Classification System of material and Component Technology and Industry (부품ㆍ소재 정보를 위한 분류 체계 설계)

  • In this study, we establish technology classification system for twelve material and component(MC) areas to sup-port systematic information services for MCT-20l0 which is supported by Korean government. We propose some design principles for MC technology classification system. The principles are suggested by considering of the characteristics of MC classification, regarding with scope, originality, hierarchy, relationship between technology classification and product classification, duplication and complex structure, use of information system, and life cycle of the classification system.

  • Since my arrival on March 15, 1986 I can only give an overview of several topics which I think might stimulate ideas and questions from the members of this technical organization. These topics will include some thoughts about the Korean automotive industry, future needs regarding manpower and cooperation among manufacturers, the oil industry and the government. Korea is experiencing a tremendous growth not only in the export market but also in domestic sales of motor vehicles. This expansion will require trained manpower in many areas of expertise. This growth in technology and manpower will require a great degree of coordination and cooperation between companies and government to reduce duplication, minimize costs and reduce reliance on foreign technology.

  • In this paper, we propose a new framework for to identifying R&D opportunities in aging society. Our framework analyzes megatrend of aging society and then identifies technologies. The framework develops scenarios, creates product/service concept, derives technology theme for identifying specific technologies.

A Study On Comparison of Excellence between SERVQUAL and SERVPERV AL Scale

  • The purpose of this research is to compare whether SERVQUAL or SERVPERV AL scale is more excellent when explaining customer satisfaction and repurchase intention. The value of R2 which shows explaining power is used to test the excellence of the scale. As a result of comparison and analysis, SERVPERV AL scale showed better explaining power of customer satisfaction and repurchase intention than SERVQUAL. This result is because SERVPERV AL scale predicates overall estimation on utility of product/service.

  • UX (User Experience) Design was an interdisciplinary approach in humanities, engineering, science and design. We classified the roles of user experience; requirement analysis which are user research, constraints analysis and direction analysis, concept design, information architecture, physical UI, graphical UI, sound UI, Olfactory UI, prototype, evaluation, launch, localization, and knowledge management/UI DB. User research methods were classified by the relation of designer, user, and product/service. We reviewed three issues of UX design; complexity management, efficiency management, and mapping management.

  • Conjoint analysis is a widely-used statistical technique for measuring relative importance that individual place on the product's attributes. Despsite its practical importance, the complexity of conjoint model makes it difficult to analyze. In this paper, w consider a Bayesian approach using Jeffrey's noninformative prior. We derive Jeffrey's prior and give a sufficient condition under which the posterior derived from the Jeffrey's prior is paper.

  • Value Engineering has been recognized by many companies as a powerful and innovative techniques approach for cost down and improvement in function of product and service. Functional evaluation is the most important progress in VE activities. But it is often difficult to evaluate the function of a certain subject because the evaluation of function is very vague. This paper presents a new functional evaluation method using fuzzy theory. The purpose of this proposed method is the improvement in the precision of functional evaluation.

  • With the opening of the KTX in April 2004 and launching the KORAIL(Korea Railroad Corporation) in January 2005, KORAIL company brand and service product brand were unrecognized. Each brand is very important invisible assets in KORAIL and KORAIL affiliate companies because of their powerful perception of the customers. This study suggests that how to improve and manage KORAIL brand reputation and how can KORAIL employees differentiate other transportation system in the near future. To obtain more benefits using the brand strengthen strategy in KORAIL.

  • Revolutionary changes on multimedia, network and PDA(Personal digital assistants) causes PCB(Printed circuit beard) manufacturers to change their attitudes to product. Traditional idea for current market such as price, market, and service has collapsed down and new digitalization urges PCB manufacturers to deal with new technologies, shorter lead time with reasonable price, high qualities. Therefore PCB manufacturers have an effort to develop new marketing, products, processes for low cost to keep up pace with assembly makers.
