기여입학제의 찬반에 대한 대학생과 학부모의 인식 분석 (A Study on the Recognition of University Students and Parents about Legacy Preferences)

  • Legacy preferences has become the key issue of educational policy. The purpose of this study was to investigate the recognition of university students and parents about legacy preferences. The questionnaire which was made by researcher of this study was used as the method of this study. As a sampling, university students 360 and parents 312 were sampled. And SPSSWIN 20.0 was used as the method of data analysis. As a conclusion, this study indicates as follows. First, the ratio of disagreement of legacy preferences was higher than the ratio of agreement of legacy preferences. But higher-income class parents were tended to agree with legacy preferences. Second, many university students and parents regarded 'economic advantages for tuition payments and a scholarship', 'excellences for education by helping financial deficit of university' as agreement reasons of legacy preferences. And many university students and parents regarded 'reproduction of social class', 'promotion of one's sense of values of mammonism' as disagreement reasons of legacy preferences.

  • The furniture of the Joseon era, life sense of human forms a culture has appeared well. Feeling of life refers to the sense of feel natural to the history and traditional culture of the area and their own customs. Further, it is possible to be a sense that reflects the mental contents ego, ethical and religious. Furniture traditional and sophisticated sense like this is to take care of the sophistication that comes out from the inside than the beauty artificial as a function of the sense and user preferences. This is a feeling of unique Korean. Due to changes in the housing, the beauty of these illustrates the altered form mechanically a uniform in modern times. Have that desired to be manufactured furniture by applying the neck Korean furniture of our living environment that will change in Western Europe of today, with the tradition of the modern lifestyle.

헤어 컬러 선호도의 차이에 관한 연구 (A Study on Preferences of Hair Colors depending on Demographic Variables)

  • Just as costumes reflect the spirit of the time, hair styles echo the social changes and even facilitate them, being used as a means of communication. In short, hair styles reflect the cultural life of the time dynamically. In our modern times, fashion is moving very fast, and such a phenomenon is more conspicuous in hair styles. While individuals are eager to pursue their own individuality, hair styles play a leading role in fashion, excelling the costumes. In this sense, we need to note that hair styles may be related with individual, social and psychological factors. As people are more interested in hair colors, the scope of hair color selection becomes wider. People visit beauty shops to have their hair colors changes rather than have their hairs cut. Selection of a hair color seems to be deeply related with individuals' psychological states. Since hair colors have much effects on their facial images, hair designers need to have an empathy with their customers. Each person has his or her own unique image, and his/her selection of hair colors is affected much by external environment as well as his/her traits. With such basic assumptions in mind, this study was aimed at analyzing the preferences of hair colors by those in their 20's, 30's and 40's who are more interested in their hair colors. To this end, their preferences of or tendencies for hair colors were surveyed by sex, age group and job.

옥외여가공간의 다중감각 선호 및 이미지 영향력 연구 (A Study on the Multi-sensory Preferences and Image Influences of Outdoor Leisure Spaces)

  • Multi-sensory design results from sensory design paradigm and image centricism, which stimulates 5 sensation; visual, auditory, haptic, smell and taste sensation when we experience environment. This is helpful for designing outdoor space considering integrated sensation not only visual and auditory sensation as well as for improving visitor's satisfaction. Therefore, this study mainly intended to analyse the multi-sensory preference and the image influence of outdoor leisure space. For these purpose, this study selected 3 leisure spaces around Seoul city; Gwan-ak mountain(the type oriented natural resource), Insa-dong(the type oriented cultural resource) and Seoul land as theme park(the type oriented facility) and a survey was performed with a total of 204 visitors at the above spaces in winter and summer. The results of this study indicate that visual sensation was evaluated most high at 3 outdoor leisure spaces in both winter and summer. Visitors at Gwan-ak mountain and Seoul land prefer visual and haptic sensation, but visitors at Insa-dong prefer visual and haptic sensation in summer, visual and taste sensation in winter. Above all, this study led the designer to consider diverse sensation to access leisure space, especially haptic sense, which can be an effective design strategy to satisfy visitors.

Recommendation of tourist attractions based on Preferences using big data

  • This paper proposes a tourist destination recommendation application that combines a chatbot and a recommendation system. The data to be entered into the chatbot was through big data on social media. Through TEXTOM, a total of 22,701 data were collected over a one-year period from January 2022 to January 2023. Non-terms that interfere with analysis were removed through the data purification process. Using refined data, network visualization and CONCOR analysis were used to identify the information users want to obtain about travel to Jeju Island, and categories for each cluster were organized. The content was intuitively organized so that even those who approached it for the first time could easily use it, reducing the difficulty of operating the application. In this paper, users can select their own preferences and receive information. In addition, a tool called a chatbot allows users to focus more on the process of acquiring information by gaining a sense of reality while operating the application. This suggests an application that can reach the purpose of the curator by affecting the user's desire to visit tourist attractions.

Beliefs, Preferences, and Processes of College EFL Readers

  • This study aimed to explore EFL learners' beliefs and preferences about reading tasks and to examine the reading processes that they use for making sense of text. The subjects were comprised of 107 college students who were non-English majors and aged 19-28 years. Based on scores achieved on a reading comprehension test, they were divided into two groups (more-skilled and less-skilled readers) and asked to respond to a survey in class. The results of the survey revealed that: (1) a majority rate themselves as fair readers, which might be indicative of the insecurity they feel toward L2 reading; (2) authentic texts (especially magazines) and popular media appear to be their favorite reading materials; (3) unknown vocabulary is a major impediment to their L2 reading comprehension; (4) the more-skilled readers manifest a meaning centered view of reading, whereas the less-skilled readers center on vocabulary; and (5) both groups employ a multistrategic approach to L2 reading; however, the less-skilled readers are less successful in determining the meaning of unknown vocabulary. Pedagogical implications for EFL classroom teachers are provided.

학교체육복의 개발 방향에 관한 연구 - 부산지역 초, 중, 고등학생들을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Development Direction of Physical Education (PE) Uniforms - Target for Elementary, Middle and High School Students in Busan -)

  • This study conducted a survey and investigated students' opinions and design preferences to physical education (PE) uniforms for elementary, middle and high school students using PE uniforms for the following purposes: to increase satisfaction with PE uniforms; present basic data for the development of PE uniforms helping to improve the quality of school life; and propose the development direction of PE uniforms. PE uniforms shall be developed with the components of uniforms, symbolism, functionality and aesthetics. The symbolism of PE uniforms expresses the affiliations of people wearing them and makes them have a sense of affiliation. The functionality presents convenience in students' physical activities and intramural/extracurricular activities. The aesthetics reflects the aesthetically sophisticated sport wear trend in PE uniforms. The development direction of PE uniforms was organized based on the result of analyzing and investigating students' opinions and design preferences to PE uniforms. There were differences in students' opinions and preferences to PE uniforms according to the type of student groups (elementary, middle and high school). In addition, there were clear gender-differences in the same student group. An effort might be required to reflect students' preferences because PE uniforms which students had currently worn at school had been manufactured without the reflection of students' opinions.

여자수의 디자인에 대한 감성선호도 분석 (The Analysis of Sensibillity Preference of Women's Shroud Design)

  • Apart from keeping the body pleasant and protecting it from the environment, the purpose of clothing is to express one's sensibility, sense of belonging, status, and aesthetic sense. In the past, hanbok was also used to express status and class with the colors and the types and according to the times, the forms of hanbok has changed. Nowadays, people choose and wear hanbok that suits their tastes or purposes and various types of hanbok that considered pros and cons of it are now disseminated. Given this reality, traditional shrouds that are worn by the dead should also be designed newly to fit the modern trend. This research aims to analyze how people's sensibility preferences change on the traditional shrouds and the modern shrouds that are designed to fit the current trend. To see the change, this research analyzes sensibility preferences by using Semantic Differential Method on 4 modern shrouds that are used in preceding research and 1 traditional shroud. The survey was answered by total of 130 ordinary people in groups of 26 people in 5 groups who reside in Seoul and Kyungkhi province. As the result of the analysis, firstly, people preferred "high quality", "elegant", and "Korean" sensibility words for modern shrouds 1, 2, 3, and 4. Secondly, on traditional shroud, "uncomfortable", "neutral-elegant", "neutral-Korean", and "neutral-quality" that is closer to low quality sensibility words are preferred. Thirdly, "modest" and "extravagant" did not show any statistically significant difference. I hope this research can provide basic data that can be used to understand and comprehend on people's sensibility preference about shroud designs.

패럴랙스 효과를 고려한 강릉 해안림의 경관 관리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Coastal Forest Landscape Management Considering Parallax Effect in Gangneung)

  • 본 연구는 패럴랙스 효과를 고려하여 동해안 곰솔림의 경관관리 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구를 위해 10개 동해안의 곰솔림에 대해 폭원, 간격, 직경이 조사되었다. 곰솔림 관리방법으로 정량 솎아베기 방법이 사용되었다. 조사를 통해 경관(바다, 논, 산, 주거지, 상업지), 수목의 직경(16cm, 22cm, 28cm), 수목의 간격(5m, 7m, 10m)의 유형이 도출되었다. 각 유형을 조합하여 작성된 45개의 경관 시뮬레이션 이미지에 대해 어의구별척도와 리커트척도로 경관선호도가 조사되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 경관선호도의 평균 비교 결과, 자연적 요소(바다, 산, 논)는 경관선호도가 높고 인공적 요소(주거, 상업)는 낮게 나타났다. 특히, 바다에서 곰솔의 간격이 7m일 때 가장 높은 선호도를 보였다. 경관을 구성하는 요소들(녹지, 하늘, 건물, 도로 등)의 시각량과 경관선호도는 상관성이 매우 낮게 나타났다. 요인분석 결과, 깊이감(78%), 다양함(15.6%), 공간감(6.4%)의 3요인이 추출되었다. 깊이감과 공간감요인은 직경 28cm에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 이는 직경이 클 때 입체감이 커져 원근감을 강하게 발생시키기 때문인 것으로 보인다. 수목 간격은 5, 7, 10m의 공간감이 각각 유의한 차이를 보였다. 이는 경관선호도가 높은 10m를 기준으로 곰솔림의 솎아베기가 경관관리에 효과적일 수 있음을 의미하는 것으로 볼 수 있다.

빅데이터 감성분석에 따른 공항 공공예술 디자인 요소 및 선호도 연구 (Research on Airport Public Art Design Elements and Preferences Based on Big Data Sentiment Analysis)

  • In the context of globalization, circulation between cities has become more frequent. The airport is no longer just a place for boarding, disembarking, and transportation, but a public place that serves as the communication function of the "aviation city". The intervention of public art in the airport space not only gives users a sense of space experience, but also becomes a unique carrier for city and country image shaping. The purpose of this paper is to study the emotional value brought by airport public art to users, and to investigate the correlation analysis of public art design elements and user preferences based on this premise. The research methods are machine learning method and SPSS 21.0. The user's emotional value is introduced in the big data evaluation, and the preference and inclination of airport users to various elements of public art are analyzed by questionnaire. Through the research conclusion, the preference and main contradiction of users in the airport for the four dimensions of public art design elements are obtained. Opinions and optimization methods to provide reference data and theoretical support for public art design.
