The Semantic Web is an extension of the current Web in which information is given formal and explicit meaning. The Semantic Web enables computer programs to understand information contents and thus facilitates more efficient discovery, automation, integration and sharing of data. To create Semantic Web contents one needs appropriate tools. In this paper, we describe such a toolkit we have constructed. The most important feature of the toolkit is that it makes use of information extraction techniques for automatically annotating web page contents. Experiments with a real life application show promising results and demonstrate the usefulness of the toolkit.

본 논문에서는 한국어 자연언어처리 결과물들을 통일된 형식으로 표준화하기 위해서 NIF를 적용한 내용을 다룬다. 한국어 자연언어처리에 NIF 온톨로지를 적용한 이유와 적용과정에서 야기된 문제점들을 논의한다. 한국어 NLP2RDF 구축과정에서 한국어 자연언어처리에 필요한 새로운 클래스와 프로퍼티들을 추가로 정의하여 NIF 온톨로지를 변형 적용하였다.

Intelligent Content is defined as detailed information or fragment of content which contains a semantic data structure. This semantic structure makes possible to do various intelligent operations. There are wide range of content-oriented applications such as classification, retrieval, extraction, translation, presentation and question-answering. The concept of Intelligent Content is applied to various fields like MPEG and Semantic Web. In this paper, we discuss the several important researches of Intelligent Content and how to apply this conception to these fields.

Because, next generation web, semantic web consists of documents with semantic information, it enables computer interpret the contents of the documents, so that the information retrieval, interpretation and integration can be automated. The web documents with the semantic information may be made in ontology. In this paper, collaborative approach among the ontology design techniques is more excellent than the other techniques because it design the ontology through continuous evaluations and modification in terms of multiple views. So, we propose the process of designing and implementing the ontology for specific domain, which is Yeomigi tour place. Delphi technique, that is a kind of collaborative approach, is used when the ontology is designed.

RDF는 다양한 응용 분야에서 정보의 표현 및 저장 수단으로 활용되고 있으며, 차세대 웹으로 촉망받고 있는 시맨틱 웹에서는 중요한 기반구조의 역할을 갖고 있다. RDF 메타데이터의 저장과 검색 기능을 제공하기 위하여 개발된 기존 시스템들의 단점을 극복하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 새로운 RDF 메타데이터 저장 구조를 설계하고, 이를 구현한 시스템 SMARTTriple을 개발하였다. 이 시스템은 기존 시스템보다 우수한 성능을 갖는 RDF 메타데이터에 대한 효율적인 저장 및 검색 기능을 제공함으로써 향후 RDF 표준을 이용하는 웹 기반 응용 시스템의 연구와 개발에 좋은 도구를 제공하게 될 것이다.

지식을 축적하고 활용하기 위한 계속된 시도들이 '시맨틱 웹'이라는 개념에까지 이르게 되었는데, 시맨틱 웹이란 결국 인간의 지식을 정형화하겠다는 정보조직의 욕구에서 비롯된 산물로써, 인간이 언어로 표현하는 지식을 정형화하는 방법을 제시하고 이를 표준 웹 환경으로 통합하여 미래의 웹 환경을 일종의 통합된 목록시스템으로 구현하려는 노력이라고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 시맨틱 웹의 전반적인 개요와 시맨틱 웹을 구현하기 위한 기반인 RDF 스키마 및 여러 온톨로지 언어의 특징과 역할에 대해 살펴보고 몇가지 온톨로지를 기반으로 한 응용 연구를 소개하였다. 또한, W3C를 중심으로 시맨틱 웹을 위한 표준 온톨로지 언어로 제안된 OWL(Web Ontology Language)을 바탕으로 패싯형 시소러스인 AAT(Art and Architecture Thesaurus)의 개념 체계를 이용한 온톨로지 스키마를 구현하여 시맨틱 웹 환경의 온톨로지 기반 시스템의 구축사례로 제시하였다.

Ontology is an indispensable component in intelligent and semantic processing of knowledge and information, such as in semantic web. However, ontology construction requires vast amount of data collection and arduous efforts in processing these un-structured data. This study proposed a methodology to automatically construct and generate ontologies from Sejong Electronic Dictionary. As Sejong Electronic Dictionary is structured in XML format, it can be processed automatically by computer programmed tools into an OWL(Web Ontology Language)-based ontologies as specified in W3C . This paper presents the process and concrete application of this methodology.

This paper explored the digital application of intangible cultural heritage from the perspective of cultural ecology. Through field investigations, combined with cultural ecology theory, an ontology-based semantic web technology was proposed, and Nanjing "Yunjin" brocade weaving technique was selected as the research object. The specific steps were as follows: First, based on the field surveys and cultural ecology theory, the intangible cultural ecological environment was divided into natural and social environments. Next, constructing the intangible cultural heritage ontology was constructed, including the collection and collation of Nanjing Yunjin weaving technique knowledge corpus, based on user needs analysis and corpus analysis, CIDOC CRM was used to create rules to build the ontology. Finally, based on the MediaWiki platform and Semantic MediaWiki, the semantic web model of the intangible cultural heritage was designed, and its semantic retrieval function was realized, thereby achieving the practical application of intangible cultural heritage digitization. Based on the perspective of cultural ecology, a set of intangible digital application models was proposed, which expanded the digital application of the cultural ecology theory, verified the application of this model in the sustainable development of cultural tourism, and provided reference for the sustainable development of cultural tourism.

최근 들어 인공지능 계획기법을 이용하여 자동화된 시맨틱 웹서비스들 간의 조합을 구현하려는 연구들이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 일반적으로 전통적인 인공지능 계획기법들은 복잡한 제어구조를 포함하는 웹서비스 프로세스를 하나의 단위 행동이나 계획으로 표현하기 어렵고, 온톨로지에 포함된 의미 정보들을 계획생성에 충분히 반영할 수 없으며, 웹서비스들 사이의 입출력 데이터 흐름을 직접 모델링할 수 없고, 계획단계와 실행단계가 분리되어 있어 웹서비스 실행단계의 불확실성과 가변성을 계획단계에서 충분히 고려할 수 없다는 등의 한계점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위한 접근 방법으로서 반응형 계획을 이용한 시맨틱 웹서비스 조합을 제안하고, 프로토타입 시스템인 SWEEP을 구현하였다. e-Commerce 분야의 예제 웹서비스들을 대상으로 실험을 통해, 우리는 반응형 계획이 자동화된 시맨틱 웹서비스의 조합과 실행을 구현하기 위한 효과적인 기술임을 확인할 수 있었다.

기존의 Open API들과는 달리 링크드 데이터는 웹 자체를 하나의 거대한 지식베이스로 만들어 수준 높은 SPARQL 질의를 수행할 수 있으며, 다양한 데이터셋으로부터 서로 다른 정보들을 매쉬업하여 하나의 새로운 콘텐츠를 효율적으로 생성할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 위치 기반 시맨틱 검색을 위한 반응형 웹 애플리케이션을 구현하였다. 링크드 데이터인 DBpedia와 Google에서 제공하는 GoogleMap API를 매쉬업하고 검색된 개체들에 대한 세부적인 정보를 확인할 수 있는 시맨틱 브라우저 기능을 제공한다. 본 시스템은 반응형 웹 디자인 사상을 적용하여 PC 및 모바일 등 다양한 접속 환경에서 동일하게 사용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 구현된 시스템은 기능이 유사한 현존 시스템들과 기능 스펙을 비교하였다. 비교 결과 시맨틱 사용, 링크드 기반 브라우저, 매쉬업 기능 등 다양한 측면에서 본 시스템의 우수성을 보여준다.
