충주층군(忠州層群)과 서산층군(瑞山層群)의 비교연구(比較硏究) (Comparative Studies between Chungju and Seosan Groups)

  • The Chungju and Seosan Groups have been known usually as Precambrian formations in Korea. But their relative and absolute ages have been controvericial problem in relation with other geologic system such as so-called Ogcheon and Yeoncheon Systems in Korea. This study has mainly focused on the corelation of the Chungju Group with the Seosan Group in their stratigraphy, structure, metamorphism, and iron ore deposits. In the process of study, the auther surveyed and reclassified the Chungju and Seosan Groups and corelated with Gyeonggi and Ogch cheon metamorphic belts and got some new data. The Chungju iron-bearing formations showing transtitional relation with the Gyeonggi Gneiss Complex and the Jangamri Formation consisting mainly of pebble bearing calcarious phyllite, should be seperated from the Gyemyeongsan formation which is mainly composed of metavolcanic rocks. The Jangamri Formation and the coaly phyllite, which can be corelated respectively with the Hwaggangri Formation and Changri Formation in Ogcheon Group, are repeated in the Gyemyeonsan and Munjuri Formations with the overturned anticlinal folding(F1). So the Chungju Group which was defined as an indipendant geologic unit from the Ogcheon Group should be limited only on the Chungju iron Formation. The Seosan Group can be classified stratigraphically such as Seosan Formation consisting of iron-bearing quartzite and mica schist, Daesan Formation overlying unconformably on the Seosan Formation and Gyeonggi Gneiss Complex. Taean Formation overlying unconformably on the Daesan Formation should be seperated from Seosan Group. There are many similarity in the stratigrphy, structure, and metamorphic facies between Chungju and Seosan Groups exept the metavolcanic rocks in the Gyemyeongsan and Munjuri Formations and the pebble bearing calcareous phyllite in the Jangamri Formation. The two Groups were deformed with two kinds of differant stages, the first shows $N30^{\circ}-40^{\circ}E$ trend of fold axis, the second $N70^{\circ}-80^{\circ}W$ respectively. The Seosan Formation, which is the lowest formation in Seosan Group and bearing the iron formation, was metamorphosed at 2500 m. y. before. These age is similar with the metamorphic age of Gyeonggi metamorphic belt and with the age of Algoman and Kenoran Orogenies which devide the Precambrian into Archean and Proterozoic Era. So the Seosan Formation, which is included in some migmatitic rocks of Gyeonggi Gneiss Complex, is the oldest formation in Korea and can be corelated with the Anshan Group which bears the oldest iron formation in China. The metamorphic facies of the Precambrian metamorphism in Seosan area is simillar with that of Chungju area, showing high temperature-low pressure amphibolite facies which is corelated with the Gyeonggi metamorphic belt, the oldest metamorphic belt in Korea ($650^{\circ}-680^{\circ}C$, 3.2-4.4 Kb). The high temperature intermediate pressure amphibolite facies in Seosan area with the low temperature-intermediate presure greenschist facies of Taean formation is corelated with that of Ogcheon Group ($590^{\circ}-640^{\circ}$ C, 5.2-6.3 Kb). The Chungju and Seosan iron formations were deposited in Archean, showing geochemical composition of Precambrian iron formations. The Chungju iron formation was mainly formed by the chemical precipitation, on the other hand, the Seosan iron formation was formed by alternated action of chemical and detrital depositions.

서산층군(瑞山層群)의 층서(層序) 및 변성작용(變成作用) (Stratigraphy and Metamorphism of Seosan Group)

  • The Seosan Group in the Taean peninsular can be divided into Seosan formation and Daesan formation according to its metamorphism and stratigraphy. The Seosan formation is composed of iron bearing quartzite and schist which are strongly metamorphosed and migmatized about 2572 m.y.ago. The Daesan formation is composed mainly of quartzite and crystalline limestone. They were intruded by granite gneiss 2370m.y ago and metamorphosed two or three times before Jurassic Period. The Group is overlain by Taean formation which shows low grade metamorphism. Total three times metamorphic events can be recognized in these areas. First and second metamorphisms are predominent in amphibolite facies, the last metamolphism is mostly greenschist facies.

서산층군 함철규암의 쇄설성 저어콘에 대한 SHRIMP U-Pb 연대: 시대와 층서의 제한 (SHRIMP U-Pb Geochronology of Detrital Zircons from Iron-bearing Quartzite of the Seosan Group: Constraints on Age and Stratigraphy)

  • 서산층군 함철규암의 한 시료를 대상으로 쇄설성 저어콘의 SHRIMP U-Pb 연대를 측정하였다. 42점의 분석치 중 38점이 불일치비 10% 이하의 일치연령을 나타내며, 이들은 $1781{\sim}1898\;Ma(n=19),\;1935{\sim}1941\;Ma(n=4),\;1996\;Ma,\;2120\;Ma\;2403{\sim}2459\;Ma(n=5)$, 2661 Ma와 3198Ma의 8 연령군을 이룬다. 따라서 함철규암의 퇴적시기는 가장 젊은 쇄설성 저어콘 연령인 1.78 Ga 이후이며, 이는 서산층군의 함철규암이 북중국 지괴의 시생대 함철층과 대비될 수 있다는 기존의 주장과 배치된다.

경기 편마암복합체 변성암의 CHIME 절대연대측정 (CHIME Ages of Monazites from Metamorphic Rocks from the Precambrian Gyeonggi Gneiss Complex in the Shiheung and Seosan Group of the Gyeonggi Massif, South Korea)

  • 한반도 경기편마암 육괴내 서산층군과 시흥층군의 대표적인 변성암 시료에 대하여 CHIME 절대연령 측정을 실시하였다. 경기편마암복합체 변성암중의 모나자이트 CHIME연령은 234${\sim}$257 Ma로 페름기-트라이아스기 중기에 속하고 있다. 이 연령은 경기육괴내 흥성지역의 변성시기(231 Ma, Kim et al., 2006)와 오대산 지역의 변성시기(245${\sim}$248 Ma, Oh et al., 2006b)와도 조화적이며 남중국지괴와 북중국 지괴의 충돌에 의한 송림 변동으로 일어난 지각변동과 수반된 변성작용의 시대로 해석된다. 한반도의 경기육괴 서산층군과 시흥층군의 변성암의 변성연대는 다비-수루 충돌대의 변성 연대(220${\sim}$242 Ma, Yang et al., 2003; Liu et al., 2003, 2004) 보다 오래되며 이는 남중국과 북중국 지괴의 충돌이 중국대륙에서 보다 한반도 지역에서 선행되었을 가능성을 시사하고 있다.

경기육괴 서남부 일대의 변성작용에 관한 연구 (A study on the metamorphism in the southwestern part of Gyeonggi Massif)

  • 경기육괴 서남부는 주로 시생대에 속하는 서산층군 및 대산층군과 고기원생대에 속하는 부천층군 및 경기편마암복합체에 속하는 부천-서산 편마암복합체로 구성된다. 당진단층 동편에는 중기원생대에 속하는 안양층군과 안양화강편마암이 분포되며 당진단층 서편에는 태안층군이 이들 시생대 및 고기원생대층군들을 부정합으로 덮고있다. 시생대층군은 주로 고암피볼라이트 변성상을 보여주며 암피볼라이트상 및 녹색편암상인 제2, 제3의 변성작용들이 중복되어 나타난다. 부천 및 안양층군은 암피볼라이트상과 녹색편암상을 보여주며 곳에 따라 중생대 변성작용으로 사료되는 녹색편암상이 중복되어 있다. 태안층군과 중생대의 대동층군은 녹색편암상을 보여준다.

경관자원을 중심으로 한 농촌마을들 간의 네트워크 잠재력 분석 - 충청남도 당진군, 서산시, 태안군을 중심으로 - (Network Potential Analysis among Agricultural Villages based on Landscape Resources - Focused on Dangjin, Seosan, and Taean in Chungchungnam-do Region-)

  • The purpose of this study is to reveal network potential among agricultural villages focused on landscape and amenity resources. For this study, we conducted Social Network Analysis (SNA) utilizing existing landscape resource database. As a result of the study, major landscape types shared among villages were found for each city. For example, agricultural and residential landscapes were identified as major types for Danjin city. Add to major landscape resources, in Dangjin city, Habduk village were recognized as a core. Seokmun, Daehoji, Woogang, and Sunseong villages were widely found as the sub core group. For Seosan city, Jigok, Palbong, and Kobuk villages were widely recognized as core group. Most of villages which indicated the highest degree centrality were superior in terms of the number of total landscape resources as well as landscape type diversity. These results can be useful for initial planning process when considering major theme for landscape-based network organization. Also, this information will be helpful for planning stage through the specification of the potential role of each village in overall network.

청소년의 치주질환에 대한 지식 및 태도와 구강건강행위와의 관련성 (The relationship between knowledge, attitude of periodontal diseases and dental health behavior in adolescents)

  • Objectives : This study was to examined the degree of oral health knowledge, attitude of periodontal diseases and dental health behaviors and to examine the relationship among variables in 12-year-old adolescents. Method : Participants were 2,196 adolescents who live in Seosan with an average age of 12.2. Data was collected using a self administrated questionnaire from April 10 through June 10, 2011. Results : The knowledge of periodontal disease of the subjects was $2.46{\pm}1.52$ and the attitude was $1.88{\pm}1.11$. It appears that knowledge and attitude concerning periodontal and dental health among young Korean 12-year-old adolescents living in Seosan city are in need of improvement. The knowledge and attitude were significantly higher in high group than low group of income. The knowledge and attitude toward periodontal and dental health was positively related to dental health behaviors. Conclusion : Based on the findings, dental health behaviors are strongly associated with knowledge and attitude toward periodontal and dental health. This result suggest that the implementation of oral health promotion should be considered for various factors related to attitude of oral health in adolescents.

경기육괴에 분포하는 원생대 및 중생대 암석에 대한 고지자기 연구 (Paleomagnetic Study of the Proterozoic and Mesozoic Rocks in the Kyeonggi Massif)

  • 한반도의 북중국/남중국지괴와의 연계성 및 충돌의 영향을 근거로 한반도의 지체구조적 진화를 알아보기 위하여 경기육괴에 분포하는 중생대 대동누층군과 원생대 변성암인 서산층군에 대하여 고지자기 연구를 수행하였다. 대동누층군에 대해서는 26개 지점 239개의 시료 중 14개 지점 106개의 시료에서 생성당시의 특성잔류자화 방향을 추출하였다. 특성잔류자화 방향은 경사보정 후 평균방향이 D/I=74.5$^{\circ}$/36.7$^{\circ}$(k=60.7, $\alpha$=5.1$^{\circ}$)이며 이는 경사보정 전의 방향 D/I=61.9$^{\circ}$/52.8$^{\circ}$(k=4.4, $$\alpha$_{95}$=21.5$^{\circ}$)보다 집중된 분포를 나타내므로 암석생성당시 획득된 일차자화임을 지시한다. 경사보정 후의 방향으로부터 계산한 고지자기극은 208.0$^{\circ}$E, 24.5$^{\circ}$N (n=14, K=67.5,$A_{95}$=4.9$^{\circ}$)에 위치하며 중기 트라이아스기 남중국지괴의 고자기극과 통계학적으로 유사하므로 이 기간 동안 대동누층군은 남중국지괴와 지구조적으로 동일했던 것으로 해석되며 남중국지괴와 한반도의 충돌에 따른 변형$.$변성작용에도 일차자화가 보존되었음을 지시한다. 서산층군의 33개 지점에서 채취한 279개 시료의 대부분은 분산된 방향을 나타내며, 오직 쥬라기 화강암 주변의 6개 지점에서 채취한 36개의 시료로부터 특성잔류자화 방향을 추출하였다. 이와 같은 결과는 경기육괴의 최대 변성시기인 북중국/남중국지괴와의 충돌과 연관된 고생대 말기에서 중생대 쥬라기 시기의 지구조 운동의 영향으로 추측된다. 지층경사보정 이전의 잔류자화 방향은 D/I=45.7$^{\circ}$/60.1$^{\circ}$(k=41.2, $$\alpha$_{95}$=10.6$^{\circ}$)이며 이로부터 구해진 고지자기극의 위치는 195.0$^{\circ}$E, 51.6$^{\circ}$N(n=6, K=20.8,$A_{95}$=12.4$^{\circ}$)로서 한반도 쥬라기 또는 백악기 초의 고지자기극과 유사하다. 그러나 서산층군의 특성잔류자화 방향은 조산운동의 직접적인 영향보다는 조산운동 후기 또는 이후에 쥬라기 대보화강암의 정치와 연관되어 획득된 재자화 방향으로 해석하였다.

아내폭력의 실태와 관련변인들 - 충남 서산 지역의 사례를 중심으로 - (The Current State of Wife Abuse and Related Variables in Seosan City, Chungnam Province)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the current state of wife abuse in Seosan and the relationships between wife abuse and the related variables. A total of 132 couples took part in this study. All couples live in Seosan city, range in age from their 20s to 50s and each couple has at least one child. Stratification sampling method was used to select the couples. They were asked to complete self-report questionnaires. Subjects completed a Korean version of the self- esteem scale, marital conflict scale, communication style scale, family history of violence scale, alcohol dringking, and wife abuse scale. In order to examine the current state of wife abuse, such as, frequency, mean, standard deviation and paired t-test, t-test were calculated and analyzed. Next, to identify differences in wife abuse between the upper group and the lower group, t-test was peformed. Finally, to investigate the relative influences of independent variables upon wife-abuse, multiple regression analysis was peformed. All these analyses were conducted using SPSS 10.0 program. The results were as follows; 1) In terms of the current state of wife abuse, there are three main observations. First, $23\%$ of respondents answered that they had beat their spouse or been beaten by their spouse before and after their marriage. Second, compared with physical violence($2{\~}16\%$), other types of violence such as verbal($7{\~}4\%$), emotional($41{\~}64\%$), economical($3{\~}29\%$) and sexual violence($4{\~}38\%$) were reported to occur more often in these relationships. Third, following the abuse most wives tend to tolerate the situation instead of taking an active action like reporting the abuse to police. 2) As for the husbands, subjects that drank a high level of alcohol, blaming and super-reasonable communication style, and family history of violence reported more frequent cases of wife abuse. As for the wives, subjects with high levels of self-esteem, irrelevant communication style, marital conflict, and family history of violence reported having more cases of that abuse. 3) In the case of husbands, alcohol, communication style and family history of violence explained $40\%$ of wife abuse. In the case of wives, marital conflict and family history of violence explained $77\%$ of their experiences with abuse. This study makes the contribution to aims to develop education programs and family therapy relevant to prevent wife abuse and to reconsider the existing laws governing domestic violence in Korea.

편타 손상 후 소극적 대처 전략이 통증 및 기능에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Passive Coping Strategies in Pain and Function After Whiplash Injury)

  • PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to observe the effect of pain and function according to the high and low manual passive coping strategies after whiplash injury. METHODS: The study was tested with 30 patients with neck pain. Coping was measured at after 10 days using the Pain Management Inventory. Group was divided into high passive(experimental) and low passive(control) group. All patients were equally treated with the ordinary therapy. Patients attended physical therapy for 3 times a week, for 6 weeks. Visual analogue scale (VAS) for pain, Pain Disability Index (PDI), neck disability index (NDI), were recorded both before and after the intervention. RESULTS: Each coping strategy group were evaluated after 6 weeks. VAS has been significantly reduced in both groups (p <.05). PDI and NDI was significantly decreased after the experiment before. In the experimental group (p <.001), the control group showed no significant difference. In the comparison between groups VAS was significantly reduced compared with the control group (p <.05), PDI and NDI was significantly reduced compared with the control group (p <.001). CONCLUSION: Low passive coping strategy predicts neck pain and disability recovery. It may be beneficial to assess and improve coping strategy early in whiplash injury.
