Theoretical Examination of the Quality of Fashion Education Services (패션 교육 서비스 품질에 관한 이론적 고찰)

  • The present study, first, reviews theoretically previous studies about the concept and quality of services as well as tools to measure the quality. Second, it reviews theoretically previous studies about the concept and quality of special services as well as tools to measure the quality. According to the results of reviewing previous studies on service quality, it is considered that the variance among several researchers concerning the measurements of service quality is affected significantly by factors such as the procedures of data collection and analyses utilized in the studies. In addition, the fact that dimensions are different, or some dimensions are not independent, is highly likely to be based on the unique characteristics of business categories, in addition to research procedures. Accordingly, when measuring service quality in future studies, it may be desirable to adapt measuring tools partially for the characteristics of each service category, and to generalize the adjusted tools over the specific category. Especially studies on the quality of special service have been carried out in limited scope so far. Thus, it is required to develop and refine comprehensive and appropriate criteria and detailed questions to measure the quality of fashion education service. Furthermore, studies are necessary with regard to relations among relevant factors such as customers' satisfaction and perception on education service quality after they experience the services.

Factors Related to the Medical Service Performace of Health Subcenter Directors (보건지소 진료실적에의 관련요인)

  • This study was carried out by using questionnaires with 200 general doctors serving as the director of health subcenter in Kyongsangbuk-do Province as of January 1995. The results are summarized as follows. It was shown that the general characteristics consisted of 53 directors in the lst year(26.5%), 85 in the 2nd year(42.5%) and 62 in the 3rd year(31.0%). The percentage spent on their medical service showed that 73.0% of those directors spent more than 90% on their medical service. Based on their general service attitiude, 0% answered that the director of the health subcenter completes the given duties as the director, and 24.5% did that the director has the sense of responsibility and duty. Multiple answers concerning inconvenience and difficulties of the health subcenter director showed that less monthly salary accounted for 75.5%, no administrative power for 50.0%, insufficient medical instruments for 35.5%, insufficient budget for 30.0%, respect. In conclusion, in order for the health subcenter to meet the function as the primary medical clinic, it is required to arange the plans to inspire the public health doctors' service desire to that they can give the medical service as good as the private primary medical clinics, to convert existing concept of the public health doctors' placement in Myon administrative district into new concept in Gun by breaking from a uniform placement, and to consider an intensive placement according to the relevant projects so that preventive health activities can be planned and carried out.

  • Consumers' desire for beauty has become a driving force in the beauty service industry which was further developed through specialization and segmentation. Nail-care service, which is one of the beauty services, is showing rapid growth, and intense competition among salons has become apparent. Thus, service management method and marketing strategy are required for customer satisfaction. Therefore, in this study, we tried to classify the nail-care services on the basis of systematization and realization of its characteristics which are fundamental when developing management and marketing strategies. The subjects of this study were women in their 20s and above living in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon areas. As a result, the nail-care service factors are classified as "external environment" (interior, celebrity, newness), "internal environment" (equipment and products, cleanliness, and environment), "location" (location and transportation convenience), "reputation" (good reputation), "technician skill," "kindness," "relationship" (relationship, empathy, and affinity), and "price and discount." The consumer types of nail-care services were classified into three groups according to the degree of involvement of these concept systems. These results can be used as marketing basics and will be the basis for studying marketing strategies. However, the consideration of setting up a marketing strategy for each consumer type will be presented in a follow-up study.

Effects of Compassion Competence, Professional Self-concept, and Nursing Practice Environment on Caring Behaviors of Clinical Nurses in a Tertiary Hospital (일개 상급종합병원 간호사의 공감역량, 전문직 자아개념 및 간호근무환경이 돌봄 행위에 미치는 영향)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to examine the effects of compassion competence, professional self-concept and nursing practice environment on caring behaviors of clinical nurses. Methods: A convenience sample of 200 nurses was drawn from a tertiary hospital in G city. Structured self-report questionnaires were used to collect data, which were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: A significant difference in caring behaviors of nurses was found for age, educational level, and unit. There were statistically significant positive correlations between study variables. Sensitivity and communication of compassion competence, communication of professional self-concept, and nursing foundations for quality of care in nursing practice environment were significant predictors of caring behaviors, explaining 51.3% of total variance. Conclusions: To improve clinical nurses' caring behaviors, strategies must be developed and implemented for enhancing their compassion competence, professional self-concept, and nursing practice environment.

The Effects of Prior Knowledge and Development Procedure to Teaching Materials Developed by the Pre-service Earth Science Teachers-Focused on the Teaching Materials in the Schoolyard (예비 지구과학교사들의 선행지식과 개발 절차가 교수학습 자료에 미치는 영향: 교정에 적용할 수 있는 자료를 중심으로)

  • This study is to search the problems of schoolyard teaching material developed by pre-service earth science teachers and the critical factors affecting material making. The 258 schoolyard teaching materials was collected from 54 pre-service earth science teachers (male: 18, female: 36) major in Earth Science Education in Jeonju, Korea. The schoolyard teaching materials was greatly influenced by making process type of it and the prior knowledge of pre-service earth science teachers. As schoolyard preference exploratory type rely on their prior knowledge to develop the schoolyard teaching materials, they made use of the limited concepts like fault in material making. But the concept preference exploratory type made use of concepts not accessible to majority of pre-service earth science teachers because they selected a concept from the earth science textbook first of all. The pre-service earth science teachers having wrong prior knowledge selected inappropriate resources, as well as fell into the error of concept connecting. The pre-service earth science teachers having right prior knowledge partly considered only shape of resources, but had a disregard for formation process of it in material making. Accordingly, we need to reflect richly Geological Field Trip and Solid Earth Science to curriculum for earth science teacher education. And we have to educate pre-service earth science teachers to create holistic concept on the geological subject matter knowledge, field based teaching and learning strategy, material making process.

Service Model Research of Bicycle-sharing based on Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) (MaaS(Mobility-as-a-Service)기반 공유자전거 서비스 모델연구)

  • Mobility as a Service is a service conception to achieve the intelligent transportation system. Its aims to improve the travel experience. In one platform, it connects various transportation modes to offer service and users only need to pay in one time for the whole travel. But the single MaaS platform easily faces the problems such as low user traffic, low retention rate and the access to markets of the this service is still unfound. From the perspective of bicycle-sharing, this research makes the MaaS concept into bicycle-sharing to build a better service model. The bicycle-sharing combine with the MaaS concept is innovative in business model, travel model and service architecture. In addition, this research also tests users' expectations for service model. The research shows that MaaS-based bicycle-sharing could offer flexible and convenient travel experience in the aspects of combined transportation, travel, transfer and payment, and it also makes it possible to make travel services according to need, and sustainable transport.

Pre-Service Teachers' Understanding of the Concept and Representations of Irrational Numbers (예비교사의 무리수의 개념과 표현에 대한 이해)

  • This study investigates pre-service teacher's understanding of the concept and representations of irrational numbers. We classified the representations of irrational numbers into six categories; non-fraction, decimal, symbolic, geometric, point on a number line, approximation representation. The results of this study are as follows. First, pre-service teachers couldn't relate non-fractional definition and incommensurability of irrational numbers. Secondly, we observed the centralization tendency on symbolic representation and the little attention to other representations. Thirdly, pre-service teachers had more difficulty moving between symbolic representation and point on a number line representation of ${\pi}$ than that of $\sqrt{5}$ We suggested the concept of irrational numbers should be learned in relation to various representations of irrational numbers.

  • Recently, comprehensive financial service system based on individual, households' economic security and financial independence has emerged as a professional service system in America, while it has not been studied in our country. In order to develop conceptual model of Financial Service System, this paper reviewed ; 1) the concept of financial problem divided into tow dimension, such as financial resource and financial demand, 2) theories of financial service system, further this work also included the identification of relations between financial problem and financial service system.

Analysis of Elementary Pre-Service Teacher's Difficulties in Conceptual Understanding and Instructional Planning of Light Refraction (빛의 굴절에 대한 초등예비교사의 개념이해와 지도계획의 어려움 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the questions generated by elementary school pre-service teachers when reading the teacher's guide for the refraction of light, and to analyze the difficulties in understanding the concept and in making instructional plans. A total of 592 meaningful questions were generated by 283 elementary school pre-service teachers after reading the teacher's guide of 'light and lens' unit in the 6th grade of the 2015 revised curriculum. Of these, 306 questions are for understanding the concept of physics and 286 are pedagogical questions. As a result of the analysis, in terms of understanding the concept of physics, the elementary school pre-service teachers encounter difficulties in understanding the concept of the 'cause' of the phenomenon suggested in the textbook, such as the cause of refraction, the reason for scattering light, and the cause of the image change depending on the focal length of the convex lens. In terms of instructional planning, it was followed by questions about how to explain concepts, questions about not being able to explain concepts to elementary school students and having to teach only phenomena, specific explanation methods for specific concepts, and experimental methods. Although the teacher's guide contains various explanations and supplementary materials to help teachers understand the concept, it can be seen that there are many elementary pre-service teachers who cannot answer questions about some concepts even after reading the guide. For concepts with a high frequency of questions, it is necessary to prepare a tutorial that is more understandable. In the instructional plan, there were many questions about teaching methods and experimental methods, so it is necessary to provide more examples and specific experimental methods for explaining concepts in the teacher's guide.
