This study was conducted to evaluate the neuroprotective effects of Cheonggukjang extract in in-vitro and in-vivo models. T98G-human glioblastoma cells were pretreated with various concentrations (1~10 mg/mL) of Cheonggukjang extract for 24 h and then exposed to $H_2O_2$ (1 mM) for 3 h. The neuroprotective effects of Cheonggukjang extract were measured using a CCK-8 kit assay, total antioxidant capacity (TAC) assay, reactive oxygen species (ROS) assay, and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) release assay. The early stage focal ischemia rodent model was used as the in-vivo neurotoxicity model. Various concentrations (10~200 mg) of Cheonggukjang extract were administered to the animal models for 1 week. Peripheral blood was analyzed for glutathione peroxidase (GPx) expression by ELISA, and infarct volume reduction was analyzed by TTC staining. Cheonggukjang extract significantly (p<0.05) increased cell viability in T98G cells against $H_2O_2$ as well as against the induced neurotoxicity. Indeed, treatment with the Cheonggukjang extract induced a decrease in ROS and LDH expression and increased TAC significantly (p<0.05). However, Cheonggukjang extract did not induce a decrease in infarct volume or an increase in GPx expression in the in-vivo model. Despite the limitation in neuroprotection, Cheonggukjang extract may be useful for treating ROS injury.

This study aims to figure out the progression of Hyundai motor's corporate cultural marketing by conducting semantic network analysis. Although the previous research has focused on conception, categorization, impact, and performance of cultural marketing, they hardly pay attention to changes in cultural marketing over time. To explore the identified gap, we collected 2,315 articles concerning Hyundai motor's cultural marketing on daily newspapers printed from 2001 to 2018. The 18-year time period was classified into four periods, and lists of words were extracted and analyzed by Korean language analysis program, Textom and social network analysis program, called 'UCINET'. The outcome of our analysis indicates that Hyundai Motor's cultural marketing has been developed from the strategy of merely increasing sales to the means of distinguishing their corporate and brand identity. In the early 2000s, the words 'customer', 'The Age of Great Paintings: Rembrandt and the 17th century Dutch paintings', and 'performances' were extracted with high frequency. It shows Hyundai Motor held performance-oriented events and provided benefits to specific consumer groups under the type of 'Cultural Promotion'. In addition, as the exhibition sponsored by Hyundai motor was reported in the media with high publicity effect, the concept of 'Cultural Support' is also emerged. In the late 2000s, the top exposures were 'Seoul Arts Center' and 'Seoul Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra'. Under the concept of 'Cultural Support', both organizations and cultural events were sponsored by Hyundai motor. Hyundai Motor has the tendency to cooperate with high profile parties who have already accomplished high publicities to attract social interests and issues. In the early 2010s, Hyundai Motor created cultural marketing brand and space ('Brilliant' and 'Hyundai Art Hall') that broadened the potential target groups, which represented both 'Cultural Support' and 'Cultural Enterprise'. In the middle and late of the 2010s, as shown by the high frequency of 'brand' and 'global', Hyundai Motor has focused on the global market and viewpoint has expanded to brand building focusing on the type of 'Cultural Enterprise'.

This study investigates the present conditions of hospital clothes management. A survey was conducted with 72 respondents from 28 different hospitals in April and May 2009. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and correlations using PASW 17.0. The results were as follows: (1) Administrators, nurses, and outside specialists took part in the clothes management process. The administrators participated in the process of purchase determination. Nurses involved in the design, size selection, and outside specialists were responsible for routine management. (2) Most clothes were planned through the discussions between hospitals and manufacturers. Price was the most important element to determine the purchase of clothes. Size systems were various depending on the conditions of the hospital according to the number of beds. (3) Laundry duties were performed by the hospitals themselves or in specialized laundry plants. In addition, the hygienic condition of clothes management were satisfactory. (4) Patient gowns were evaluated positively, yet some complaints from patients were reported. (5) Various medical supplies were used and were uncomfortable related to textile and fitting problems. Future research themes are suggested based on these results.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a culture and art education program on adolescents with disabilities. Craft education oriented toward activities convergence education. The investigator conducted an in-depth interview with seven adolescents with developmental disabilities in a special high school class for a month after the educational sessions were over. The findings were as follows: first, the adolescents with developmental disabilities experienced the joy, pleasure, and interest of study, which they used to have a difficult time experiencing in a common class. Second, they became relaxed with their participation in lessons, felt comfortable through educational activities, and had a positive attitude. Third, they had a feeling of being together and coexistence through collaborative activities. Finally, they were able to share each other's ideas, listen carefully to their friends, talk about works they created, and experience close relationships with classmates.

This study aims to research the effects of group art therapy program on the self-esteem and peer relationships of children in low-income and single-parent families. It was performed for 24 sessions with Lee Hyeon-Jin's(2006) and Shin Ji-Hye and Kim Gui-Bok's(2009) group art therapy program. The evaluation was performed with Park Mi-Ran's self-esteem questionnaire(2007) and Kim Taehee's peer-relationship questionnaire(2005). The subjects are 26 elementary students in low-income and single parent family who are in the 2, 3, and 4 grade and use A-regional children center and B-regional children center which are located in Gyeongbuk province. Means, standard deviations, Independent t-test and Paired t-test were conducted. Firstly, the change in self-esteem of both experiment group and control group is investigated before and after their taking group art therapy program. There are statistically meaningful enhancements in self-esteem of experimental group. But there are no statistically meaningful enhancements in self-esteem of control group. Secondly, peer-relationships in both experimental group and control group do not change between before and after taking group art therapy program. Thus, the program of group art therapy is thought to be effective therapy improving the self-esteem of child in low-income single-parent family.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the nutritional status and to identify related factors in elderly hemodialysis patients. Sixty-four patients who were registered in Asan Medical Center, Seoul, Korea, participated in the study. The data was collected between September and December, 2003. General characteristics were obtained with the use of an interviewer-administered questionnaire. Anthropometric and biochemical data, 3-day dietary records and dietary habits were also obtained. The results of this study were analyzed with t-test or $X^2$-test using SPSS package program. The percentage of elderly hemodialysis patients who were undergoing mild to severe malnutrition (MN group) and were normal nutrition (NN group) by subjective global assessment (SGA) criteria were 46.9% and 53.1 %, respectively. Appetite (p < 0.05) and dietary cholesterol intakes (p < 0.05) were significantly lower in MN group than the NN group. Body mass index (BMI, p < 0.001), lean body mass (LBM, p < 0.05), triceps skinfold thickness (TSF, p < 0.01), mid ann circumference (MAC, p < 0.01) and mid ann muscle circumference (MAMC, p < 0.05) were also lower in the MN group than the NN group. There were also significant differences in blood urea nitrogen (BUN, p < 0.05), creatinine (p < 0.05), prealbumin (p < 0.001) and C-reactive protein (CRP, p < 0.05). SGA was negatively correlated with serum BUN, creatinine and pre albumin, dry weight, BMI, LBM, total body water, TSF, MAC and MAMC, and positively correlated with age. In stepwise multiple regression analysis, SGA was related to BMI, CRP, age and BUN. In conclusion, almost half of the subjects were in malnourished status and had lower values in anthropometric and biochemical data. Our results suggest that SGA is a simple and adequate method for assessing the nutritional status in elderly hemodialysis patients and adequate dietary guidelines based on individual nutritional status are needed in the patients.

Presently, the number of known asteroids is more than 710,000. Knowledge of size and albedo is essential in many aspects of asteroid research, such as the chemical composition and mineralogy, the size-frequency distribution of dynamical families, and the relationship between small bodies in the outer solar system or comets. Recently, based on the infrared all-sky survey data obtained by IRAS, AKARI, and WISE, the large asteroid catalogs containing size and albedo data have been constructed. In this paper, we discuss the compositional distribution in the main belt regions based on the compiled data on size, albedo, and separately obtained taxonomic type information.

The approximate crystal structure of benzidine monoperchlorate has been determined by single crystal X-Ray diffraction technique and patterson method. As the molecule has a center of symmetry in it and location of perchlorate ion is symmetrically on the mirror plane in the unit cell, perchlorate ion is forming hydrogen bond with two -$NH_2$ groups in the different molecule. Thus, one molecule of benzidine and perchloric acid combines 1:1 by mole ratio.

This paper is to investigate how types of presenting e-learning contents affect learning. The study examines learning outcome such as students' learning achievement, satisfaction, and perceived learning outcome of a course in liberal arts by three different types: VOD, WBI, and Text. The findings of this study will present the effectiveness of contents presentation type in e-learning. It is anticipated that the study will offer some suggestions to develop e-learning contents types for similar courses and further to develop effective contents types for various courses.

Sulfadiazine, $C_{10}H_{10}N_4O_2S$, forms monoclinic crystals of space group $P21}c$ from a mixture of acetone and ethanol with $a=13.71{\pm}0.04,\;b=5.84{\pm}0.03,\;c=15.11{\pm}0.05{\AA},\;{\beta}=115.0{\pm}0.3^{\circ}$, and four molecules per cell. Three dimensional photographic data were collected with $CuK\alpha$ radiation. The structure was determined using Patterson and Fourier synthesis methods and refined by block diagonal least-squares methods with isotropic thermal parameter for all non-hydrogen atoms. The final R value was 0.15 for the 1517 observed independent reflections. The dihedral angle between the planes through the benzene ring and the pyrimidine ring is $76^{\circ}$. The conformational angle formed by the projection of the S-C(5) bond with that of N(1)-C(1) where the projection is taken along the S-N(1) bond is $77^{\circ}$. The imino nitrogen atom, N(1), and pyrimidine nitrogen atom, N(3), form intermolecular $N-H{\cdots}N$ hydrogen bond between the molecules related by center of symmetry. Amino nitrogen atom, N(4), forms two intermolecular $N-H{\cdots}O$ hydrogen bonds, with O(1) and O(2) atoms of different molecules separated by b. A two dimensional network of hydrogen bonds form infinite molecular sheets parallel to the (100) plane. Adjacent sheets are bound together by van der Waals forces.
