울릉도민의 이주과정에 대한 인구사회학적 고찰 (The Process of Migration Among Ulleung Island Residents)

  • 이 연구는 울릉도 주민의 이주와 정착에 관한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 역사적인 문헌 자료와 현지조사 자료를 통해 오늘날 울릉도에 거주하고 있는 사람들의 이주와 정착과정을 울릉도의 사회ㆍ문화ㆍ정치적 현상들과 연관지어 분석하였다. 이를 통해 울릉도 초기 개척령 당시의 주민들은 어떤 경로를 통해 울릉도로 들어왔으며, 어떤 과정을 거쳐 정착하였는지, 인구의 증가와 감소 현상이 단순한 것이었는지, 아니면 당시 울릉도나 본토의 정치, 경제, 문화적 상황과 어떠한 연관성을 맺고 있는지를 밝혀 보고자 한 것이다. 연구의 결과 울릉도민의 이주동기는 혼란한 육지의 사회ㆍ정치적 상황을 피해 울릉도로 이주한 사회ㆍ정치적 동기와 경제적인 안정을 찾아 이주한 경제적 동기 그리고 범죄 행위에 대한 도피처로 울릉도를 선택한 범죄적 동기 등 크게 3가지로 나누어진다. 이러한 정착과정을 거치면서 울릉도는 하나의 독특한 사회로 발전하였다.

Clinical Significance of Radiological Stability in Reconstructed Thoracic and Lumbar Spine Following Vertebral Body Resection

  • Objective : Vertebral body replacement following corpectomy in thoracic or lumbar spine is performed with titanium mesh cage (TMC) containing any grafts. Radiological changes often occur on follow-up. This study investigated the relationship between the radiological stability and clinical symptoms. Methods : The subjects of this study were 28 patients who underwent corpectomy on the thoracic or lumbar spine. Their medical records and radiological data were retrospectively analyzed. There were 23 cases of tumor, 2 cases of trauma, and 3 cases of infection. During operation, spinal reconstruction was done with TMC and additional screw fixation. We measured TMC settlement in sagittal plane and spinal angular change in coronal and sagittal plane at postoperative one month and last follow-up. Pain score was also checked. We investigated the correlation between radiologic change and pain status. Whether factors, such as the kind of graft material, surgical approach, and fusion can affect the radiological stability or not was analyzed as well. Results : Mean follow-up was 23.6 months. During follow-up, $2.08{\pm}1.65^{\circ}$ and $6.96{\pm}2.08^{\circ}$ of angular change was observed in coronal and sagittal plane, respectively. A mean of cage settlement was $4.02{\pm}2.83mm$. Pain aggravation was observed in 4 cases. However, no significant relationship was found between spinal angular change and pain status (p=0.518, 0.458). Cage settlement was seen not to be related with pain status, either (p=0.644). No factors were found to affect the radiological stability. Conclusion : TMC settlement and spinal angular change were often observed in reconstructed spine. However, these changes did not always cause postoperative axial pain.

도로 하부지반에서 발생된 공동이 지반 안정성에 미치는 영향에 관한 수치해석 (Numerical Analysis on the Influence Factors of Cavity Occurrence in the Stability of the Underground with Cavity)

  • 본 연구에서는 공동이 발생된 도로 하부지반에서의 영향인자 분석과 지반의 안정성을 평가하기 위하여 다양한 영향인자(공동형상 및 규모, 포장층 두께, 교통하중의 크기)를 고려한 유한요소 수치해석을 수행하였다. 본 연구에서 적용된 수치해석 방법 및 결과에 대한 신뢰성을 검증하기 위하여 기존 연구 및 현장계측 결과와 비교·분석하였다. 수치해석 결과로부터 얻은 연직변위분포, 지표침하분포 및 침하량, 응력비 분포, 안전율 분포를 통해 영향인자 간의 상관관계를 분석하였으며, 도로 하부지반의 전반적인 역학적 거동 분석을 통해 지반의 안정성을 평가하였다. 그 결과, 공동규모 및 교통하중이 증가하고 포장층 두께가 감소할수록 공동 상부의 연직변위 및 지표침하량이 크게 나타났으며 허용안전율 미만의 위험지반영역이 증가하여 지반의 안정성 감소가 크게 나타난 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 공동의 형상이 사각형일 경우 원형의 공동일 때보다 지반의 안정성 감소가 크게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 공동이 발생된 도로 하부지반의 전반적인 안정성에 대해 확인할 수 있었다.

모래다짐말뚝의 원심모델링 (Centrifugal Modeling of Sand Compaction Pile)

  • This paper is results of extensive centrifuge model experiments about design factors influencing the bearing capacity and the settlement behaviors of SCP (Sand Compaction Pile). Centrifuge model tests were carried out changing design factors for SCP method such as replacement area ratio (as= 20, 40, 70%), improvement ratio to footing width (W/B = 1, 2, 3), and amount of fines in sand pile (#200 = 5, 10, 15). Therefore, the effects of these design factors on the bearing capacity and the settlement behavior of SCP were investigated and changes of stress concentratio rato due to such an design factors were also investigated. Centrifuge model testing technique for preparing and installing centrifuge model of sand compaction pile, using freezing them, was also developed. As results of centrifuge model tests, more fines in sand compaction pile increases the bearing capacity of SCP. Optimum improvement ratio to footing width was found to be 2. Values of stress concentration ratio was in the ranges of 1.5 - 3.5. The depth of bulging in sand piles was found in the range of 2.0 - 2.5 times of pile diameter.

  • Rapid industrialization and urbanization caused by the high economic growth of the country requires optimization of land usage as well as the expansion of underground space. Therefore the construction of large and deep basements is inevitable in built up areas where the braced excavation for earth retaining structures may create many problems such as settlement and damages of nearby buildings and underground utilities. In this work, some of major influential factors concerning the stability of braced excavation are investigated and the results are compared with the field observation results. The ground water table, applied strut forces, horezontal wall displacement, infilling materials in the rock joints were found to be the most critical factors influencing the stability of braced walls constructed in the layered ground. Magnituide and type of the wall deformation was closely related to the pattern of the surface settlement. The stability of braced walls are described in terms of strut forces.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop indices and a scoring method for effectively evaluating the project of rural well-longevity villages which makes up for insufficient parts of existing projects on improving settlement foundation and production environment. Evaluating indices include qualitative factors originated from the characteristics of the project so a scoring method based on an information measure technique is used for evaluating the results from each village. Evaluating indices are provided differently depending on each purpose for evaluation. Result indices can be used for ranking project villages and fundamental indices can be used to analyze villages elaborately to improve project plans.

어촌 소멸위험의 영향 요인 분석 (The Analysis about Factors Affecting of Extinction Risk in Fishing Village)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a policy improvement plan by analysis of the extinction risk factors reflecting the specificity of fishing villages, fishing village support policies, and settlement conditions of fishing villages as one of the solutions to the immediate problem of fishing village extinction. The results of the study show the higher the level of number of fishing ports, number of returning rural population, and housing diffusion rate, the dependent variable extinction risk index was a positive effect while vacant house ratio and aged house ratio was analyzed to be in was a negative (-) relationship with the dependent variable.The policy implications through this study were to prepare an effective policy to reduce the risk of extinction, to improve urgent settlement conditions, and to prepare a condition to convert returning rural population into fishery population.

공유수면 매립지내 폐석회 매립시설의 추가성토에 따른 장기침하 거동 분석 (Analysis of the Long-term Settlement Behavior Due to the Additional Embankment on the Waste Lime Landfill in Public Waters Reclaimed Land)

  • 최근 환경적 문제로 공유수면 매립사업이 감소추세에 있으나 매립사업의 특성상 일률적인 지표로 환경성을 평가하는 데 한계가 있다. 이 연구에서는 공유수면 매립지의 토질역학적 침하거동 인자를 활용하여 폐석회 매립시설의 침하 안정성을 분석하였다. 1차 압밀특성 인자로부터 폐석회는 압밀이 진행중인 점토특성과 유사함을 확인하였다. 매립지 지층을 얇은 토목섬유 보강재로 보강된 층상구조로 가정하고, Westergaard 방법에 따른 응력증가량을 이용하여 침하량을 예측하였다. 압밀도에 따른 침하량을 예측한 결과 연약지반의 표층이 토목섬유로 보강된 경우 보강되지 않은 경우보다 응력증가량이 40% 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 폐석회의 소성지수와 내부마찰각의 상관관계를 이용하여 점토와 폐석회의 압밀거동 특성을 비교하였다. 공유수면 매립지내 폐석회는 압밀이 진행중인 상태이므로 장기적으로 침하는 더 증가하는 경향을 보일 것으로 예측되었다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라의 현행 소방력기준과 소방력배치 현황의 실태에 대하여 분석한 결과를 바탕으로 우리나라의 취락유형별 소방력배치의 개선방안을 제안하는 것이다. 우리나라의 취락유형별 소방력배치 및 운용을 위하여 현행 표준정원제 중심의 소방력배치 기준에 대하여 구체적인 인력산출 기준을 분석한 다음, 통계분석방법을 사용하여 전국의 시와 읍을 유형별로 분류하고, 표준화지수를 도입하여 취락유형 별로 소방환경과 소방수요를 반영할 수 있는 소방력배치의 기준을 제안하였다.
