뇌졸중 환자들의 노인전문병원 및 노인요양시설 선택요인과 이용만족도 (A Study of Preference and Satisfaction Factors between Senior Specialized Hospitals and Senior Care Facilities for Senior Stroke Patients)

  • This study compares the degree of satisfaction and the causes of selecting facilities for stroke patients in the senior specialized hospitals and other senior care facilities. The research results are followed. First, The patients who held the level of senior long-term care used senior specialized hospitals, while the patients who had the level of 2 or 3 degree used senior care facilities. The patients helped by cooperative care service used senior care facilities, and the patients helped by private service or family service used senior specialized hospitals. Second, The patients in senior specialized hospitals had affirmative attitude for their service system, while the patients in senior care facilities preferred their various service systems. In the satisfaction of the facilities, the patients in senior care facilities felt more satisfaction to staff, environment, service, and other factors than the patients in hospitals did. Third, in the result of logistic analysis, the patients had an affirmative attitude in case that they had spouse, experience of senior specialized hospitals or senior care facilities, without senior long-term care insurance. They also valued the service standard and the staff quality. As this study points out, the overall preference is higher in the senior care facilities. So, the stroke patients recognized the new role between the hospitals and the facilities after the establishment of long-term senior medicare system. This research had some limitation for the research areas and numbers. So the data analysis for the types of facility and the responses may not be generalized. However, the standard of choosing facility and satisfaction will be a guideline for establishing a new future role between hospitals and facilities. This result will be used as a basic data for the renovation of long-term senior medicare insurance.

노인복지관 이용자의 건강상태 및 건강관리서비스 프로그램 요구도 (Health Status and Health Care Service Program Needs of Senior Welfare Center Users)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the needs of the senior welfare center users of the health service program, and to establish a plan to adjust the health service functions of the senior center. Methods: A survey of 2,130 users of the Gyeonggi-do Senior Welfare Center was conducted from May 28 to June 30, 2018. Results: The major results of the study are as follows. First, 66.8 percent of senior welfare center users were willing to participate in health care. The requirement for health service programs was 3.87 points out of 5 points followed by cognitive ability improvement programs, senior movement programs, and chronic disease programs in lower areas. Second, the factors affecting the needs of health care service programs of senior welfare center users had a significant impact on women; the younger the age, the better the subjective health condition; the higher the number of medical conditions, the lower the out-of-patient experience; the longer the welfare center isused, the more people are willing to participate in healthcare. Conclusions: We believe that there is a need for social service policies and management to better understand the situation of senior citizens who are demanding various services due to illness and to integrate health and welfare services.

의료봉사에 대한 노인과 한의대생의 만족도 및 노인의 의료복지서비스에 대한 인식 조사 (The Study on Senior Citizens and Korean Medicine University Students' Satisfaction about Medical Service and Senior Citizens' Perception of Medical Welfare Service)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to examine senior citizens' perception of medical welfare service in Daejeon, and to investigate the level of Korean Medicine University students' satisfaction about medical services that they have done. Methods : We visited Daejeon city hall and Dae jeon Seo-gu community health center, and interviewed them. After that we select two population and did two different surveys. First, to investigate the current state of medical services and medical welfare in Daejeon, we select neglected class senior citizens who were serviced at social welfare center. Second, we select Daejeon Korean Medicine University student to investigate the level of satisfaction about medical services and pre-education. In first population, we random select 25 of 34 senior citizen who visits mere social welfare center. In second population, we random select 78 of 115 Korean Medicine University student who belongs to medical welfare club. Results : We found some advantages and problems in medical services. A lot of senior citizen who were serviced at social welfare center showed high level of satisfaction about medical service. But there were few citizens who knows about health & medical welfare. And most Korean Medicine University student who services medical service to neglected class senior citizens showed high level of satisfaction. Conclusion : We concluded that medical welfare for senior citizen needs more publicizing. Because result of our survey, many senior citizens showed not only low level of recognition in medical welfare service, also showed low utilization rate in public health center. And most Korean Medicine University students were satisfied with themselves about medical service that they have done, it seemed medical service gives beneficial influence to not only senior citizen but also Korean Medicine University student.

액티브시니어를 위한 도심형 노인주거서비스에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Residential Services of Urban Type Senior Living for Active Senior)

  • This study aims to propose the residential service for Active senior from the age of 40's to 60's who prefers urban-type lifestyle. The lifestyle for Active senior was reorganized into the 5 main categories; convenience, well-being & activity, community, brand & Individuality and self-expression from the recent studies about the senior lifestyle. According to the lifestyle above, I propose the residential services to meet their needs. The result of the research, it showed that the services comcerned about the lifestyle; one stop living service, customized activity & health program, open community, various choices & facility differentiation and life-long education & working opportunity can be possible and more helpful in meeting the active senior's needs.

패션 브랜드 매장에서의 관계 형성을 위한 마케팅 전략이 브랜드 관심과 소비자 행동에 미치는 영향 - 한·중 액티브 시니어 소비자 비교를 중심으로 - (Marketing strategy effects on brand interest and consumer behavior to establish a consumer relationship in fashion brand stores - Comparing of Korean and Chinese active seniors -)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of relationship and service marketing on the brand interest and behaviors among Korean and Chinese active senior consumers and whether this effect differed between the two groups. A survey was conducted by having participants complete questionnaires administered by a research firm. For empirical analysis, frequency, EFA, CFA, SEM, the metric invariance test, and multiple-group comparison analysis were performed. The analysis results revealed that relationship marketing positively affected both brand interest and consumer behavior. Although service marketing positively affected brand interest, it did not have a significant effect on consumer behavior. In other words, brand interest positively affected consumer behavior through relationship and service marketing. Multiple-group comparison analysis demonstrated that no difference existed between Korean and Chinese active consumers in terms of how relationship marketing affected their brand interest, but a difference existed in how it affected their behavior. Service marketing had a greater influence on Chinese active senior consumers' brand interest than on Korean active senior consumers. However no difference existed between the two groups with respect to how service marketing affected their behaviors. Finally, brand interest had a positive effect only on Korean active senior consumers' behavior through relationship and service marketing, but not on Chinese active senior consumers. In conclusion, relationship and service marketing should be used to enhance the brand interest among Korean active senior consumers, and business activities should be planned by building relationships with Chinese active senior consumers to affect their behavior.

Development Directions of Service Standards for Senior Congregate Housing

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the needs of future users for services at senior congregate housing and to look into the development directions of the service standards for senior congregate housing. A survey was conducted among middle-aged people in their fifties, who lived in Seoul, using the systematic random sampling method. The final sample included 498 respondents. The survey was conducted from November 3, 2003 to November 14, 2003. The results of this study were as follows. Firstly, as the need for housing services were high, it was quite clear that various services at senior congregate housing should be provided. Secondly, a service differentiation strategy should be proposed to meet the characteristics of the users. Thirdly, it was hereby suggested that service standards should be established in the following manner considering the relationship between the needs for services and the income level directly influencing the provision of services: 'Basic services' to be provided regardless of income, 'Optional services' to be selectable among the preferable services per income level, and 'Supportive services' to be provided for low-income people.

  • Recently, the korean statistical information service reported that the elder people aged over 65 years take 11 percentage point of all population, indicating that the hyper-elder era will advent shortly. As a result, there are remarkably increasing demands for providing self-organizable home agent system for elder people. Of the home agent system, the ubiquitous home service is known to be useful to overcome this problem. However, current ubiquitous home services limited to provide functional services, and it can be observed that there is lack of consideration for elder-support products which are closely interacted with elder people in the living situation. In this paper, we analyze senior aids products that can be combined to the ubiquitous home service, and propose design procedure for senior aids products that can be applied to self-organizable ubiquitous services. We studied characteristics of elder people, current state of affairs for senior aids products, and home services that are highly required by elder people. Moreover, we observed that the ubiquitous home services related to health, safety, and amenity are urgently needed, and those services can be categorized according to residential areas. Following those observances, we proposed a design principle based on the universal design paradigm to provide self-organizable ubiquitous home service environment for elder people using senior aids products.

경기도 노인복지관 특화 프로그램 평가: 서비스 이용자 관점을 중심으로 (Evaluation on the Specialized Quality Programs of the Senior Welfare Centers in Gyeonggi-do: Focusing on the Perspectives of the Service Users)

  • 본 연구는 노인복지관의 프로그램이 서비스 이용 노인에게 유용한가에 대한 문제의식에서부터 출발하였다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 노인복지관의 프로그램이 서비스 이용자 노인의 욕구를 충족시키고 있는지 여부와 실제적으로 도움이 되는지를 살펴보기 위해서 다음 3가지의 연구방법을 활용하였다. 노인복지관 서비스 이용 노인을 대상으로 하는 '심층 인터뷰'와 노인복지관이 운영하고 있는 '특화 프로그램 분석', 그리고 노인복지 관련 '전문가 FGI'를 실시하였다. 본 연구결과를 통해 다음과 같은 점을 논의하여 제언하고자 한다. 첫째, 권리에 기초한 서비스 이용자 중심의 노인복지관 프로그램 활성화이다. 둘째, 고품격 노인문화를 만들어내는 노인복지관 프로그램의 개발과 실행이 되어야 한다. 셋째, 지역사회와 연계된 노인복지관 프로그램으로의 전환이 필요하다. 끝으로는 프로그램을 소통하는 네트워크 구축 거점센터로서의 역할이 구축되어야 할 것이다.

택배업체의 CSV(공유가치창출)가 신뢰 및 사용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 실버택배 서비스를 중심으로 (A Study on the Impact of CSV(Creating Shared Value) of Delivery Companies on Confidence and Intention to Use Delivery Service: Focused on Senior Parcel Delivery Service)

  • 택배사들은 지속적으로 늘어나는 택배 수요와 이를 처리할 배송 인력의 부족, 배송 난(難) 지역의 해소 및 택배거점 확보의 필요성, 배송비용 상승에 대한 대응 등 사업 수행상의 어려움에 직면하고 있는 상황에서 노인의 일자리를 창출하는 실버택배 서비스를 도입하는 CSV 활동을 진행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실버택배 서비스 품질과 택배사의 CSV 활동 및 소비자 개인특성요인이 택배사에 대한 신뢰 및 사용의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 실증분석에서는 택배서비스를 이용해본 경험이 있는 개인을 대상으로 온 오프라인으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 최종적으로 216개의 표본으로 실증분석 하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 먼저, 실버택배 서비스 품질인 신속성은 신뢰에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 안전성은 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 실버택배 서비스 업체의 CSV 활동의 진정성은 신뢰에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, CSV 활동의 적합성은 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 소비자 개인 특성인 소비가치와 윤리적 소비성향은 신뢰에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 실버 택배사에 대한 신뢰 또한 사용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

공공도서관 시니어 이용자의 정보이용요구 조사 및 서비스 개선방안 연구 (A Study on Information Needs of Senior Users and Service Improvement in Public Library)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 공공도서관 시니어이용자의 정보이용요구를 조사하고 이를 기반으로 시니어서비스 개선방안을 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 인구통계 및 공공도서관 통계를 분석하였고, 강서구 도서관의 시니어이용자를 대상으로, 도서관의 장서, 프로그램, 서비스, 공간에 대한 의견과 요구를 조사하였다. 조사는 설문과 면담으로 진행되었으며, 조사 결과를 바탕으로 시니어서비스 개선은 콘텐츠 맞춤화 장서, 과거·현재·미래를 연결하는 프로그램, 접근과 홍보가 강화된 서비스, 시니어를 배려하는 전용공간 확보 등으로 나아가야 할 것을 제안하였다.
