In this paper, we investigate the scheduling algorithm of router system for Internet service based on the qualify-of-service (QoS) level of the input source traffics. We suggest an approprite scheduling algorithm in order to satisfy their QoS requirements for the loss-sensitive traffic and delay-sensitive traffic. For this purpose, we first study the service requirements of the multiplexer in Internet and the definition of QoS based on the ITU-T white recommendations. Second. we suggest a functional architecture of the multiplexer and the scheduling algorithm to satisfy various QoS requirements for Internet service. Finally. the performance measures of interest, namely steady-state packet loss probability and average delay, are discussed by simulation results.

Egg has been considered as one of the most important food sources in both nutritionally and economically. However, because the hazards of egg flow chains' complexity from producers to consumers and the insufficiency of cold chain systems in Korea are still remained, preventive measures for egg safety should be established. This experiment was carried out to investigate the changes of egg qualify during storage in order to find out the proper storage condition and eggshell treatment. Eggs were stored at cold condition $(5^{\circ}C,\;relative\;humidity;\;RH:\;65\pm3\%)$ and room Condition $(1st: Sep\; 6\~Nov\; 15,\;2001,\; 10\~30^{\circ}C,\;RH\;41\~86\%,\;2nd;\; Dec\;13,\;2001\~Feb\;21,\;2002,\;4\~23^{\circ}C,\;RH\;36\~89\%)$ after eggshell treatment (unwashed, washed and coated egg) during'10 weeks and examined weight loss and interior quality periodically. Weight loss was in decreasing order room washed > room unwashed > cold washed > cold unwashed > room coated > cold coated egg. And, Haugh unit was decreasing order room washed > room unwashed > room coated > cold washed > cold unwashed > cold coated egg. Our findings show that both coated eggs and refrigeration reduces the rate of decline in Haugh units and egg weight. And, washed eggs had lower average Haugh units and a higher weight loss than any of the eggshell treatment in both storage conditions. Conclusively, for washing eggshell, 150 ppm of sodium hypochlorite, regular exchange and temperature control of water should be consistent and also eggs should be dried immediately after washing. Also, national guidelines for temperature and moisture of storage places, transportation and expiration data should be established to keep quality and weight loss of eggs. Storage temperature that is a critical factor in the quality and safety of eggs should be kept under 12'c and labelling of expiration date should be obligatory.

Quality has long been considered as an important factor in creating competitive advantage, and researches on quality have not been limited to off-line products but actively extended to e-services and information goods. However, given the nature of multi-dimensional aspect of quality, the systematic study on the quality of online service is still in its early stage. Especially, studies on the quality of ASP services have been rare in academic and professional journals despite the growth of ASP industry in its size and the rapid expansion in the range of application. In this paper we clarified the multi-dimensional quality aspects of the ASP service using a Garvin's framework (1984) which encompasses the service aspects of Products, and developed a measurement model for ASP service qualify. Then we empirically tested the effects of ASP service quality on user satisfaction and perceived firm performance using the data from 240 Korean small firms with less than 50 employees that had experienced the ASP service. Our results show that there are positive relationships among ASP service quality and personal performance, user satisfaction and perceived firm performance, and that product and service-related aspects of ASP service exert differential effects on performance measures so that the product-related aspects of the ASP service such as performance, features, reliability and conformance are considered to be more important in evaluating benefits from ASP services. Contrary to the approaches In literature where only the quality of online services is evaluated, our results emphasize the importance of differentiating Product and service-related aspects of ASP service and provide a basis for more comprehensive evaluation of ASP service quality.

The growth of bacteria on the surface of the meat was monitored to investigate the relationships between microbiological quality and some environmental factors such as the chilling temperature, alcohol spraying, and transport in slaughter process of pigs. The temperature changes of the surface and inner part of pork carcass were monitored with GreenTrack$\textregistered$ system during the process of chilling and transport Of the 100pigs tested, the prevalence of level on number of standard plate count (SPC) less than $10^4$ CFU/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and Escherichia coli less than $10^2$ CFU/$\textrm{cm}^2$ in pig were 82% and 80%, respectively. Suface bacterial numbers are decreased in the course of chilling process of the carcass. Alcohol spray process before packing meat also could decrease the surface bacterial count. In conclusion, this study could be overemphasized the importance of relationship between microbiological quality and refrigerating temperature in the process of refrigeration and cutting.

This study presents the application of quality management systems in Library, Korea. The purpose of this study is to build a framework of improving the management system and planning and performing the service of high quality in Library. To achieve this goal, a theoretical approach was tried through the previous study and the performed with the subject of the 4 steps by Damming' quality management theory. This study may enable domestic organizations to draw up a concrete and practical plan in Library.

We propose a new resource management scheme, Distributed Channel Allocation Protocol (DCAP), for multimedia Ad Hoc Wireless LANs (AWLANS). This scheme implements a Qualify-of-Service (QoS) providing distributed resource management on the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing-Code Division Multiple Access (OFDM-CDMA) channel architecture. According to the performance evaluation results for MPEG traffic sources, DCAP can be a good choice of resource management scheme for AWLANs supporting multimedia services on the Broadband Wireless Access(BWA)-type physical layer.

This paper presents a direction that can help PC sales manager establish more effective marketing strategy by understanding how they get information on the products and what they consider most when the consumers purchase personal Computer. The survey was conducted on the two groups of OSAN College students classified according to their computer handling skill. Frequency analysis has shown that consumers largely got information on the products through word of mouth of friends or family members rather than mass media advertisement. And factor analysis has shown that consumers consider the qualify of after service has brand name most when they buy PC. Particularly, the consumers who are good at dealing with PC are more concerned with the quality of after service, brand name, salesman's kindness and delivery-installation than the ones having poor PC skills are. This survey results indicate that PC sales managers need to set up different marketing strategies in accordance with the consumer's PC utilizing capability.

This paper is for EPC(Evolved Packet Core) network to share the load balance by IMSI(International Mobile Subscriber Identity) prefix in MME(Mobility Management Entity). For the telecommunication, it needs to choose the anchoring gateway to use the specific gateway to avoid the traffic load to support the efficient telecommunication service. We propose the way to choose the effective gateway to avoid the traffic load in order for good qualify service. We compare the load between the gateways which are the general gateway and the specific gateway used by proposed concept.

Most published work on product quality focuses on manufactured goods. The subject of service quality has received less attention. This distinction is important because some of the quality-improving strategies avaliable to manufacturers may be inappropriate for service firms. Services are performances, not objects. They are often produced in the presence of the customer, as in the cause of hotel restaurant services, quality occurs during service delivery, usually in an interaction between the customer and contact personnel of service firm. for this reason, service quality is highly dependent on the performance of employees, an organizational resource that cannot be controlled to the degree that components of tangible goods can be engineered. The study has begun as a basic study for customer satisfaction-oriented management in understanding the service quality of food & beverage products and through a systematic analysis of it. The major purpose of the study was to examine the relationship of the customer satisfaction and service quality in consideration of reliability, empathy, responsiveness, tangibility and assurance. An empirical research was conducted based on the previous theoretical studies. 286 customer at first class hotels in Seoul were selected as samples of this study. The time period of research was from February through March 1999, and answers were processed by SAS to yield frequency analysis, multivariate statistical analysis and regression analysis. The finding of the statistical treatment are frequencies, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis, path analysis. SERVQUAL method was used the service quality evaluation methods. After factor analysis, it was resulted to 3 factors. those were factor 1(assurance.empathy.responsiveness), factor 2(reliability), factor 3(tangibility). The findings of the statistical treatment are as follows. First, the attribute measurement of performance service quality was affected by customer satisfaction. Second, the attribute measurement of performance service qualify was affected by repurchase intention. Third, The attribute measurement of performance customer satisfaction was affected by repurchase intention. The result of study model was followed, service quality was affected repurchase intention than customer satisfaction. indirected effect through, service duality and customer satisfaction was affected repurchase intention.

As Information society has expanded in large scale. In order to improve the reliability and Qos(Qualify of service), domestic IDC(Internet Data Center) has adopted or will adopt the SLAs(Service Level Agreements). The power quality of internet hosting server unit, power system and UPS is very important for better internet service. Therefore, the higher reliability of power system is imperative for satisfying SLAs. This paper presents the status measurement of domestic IDCs harmonics and illustrates the reduction effect of harmonics through the multi-phase.
