Development of geoData Aquisition System for Panoramic Image Contents Service based on Location (위치기반 파노라마 영상 콘텐츠 서비스를 위한 geoData 취득 및 처리시스템 개발)

  • geoContents have been closely related with personal life since the Google Earth and Street View by Google and the Road View by Daum were introduced. So, Location-based content, which is referred to geoContents, involving geometric spacial information and location-based image information is a sharp rise in demand. A mobile mapping system used in the area of map upgrade and road facility management has been having difficulties in satisfying the demand in the cost and time for obtaining these kinds of contents. This paper addresses geoData acquisition and processing system for producing panoramic images. The system consists of 3 devices: the first device is 3 GPS receivers for acquiring location information which is including position, attitude, orientation, and time. The second is 6 cameras for image information. And the last is to synchronize the both data. The geoData acquired by the proposed system and the method for authoring geoContents which are referred to a panoramic image with position, altitude, and orientation will be used as an effective way for establishing the various location-based content and providing them service area.

  • According to explosion of smart-devices, demands on N-screen services based on cooperation of multiple screens are rapidly increasing. These N-screen services can provide new user-experience (UX) to users. That is, it can provide technical advances to users. On the other hand, it causes new security problems. In this paper, we analyze conventional web-security attacks, and we propose and analyze new security requirements for migration, combination, and separation of web-contents based on N-screen service scenarios. Also, we develop N-screen cooperation service framework in order to ensure user security.

  • This study investigated the contents of twitters of metropolitans by year and city using language network analysis. The possibility of twitter as a medium of information provision was also explored. This study employed KrKwic, Ucinet6, and Netdraw programs to conduct language network analysis. As the results, the network was mainly formed with information about civic administration (citizen, management, opening service, participation) and information about citizens living (cultural events, parks, way to work) in 2014. However, information about civic service and announcement (citizen, civic opinion, opening service, civic service, events) occupied a central role in the network of 2015. The results showed that different keywords were derived by year and city in network analysis by city.

  • KISTI portal service is currently presenting the documents with many terminologies, so users can't find the results having their intention by using an umbrella query. In this paper, we suggest user oriented retrieval service that reflects query auto-complete, related-word suggestion and query expansion that uses nouns and relationships of U-WIN which is known as a semantic language resource. We intend to advance the retrieval satisfaction of current science & technology information service by using U-WIN's semantic information and improve the service environment that user can retrieve what they want quickly and exactly.

  • u-Healthcare integration between ICT and healthcare service is able to utilize effectively for people's healthcare anywhere and any time. The purpose of this study is to explore the perception and influence factors on intention to use u-Healthcare service of physicians and staffs working for medical institutions. Ninety eight(98) valid cases have been collected for this study. It is also analysed by SPSS 18.0 and SmartPLS 2.0M3. Empirical findings provide important insights as follows: firstly, performance expectation, effort expectation and social influence positively influence intention to use u-Healthcare service; secondly, perceived risk negatively influences usage intention, and finally, performance expectation, effort expectation and perceived risk are moderated by voluntariness.

Improvement of Smart Library Information Service System for SaaS-based Cloud Computing Service

  • For a library to be able provide information services and fulfill its function as a knowledge convergence center capable of responding to various information demands, the development of next-generation information systems based on the latest information and communication technology is needed. The development of mobile information services using portable devices such smart phones and tablet PCs and information systems which incorporate the concepts of cloud computing, SaaS (Software as a Service), annotation and Library2.0 is also required. This paper describes a library information system that utilizes collective intelligence and cloud computing. The information system developed for this study adopts the SaaS-based cloud computing service concept to cope with the shift in the mobile service paradigm in libraries and the explosion of electronic data. The strengths of such a conceptual model include the sharing of resources, support of multi-tenants, and the configuration and support of metadata. The user services are provided in the form of software on-demand. To test the performance of the developed system, the efficiency analysis and TTA certification test were conducted. The results of performance tests, It is encouraging that, at least up to 100MB, the job time is approximately linear and with only a moderate overhead of less than one second. The system also passed the level-3 or higher criteria in the certification test, which includes the SaaS maturity, performance and application program functions.

  • UCC comes into the spotlight as keyword to lead forward web business with appearance of web 2.0 that has characteristic of 'participation, opening and sharing'. Despite continuous magnification of UCC's influence by spread of prosumer that consuming public participates actively in production and development of new platform, there is no clear business model of UCC. So, inside and outside of the country industry is trying various effort to break this situation. As basis research for establishment business model of UCC, this paper wished to examine the prospects of development by analyzed present condition of UCC service. That is, it drew problems of UCC service after examine concept and type of UCC, direction technology development and profit model through analyzed foreign countries and domestic example of UCC's service. It wished to watch the development direction of UCC service from that.

  • We propose the scheme that supports continuously service when a user tries to contact new target network in broadband convergence network even though the network resource for the service is not enough. The proposed scheme transforms original service capacity into suitable QoS for the target network using the scalable service techniques in the oncoding/decoding and supports handover for the user. We analyzed the handover blocking probability of two schemes using queueing system to show the improvement of performance by the proposed scheme. Subsequently, we showed that the handover blocking probability in the proposed scheme is lower than that in the existing scheme.

  • It is important for scientific and technological papers to build citation DB and to offer service. The best example of citation DB is SCI that has been utilized in the world. The majority of Korean journals is not SCI journal, so it is impossible for the domestic journals to conduct quantitative analysis and performance evaluation. Korea Science Citation Index Service is the alternative service to get rid of the above problem. In the study, we carried out the user satisfaction survey for new vision of service from existing KSCI, correcting the result data. We evaluated the data and then derived the level of current system and the future improvement direction.

  • The WSDL is the specifications which defines the fact that must describe a web service how with the XML. It uses the WSDL and the client discovers a web service and the opening to the public function which the web service provides calling there is a possibility of doing. In this paper application shows the WSDL definition of a simple service providing Slip data process. The service supports a triple web method called WriteSlipXMLFromSql, WriteSlipXMLFromSqlProc, InsertSlipDataToDb which is deployed using the SOAP protocol over HTTP. In this paper, Our proposed web services are expected to contribute to constructing useful world wide web services which are essential in building E-Commerce society.
