치위생과 학생의 긍정심리자본에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors influencing positive psychological capital of dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to explore ways to improve the level of positive psychological capital of dental hygiene students. After comparing the levels of positive psychological capital, social support, and emotional regulation ability of dental hygiene students and identifying correlations, the sub-factors of social support and emotional regulation ability that affect positive psychological capital were identified. Methods: A survey of 70 questions was conducted targeting 310 dental hygiene students in Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheong-do. The results were subjected to exploratory factor analysis, frequency analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis using the PASW statistics 18.0 program. Results: The level of positive psychological capital was high when students had high grades and perceived positive relationships with professors and peers (p<0.001). Factors highly correlated with positive psychological capital include 'self-emotional regulation ability' among 'emotion regulation abilities' (r=0.665, p<0.001), and 'emotional support related to daily life' recognized 'social support' (r=0.635, p<0.001), followed by 'social support' (r=0.602, p<0.001). Factors affecting positive psychological capital include 'self-emotion recognized ability' (β=0.377, p<0.001), 'quality of professor relationship' (β=0.201, p<0.001), and 'emotion control ability'. Among 'social support', 'emotional support related to daily life' (β=0.201, p=0.003) and 'grades' (β=0.159, p<0.001), and among 'social support', 'social-related support' (β=0.149, p=0.016), followed by 'grade' (β=0.076, p=0.043) were identified. Conclusions: To improve the positive psychological capital of dental hygiene students, efforts should be made to improve self-emotion regulation ability, professor relationships, emotional support related to daily life, and social support.

예비유아교사의 자아존중감이 자아탄력성과 정서조절능력 및 공감능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Preschool Infants' Self-elasticity on Emotional Control, Empathy, and Teacher Efficacy)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사의 자아존중감이 자아탄력성과 정서조절능력 및 공감능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데 있다. 연구대상은 I 소재지의 W대학교 유아교육과 대학생 230명을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 자료처리는 SPSS 24.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 예비유아교사의 자아존중감은 자아탄력성과 정서조절능력 및 공감능력에 유의미한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 각각의 하위변인에 있어서 자아탄력성에는 긍정성에 정서조절능력에는 자기정서조절능력에 그리고 공감능력에는 인지적 공감능력에 가장 큰 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자아존중감이 자아탄력성에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 하위변인 중 일반적 자아개념, 자기책임, 개인적인 성실 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자아존중감이 정서조절능력에 있어서는 개인적인 성실에 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 자아존중감이 공감능력에 미치는 영향은 자기주장이 공감능력에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 볼 때 예비유아교사의 자아존중감에 대한 중요성을 재인식하게 되었으며, 교육과정에 있어서 자아존중감을 향상시킬 수 있는 다양한 교육활동 연구가 필요함을 시사하는 사료가 된다.

유아의 활동성 기질과 자기조절능력과의 관계: 어머니-유아 관계, 교사-유아 관계의 중재효과 (The Relationship between Activity Temperament and Self-Regulation Ability in Young Children: The Moderating Effects of Mother-Child and Teacher-Child Relationships)

  • The purpose of this study was to find the moderating effects of mother-child and teacher-child relationships in regard to the relationship between activity temperament and self-regulation ability in young children. The participants were 236 mothers and 15 teachers who were in charge of children, who were 5 years old in kindergartens or childcare facilities in Incheon Metropolitan City. The key research findings of this study were as follows: Firstly, the children's activity temperament exerted negative influence over their behavioral and emotional self-regulation ability. Secondly, it was found that an affectionate relationship between mother and child was proven to have some moderating effect, thus influencing the relationship between activity temperament and self-regulation ability in a child. Anyway, there was no moderating effect of the rejection in mother-child relationships on the relationship between activity temperament and self-regulation ability in a child. Thirdly, it was found that both intimacy and conflict in teacher-child relationships had no moderating effects when it came to the relationship between activity temperament and self-regulation ability in young children.

어머니의 낙관성 및 수용적 양육태도가 유아의 자기조절에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Mother's Acceptance Parenting Attitude and Optimism on Children's Self-Regulation)

  • 본 연구에서는 어머니의 낙관성 및 수용적 양육태도가 유아의 자기조절에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 유아교육기관 재원 중인 만3, 4, 5세 유아 361명과 그들의 어머니 361명이었다. 어머니의 낙관성 및 수용적 양육태도는 자기 보고식 측정 도구를 사용하였고, 유아의 자기조절(인지조절, 정서조절, 행동조절)은 부모 평정을 통하여 측정 하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 자기조절이 연령에 따라 변화를 보이는지를 알아보기 위해 일원분산분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 유아의 인지조절과 행동조절은 연령에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였으나, 정서조절은 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 둘째, 어머니 낙관성의 하위요인이 유아의 자기조절에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 자기조절의 하위요인별로 회귀분석을 하였다. 그 결과, 낙관성 하위요인 중 지속성만이 자기조절 하위요인 모두에 영향을 주었다. 셋째, 어머니 수용적 양육태도의 하위요인이 유아의 자기조절에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 자기조절의 하위요인별로 단계적 회귀분석을 하였다. 그 결과, 수용적 양육태도 하위요인인 애정성과 권리가 자기조절의 하위요인 모두에 영향을 주었다. 독특성은 인지조절과 정서조절에 영향을 주었다. 이러한 결과는 어머니의 긍정적인 심리적 태도와 자녀에 대한 수용적인 자세가 유아의 자기조절 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미침을 시사해준다.

Effects of Electroencephalogram Biofeedback on Emotion Regulation and Brain Homeostasis of Late Adolescents in the COVID-19 Pandemic

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of electroencephalogram (EEG) biofeedback training for emotion regulation and brain homeostasis on anxiety about COVID-19 infection, impulsivity, anger rumination, meta-mood, and self-regulation ability of late adolescents in the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic situation. Methods: A non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. The participants included 55 late adolescents in the experimental and control groups. The variables were evaluated using quantitative EEG at pre-post time points in the experimental group. The experimental groups received 10 sessions using the three-band protocol for five weeks. The collected data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk test, Wilcoxon rank sum test, Wilcoxon signed-rank test, t-test and paired t-test using the SAS 9.3 program. The collected EEG data used a frequency series power spectrum analysis method through fast Fourier transform. Results: Significant differences in emotion regulation between the two groups were observed in the anxiety about COVID-19 infection (W = 585.50, p = .002), mood repair of meta-mood (W = 889.50, p = .024), self-regulation ability (t = - 5.02, p < .001), self-regulation mode (t = - 4.74, p < .001), and volitional inhibition mode (t = - 2.61, p = .012). Neurofeedback training for brain homeostasis was effected on enhanced sensory-motor rhythm (S = 177.00, p < .001) and inhibited theta (S = - 166.00, p < .001). Conclusion: The results demonstrate the potential of EEG biofeedback training as an independent nursing intervention that can markedly improve anxiety, mood-repair, and self-regulation ability for emotional distress during the COVID-19 pandemic.

학대받은 아동과 일반 아동의 정서지능과 정서조절 비교연구 (Comparative Study of Abused Children and General Children's Emotional Intelligence and Emotion Regulation)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the emotional ability between abused children and general children by comparing their emotional intelligence and emotional control. Participants were 17 abused children who had been separated from their abusers and 17 general children, all elementary school students. The answers to the questionnaire items on emotional intelligence and situations of emotional motivation were analyzed by Mann-Whitney U as a study tool. The results of this study were as follows: First, the difference of emotional intelligence between abused children and general children was statistically significant. Abused children received lower scores than general children when it came to their emotional recognition, emotional expression, empathy, and emotional regulation as a subordinate scope of emotional intelligence. Second, the difference of emotional regulation strategy between abused children and general children was statistically significant. Abused children presented negative responses and less frequently used positive strategy, inhibitory avoidance strategy and alternative strategy than general children. Third, the difference of emotional regulation motivation between abused children and general children was statistically significant. Abused children presented less prosocial motivation, motivation of self-preservation and normative motivation than general children.

서비스 종사자의 개인-직무적합성이 감정지능 및 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Study on Effects of Person-Job Fit of High Touching Service Employees on Emotional Intelligence and Job Satisfaction)

  • Purpose - In recent years, management scholars have expressed growing interest in the concept of person-Job fit because of having many benefits for employees' attitudes and behaviors. The related research is needed to determine what specific types of fit are related to each other, and to get important individual outcomes. Person-job fit of employees in service organization plays an important role in company as well as person in service industry. Person-job fit, representing the consistency between person (service provider) and job (service provided to the customers), gives significant and positive effects on the attitude and behavior of service provider. On the basis of the study background, the purpose of this study is as follows. First, we would like to examine the effects of person-job fit of service provider on their emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is divided into four sub-factors such as self-understanding, understanding others, emotional utilization, and emotional regulation. Second, we would like to identify the relationships between job satisfaction and sub-factors such as self-understanding, understanding others, emotional utilization, and emotional regulation. Research design, data, and methodology - We performed structural equation model using Spss 18.0 and Amos 20.0 in order to verify the hypotheses. Subjects were golf service assistants who were high-touching service with high degree in interaction and long contact time with customers. 178 out of the total 200 surveys were used in evaluation from helpers of golf service working as full-time service provider after selecting two locations of golf course located near Busan. From the evaluation of reliability and validity with variables used in this research, they satisfied and confirmed certain standard. Results - The results are as follows. First, as the results of identifying the relationships between person-job fit and emotional intelligence of service provider, person-job fit did not have positive and significant effect on self-understanding. On the other hand, it affected positively and significantly other factors in emotional intelligence such as emotion to others, emotional utilization, and emotional regulation. Second, as the results of identifying the relationship between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction, sub-factors in emotional intelligence such as emotion to others, emotional utilization, and emotional regulation except self-emotion affected significantly and positively job satisfaction. However, self-emotion did not have significant and positive effects on job satisfaction. Conclusion - These results will be valuable and used for service providers. In addition, many service providers will recognize that person-job fit is very important to get a job. This research has a purpose on the assumption that appropriateness between individual and task in service industry shall act as major influence in emotional intelligence of service provider. Recognitive ability of service provider is also very important per characteristics of service, but emotional intelligence that interacts and connected directly with most customers can be a very meaningful factor as well. Emotional intelligence allows people to recognize, understand, and empathize the emotion of customers shall be a positive reinforcement for customers to evaluate the service ultimately.

간호대학생의 간호전문직관과 감성지능이 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Nursing Professionalism and Emotional Intelligence on the Clinical Performance Ability in Nursing Students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the influences of nursing professionalism and emotional intelligence on the clinical performance ability of nursing students. Methods: The subjects of this study included 234 nursing students from three universities located in two regions of South Korea. Data were collected from June 15 to 30, 2018 by using self-reported questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis using the IBM SPSS 21.0 program. Results: The factors which influenced the clinical performance ability in nursing students were self-concept of the profession(β=.28, p<.001), roles of nursing service (β=.22, p<.001), use of emotion (β=.22, p<.001), self-emotional appraisal (β=.18, p=.002), regulation of emotion (β=.16, p=.004), and grade (β=.16, p=.002) which explained 51.7% of the variance. Conclusions: These results suggest that to improve clinical performance ability in nursing students, an intervention that enhances their nursing professionalism and emotional intelligence should be considered.

그림책을 활용한 협력활동이 유아의 자기조절력과 조망수용능력에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Collaborative Activities Using Picture Books on Self-regulation and Perspective-taking abilities of Young Children)

  • Objective: This study aimed to examine the effects of collaborative activities by utilizing picture books in order to improve the self-regulation and perspectivetaking abilities among four-year-olds. Methods: A total of 52 four-year-olds(control group 26, experimental group 26) attending two classes at D kindergarten located in B city participated in this study. Before and after the activities, all participants individually took a social perspective taking ability instrument and rated their self-regulation with a teacher. Data were analyzed by conducting ANCOVA in the way of setting pre-test scores as the covariate and post-test scores as the dependent variable. Results: First, the total and subarea of self-regulation in the experimental group was higher than the control group. Second, the cognitive and emotional perspective taking abilities in the experimental group were higher than the control group in all cares. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this study suggest that collaborative activities using picture books are effective in improving young children's selfregulation and perspective-taking abilities.

우뇌 기능을 활용한 정서조절 미술수업의 효과성 (Effectiveness of emotional regulation art class using right brain function)

  • 초등학생 시기는 정서조절을 영역에서 발달 단계상 미성숙하기 때문에 정서조절능력 배양이 필요하다. 미술수업에 정서조절을 접목해 진행하면 학생들의 인성 변화에 긍정적인 영향을 기대할 수 있기에 본 연구는 정서조절 증진을 위해 우뇌의 기능을 활용한 정서조절 미술수업을 진행하고 정서조절 증진의 효과성을 사전·사후 질문지와 사후 인터뷰를 통해 분석하여 결과를 도출하였다. 사전 사후 분석 결과 수업 이후 정서조절 하위 요소 중 '자기 정서 인식 및 표현', '타인 정서 인식 및 배려' 그리고 '대인관계'에서 통계적으로 높게 나왔다. 인터뷰 분석 결과 모든 학생이 정서조절 하위항목에서 긍정적인 효과가 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 결과적으로 수업 전보다 수업 후에 자신의 정서를 인식하고 이해하였으며, 부정적인 정서를 긍정적인 정서로 정화함으로 정서를 표현할 수 있는 효과가 있었다. 앞으로 정서조절 미술수업을 위한 다양한 교수 학습 방법을 적용한 프로그램 개발이 필요함을 제언한다.
