In this paper, zero sequence equivalent circuit of Yg-Yg three phase core-type transformer is analyzed. Many problems by iron core structure of the three phase transformer due to asymmetric three phase lines, which includes line disconnection, ground fault, COS OFF, and unbalanced load are reported in the distribution system. To verify a feasibility of zero sequence impedance of Yg-Yg type three phase transformer, fault current generation in the three phase core and shell-type Yg-Yg transformer is compared by PSCAD/EMTDC when single line ground fault is occurred. As a result, shell-type transformer does not affect the flow of fault current, but core-type transformer generate an adverse effect by the zero sequence impedance. The adverse effect is explained by the zero sequence equivalent circuit of core-type transformer and Yg-Yg type three phase core-type transformer supplies a zero sequence fault current to the distribution system.
We present a new galaxy classification scheme in the Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) [$3.4{\mu}m$]-[$12{\mu}m$] color versus $12{\mu}m$ luminosity diagram. In this diagram, galaxies can be classified into three groups in different evolutionary stages. Late-type galaxies are distributed linearly along "MIR star-forming sequence" identified by Hwang et al. (2012). Some early-type galaxies show another sequence at [3.4]-[12] $(AB){\simeq}-2.0$, and we call this 'MIR blue sequence'. They are quiescent systems with old stellar population older than 10 Gyr. Between the MIR star-forming sequence and the MIR blue sequence, some early- and late-type galaxies are sparsely distributed, and we call these galaxies 'MIR green cloud galaxies'. Interestingly, both MIR blue sequence galaxies and MIR green cloud ones lie on the red sequence in the optical color-magnitude diagram. However, MIR green cloud galaxies have lower stellar masses and younger stellar populations (smaller $D_n4000$) than MIR blue sequence galaxies, suggesting that MIR green cloud galaxies are in the transition stage from MIR star-forming sequence galaxies to MIR blue sequence ones. We present differences in various galaxy properties between the three MIR classes using a multi-wavelength data, combined with the WISE and Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 10, of local (0.03 < z < 0.07) galaxies.
A reliable fault type identification (phase selection) plays a very important role in transmission line protection, particularly in Extra High Voltage(EHV) networks. The conventional fault type identification algorithm used the phase difference between positive and negative sequence current excluding load current. But, it is difficult to pick out only fault current since we can not know when a fault occurs and identify the fault type in weak-infeed conditions that dominate zero-sequence current in phase current. The proposed algorithm can identify the accurately fault type using the sum of unit vectors which are calculated by positive-sequence votage and negative-sequence voltage.
Hepatitis C virus (HCV) has been considered as a mojor causative agent of post-transfusion related non-A, non-B hepatitis. In this study, the cDNA sequence of NS4 region of HCV (HCV-S) obtained from a Korean patient's plasms was determined. Comparative nucleotide sequence analysis between to type II. 67.2% homology to type III, and 66.4% homology to type IV. The putative amino acid sequence homologies to types I, II, III, and IV were 82.8-84.7%, 92.5-95.1%. 72.5, and 71.1%, respectively. This data strongly suggests that HCV-S should be classified as type II. Significant similarities of hydrophobicity profiles and putative transmembranous domains were found in HCV-S and four major prototypes, indicating that the protein structure is similar in spite of the heterogeneities of intertype homologies at the level of the psrimary nucleotide and amino acid sequences.

Staphylococcus aureus is a ubiquitous pathogen associated with both human and animal diseases. In this study, we present the complete genome sequence of SA73-2, which was isolated from lettuce at an agricultural farm in South Korea. The assembled genome consists of a 2,750,304-bp circular chromosome and a 24,654-bp plasmid. This strain belongs to sequence type 188 (ST188), with spa type 189, and carries the β-lactamase gene (blaZ) on the plasmid.
In this paper we deal with functions in higher dimension. We provide several convergence theorem for approximation by convolution type delta sequence. We also give sufficient and necessary condition for Gibbs phenomenon to exist.

The nucleotide sequences of a 504 bp segment of the mitochondrial cytochrome b gene were analyzed to survey the intraspecific variation of the brown frog, Rana dybowskii, collected from nine populations in South Korea. Comparisons of sequence divergence of the cytochrome b gene suggest that the populations examined are clearly classified into two types (type 1 and type 2), diverged from each other by a high value of 14.3-15.9% sequence divergence. The two types are distributed allopatrically in most populations, but only one population occurs sympatrically. In the Tonghae population, their spawning grounds differ in that type 1 spawns in the puddle and type 2 spawns in the mountain creek. Based on the genetic divergences of the cytochrome b gene sequences, the phylogenetic status of Korean R. dybowskii is elucidated by comparing it with related brown frogs distributed in an area adjacent to the Korean Peninsula. Interspecific sequence divergences among type 1, type 2 and other related brown frog species (Russian R. dybowskii, R. pirica, R. ornativentris, R. chensinensis: 2n=24 chromosomes) used in this study ranged from 11.7 to 16.3%. R. dybowskii in Tsushima is very similar to our type 1 (sequence divergence=0-1.6%) and R. chensinensis in western China is closest to our type 2 (sequence divergence=6.8-7.5%).
Genetic diversity among Pseudomonas syringae pv. morsprunorum isolates from Prunus mume in Korea and Japan was investigated by comparative sequence analysis of the 16S rRNA gene. The strains included 24 field isolates recovered from P. mume in Korea along with seven Japanese strains. Two strains isolated from P. salicina in Japan, one strain from P. avium in the United Kingdom, and the pathotype strain were also used for comparison with their 16S rRNA gene sequences. Nearly complete 16S rRNA gene sequences were sequenced in all 35 strains, and three sequence types, designated types I, II and III, were identified. Eleven strains consisting of five Korean isolates, five Japanese strains, and one strain from the United Kingdom belonged to type I, whereas the pathotype strain and another 19 Korean isolates belonged to type III. Another four Japanese strains belonged to type II. Type I showed 98.9% sequence homology with type III. Type I and II had only two heterogeneous bases. The 16S rRNA sequence types were correlated with the races of P. syringae pv. morsprunorum. Type I and II strains belonged to race 1, whereas type III isolates were included in race 2. Sequence analyses of the 16S rRNA gene from P. syringae pv. morsprunorum were useful in identifying the races and can further be used for epidemiological surveillance of this pathogen.
This study focused on the variations in the non-coding sequences between ctxB and rstR of various CTX phages. The non-coding sequences of CTX-1 and CTX-cla are phage type-specific. The length of the non-coding region of CTX-1 and CTX-cla is 601 and 730 nucleotides, respectively. The non-coding sequence of CTX phage could be divided into three regions. There is a phage type-specific Variable region between two homologous Common regions (Common regions 1 and 2). The non-coding sequence of RS1 element is similar to CTX-1 except that Common region 1 is replaced by a short RS1-specific sequence. The non-coding sequences of CTX-2 and CTX-cla are homologous, indicating the non-coding sequence of CTX-2 is derived from CTX-cla. The non-coding region of CTX-O139 is similar to CTX-cla and CTX-2; however, it contains an extra phage type-specific sequence between Common region 2 and rstR. The variations in the non-coding sequences of CTX phages might be associated with the difference in the replication efficiency and the directionality in the integration into the V. cholerae chromosome.
The issue of connection between entities has a lengthy history in educational research, especially since it provides the necessary bridge between base and target in analogical transfer. Recently, the connection has been viewed through the application of technology to bridge between sequences in order to be cognitively useful. This study reports the effect of sequence type (AT vs. TA) and connection type (fading vs. popping) on the achievement and analogical transfer in a multimedia application. In the current research, 10th -grade and 11th -grade biology students in Korea were randomly assigned to five groups to test the effects of presentation sequence and entity connection type on analogical transfer. Consistent with previous studies, sequence type has a significant effect: analogical transfer performance was better when base representations were presented first followed by target representations rather than the reverse order. This is probably because presenting a familiar base first helps in understanding a less familiar target. However, no fully significant differences were found with the entity connection types (fading vs. popping) in analogical transfer. According to the Markman and Gentner's (2005) spatial model, analogy in a space is influenced only by the differences between concepts, not by distance in space. Thus connection types fail on the basis of this spatial model in analogical transfer test. The findings and their implications for sequence and connection research and practice are discussed. Leveraging on the analogical learning process, specific implications for scaffolding learning processes and the development of adaptive expertise are drawn.
