가동형 차양 시스템의 구성과 에너지 효율 (Implementation and the Energy Efficiency of the Kinetic Shading System)

  • This study aims at examining kinetic efficient shading systems and their implementation methods. These days, the importance of the shading devices are getting more significant due to the energy problem. Cordially, suitable shade designs are required as an important element for the exterior envelope of the building. This study employs the optimal shading design as an efficient shading method with the kinetic system that can be converted actively by the altitude of the sun. The proposed kinetic shading system works not only as a lightshelf in case the altitude of the sun is high but also as a vertical louver when the sun is getting lower in order to block the direct sunlight. This study has analyzed the thermal performance and shading coefficient of the kinetic shading system in comparison to existing fixed shading devices using the Ecotect. The results, in sum, conclude that the suggested kinetic shading system could decrease direct sunlights 26.2% more than the existing shading methods.

  • 지열을 이용한 열펌프 시스템이 온실의 냉방과 과채류의 묘소질에 미치는 영향을 구명하였다. 온실 내 기온은 주간에는 차광구에 비해서 포그+차광구가 $3{\sim}4^{\circ}C$ 낮았고, 야간에는 지열-펌프+차광구가 차광 및 포그+차광구에 비해 $5{\sim}7^{\circ}C$ 낮았다. 오이, 고추 및 토마토 묘의 초장은 차광이나 차광+포그구에 비해 지열-열펌프+차광구가 가장 짧았고, 엽면적과 건물중은 지열-열펌프+차광구가 다른 처리에 비해 약간 작았다. 결과적으로 건묘지수는 지열을 이용하여 냉방을 한 지열+차광구는 포그+차광구 및 차광구에 비해 모두 높게 나타났다.

  • In this paper, we say the adaptive shading correction system supporting multi-resolution for mobile camera. The shading effect is caused by non-uniform illumination, non-uniform camera sensitivity, or even dirt and dust on glass (lens) surfaces. In general this shading effect is undesirable [1-3]. Eliminating it is frequently necessary for subsequent processing and especially when quantitative microscopy is the fine goal. The proposed system is available on thirty nine kinds of image resolutions scanned by interlaced and progressive type. Moreover, the system is using forty kinds of continuous quadratic equations instead of using the piece-wise linear curve which is composed of multiple line segments. Finally, the system could correct the shading effect without discontinuity in any image resolution. The proposed system is implemented in VLSI with cell library based on Hynix $0.25{\mu}m$ CMOS technology.

  • The envelope is important for sustainable building. Recent commercial buildings are causing thermal degradation and cooling load due to the increase of the area of the windows. Therefore, this research studied kinetic shading system which can improve energy saving and visual environment in summer. For that, this study proposed new shading system and shape considering the orientation of the building and the location of the sun. Based on this, this study analyzed the effectiveness on energy reduction and improvement of visual environment by applying the kinetic shading system proposed in this study. As the results of this study, energy reduction rate was 35% in the east, 22.9% in the south, and 30.7% in the west depending on the application location. Also, as the result of the illuminance analysis, it was found that the effect of achieving uniformity ratio of illumination was considerable.

  • Agrivoltaic System (AVS) was introduced with the concept that it could generate electricity by using the extra light remain after crops use for photosynthesis in farm, which can earn additional income. However, crop yield was declined under the AVS condition due to the decrease in light energy. In the past, many researchers have been studied about crop states under shading conditions. However, the phenomenon of partial shading such as under the AVS is not well studied. In this study, to figure out the response of crop under the different light conditions, the electron transport rate (ETR) and non-photochemical quenching (NPQ) of rice was investigated using the chlorophyll fluorescence measurement. Also, physiological changes of crops under the shading conditions were investigated. The growth experiment under partial shading under AVS and overall shading which made of 35% shade cloth was conducted to understand the eco-physiological responses of rice to light in terms of the photosynthesis. Under the shading conditions, SPAD value and chlorophyll contents were higher, but the leaf thickness was lower than control. The overall shading condition show lower ETR than others during the growing season. In contrast, NPQ was higher than other treatments. This means the available light energy cannot contribute to photosynthesis under the shading condition.

  • Zero energy building is a self sufficient building that minimizes energy consumption through passive elements such as insulation, high performance window system and installing of high efficiency HVAC system and uses renewable energy sources. The Korea Government has been strengthening the building energy efficiency standard and code for zero energy building. The building energy performance is determined by the performance of building envelope. Therefore it is important to optimize facade design such as insulation, window properties and shading, that affect the heating and cooling loads. In particular, shading devices are necessary to reduce the cooling load in summer season. Meanwhile, BIPV shading system functions as a renewable energy technology applied in solar control facade system to reduce cooling load and produce electricity simultaneously. Therefore, when installing the BIPV shading system, the length of shadings and angle that affect the electricity production must be considered. This study focused on the facade design applied with BIPV shading system for maximizing energy saving of the selected standard building. The impact of changing insulation on roof and walls, window properties and length of BIPV shading device on energy performance of the building were investigated. In conclusion, energy consumption and electricity production were analyzed based on building energy simulations using energyplus 8.1 building simulation program and jEPlus+EA optimization tool.

음영조건을 고려한 공동주택 옥상 태양광모듈의 배치계획 평가 연구 (Evaluation on the Photovoltaic Module Arrangement Planning Considering Shading Conditions in Apartment Buildings)

  • During the initial design stage of apartment complex, the photovoltaic(PV) system has been considered as an alternative of renewable energy system and planned to install at the rooftop floor level in general. The electric power generation characteristics can be influenced by the block layout, building orientation and roof top structure because of azimuth angle, tilt angle, and partial shading. This study aims to investigate power generation characteristics of photovoltaic system in apartment buildings by considering the partial shading conditions due to the block layout, building orientation and roof-top structures. For the photovoltaic module arrangement planning in rooftop floor level, shading areas were firstly analyzed due to the adjacent building structure. And the annual and seasonal power generation of PV system were analyzed through the PVsyst simulation results. The results show that shading period at the roof top surface can be increased due to the parapet and water tank. Initial design power capacity can be decreased by considering the daily insolation period and distance between PV modules through the shading simulation. As the number of PV modules decreases, the annual power generation can be decreased. However annual power generation per unit area of PV modules can be increased and performance ratio can be increased above 80%. Also the power generation of PV system can be critically affected by building orientation and the performance ratio can be drastically decreased in east-oriented buildings due to the shading problems caused by adjacent structures at roof top level such as parapet and water tank.

전면적차광과 부분차광이 콩 엽록소 형광 반응에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Overall Shading and Partial Shading on the Response of Chlorophyll Fluorescence of Soybean)

  • 광은 식물 광합성에 반드시 요구되는 에너지이다. 차광의 종류를 전면차광과 부분차광으로 구분하고, 각각의 차광 조건에서 생육한 콩의 엽록소 형광을 관측하여 광합성능을 평가하였다. 전면차광에서는 SPAD값으로 대표되는 엽록소 농도와 광이용효율을 표현하는 ETR (Electron Transport Rate)이 크게 낮아졌다. 차광 박스 제거 후에 SPAD와 ETR 모두 대조구와 같은 정도가 되었으나, 열 소산 기작을 나타내는 NPQ (Non-Photochemical fluorescence Quenching)는 높아졌다. 이렇게 전면차광을 겪었던 콩의 광이용효율은 회복했지만, 높아진 NPQ가 광인산화 효율을 떨어뜨리므로 실제 노지 광합성량은 필연적으로 낮아질 것이다. 부분 차광에서도 SPAD와 ETR이 대조구와 큰 차이를 보이지 않았으나, NPQ는 높은 모습을 보였다. 따라서, 도시 농업 또는 영농형 태양광과 같은 부분차광 조건의 광합 성량은 단순히 작물의 광이용효율과 누적 광 에너지량으로 계산한 추정값보다 작을 것으로 예상된다.

경량 태양광발전 블라인드 개발 및 제어조건에 따른 음영분석 (Developing the Light-weight PV Blind System and the Shading Analysis by the Control Conditions)

  • This study aims to develope the light-weight PV blinds with windows and to investigate the shading analysis by the control conditions. For the study, the polycarbonate characteristics and coating methods are analyzed and the PV blind design for a small office is suggested. Also, the mock-up model of a suggesting system was made. The field tests were controled based on a solar altitude under clear sky conditions. As results, it is necessary to use a polycarbonate instead of a tempered glass for a light-weight PV. The shading effects of blind systems are high in slat angle $30^{\circ}$ and low in $0^{\circ}$. Also, the shading ratio is more affected by solar latitude than solar altitude. The shading change rate is relevantly constant on the solar altitude.

여름철 수시차광에 의한 온실 환경변화가 오이의 광호흡, 엽온, Thermal breakdown 등 생육에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Greenhouse Climate Change by Temporary Shading at Summer on Photo Respiration, Leaf Temperature and Growth of Cucumber)

  • 본 연구에서는 여름철 고온기 시설재배시 수시차광이 내부환경과 오이 생리적 반응에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 온실차광이 오이의 고온 스트레스 완화 정도를 추정하기 위하여 잎 온도, 엽기온차, 최대 카르복실화속도, 최대 전자전달 속도, 열파괴, 광호흡과 같은 오이의 생리적 반응을 측정 분석하였다. 오이 시설하우스의 차광율은 90% 수시차광, 40% 수시차광, 무차광 3수준의 실험 조건으로 하였다. 90% 수시차광은 외부 일사량이 650 W·m-2일 때 차광되도록 하였다. 기온, 일사량, 엽온, 엽기온차, 광호흡은 90%의 수시차광에서 40% 수시차광과 무차광 처리 보다 낮은 값을 나타내었다. 최대 카르복실화속도, 광호흡율은 90% 수시차광 온실이 다른 처리구보다 유의하게 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 고온저항성을 나타내는 thermal breakdown 값은 90%의 수시차광에서 다른 처리구 보다 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 90% 수시차광이 여름철 오이 재배에 있어 고온스트레스를 덜받는 생육환경을 조성하였다는 결과를 얻었다.
