지구과학 예비교사들은 '수업'에서 무엇을 보는가? -예비교사들의 수업 경험과 비평을 통해서- (What Do Earth Science Pre-service Teachers See in Class? -Through Pre-service Teachers' Experiences and Criticism of Class-)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 지구과학 예비교사들이 수업 시연을 평가하며 좋은 과학 수업이 무엇이라고 생각하는지 알아보는 것이다. 연구는 우리나라 중부지방에 위치한 교사 양성 대학에 재학 중인 대학교 2학년 학생 32명을 대상으로 진행되었다. 32명의 예비교사들은 2인 1조로 수업을 시연하여 총 16회의 수업이 시연되었다. 또 자신의 수업을 제외한 15회의 수업에 참여하면서 수업을 평가하였다. 이렇게 수집된 평가지는 모두 480장이었다. 이 평가지를 분석하여 지구과학 예비교사들이 생각하는 좋은 과학수업에 대해 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 예비교사들의 좋은 과학 수업에 대한 관점은 3개 범주 9개의 주제 묶음으로 분석할 수 있었다. 3개의 범주는 '참여도가 높은 수업', '잘 구성된 수업 설계', '양질의 수업자료'이었다. 즉 예비교사들은 잘 짜여진 수업 설계, 활발한 상호작용이 좋은 과학 수업의 요건으로 생각하고 있었다. 이 연구는 예비교사들이 수업 시연 및 수업 평가의 경험을 통해 좋은 과학 수업에 대한 이미지를 그려갈 수 있다는 것을 확인시켜 주었다.

  • 이 연구는 초등 예비교사들이 과학수업을 설계할 때 무엇에 주목하는지 알아보는 것이었다. 초등 예비교사들의 응답을 분석한 결과, 초등 예비교사들은 과학탐구를 강조하는 수업, 학생의 흥미, 수준, 오개념 처치를 고려한 수업, 일상생활과 밀접한 수업에 주안점을 두며 과학수업을 설계하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 특히, 초등 예비교사들은 실험 및 탐구를 강조하는 과학수업 설계에 대해 많은 언급을 한 것으로 보아 탐구를 강조하는 것이 과학수업 설계에서 중요한 점으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 예비교사들이 탐구를 강조하는 것과 같이 과학교육의 중요한 측면을 인식하고 있는 점은 매우 긍정적이라고 할 수 있다. 더불어 예비교사들의 교사 전문성 계발을 위해 교사 및 동료와의 협업을 통한 수업설계 및 실연 기회를 늘려가야 함을 제안한다.

미래 과학교육에 대한 예비 초등 교사들의 인식 (The Perspectives of Pre-service Elementary Teachers on Science Education of Future)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the perspectives of pre-service elementary teachers on science education of future by using Draw-A-Science-Teacher-Test Checklist and open-ended questionnaire. The subjects of this study were 136 pre-service elementary teachers. The results of the research are as follows. The pre-service teachers thought that the physical environment reflecting the latest science and technology for science education will be developed in the future. However, few respondents indicated that student-centered equipment or a free and creative classroom environment would be provided. Second, they predicted that there would be changes in teacher's activities due to the introduction of advanced facilities and equipment, but most of the other teachers' activities were thought to be similar to those of current teachers. Third, the pre-service elementary teachers thought that a variety of new technologies would be used in science education and science teachers would mainly teach high-technology, IT technology, science knowledge, and newly discovered science concepts. In addition, we found that pre-service elementary teachers' images were more 'teacher-centered' than 'student-centered'. These results show that pre-service elementary teachers are expected to utilize the latest science and technology actively in science education in 2030 and that it will lead to changes in the physical environment, teachers' activities, education contents, and teaching and learning methods. In addition, they viewed acquisition of science concept as an important goal of science education in the future and had different points of view from the current science education curriculum and scholars' emphasis on educational research for the future.

Activation of Ontact Research Using Science & Technology Knowledge Infrastructure ScienceON

  • As data-based research activities and outcomes increase and ontact or non-face-to-face activities become common, the demand for easy utilization of resources, tools, functions, and easily accessible information required for research in the R&D sector has increased accordingly. With the rapid increase in the demand for collaborative research based on online platforms, research support institutions strive to provide venues for research activities that merge various information and functions. ScienceON, an integrated science & technology (S&T) knowledge infrastructure service developed and operated by the Korea Institute of S&T Information (KISTI), supports open collaboration by connecting and merging all the information, functions, and infrastructure required for research activities. This paper describes the online research activity support tool provided by ScienceON and the remarkable results achieved through this activity. Specifically, the excellent creation of the following flow of meta-material research activities in the ontact space is elucidated. First, the papers required for a meta-material analysis are retrieved, virtual simulation is conducted with the experimental data extracted from the papers, and research data are accumulated. ScienceON's tools for supporting ontact research activity will play a role as an important service in the era of digital transformation and open science.

주서비스와 보조서비스를 갖는 시스템 설계 (A Design Problem of a System Working at Both Primary Service and Secondary Service)

  • In this paper, we consider a system working at both primary service and secondary service. A server can switch between the primary service and the secondary service or it can be assigned to secondary service as a dedicated server. A service policy is characterized by the number of servers dedicated to the secondary service and a rule for switching the remaining servers between two services. The primary service system is modelled as a Markovian queueing system and the throughput is a function of the number of servers, buffer capacity, and service policy. And the secondary service system has a service level requirement strategically determined to perform the service assigned. There is a revenue obtained from throughput and costs due to servers and buffers. We study the problem of simultaneously determining the optimal total number of servers, buffers, and service policy to maximize profit of the system subject to both an expected customer waiting time constraint of the primary service and a service level constraint of the secondary service and develop an algorithm which can be successfully applied with the small number of computations.

예비 및 현직 초등교사의 STS 상호작용에 대한 신념 (Pre-service and In-service Elementary School Teachers의 Beliefs about 575 Interactions)

  • The purpose of this study is to consider pre-service and in-service elementary school teachers' beliefs about STS (Science-Technology-Society), by investigating their opinions on STS interactions. 222 of the seniors in Jinju National University of Education, namely pre-service elementary school teachers, and 185 of the active teachers in Kyung-Nam Province were selected as the objects for researching these matters. Their beliefs about STS interactions were examined. The results were analyzed with a percentage as an examining tool of TBA-STS(Teachers' Beliefs about Science-Technology-Society). The results were as follows; First, on the nature of science, most of them showed simple opinions. On the nature of technology, most of them also showed simple opinions. most of them recognized the interactions among science, technology, and society affirmatively. They showed simple opinions on the interactions between science and technology. In fact, they didn't recognize the interactions between science and society, but they knew the influence of technology on society relatively concretely. Second, if one consider the cognitive situation or the distributing route of STS, he can easily find that most teachers never or little know it. At present, pre-service teachers learn STS from the lectures in their universities, and in-service teachers get information about it from science magazines/newspapers and training.

초등 예비교사의 과학 교수에 대한 태도 조사 (A Survey on Pre-service Elementary Teachers' Attitudes towards Science Teaching)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate pre-service elementary teachers' attitudes towards science teaching using 'Dimensions of Attitude Toward the Teaching of Science (DAS)'. After confirming the factors and reliabilities of the translated questionnaire by pilot test (N=68), the survey was administered online at one national university of education in Korea (N=527). The pre-service teachers generally thought elementary science education is important and did not believe gender difference in students and in teachers. Science education majors than other majors, males than females, and those who completed high school science track than humanity track had more positive attitudes toward science teaching in elementary school. The extent of teacher education curriculum completion had a little effect on the pre-service teachers' attitudes toward science teaching. The implications for teacher education were discussed.

포트폴리오 활용이 예비 과학교사의 반성적 사고에 미치는 영향에 관한 내러티브 탐구 (Narrative Inquiry on Effects of Portfolio Application on Pre-service Science Teachers' Reflective Thinking)

  • 이 연구는 포트폴리오 평가가 예비 과학교사의 반성적 사고에 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 예비 과학교사들의 포트폴리오에 나타난 내러티브 탐구를 활용하였다. 또한 내러티브에 나타난 예비 과학교사들의 반성적 사고 차원과 수준을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 학기 초에 예비 과학교사들의 반성적 사고는 대부분 초점 차원인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 반성적 사고의 수준은 즉각적이고 기술적이었다. 학기 말에 실시된 분석 결과에서는 예비 과학교사들의 반성적 사고가 질문 차원과 변화 차원으로 점차 확대되었다. 대부분 대해 이 연구의 결과는 예비 과학교사들의 반성적 사고를 높이기 위해 교사교육과정에 포트폴리오 평가를 적극적으로 도입할 필요가 있음을 시사하고 있다. 반성적 사고의 수준은 대화적이고 변혁적인 수준으로 높아졌다. 예비 과학교사들은 포트폴리오를 작성하는 데 어려움을 겪은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 그들은 포트폴리오 활용에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하는 것으로 응답하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 예비 과학교사들의 반성적 사고를 높이기 위해 교사교육과정에서 포트폴리오 평가를 적극적으로 도입하는 것이 필요하다는 점을 시사하고 있다.

  • In spite of the development of the service industry, research on measuring customers' service satisfaction is far insufficient. Therefore, ways to measure the service quality accurately need to be established due to the ambiguous types of service business. This research classifies the types of service business into service factory, service shop, mass service, professional service by using Schmenner's Service Process Matrix and conducts research on domestic literature that measured service satisfaction with Servqual and ServPerf. This study intends to suggest guidelines to measure customer satisfaction according to types of service business by researching ways to measure service satisfaction according to the types of service business and analysing the actual application methods based on a table that summarizes previous research on Servqual and Servperf.
