Development of Location Based System using Indoor Lenticular Sticker (실내 렌티큘러 스티커를 이용한 위치기반 시스템 개발)

  • The lenticular Location Based System is related to a location information technology. The system enables users to inform their location in real time wherever in a room, a building, a ship, a basement. In this paper, we analyze limitations and problems of the existing indoor Positioning System and propose a method of user-oriented location service. The proposed method consists of a lenticular sticker, a database(DB) acquisition and analysis technology. The proposed system can be used as an infrastructure to implement various indoor location-based services. In addition to improve user centered positioning accuracy through the development of location-based systems using indoor lenticular systems, it can be used in a disaster situation.

  • We propose ESS_WMCE. This paper explains the design and implementation of the EDSS running on ESS_WMCE. EDSS is a synchronization error control system for web based multimedia collaboration environment. We have an error detection approach by using hooking method. The technique of an error transmission is a mended model of utilizing an application sharing system. DOORAE is a good framework model for supporting development on application for computer supported cooperated works. It has primitive service functions. Service functions are implemented with an object oriented concept. It is a system that is suitable for detecting and sharing a software error rapidly occurring on web based multimedia collaboration environment by using software techniques. It is able to share an error as well as providing URL synchronization to access shared objects. When an error occurs, this system detects an error by using hooking methods in MS-Windows API(Application Program Interface) function. If an error is found, it is able to provide an error sharing to access shared objects.

  • Recently, we developed a new subway train with many cooperative companies. The main controller of the subway train is Control and Monitoring System (TCMS), so we conducted requirement analysis of TCMS considering system performance, easy maintenance and service oriented flexibility. Hence, we adopted new bus architecture and QNX as a Real-time Operating System (RTOS) and developed hardware systems. The functions of TCMS are employed into two computers, service computer and control/monitor computer, to increase on their performance and to yield easy maintenance and to satisfy customer needs. The TCMS controls and monitors control devices equipped in the train through various protocols which are implemented in hardware. In order to evaluate the performance of the system and to satisfy reliability, various experiments including EMC/ECI were performed. Now the TCMS is installed on the newly developed train and is under performance evaluation through test driving.

  • Recently, the number of elderly living alone suffering from loneliness and depression is also increasing significantly due to the rapid aging of the population and nuclear families. In this paper, we propose a smart aging system that increases life satisfaction by providing the elderly with the optimal service tailored to the elderly with the help of IT according to their residential environment and health status. It is possible to provide an advanced customized support system for the elderly by fully utilizing IoT, AI, and Metaverse techniques not only for the elderly who want to live an active life in society but also for the elderly who need care in a nursing hospital. The proposed system provides human satisfaction by providing social connection in real space and virtual space in accordance with the residential environment and health status to the elderly suffering from loneliness in hospital (hospital care) facilities and at home. This paper proposes a new path for future-oriented welfare policy for the elderly by providing a user-customized smart aging system by combining AI and Metaverse technology with a rapidly changing social environment.

Value Chain Analysis of Geospatial Web Service for VGI Application (사용자 참여형 공간정보 웹서비스의 가치사슬분석)

  • The fact that the limits of information recency, diversity, and usability are mainly caused by the supply oriented geospatial data and service development is commonly recognized. It is recently tried to overcome the limits by facilitating user experience and VGI(Volunteered Geographic Information) in several geospatial web services. This study suggests 10C framework of geospatial web service for VGI through review and examination of previous research. Based on the 10C framework, the value chain system of 23 use cases relevant to the geospatial web service involving the creation of user's VGI is investigated. The result of the value chain analysis is applied to examine and formulate the strategies to generate value addition from public spatial information with respect to creation, aggregation, delivery, and consumption process of VGI.

  • Implementation of patient feedback is considered as a critical part of effective and efficient management. This study is a retrospective survey after to ensure the medical convergence analysis of contents on customer dissatisfaction using medical services. The data were collected from dissatisfaction 319 case at a affiliated hospital. The result indicate that a repeat visit than the initial visit, outpatients were more dissatisfied than the inpatients. The type of dissatisfaction were more dissatisfied of the in communication and explanation of medical service, nursing service and procedure of administrative services. In the classification of disease the percentages of dissatisfaction in the digestive system and neoplasm were high in both groups(p<0.05). Based on the study to improve the quality of medical service. Prevent the recurrence of dissatisfaction and to establish a customer-oriented business strategy. Characterized by dissatisfaction factors and contents of each patient and should be structured to specific disease types of services through continuous medical convergence research.

A Study on the establishment of VOC system in compliance with the shift in customer trend (소비자트렌드 변화에 따른 VOC시스템 구축에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this research is showing an appropriate way of maximizing customer service and establishing VOC system by analyzing different voices from complaining customers as well as loyal customers. This research is also aimed at figuring out how companies can implement effective service marketing methods in the field complying with customers' needs and how they can survive in the competition. The range of research is confined to 5 marketing companies and their web-sites on which customers can get logged and directly post their claims. These web-sites showed how those 5 companies cope with customer claims. A questionnaire research was made in A's store to evaluate customer satisfaction. These are conclusions drawn by this research. First, prompt reactions of sincerity to customers' claims contribute to building favorable corporate images. Second, the preference to VOC channels varies with age and sex. Marketers should implement respectively different channels for customers under age 30 and those over age 40. Women have a tendency to prefer instant phone conversations and want to have their claims well listened to. Third, a series of shift in customer trend drives companies into establishing their own interactive VOC systems based on customers' preferences. Customer-oriented management has become a key factor for survival in recent intensely competitive market situation, as the web-based e-commerce market has been rapidly growing accompanied with a dramatic advance of network marketing methods. This research suggests some practical methods to establish a customer-oriented VOC system that can be easily adopted in the field.

Pharmaceutical Care Services of Community Pharmacies in Korea Through the Review of Literature (문헌자료 고찰을 통한 우리나라 약국서비스 시행 현황)

  • Background: The recent change in pharmaceutical education system following the paradigm shift to patient-oriented pharmacy service requires an in-depth discussion to reorganize a future direction and establish a basis for maximizing social values of community pharmacy service. Objective: This study was conducted to review the current status of community pharmacy service provision in Korea based on published literatures. Methods: The electronic databases of National Digital Science Library and Electronic National Assembly Library were used to search the journal articles and dissertation papers. A search term "community pharmacy" was used and the published period was limited to papers published after year 2001, when the legal separation of prescribing and dispensing was implemented. Relevant study reports were also searched manually. Information about pharmacy service provision and study outcomes were retrieved from the selected papers, and classified by predefined individual service scope. Results: A total 33 papers reporting services provided by community pharmacies were selected (journal article 11, dissertation paper 17, and study report 5). Pharmacy services identified in these papers could be classified into prescription dispensing service, pharmaceutical care service, self medication service, other products service, and health promotion service. Twenty papers reported prescription dispensing services, three papers reported pharmaceutical care service, and only two papers reported health promotion service. Current community pharmacy services are highly dependent on prescription drugs while expanded services such as pharmaceutical care and health promotion are peripheral. Most prevalent research topic was medication counseling service (18 papers), reflecting that community pharmacists generally consider it to be the most important and fundamental service. Overall, current pharmacy services are very limited and focus on prescription dispensing service. Conclusion: At this point of time requiring expansion and quality improvement of community pharmacy services, we suggest further lively discussion to strengthen pharmacist's functional identity and set conditions for providing socially expected services.

Development of a Mobile Service Application for Assessing the Quality of Food that uses the Information marked on the processed Food Labels (가공식품라벨 표시정보를 활용한 식품 품질 평가 모바일 서비스 앱 개발)

  • This research was developing a mobile-based service system through which consumers can collect labeled information on processed foods. This research collected and analyzed the labeled information of processed foods sold on the market and found that they contain abstruse standards for the information of raw nutrients and additives and are not proper for our database. Thus, to offer proper consumer-oriented information, we reclassified the information according to categories such as raw materials, additives, and nutrient information based on the food information standard of the current Food Sanitation Act, and added it to the database. Using this reprocessed information, this study developed an algorithm and applied it to a mobile-based service system, which allows consumers to use information on the labels of processed foods scientifically and clearly.

  • Network virtualization technology is a crucial research issue of Future Internet which pursues a service-oriented architecture so-called NaaS (Network as a Service) or SDN (Software Defined Network). Network virtualization is expected to play an important role in Future Internet researches as a network testbed technology which enables innovative protocols to be experimented independently on a common testbed environment. We propose a control framework in order to provide user defined topology and bandwidth services with network virtualization and to separate and manage multiple-user traffics in a small and medium scale - single domain research network. The proposed framework (VIMS; Virtual network Integrated control and Management System) supports testbed expansions without any changes of heterogeneous virtual network support equipments through accommodation of each equipment's control plane. The framework shows a feasibility through applied to KOREN and we describe the differences and further study directions for improvement the framework comparing with GENI control framework.
