Service Satisfaction and Continuous Use Intention on Omnichannel-Based Pickup Service

  • Purpose: This study aims to present individual motivation and channel characteristics affecting omnichannel service use, as well as the effect relationship of the brand factor on consumption value, service satisfaction, and continuous usability based on convenience store pickup service, one of online shopping customers' omnichannel use services. Primarily, this study divided consumption value into emotional value and functional value and examined the consumption value characteristics of omnichannel-based pickup service customers. Research design, data and methodology: A questionnaire survey was carried out targeting 324 consumers having the omnichannel-based pickup service user experience in online shopping in Korea. A confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis were carried out based on the structural equation to verify hypotheses. Results: According to the analysis result, individual motivation affected the emotional value, and the omnichannel characteristics affected functional value. The brand effect influenced both emotional and functional values. The emotional value affected continuous use intention, and the functional value affected service satisfaction. Conclusions: Therefore, consumers' emotional and functional values showed differences in consumption behavior. In online shopping companies' marketing strategy construction for omnichannel, it was confirmed that a differentiated approach is needed depending on the strategic goal of satisfaction improvement and continuous use intention consolidation.

SNS 정보 활용이 치과의료기관 이용의사에 미치는 영향 (Influence of social network service(SNS) information on intention to dental office use)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of social network service(SNS) information on intention to dental office use. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 410 users of social network service between twenty and thirty years old in Seoul and Gyeonggido after receiving informed consent from July 1 to August 3, 2015. The questionnaire consisted of general profiles of the subjects(6 items), use of dental office(3 items), use of SNS(3 items), use of dental SNS(4 items), use of general SNS(6 items), application of dental SNS(6 items), and intention to dental office use(2 items). Except 8 incomplete answers, 402 data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program. Results: The first choice of dental office was recommendation by the acquaintances. There were close correlations between the use of SNS information and the use of general SNS information according to sex(p=0.016) and the frequency of SNS(p=0.012). The use of SNS for dental information showed a meaningful correlation with sex(p=0.003). The intention to use was influenced by sex(p=0.016) and the use of SNS for dental information(p<0.001). Conclusions: The important factor of visit intention to dental service was recommendation by the acquaintances through SNS. The appropriate advertisement of visit intention is very important to improve dental health care.

스마트폰 서비스 사용에서 지속적 사용 의도에 미치는 애착의 영향에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Influences of Attachment Perspectives toward Continued Use Intention in Smartphone Service Usage)

  • Smartphone services seem to be appealing to people worldwide and show rapid growth in mobile service market. Based on the theoretical framework like attachment theory and self-congruity theory, we developed the research model and proposed six hypotheses. An analysis of 113 smartphone service users found that continued use intention in smartphone services is affected by uses' attachment to the service. We also found that the attachment is significantly increased by self-congruity, customization, and perceived usefulness. Our aim was to gain insight into ways of creating an environment that facilitating continued use intention of smartphone services. This study has important implications for academic researchers and practitioners who seek to understand why smartphone service users continuously use their smart phone services. Other practical implications of these findings and future research implications are also discussed.

Chinese Female Consumers' Intention to Use Mobile Payment Services

  • Purpose - This study intended to investigate ways to influence on the Chinese female consumers' use of mobile payment services. For this purpose, this research investigated the relationships among security and compatibility of the mobile payment service, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, psychological benefit, and intention to use mobile payment. Research design, data, and methodology - This research developed a structural equation model in which the usefulness, the ease of use, and the psychological benefit are predictors and the intention to use is a dependent variable. Data were collected from China female in Jiangsu and Shandong province. Results - Empirical results showed that the security and the compatibility had a positive influence on the usefulness and the ease of use. The usefulness and the ease of use influenced on the psychological benefit respectively and the psychological benefit had a positive influence on the intention to use. Conclusions - This research contributed to the mobile payment service literature by showing how Chinese women consumers adopt the mobile payment service based on TAM. Moreover, current study introduced the security and the compatibility as antecedents of the usefulness and the ease of use and revealed the mediating role of psychological benefit. Managerially, theses results suggested retailing companies ways to influence on the Chinese female consumers' use of mobile payment services.

구독경제 서비스 만족과 지속사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구: 이용동기와 플랫폼, 서비스 특성요인을 중심으로 (A Study on the Factors Influencing the Satisfaction and Continued Use Intention of the Subscription Economy Service: Focusing on Use Motivations, Platform & Service Characteristics)

  • 본 연구는 구독경제 서비스에 대한 만족과 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 다양한 변인을 확인하고자 하였다. 기존 연구 고찰을 통해, 개인 특성과 서비스 특성 변인을 함께 고려하고자 하였으며 최종적으로 서비스 이용동기, 플랫폼 특성요인과 제품 및 서비스 특성요인으로 구분하여 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 구독경제 서비스 만족도에 영향을 미치는 이용동기는 기능적, 유희적 경제적 동기로 나타났으며, 플랫폼 특성요인 중 플랫폼 최신성과 서비스 특성요인 중 편의성, 경제성, 인지된 개인화가 영향을 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 지속이용의도에는 기능적, 유희적 동기와 편의성이 긍정적인 영향력을 보였으며, 사회적 동기는 부적 영향력을 보였다. 또한 경제적 동기와 플랫폼 최신성, 경제성, 인지된 개인화는 구독경제 서비스 만족도를 매개하여 지속이용의도에 긍정적 영향력을 보이는 것을 확인하였다.

  • Wireless and mobile communication technologies enable individuals who trade stocks and bonds to use mobile-based trading services. Due to rapidly developing mobile technologies and adoption of the advanced/smart mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets, the use of mobile trading systems (MTS) have increased at an unexpected rate. Although many prior studies measured service quality on various service-related fields, there are few studies that is related to mobile trading systems compared to more traditional PC-based home trading systems. This research searches determinants of service quality for mobile trading systems and examines the effects of these factors on the intention to mobile trading systems' continuous use. Through an extensive literature review, this research finds three dimensions for mobile trading systems : interaction quality, service environment quality, and service outcome quality. The result of analysis shows that personalization, connectivity, ease of use, informativeness, and monetary value enhance the intention to continuous use. Considering environmental conditions such as the high rate of MTS adoption among individual users and stiffer competition among securities firms, these findings may help practically securities firms' shaping MTS system development strategies for individual users' continuous use and for increasing new users adoption.

간편결제 서비스 사용자의 사용만족과 지속사용의도에 관한 연구 - ECM과 UTAUT을 중심으로 (A Study on User Satisfaction and Continuance Use Intention of Mobile Easy Payment Service User)

  • As the easy payment service is popularized and the competition in the service market is fierce, research on factors affecting users' continuous use of the easy payment service is becoming increasingly important. However, in the existing studies, the discussion of the continuous intention to use the consumer's simple payment service has not been sufficiently conducted. Existing research remains on the way of listing technology and consumer characteristics. To bridge this research gap, this study aims to integrate and modify ECM and UTAUT to consider factors influencing the continuous use of easy payment services. The user's expectations and the confirmation were considered as important factors to decide. For empirical analysis, a survey was conducted for 236 users who had experience with domestic easy payment service. As a result, it was verified that confirmation, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and habit in regard to easy payment services are important for continuous use intention. Through this study, it is expected that the consumer's technology acceptance mechanism on the continuous use of simple payment will be grasped in more detail to develop academic discussions in the field. Implications from the results as well as limitations of the study are presented.

고령자의 디지털금융서비스 기술수용 연구: 고령자 기술수용모형(STAM)을 중심으로 (A Study on the Acceptance of Digital Financial Services Technology for Older Adults: Focusing on the Senior Technology Acceptance Model)

  • This study aims to analyze older adults's intention to use digital financial services. To verify the purpose, the '2022 Korean Senior Technology Acceptance Panel Survey' data were used. And a shortened Senior Technology Acceptance Model(STAM) reflecting the characteristics of older adults was applied. The results of Structural Equation Model analysis are as follows. First, the lower gerontechnology anxiety, the higher control beliefs reflecting perceived ease of use, self-efficacy and facilitating conditions and the intention to use digital financial services. Second, the health factor had a positive effect on the control beliefs. Third, the higher the control beliefs, the higher the attitudinal beliefs reflecting perceived usefulness and attitude and the intention to use digital financial services. Lastly, the higher attitudinal beliefs, the higher the intention to use digital financial services. The results suggest the need for interventions that can relieve gerontechnology anxiety and strengthen positive perceptions about control beliefs and attitudinal beliefs in order to increase older adults's intention to use digital financial services.

MZ 세대의 디지털 결제 서비스의 결정요인 (How to Foster Digital Payment Service for Millennials and Generation Z?)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore factors that affect millennials and generation Z customers' perception on intention to recommend to use the digital payment services and invesetigate factors that affect perception on sustainable growth of the digital payment services. This study applied the following research questions: i) how perceived brand value, easy to use, personalization, open to public, and social value affect intention to recommend to use the digital payment services and ii) how perceived public policy, promotional strategy, and prspects affect intention to recommend to use the digital payment services to others. This study conducted an online survey. This study applied factor, ANOVA, and regression analysis to test hypotheses. The results of this study found that effects of personalization, open to public, and social value on intention to recommend the service showed significance in the case of millennials, while effects of brand value, easy to use, and open to publis on intention to recommend the service showed significance in the case of generation Z. The results provide managerial and policy implications on how to apply better strategies and pepare policies to enhance adoption of the digital payment service in cases of millennials and generation Z.

서비스품질, 서비스가치, 만족, 관계의 질 및 재 이용의도의 구조적 관계 (Empirical Research on Structural Relationship among Service Quality, Service Value, Satisfaction, Relation Quality, and Re-Use Intention)

  • 본 연구에서는 전문서비스 점포에서의 서비스 품질, 서비스 가치, 고객만족, 관계의 질 및 재 이용의도에 관한 구조적 관계를 분석하여, 소비자와 서비스 제공자간의 관계형성에 관한 개념적 틀을 제시하고자 하였다. 실증분석 결과 서비스 품질은 선행연구들과 마찬가지로 서비스가치, 소비자 만족, 관계의 질 및 재 이용의도에 유의적인 정의 효과가 있었으며, 서비스 가치는 소비자 만족과 관계의 질을 긍정적으로 향상시켜주었다. 그리고 소비자 만족 및 관계의 질은 재 이용의도에 대하여 각각 직접적인 정의 효과가 있었으나, 서비스 가치의 재 이용의도에 대한 직접적 영향력은 유의적이지 못하였다. 특히 재 이용의도에 대한 제 영향요인들의 구조적 탐색결과 소비자 만족이 재 이용의도에 미치는 영향력보다 구매자와 공급자간의 상호작용에 의해 구축된 관계의 질이 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
