of the EDSS running on ESS_WMCE. EDSS is a synchronization error control system for web based multimedia collaboration environment. We have an error detection approach by using hooking method. The technique of an error transmission is a mended model of utilizing an application sharing system. DOORAE is a good framework model for supporting development on application for computer supported cooperated works. It has primitive service functions. Service functions are implemented with an object oriented concept. It is a system that is suitable for detecting and sharing a software error rapidly occurring on web based multimedia collaboration environment by using software techniques. It is able to share an error as well as providing URL synchronization to access shared objects. When an error occurs, this system detects an error by using hooking methods in MS-Windows API(Application Program Interface) function. If an error is found, it is able to provide an error sharing to access shared objects.

With the development of information technology, Small office Home office(SOHO) is picking up. SOHO generally uses Wi-Fi. The wireless LAN environment using 802.11 protocol is easily affected by DoS attacks. To deal with these threats, there is Wireless Intrusion Detection System(WIDS). However, legacy products of WIDS cannot be easily used by SOHO because they are expensive and require management burden. In this paper, Smart WIDS for SOHO is proposed and implemented on Raspberry Pi2. And, it provides the interface for attack detection notice to android smart phone. Smart WIDS detects Masquerading DoS and Resource Depletion DoS based on IEEE 802.11 so that we notice the attempt of cracking Pre-shared Key(PSK), Man-In-The-Middle(MITM), and service failure.

This paepr proposes a shared medium access control protocol for hgih-speed multimedia services of distributed subscriber home and small-sized business ATM networks. This protocol offers not only global fairness for the whole network at the same time, but also local fairness for different prioritytraffics on each node. Considering that the future B-ISDN service si a mixture of real and non-real time traffic data, this protocol is designed to accommodate the real time service, by controlling the priority of the real and non-real time data. The simulation results show that the proposed protocol has better performance than the other protocols.

Brand Extension is a leading marketing strategy that makes use of brand assets, and it aims to see the success of a new product of a brand by utilizing the level of consumers' brand awareness, loyalty, resemblance, and image. However, the review of previous studies revealed that there were cases of fashion brands extending into coffee brands, but not vice versa. The study aims to suggest a new proposal to extend the coffee brand, the most preferred brand by consumers, to an effective office space service. It proposes making a napping and working area for the working Starbucks lovers who often go business trips and like to work in a private space. The researcher expects that the study will inform about the efficient manner to use office spaces including shared service and area.
