Recently, dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) attracts great attention as a promising alternative to conventional silicon solar cells. One of the key components for the DSSC would be the nanocrystalline TiO2 electrode, and the control of interface between TiO2 and TCO is a highly important issue in improving the photovoltaic conversion efficiency. In this work, we applied various interfacial layers, and analyzed their effect in enhancing photovoltaic properties. In overall, introduction of interfacial layers increased both the Voc and Jsc, since the back-reaction of electrons from TCO to electrolyte could be blocked. First, several metal oxides with different band gaps and positions were employed as interfacial layer. SnO2, TiO2, and ZrO2 nanoparticles in the size of 3-5 nm have been synthesized. Among them, the interfacial layer of SnO2, which has lower flat-band potential than that of TiO2, exhibited the best performance in increasing the photovoltaic efficiency of DSSC. Second, long-range ordered cubic mesoporous TiO2 films, prepared by using triblock copolymer-templated sol-gel method via evaporation-induced self-assembly (EISA) process, were utilized as an interfacial layer. Mesoporous TiO2 films seem to be one of the best interfacial layers, due to their additional effect, improving the adhesion to TCO and showing an anti-reflective effect. Third, we handled the issues related to the optimum thickness of interfacial layers. It was also found that in fabricating DSSC at low temperature, the role of interfacial layer turned out to be a lot more important. The self-assembled interfacial layer fabricated at room temperature leads to the efficient transport of photo-injected electrons from TiO2 to TCO, as well as blocking the back-reaction from TCO to I3-. As a result, fill factor (FF) was remarkably increased, as well as increase in Voc and Jsc.

Introduction: In orthognathic surgery, internal fixation has been usually done with titanium plates and screws. Recently, Biodegradable plates and screws have been frequently used but the reports of long term results of postoperative stability are rare, especially after maxillary reposition in orthognathic surgery. Objective: In order to clarify the clinical utility of self-reinforced bioresorbable poly-70L/30DL-Lactide miniplates & screws in maxillary fixation after LeFort I osteotomy, this study examined the postsurgical changes in maxilla and complications of biodegradable plates and screws. Study design: Nineteen patients who had undergone maxillary internal fixation using biodegradable plates and screws were evaluated radiographically and clinically. A comparison study of the changes in maxilla position after surgery in all 19 patients was performed with 1-week, 1-month, 3-months, 6-months and/or 1-year postoperative lateral cephalograms by tracing. Complication of the biodegradable plates and screws was evaluated by follow-up roentgenograms and clinical observation. And one-way ANOVA test was used for statistical analysis. Results: The position of the maxillary bone was stable after surgery and was not changed significantly from 1 week to 1 year after operation. And we could not find any complication of biodegradable plates and screws. Conclusions: Internal fixation of the maxilla after LeFort I osteotomy using self-reinforced biodegradable plates and screws is a reliable method for maintaining postoperative position of the maxilla after LeFort I osteotomy.
After its introduction in Korea, nail art is becoming active, especially among women in their 20s and 30s who are interested in fashion and beauty. Although self-nail tips are available online in various designs for each brand that is currently on the market, these designs and sizes of self-nail tips on the market are different for each age group. Since the design or size is not suggested for the different situations, there are difficulties in purchasing products that match the shape and size of nails of consumers. In this study, frequency analysis was performed using 'SPSS statistics 21.0 for windows program' to analyze data obtained by direct measurement method and 3D scanner measurement method for Korean women in their 20s. For comparative analysis between direct and 3D scanner measurements, a corresponding sample, 'T-test', was performed. As a result, we proposed the standardization of nail tip size after comparative analysis between direct measurement and 3D scanner measurement. Previous studies have been proceeding with direct measurement method. However, this study introduced a 3D scanner measurement method in the nail field and attempted the standardization of nail size by age group of Korean women. Importantly, this sutdy suggests standardization of nail tip size among missing body sizes.

This research surveyed oriental medicine therapies currently used in oriental medicine circles by referring to oriental medicine books-based existing traditional authentic therapies, as well as market-sold supplementary therapy-related ordinary health books and Internet information, and supplementary therapy-related dissertations, reviewed the fundamental operating significance of these therapies, and pursued their clinical operating measures based on their clinical information as follows Various therapies currently used in oriental medicine circles are categorized into authentic therapies and supplementary therapies in oriental medicine. Authentic therapies in Oriental medicine are based on bodily self-vitality abilities, pursue positive methods of treating diseases, and include medication therapies, acupuncture therapies, and external therapies. Supplementary therapies in oriental medicine are based on bodily self-vitality abilities, pursue indirect methods of treating diseases, and consist of lifestyle therapy and body management therapy. Authentic and supplementary therapies in Oriental medicine are used either separately or together according to clinical treatment methods. In treating diseases, clinical operating methods exclusively based on traditional authentic therapies and supplementary therapies include Donguibogam (anthology of ancient oriental medicine), Uihakipmun (introduction to medicine), Somun school, and bodily acupuncture according to diagnoses of symptoms, as well as sasangbang (prescription based on four types of bodily constitution), myeongribang prescription, hyeongsangbang prescription, and bodily constitution-based acupuncture according to diagnoses of bodily constitutions. In clinical operation of Oriental medicine, supplementary therapies are parity duplicated dy alternative medicine. However, given patients' needs and clinical practicality, Oriental medicine circles should establish a system based on the fundamental viewpoint of Oriental medicine theories, and corresponding policies should also be researched.

According to article 11 of the Public Records Management Act of Korea, metropolitan city, special self-governing city, province or special self-governing province should establish archival institutions for permanent preservation and management of records. As a result, the establishment and operation of archival institutions in Korea has been increase, but since it is still in the stage of introduction, the mission and role of these archives have not been specified by archives act. Therefore, we need to establish a proper legal basis to support it. To do this, it explores the archives act in China, Russia and Germany in terms of basic operational policy, collection and transfer of records, management of records, and service of records. As a result, the study presents some implications for the archives act for the management of archives in Korea.
The aim of this study was to develop and evaluate a nutrition education program that was designed to increase the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of Korean adults regarding nutrition labeling. The education program was 45 minutes of short-term training, which was conducted in the form of lectures and exercises. The contents of the program were as follows: in the introduction stage, talking about status and reasons for checking nutrition labels; in the development stage, explanation of nutrition labeling and their content, reading, and identifying sample nutrition labels, as well as comparing nutrition labels and selecting better foods; in the closing stage, summary of nutrition labeling and a pledge to check nutrition labels when purchasing processed food. A total of 53 adults (88.5% female) aged 30 years and over participated in this study. The nutrition labeling awareness of the subjects was increased significantly from 55.8 to 96.2% after the education. After the education, the correct recognition rate of a nutrition label was increased significantly from 26.9 to 78.8% for the amount of food, from 25.0 to 73.1% for the calorie content, from 36.5 to 69.2% for the nutrient contents, and from 30.8 to 82.7% for the percent daily value. The self-efficacy of checking nutrition labels was also increased significantly compared to that before the education. The overall satisfaction score of the nutrition education program was 4.2 out of 5. The outcome showed that the nutrition education program of nutrition labeling improved the participants' awareness and self-efficacy towards checking nutrition labels.

To improve the performance of self-driving cars, the introduction of V2X, a communication technology that connects vehicles, infrastructure, and vehicles, is essential. Even if traffic information of the other vehicle is known, the structure of the intersection and a distance calculation algorithm are required for accurate calculations at roundabouts. This paper proposes a design algorithm for a rotating intersection and implemented in Matlab that complies with the national design rules and enables accurate calculations. Assuming the roundabout and the entrance/exit path to be a circle, a method for measuring the distance between vehicles at an arbitrary point was proposed using the horizontal shift of the entrance circle to the main circle. The algorithm could be used in fully autonomous vehicles by designing a roundabout suitable for the terrain by arbitrarily varying the angle between branches and the radius of curvature of the entrance and exit roads, and transmitting a warning signal when a collision between two driving vehicles is expected.

The 2018 Seoul Zero Pay is a policy actively promoted by the government as an economic stimulus package for small business owners and the self-employed who are experiencing economic depression due to COVID-19. However, the controversy over the effectiveness of Zero Pay continues even after two years have passed since the implementation of the policy. Zero Pay is a joint QR code mobile payment service introduced by the government, Seoul city, financial companies, and private simple payment providers to reduce the burden of card merchant fees for small business owners and self-employed people who are experiencing economic difficulties due to the economic downturn., it was attempted in the direction of economic revitalization for the return of alleyways[1]. Therefore, this study intends to draw implications for improvement measures so that the ongoing zero-pay can be further activated and the economy can be settled normally. The analysis results of this study are as follows. First, it shows the effect of increasing the income of small business owners by inducing consumption in alleyways through the economic revitalization policy of Zero Pay. Second, the issuance and distribution of Zero Pay helps to revitalize the local economy and contribute to the establishment of a virtuous cycle system. Third, stable operation is being realized by the introduction of blockchain technology to the Zero Pay platform. In terms of academic significance, the direction of Zero Pay's policies and systems was able to identify changes in the use of Zero Pay through big data analysis. The implementation of the zero-pay policy is in its infancy, and there are limitations in factors for examining the consumer image perception of zero-pay as there are insufficient prior studies. Therefore, continuous follow-up research on Zero Pay should be conducted.
Along with the increasing need for point-of-care diagnostics, development of portable, user-friendly, as well as sensitive sensors have gained intensive attention. Among various strategies, electrochromic sensors, which are electrochemically operated colorimetric sensors, have been actively studied. With their ability to report the presence and concentration of analytes by optical signals, electrochromic sensors utilize the advantages of both electrochemical and colorimetric sensors, enabling the simplification of device composition as well as convenient interpretation of results. Up to date, electrochromic sensors have been applied for a wide range of analytes, and further developments such as the introduction of flexible platforms or self-powered systems have been reported, providing a path towards the development of wearable sensor devices. In this review, various types of electrochromic sensors, according to the main strategy in which the electrochemical signals are converted to colorimetric signals, are introduced.
