L-THIA를 이용한 서울특별시 유출량 공간적 분석: 2011년 7월 27일 강우를 중심으로 (Analysis of Spatical Distribution of Surface Runoff in Seoul City using L-THIA: Case Study on Event at July 27, 2011)

  • Temporal and spatical surface runoff by heavy rainfall during 25~28 July, 2011 causing urban flooding at Seoul were analyzed using Long-Term Hydrologic Impact Assessment (L-THIA). L-THIA was calibrated for 1988~1997 and validated for 1998~2007 using monthly observed data at Hangangseoul watershed which covers 90 % of Seoul city. As a results of calibration and validation of L-THIA at Hangangseoul watershed, Nash-Sutcliffe coefficients were 0.99 for calibration and 0.99 for validation. The simulated values were good agreement with observed data and both calibrated and validated levels were "very good" based on calibration criteria. The calibrated curve number (CN) values of residential and other urban area represented 87 % and 93 % of impervious area, respectively, which were maximum percentage of impervious area. As a result of L-THIA application at Seoul city during 25~28 July, 2011, most of rainfall (54 %, 287.49 mm) and surface runoff (65 %, 247.32) were generated at 27 July, 2011 and a significant amount of rainfall and surface runoff were occurred at southeastern Seoul city. As a result of bi-hourly spatial and temporal analysis during 27 July, 2011, surface runoff during 2:00~4:00 and 8:00~10:00 were much higher than those during other times and surface runoff located at Seocho-gu during 6:00~8:00 represented maximum value with maximum rainfall intensity which caused landslide from Umyun mountain.

위치정보를 활용한 커피 전문점의 입점 분석 (A Geostatistical Analysis of Retail Coffee Store Distribution)

  • This paper explores the distribution of the retail coffee franchise stores in Seoul using geostatistical analyses. The fact that lots of coffee stores are concentrated in the central area-Jongno and Jung-gu and commercial area-Gangnam and Seocho shows that the size of the floating population and potential customers is one of main drivers for making decisions on the locations of new stores. Except these 4 districts, the number of stores and population exhibit a positive correlation. By extracting the information on the 6 large coffee franchises store locations, we calculate the both haversine distances between stores of the same franchise and between stores of different franchises. We then empirically test the sitting and marketing strategies of Starbucks, Ediya, and Paik-Dabang using distance distributions. Significant pairs of Starbucks stores located within 100m confirm the sitting strategy of Starbucks which opens additional stores at crossways, stations, near shopping malls or other business zones though there already exist Starbucks stores. Meanwhile considerable portion of Ediya stores are found near Starbucks stores, which coincides with the sitting strategy of Ediya. We also find that Paik-Dabang that uses the low cost strategy has its stores open relatively farther than other franchises from Starbucks stores.

온라인 시장의 성장에 따른 패션산업 내 채용직종 및 직무 변화 및 교육방향 (Job type for recruitment, job function change and education direction in the fashion industry along with the growth of the online market)

  • As the online industry is vitalized by the fashion market, there is a tendency to believe that the recruitment of manpower in the online distribution field is increasing. Thus, this study attempts to analyze the job types and job functions for recruitment in the fashion industry based on job search sites and based on this, suggest an educational direction within the department of fashion design. First, when examining the size (number of employees) of fashion companies that posted jobs, the fashion companies with 30 or fewer employees accounted for 60.7% of the postings, and the location of the fashion companies was most commonly in Seoul with 144 companies located in Gangnam (Seocho-gu, Gangnam-gu). As for the recruitment conditions of the fashion companies, "academic level-irrelevant" was the highest with 42.6%, and in terms of gender and age, 59.3% of the cases were marked as "gender and/or age-irrelevant". Examining the types of jobs for recruitment in the fashion industry, fashion designers were the most popular at 52.6%, followed by on and off-line companies' MD, VMD, and stylist in that order. In the results of examining job function change, it is thought that the fashion design department should have basic educationon in that respect.

서울시 일원의 약수터 수질특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the charateristic of Natural Spring Water Quality in Seoul)

  • Because of the growing demand for protect and maintain one's health, population search for good water increase very rapid in recent. This study was performed to investigate the at 432 sites natural spring water quality in Seoul. Samples for analysis were collected form January to December in 2001. The quality of water was evaluated by analyzing fourty items of Korea drinking water criteria. The main results of this study were as follows 1. The rate of natural spring water was 26.6% and the Total colony, E.Coli and Yersinia of the total incongruence cause was 67.9% 2. The distribution of phisical-chemical item on the incongruence cause was Residues on evaporation 8.6%, Turbidity 4.3%, Nitrate nitrogen 2.5%, pH 2.5% and F-1,2% 3. The most population area of mean drinking population per one day was that man of Gangnam was 312.92 person. Next to Yangcheon Seocho Seodaemun and Dongjak was 229.6, 195.31, 190.50, 190,00 person. 4. The more person and the number of natural spring water, the more non passed drinking criteria natural spring water except for Gangnam and Gangbuk. 5. The corelationship of drinking population and results of the tests do not exist and the corelationship of results and Total colony, E.Coli, Color, Turbidity, KMNO4 consumption, Residues on evaporation, Fe, Mn, Zn and A1 are existed positive relationship.

Kainic acid 유발 간질 생쥐모델에서 소부혈(少府穴) 침치료의 해마 신경세포 보호효과연구 (The Neuroprotective Effect of Acupuncture Treatment at Shaofu (HT8) on Kainic Acid-induced Epilepsy Mouse Model.)

  • Objectives: The present study investigated the effects of acupuncture treatment and their mechanism by using the kainic acid (KA)-induced epilepsy mouse model. Materials and Methods: The seizure was induced by an intraperitoneal (i.p.) injection of 30 mg/kg KA, and the acupuncture treatment was subsequently administered to acupoint Shaofu(HT8) bilaterally with two pretreatment sessions before injection (total 3 times over 3 days). Twenty four hours after injection, we observed the survival of neuronal cells in the CA3 region of the hippocampus. In addition, the activation of microglia and astrocytes was observed by using CD11b and GFAP immunohistochemistry in the same region. Results: The results indicate that acupuncture treatment reduced the rate of neural cell death in the CA3 region of the hippocampus and decreased the activations of microglia and astrocytes in this region. Conclusion: These results demonstrate that acupuncture treatment protects hippocampal neuronal cell death from KA-induced epileptic seizure by inhibiting the activations of microglia and astrocytes.

  • New class of three dimensional (3-D) micromachined microwave planar filters at K and Ka-band are presented using LIGA micro-machined process. The K-and Ka-band filters show wide bandpass characteristics of~36% and ~39% with the insertion loss 1.26dB at 19.11GHz and 1.7dB at GHz, respectively. These filters can be applicable in high power MMIC of MIMIC.

비만클리닉 내원자 중 식이장애 고위험군 및 식이장애의 유병률 (The Prevalence of Eating Disorder High Risk Group and Eating Disorder Among Bariatric Clinic Patients)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of eating disorder high risk group and eating disorder among whom visit bariatric clinic for diet and its relationship with sex, ages and body measurement. Methods: 742 subjects who visit our clinic both at Seocho and Bundang from January to October in 2004 were surveyed by using EAT-26 to assess their eating attitude. Results: The prevalence of eating disorder high risk group was 17.9% and that of eating disorder was 3.2%. Mean score of EAT-26 was higher in females$(13.22{\pm}8.52)$ than males$(8.95{\pm}5.44)$ and was significantly higher in twenties than the thirties in females(p<0.05). Mean weight, BMI and % body fat were significantly lower in eating disorder high risk group than normal group(p<0.05). Conclusions: Eating disorder symptomatology was highly prevalent among whom visit bariatric clinic for diet.

  • 학교의 학습 과정에 있어서 학습자 간의 학습 능력의 차이는 존재하며 이를 해결하기 위해 교육과정에서는 개별 학습과 수준별 학습을 권장한다. 유무선 인터넷을 통한 수준별 학습은 최근에 많은 연구가 되고 있는 u-러닝(Ubiquitous Learning) 환경에도 부합하며 학습자 개개인이 자신의 속도와 수준에 맞게 자기주도적으로 학습을 하기에 알맞은 방법이라 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 학습자가 시간과 공간에 구애받지 않고 자율적으로 수준에 맞게 학습할 수 있는 수준별 학습 시스템을 설계하였다. 특히 시스템에 체계성을 더하기 위해 개별화 학습 체제 중에서 과거 많은 연구를 통해 그 효과성이 입증된 Keller의 PSI(Personal System of Instruction) 이론을 활용하여 시스템의 각 과정을 설계하였다. 본 시스템의 장점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습자가 원하는 시간과 공간에서 자신의 속도에 맞게 학습할 수 있으므로 자기주도적인 학습 능력을 기를 수 있다. 둘째, 시스템 구성상 평가를 통해 일정한 기준에 미달하면 목표에 도달할 때까지 계속 학습하고 도전해야 하므로 궁극적으로 완전학습에 도달할 수 있다. 셋째, 제한된 교실 상황에서 벗어나 온라인에서의 학습 지원이 가능하므로 학습자의 개인차에 따른 수준별 학습을 관리하고 책임져야 하는 교사의 부담을 덜어준다.

지방정부의 재정지출과 도시 정주 환경과의 상대적 효율성 분석 (A Study on the Relative Efficiency of Local Government' s Fiscal Expenditure and Urban Settlement Environment)

  • Efforts on the continued increase of local government's fiscal spending related to improving the residential environment are desirable to counter the declining phenomenon of urban decline. At the same time, however, it is also important to know how to operate limited finances more efficiently to improve the residential environment. This study aims to contribute to the rational allocation of fiscal expenditure and the creation of productive results for the improvement of the settlement environment. To this end, this study analyzed the efficiency of financial expenditure related to the improvement of the residential environment in 225 local governments nationwide. The relationship between financial expenditure and residential environmental performance was also measured and the CCR, BCC and SBM models were used to measure efficiency. The analysis showed that most local governments need to scale back their fiscal spending related to improving the government environment. In addition, it was required to prepare feasible spending plans by bench-marking the processes of residential environment improvement projects in areas such as Haman-gun, Jongno-gu, Seoul, and Seocho-gu, which are considered to be under efficient operation.

U-Health 프로그램을 이용한 직장인 대사증후군 관리사업의 효과 (The Effects of U-Health Program on Metabolic Syndrome of Workers)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate the effects of U-Health program on metabolic syndrome of workers. Methods: This study was conducted with a pretest-posttest control group study for 6 month from May to October 2010. Subjects in the experimental group participated in the U-Health program (n=315), whereas the control group did not (n=157). Results: In the U-Health group, statistically significant reductions in BMI(body mass index), waist circumference, cholesterol, and triglyceride were observed. The results of this study showed that 6 months of U-Health program influenced on the metabolic syndrome of workers in a positive way. Conclusion: It is, therefore, suggested to actively utilize the U-Health program to manage the workers' health.
