Fuzzy 제어 기반 협력 스펙트럼 센싱 (Cooperative Spectrum Sensing Based on Fuzzy control)

  • Cognitive Radio는 유휴 스펙트럼을 찾아 환경에 맞는 통신방식과 주파수 대역폭을 능동적으로 판단해 재활용하는 지능적인 간섭회피로 방식으로 스펙트럼을 공유하여 전파자원효율을 극대화 하는 기술이다. 이때 PU에 간섭을 일으키지 않기 위한 스펙트럼 센싱 기술이 중요하다. 하지만 상황에 따라 스펙트럼 센싱 알고리즘을 선택할수 있다면 좀더 효율적 센싱을 할수 있을 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 퍼지컨트롤러를 통해 에너지검출, 자기상관검출,M atched filter 검출 등을 개별 센싱에 반영하는 시스템 모델을 제안하고 분석한다.

삼변·삼각 측량 협업을 이용한 홈 웰니스 로봇의 자기위치인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Self-Localization of Home Wellness Robot Using Collaboration of Trilateration and Triangulation)

  • 본 논문은 홈 웰니스 로봇에서의 센싱 플랫폼 기술 구현에 관한 연구이다. 실내 이동로봇의 자기위치인식은 정교한 궤도 제어를 위하여 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 RF 센서 네트워크와 퍼지추론을 이용하여 로봇의 실내 위치인식 알고리즘을 구현하고자 한다. RFID 센서를 이용하여 로봇 자기위치를 인식하고, 삼변측량과 삼각측량의 장점들을 결합하기 위하여 퍼지 추론기를 이용한 협업 알고리즘을 제안한다. 삼변측량 자기위치 인식을 구현하기 위하여 RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator)방식을 구현하고, 삼각측량 자기위치 인식을 구현하기 위해 TOA(Time of Arrival)방법을 사용한다. 태그로부터 측정된 거리와 위상각의 차이를 이용하여 삼변 및 삼각측량기법을 통해 얻은 결과값들을 퍼지 추론에 의하여 실시간으로 융합하여 개선된 최종 위치를 계산한다. 본 논문에서 설계한 RFID 센서 네트워크 환경과 홈 웰니스 로봇에 탑재 되어 있는 리더 시스템을 기반으로 제안한 알고리즘의 적용 실험 결과들을 통하여 개선된 성능을 확인 한다.

  • In this paper, a novel dual-type positioning mechanism using a voice coil motor(VCM) and a piezoelectric actuator is proposed for optical disk drive or near-field recording type drive. The VCM is used for a coarse motion actuator and the piezoelectric actuator, "S" configuration deflection motion when voltage applied, is used for a fine motion actuator with self-sensing technique, which allows it to sense and actuate simultaneously in a closed loop frame work. When the VCM rotates and stops, a position feedback control algorithm is adopted to further control residu vibration. The performance of the control scheme is confirmed through simulations and experiments.

A Self-Tuning PI Control System Design for the Flatness of Hot Strip in Finishing Mill Processes

  • A novel flatness sensing system which is called the Flatness Sensing Inter-stand Looper(FlatSIL) system is suggested and a self-tuning PI control system using the FlatSIL is designed for improving the flatness of hot strip in finishing mill processes. The FlatSIL system measures the tension along the direction of the strip width by using segmented rolls, and the tension profile is approximated through the tension of each segmented roll. The flatness control system is operated by using the tension profile. The proposed flatness control system as far as the tension profile-measuring device works for the full strip length during the strip rolling in finishing mills. The generalized minimum variance self-tuning (GMV S-T) PI control method is applied to control the flatness of hot strip which has a design parameter as weighting factor for updating the PI gains. Optimizing the design parameter in the GMV S-T PI controller, the Robbins-Monro algorithm is used. It is shown by the computer simulation and experiment that the proposed GMV S-T PI flatness control system has better performance than the fixed PI flatness control system.

A Prototype System for Early-Stage Breast Cancer Detection

  • The early detection of breast cancer is very important. The final goal of this study is to develop an inexpensive portable device for simply detecting the existence of breast cancer using microwaves. In this study, we proposed a detection algorithm and the system configuration of such a device. The feasibility of the proposed method was investigated by numerical simulation and actual measurement. A prototype sensing module was fabricated, and the measurement results for tumor phantoms were presented. The measurement results showed that the prototype sensing module worked well, and the simulation results revealed that the detection rate of the device could be about 60% for a 4 mm tumor and almost 100% for a 6 mm tumor. The proposed device can be used for the self-diagnosis of breast cancer. Further study is required to reduce the size of the sensing module.

  • A location estimate problem is critical issues for mobile robot. Because it is basic problem in practical use of the mobile robot which do what, or move where, or reach an aim. Already there are many technologies of robot localization (like GPS, vision, sonar sensor, etc) used on development. But the elevation of accurateness was brought the problem that must consider an increase of a hardware cost and addition electric power in each ways. There is the core in question to develop available and accurate sensing algorithm though it is economical. We used a ultrasonic sensor and was going to implement comparatively accurate localization though economical. Using a sensing data, we could make a grid map and estimate a position of a mobile robot. In this paper, to get a satisfactory answer about this problem using a ultrasonic sensor.

Accelerated Split Bregman Method for Image Compressive Sensing Recovery under Sparse Representation

  • Compared with traditional patch-based sparse representation, recent studies have concluded that group-based sparse representation (GSR) can simultaneously enforce the intrinsic local sparsity and nonlocal self-similarity of images within a unified framework. This article investigates an accelerated split Bregman method (SBM) that is based on GSR which exploits image compressive sensing (CS). The computational efficiency of accelerated SBM for the measurement matrix of a partial Fourier matrix can be further improved by the introduction of a fast Fourier transform (FFT) to derive the enhanced algorithm. In addition, we provide convergence analysis for the proposed method. Experimental results demonstrate that accelerated SBM is potentially faster than some existing image CS reconstruction methods.

Multi-Description Image Compression Coding Algorithm Based on Depth Learning

  • Aiming at the poor compression quality of traditional image compression coding (ICC) algorithm, a multi-description ICC algorithm based on depth learning is put forward in this study. In this study, first an image compression algorithm was designed based on multi-description coding theory. Image compression samples were collected, and the measurement matrix was calculated. Then, it processed the multi-description ICC sample set by using the convolutional self-coding neural system in depth learning. Compressing the wavelet coefficients after coding and synthesizing the multi-description image band sparse matrix obtained the multi-description ICC sequence. Averaging the multi-description image coding data in accordance with the effective single point's position could finally realize the compression coding of multi-description images. According to experimental results, the designed algorithm consumes less time for image compression, and exhibits better image compression quality and better image reconstruction effect.

Study on Dimensionality Reduction for Sea-level Variations by Using Altimetry Data around the East Asia Coasts

  • Recently, as data mining and artificial neural network techniques are developed, analyzing large amounts of data is proposed to reduce the dimension of the data. In general, empirical orthogonal function (EOF) used to reduce the dimension in the ocean data and recently, Self-organizing maps (SOM) algorithm have been investigated to apply to the ocean field. In this study, both algorithms used the monthly Sea level anomaly (SLA) data from 1993 to 2018 around the East Asia Coasts. There was dominated by the influence of the Kuroshio Extension and eddy kinetic energy. It was able to find the maximum amount of variance of EOF modes. SOM algorithm summarized the characteristic of spatial distributions and periods in EOF mode 1 and 2. It was useful to find the change of SLA variable through the movement of nodes. Node 1 and 5 appeared in the early 2000s and the early 2010s when the sea level was high. On the other hand, node 2 and 6 appeared in the late 1990s and the late 2000s, when the sea level was relatively low. Therefore, it is considered that the application of the SOM algorithm around the East Asia Coasts is well distinguished. In addition, SOM results processed by SLA data, it is able to apply the other climate data to explain more clearly SLA variation mechanisms.

자기정전용량 방식의 TSP에서 멀티터치 인식 및 추적 (Multi-touch Recognition and Tracking for Self Capacitive TSP)

  • 본 논문에서 우리는 자기정전용량 방식의 TSP(Touch Screen Pannel)에서 멀티터치를 인식하고 추적하는 방법에 대하여 소개한다. 자기정전용량 방식의 TSP는 패널의 가로와 세로로 배치된 ITO 투명전극필름 자체의 정정용량변화를 센싱하여 터치를 인식하는 방법으로 SNR이 좋고 센싱시간이 빠르며 터치인식 및 처리가 간단한 장점이 있으나 멀티터치 처리에 어려운 단점이 있다. 이러한 이유로 최근에는 멀티터치에 어려움이 없는 상호정전용량 방식의 TSP가 많이 사용되고 있다. 그러나 소형으로 개발되는 리모컨 패드나 최근에 개발되고 있는 착용기기에서는 제한된 멀티터치만으로 가능하므로 큰 문제가 되지 않는다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 자기정전용량 방식의 TSP에서 멀티터치를 인식할 때 발생하는 문제와 이러한 문제를 완화하는 방법 그리고 터치이동 시에 이를 추적하는 방법에 대하여 제안한다. 제안한 방법을 실험한 결과 투 터치에서 안정적으로 동작함을 확인하였다.
