  • This paper describes a modeling of service composition manager based on TINA (Telecommunication Information Networking Architecture). The Service composition function is mainly motivated by the desire to easily generate new service using existing services from retailers or $3^{rd}$-party service providers. The TINA-C specification for the service composition does not include the detailed composition procedure and its object models. In this paper, we propose a model of components for the service composition, which adapts a static composition feature in a single provider domain. To validate the proposed modeling, we implemented prototype service composition function, which combines two multimedia services; a VOD service and a VCS service. As a result, we obtain the specification of the detailed composition architecture between a retailer domain and a $3^{rd}$-party service provider domain.

  • Service oriented architecture (SOA) lends itself to model the application components to coarse-grained services in such a way that the composition of different services could be feasible. Service composition fulfills numerous service requirements by constructing composite applications with various services. As it is the case in many real-world applications, different users have diverse QoS demands issuing for composite applications. In this paper, we present a service composition framework for a typical service overlay network (SON) considering both multiple QoS constraints and load balancing factors. Moreover, a service selection algorithm based on niching technique and particle swarm optimization (PSO) is proposed for the service composition problem. It supports optimization problems with multiple constraints and objective functions, whether linear or nonlinear. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm results in an acceptable level of efficiency regarding the service composition objective under different circumstances.

  • The advance in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and web services has led to the development of new types of a system in which heterogeneous service components can connect and compose to solve a complex business problem. In the SOA, even though these service components are valid in their functionality, there is a need to test their behaviors when those services are composited. In recent years, WS-BPEL has received a wide acceptance as a means of integrating distributed service components. To test the composite service, the existing testing techniques have been focused on the functional features based on the WS-BPEL process. However as SOA approach is applying to real-time software development, the performance of composite service becomes one of important issues. This paper proposes a technique to the performance testing of a composite service with WS-BPEL extension which combined with the concept of aspect. Our WS-BPEL extension has been made towards annotating aspect component which is measuring the response time of the composite service. This paper also explains the procedure of performance testing with on-line transaction system. Our technique can apply to choose an adequate component in service composition with considering the performance among several candidate web service components.

  • Recently, mobile banking service comes into the spotlight in the mobile environment. Considering design theory, this empirical study focuses on understanding the characteristics of mobile banking and measuring the priority of IT composition elements organizing the mobile banking service. That is, by empirically analyzing affecting factors of mobile service acceptance as an aspect of customer, this study would like to understand important factors of mobile banking use. The result of study will be used to strategic decision making for the company providing mobile banking service and great help to reinvigorate mobile banking service.

  • In this paper, we proposed the next generation mobile convergence service business model creation methodology. In order to establish such a business model creation methodology framework, we first introduce the service model based on our previous research results on next generation mobile convergence services. The service model contains several components such as infrastructures, operations, and provision of services that are indispensible for providing the next generation mobile services. Finally, by adding service and value flows to the developed service model, we propose the next generation mobile services business model creation methodology. To achieve this objective, we first derive necessary components of business model including actors, their relationships, and roles. In addition, we propose service composition methodology for creating new mobile services and its corresponding business models.

  • To make Web Services the real applications, the efficient mechanisms for Web Services discovery, Web Services composition and Web Services execution must be provided. Among these issues, especially, Web Services composition plays the key roles in Web Services applications that are loosely coupled and composed applications consisted of primitive Web Service components. In this paper we demonstrate a new Web Service composition approach using ontologies. We apply ontologies to describe Web Services information such as Web Services input/output parameters, pre conditions, post conditions and other necessary management information. In this paper, we also introduce Action ontology and Object ontology to describe the functional properties of Web Services These ontologies offer semantic description of Web Services functionalities beyond the limitation of the current WSDL. We can achieve semantic interoperabilities between heterogeneous Web Services in terms of conceptual processing and realize semantic services composition. We implement semantic Web Services composition system called Genie based on service description ontologies.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the difference of body composition, metabolic factor, and blood components according to job forms which are job period and job type and stress level for security guard workers. The conclusion is as follows. 1. There were lower level for the body fat with short term and higher level for the lactate with long term according to the job period. 2. There were lower level for the body fat with the field service and higher level for the lactate and stress with the field service according to the job type. In conclusion, it needs to have a continuous physical activity behavior for the security guard workers to manage for their effective health and to have a rest for the field service workers to decrease their physical and mental stress.

  • Components extracted from 7 species and 18 populations of Chrysosplenium in Korea were compared and analyzed using GC-MS analysis. 57 components (${\geq}80%$ quality) were identified, of which neophytadiene, palmitic acid and phytol were found at all the taxa. Percentage composition of isolated extracts showed a clear difference in components type and GC-MS profile. On the basis of that result, data matrix was made and cluster analysis using UPGMA was conducted. From the result of cluster analysis, two groups were recombined; one with alternate leaves comprised C. japonicum in Ser. Alternifolia and C. flagelliferum in Ser. Flagellifera and the other with opposite leaves gradationally comprised C. psuedofauriei in Ser. Sinica, C. ramosum in Ser. Oppositifolia and C. sphaerospermum, C. valdepilosum, C. flaviflorum in Ser. Pilosa. These chemotaxonomic results agreed in general with those of existing studies on external morphology and molecular. In conclusion, chemical composition can be an useful characters in understanding the relation analysis among interspecific and intraspecific complex with the help of cluster analysis of 7 species and 18 populations of Chrysosplenium in Korea.

  • Web services and their composition (web processes) are promising technologies to efficiently integrate disparate software components over various types of systems. As many web services are nowadays available on Internet, quality of services (QoS) and performance/cost become increasingly important to differentiating between similar service providers. In this work, we introduce sPAC (Web Services Performance Analysis Centre) and show how customers can benefit from sPAC to consider performance in composing and commercializing web services. sPAC 1) helps users to graphically describe the workflow of web services, 2) invokes web services to test out performance for light load conditions, 3) automatically converts the web services and the flow between them into a simulation model, 4) conducts extensive simulations for heavy load conditions and various usage patterns, and 5) reports analysis results and estimation data for the web services.
