  • As the technology developed, the system is being developed as the structure that is adapted to the intelligent environment. Therefore, the existing situation information system couldn't provide satisfactory service to the user as it provides service only by the information which it received from the sensor. This paper analyzed the problems of the existing user intention awareness system and suggested user intention awareness system to provide a stable and efficient service that fits to the intention of the user compensating this. This paper has collected the behavior data based on the scenario of the sequential behavior course of the user that occurs at breakfast time in the kitchen which is the home domain environment thai is closely related to our lives. This scenario course also showed the flow that the goal intentional user intention awareness system acted that it suggested, and showed the sequential course processing the user behavior data by tables and charts.

  • From the state table of sequential machines, Roomers) obtained minimal k co-mapping chain(k-CC) and proposed an algorithm obtaining binary partitions which were seed partitions of S-shift registers. By comparing and processing bits simply, this paper obtained two different algorithms more efficient than that of Roome's for obtaining such binary partitions and defined the concept of the triple pair of the basis partitions. By using the concept, given set of basis partitions was reduced to the set containing elements of the triple pair only and the algorithm became quite simple.

  • In this paper, we propose a content-based audio genre classification algorithm that automatically classifies the query audio into five genres such as Classic, Hiphop, Jazz, Rock, Speech using digital signal processing approach. From the 20 second query audio file, 54 dimensional feature vectors, including Spectral Centroid, Rolloff, Flux, LPC, MFCC, is extracted from each query audio. For the classification algorithm, k-NN, Gaussian, GMM classifier is used. In order to choose optimum features from the 54 dimension feature vectors, SFS (Sequential Forward Selection) method is applied to draw 10 dimension optimum features and these are used for the genre classification algorithm. From the experimental result, we verify the superior performance of the SFS method that provides near $90{\%}$ success rate for the genre classification which means $10{\%}$-$20{\%}$ improvements over the previous methods

  • In this study we described Binary-Decision Method Programmable Controller that is faster than conventional Programmable Controller (P.C) using the Boolean method. An algorithm for the optimal BD program was systematically developed by using the incomplete multiple output function and the residual characteristic function. The potential applications of BD programmable controller for the problems of industrial control were illustrated, which include on-off sequential control function and also the tasks involving continuous data processing and PID control. An example was presented that has shown how BD programmable controller and ICU (Industrial Control Unit) controller can be applied to the sequential logics.

  • A flexible die, which is composed of a number of punches with adjusted heights to form a three-dimensional curved surface, is a crucial part of a flexible forming technology. In this study, the punch and control system of the flexible die were designed. The flexible die is divided into three modules, namely, punch, control and joint, and the corresponding modules were developed. The punch module materializes a three-dimensional forming surface by the control module, which is composed of an AC servo motor set and a linear guide. The joint module is necessary for the sequential motion between the servo motor set and the punch module. A sequential motion algorithm for the AC servo motor set, that uses the data of the punch relative heights, was also proposed. Finally, a flexible stretch forming test was carried out using the presently designed flexible die.

  • When interacting with unknown environments, an autonomous agent needs to decide which action or action order can result in a good state and determine the transition probability based on the current state and the action taken. The traditional multiple sequential learning model requires predefined probability of the states' transition. This paper proposes a multiple sequential learning and prediction system with definition of autonomous states to enhance the automatic performance of existing AI algorithms. In sequence learning process, the sensed states are classified into several group by a set of proposed motivation filters to reduce the learning computation. In prediction process, the learning agent makes a decision based on the estimation of each state's cost to get a high payoff from the given environment. The proposed learning and prediction algorithms heightens the automatic planning of the autonomous agent for interacting with the dynamic unknown environment. This model was tested in a virtual library.

  • We designed a portable parallel library HPCL(High Performance Computing Library) with following objectives: (1) to provide a close relationship between the parallel code and the original sequential code that will help future versions of the sequential code and (2) to enhance performance of the parallel code. The library is an interface written in C and Fortran programming languages between MPI(Message Passing Interface) and parallel programs in Fortran. Performance results were determined on clusters of PC's and IBM SP4.

  • A process of choosing a subset of original features, so called feature selection, is considered as a crucial preprocessing step to image processing applications. There are already large pools of techniques developed for machine learning and data mining fields. In this paper, basically two methods, non-feature selection and feature selection, are investigated to compare their predictive effectiveness of classification. Color co-occurrence feature is used for defining image features. Standard Sequential Forward Selection algorithm are used for feature selection to identify relevant features and redundancy among relevant features. Four color spaces, RGB, YCbCr, HSV, and Gaussian space are considered for computing color co-occurrence features. Gray-level image feature is also considered for the performance comparison reasons. The experimental results are presented.

  • Oxide (RTO), nitrided-oxide(NO), and reoxidized-nitrided-oxide(ONO) films were formed by sequential rapid thermal processing. The film composition was investigated by Auger electron spectroscopy(AES). The Si/SiO2 interface and SiO2 surface are nitrided more preferentially than SiO2 bulk. When the NO is reoxidized, [N](atomic concentration of N) in the NO film decreased` especially, the decrease of [N] at the surface is considerable. The weaker the nitridation condition is, the larger the increase of thickness is as the reoxidation proceeds. The elelctrical characteristics of RTO, NO, and ONO films were evaluated by 1-V, high frequency (1 MHz) C-V, and high frequency C-V after constant current stress. The ONO film-which has 8 nm thick initial oxide, nitrided in NH3 at 950\ulcorner for 60 s, reoxidized in O2 at 1100\ulcorner for 60 s-shows good electrical characteristics such as higher electrical breakdown voltage and less variation of flat band voltage under high electric field than RTO, and NO films.
