In this study, we hypothesized that the needs for start-up support services may vary depending on the founder's psychological characteristics, such as self-efficacy or his attitude toward uncertainty. To verify this, a survey was conducted on the founders of 86 companies located in Business Incubators at Seoul and Daejeon and an empirical analysis was conducted based on the data. According to the analysis, the higher the self-efficacy of the founder, the more active he expressed his willingness to accept the start-up support service, which aims to provide start-up zones to busy areas outside the university. While the founder, who has experienced failure in the past, responded positively to attracting customers located outside the university. The results of this study supported the hypothesis and suggest that differentiated start-up support services should be designed by including not only characteristics at the level of start-up companies, such as industries and growth stages, but also the psychological characteristics of start-ups in important consideration.

This study is about the effect of the founder's self-efficacy on the sales of the founding company by focusing on the factors that are currently emphasized in the founding education. In particular, this paper starts from the consciousness of the problem that the education that is being implemented to achieve the purpose of successful start-up among various government-based start-up support projects is failing to produce many start-up failures. Entrepreneurs cannot be assessed by objective financial data, but there is a high degree of uncertainty that should be determined based on their personal and learning abilities. In addition, many previous studies, which are likely to be successful when there is a high self-efficacy in a specific field due to the influence of factors such as personal experience or learning, will answer the direction of support for start-up companies. This study focuses on the impact of the founder's self-efficacy on the sales of the founding firms, especially the sales that are the key to the survival of the founding firms. This study has six major studies. First, to analyze whether the self-efficacy of entrepreneurs with respect to entrepreneurship affects the sales of entrepreneurs. Second, to analyze whether the self-efficacy of entrepreneurs with respect to market orientation affects the sales of entrepreneurs. Analysis of whether the founder's self-efficacy affects the sales of the founding firms. Fourth, analysis of whether the founder's self-efficiency affects the sales of the founding firms' understanding of management environment changes. An analysis of whether efficacy affects the sales of a start-up company, and sixth, an analysis of whether the founder's self-efficacy of business model building ability affects the sales of a start-up company. As a result of the empirical analysis, this study found that the self-efficacy of entrepreneurs on product differentiation capability and business model building capacity had a positive influence on the sales of entrepreneurs. The self-efficacy had a positive effect on self-efficacy, and the customer orientation had a positive effect on self-efficacy on business model building capacity. Also, it was confirmed that a path exists between the components of self-efficacy and that self-efficacy through the path has a positive effect on the sales of the start-up company. Therefore, the results of this study suggest the implications of establishing such a path and strengthening self-efficacy to create the survival and start-up performance of a start-up company if the goal of the start-up company is to survive when implementing various support projects for the start-up company.

The development of technology and the advent of a non-face-to-face society are expected to have a direct impact on job problems. In line with this phenomenon, the government and education and training institutions are coping with job problems through the start-up support policy while at the same time inducing the creation of innovative companies. In particular, youth start-up support can be expected not only to compensate for market failures, but also to promote high-growth start-ups. Based on this background of research, this study examined the competency of young entrepreneurs to start their own businesses, their entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and their impact on success and satisfaction of start-ups. Based on the theoretical research, the research theory and research model were derived by setting entrepreneurial self-efficacy as a mediating variable after reviewing the relation between the main elements of start-up competency of young start-up entrepreneurs and start-up performance. The Youth Entrepreneurship Competency was divided into four categories: Entrepreneurial Competencies, Technical Competencies, Management Competencies, and Creative Competencies, and the hypothesis was that each had a significant impact on the start-up performance through the mediating effect of entrepreneurial self-efficacy. A survey was conducted on young entrepreneurs in their 20s and 30s in Korea for empirical research, and the analysis results were as follows. First of all, the competency of young entrepreneurs to start their own businesses affects the success of start-ups and the satisfaction of start-ups. There are differences in the competencies, and both technical and management competencies can be seen through the entrepreneurial self-efficacy to enhance the success of start-ups and the satisfaction of start-ups. Entrepreneurial competency was fully mediated to start-up success and partially mediated to start-up satisfaction. In the case of creative competency, there were only direct effects on successful start-ups, and the satisfaction of start-ups showed partial mediating effects. Thus, seven of the eight detailed hypotheses were supported and one was rejected. Based on the above findings, the implications were presented.
Purpose - This study investigated the demographic characteristics of retirees who sought not to be reemployed or join an organization but, instead, to be self-employed. This study verified self-employment by regional and/or educational features to determine the self-employment factors and the policies required. Research design, data, and methodology - Models and hypotheses were used to verify the conversion into self-employment depending on retirees' demographic characteristics. This study investigated regions according to precedent studies and used SPSS 18.0 as follows. First, frequency was used to investigate the general characteristics. Second, a factor correlation analysis was done. Results - Hypothesis 1, which stated that, "retirees with low educational background often start a self-employed business," was significant. Hypothesis 2, which stated that, "retirees in metropolitan areas frequently start a self-employed business," was significant. Hypothesis 3, which stated that, "retirees in a megalopolis frequently start a self-employed business," was significant. Conclusions - A preliminary startup education was needed to lessen the losses. Retirees should have preliminary knowledge of actual self-employment conditions to be given a startup education.
This study investigated what factors influenced the willingness to work( or start-up) of the self-support program participants. And the hypothesis is that the willingness to work of the self-support program participants would be different according to their duration of program participation. The Survey was conducted participants in 11 local self-support center of Incheon Metropolitan city in the year 2013 and 2016. And it has been analyzed the factors affecting the willingness to work of long-term and short-term participants. The results of this study are as follows. First, the factors affecting all participants's willingness to work ( or start-up) were gender, educational background, experience of employment or start-up, availability of self-support allowance, familiarity with local self-support center's staff, attitude toward work, period of self-support subject participated. Second, long-term participants were affected by disability, educational background, experience of employment or start-up, and availability of self-support allowance. Finally, in the case of short-term participants, it was found that educational background, experience of employment and start-up, availability of self-support allowance, family intimacy and intimacy with local self-support center's staff were influenced.

As getting in 4th Industrial Revolution Times, Continuing Education Enrolled Students(CEES) trying to find loophole for jepordized current life and need job transfer have surged their interest significantly on starting new business to bring up their post career after retirement through self-improvement. Government and university have actively initiated diverse policies of promoting startup for CEES in kicking off entrepreneurship courses and programs. However, relevant main policy, 'The 2nd University Startup Education Five-Year Plan (draft)' have too chiefly focused on theoretical start-up education rather than practical courses, causing the problem of inappropriate support for implementing real startup and business (Ministry of Education, 2018). This study is brought to empirically investigate the effect of self-efficacy as perspective of the impact of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention and behavior to come up with problem of poor entrepreneurial environment and entrepreneurship education to CEES. As to empirical research, this paper deliver on-line survey to CEES from September to October 2022, collect 207 effective feedbacks, In order to verify the reliability of the scale, the Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient (Cronbach's α) was calculated, analyzed, and measured. For hypothesis test, this paper utilize the multiple regression analysis statistical analysis method and use the SPSS 22.0 statistical processing program. Empirical results show, first, it was found that self-efficacy had a significant effect on start-up education. Second, start-up education had a significant effect on the intention to start a business of adult learners. Third, start-up education had a significant effect on the start-up behavior of adult learners. Fourth, self-efficacy had a significant effect on the intention of adult learners to start a business. Fifth, self-efficacy had a significant effect on the start-up behavior of adult learners. Sixth, self-efficacy had a mediating effect in the relationship between entrepreneurship education and adult learners' intention to start a business. Seventh, self-efficacy had a complete mediating effect in the relationship between start-up education and adult learners' start-up behavior. This paper is brought three significant implications. First, main consideration developing entrepreneurship education tools for CEES need to falls on defining potential needs of CEES as segmenting as to coming up with diversity of CEES's characteristics such as gender, age, experience, education, and occupation. Second, as to design specific entrepreneurship education program, both practical training program of utilizing CEES's career field experience benchmarking best practice startup and venture cases from domestic and global, and professional startup program of CEES initiating directly startup from ideation to develop business plan with pitching and discussing. Third, entrepreneurship education for CEES should be designed to incubate self-efficacy to enhance entrepreneurial intention of implementing entrepreneurial behavior as a real, eventually leading solid support system of self-improvement for CEES' Retirement life planning.
This study is to investigate the influence of start-up factors and self-efficacy on the economic performances of the microenterprise. While the existing studies focused on start-up factors, this study has the meaning that it includes self-efficacy, the psychosocial factors, divides the economic performances by the profit and the number of employees. For this study, 322 copies of answered questionnaires were taken as the data to analyze. As the results of analysis business type, experience of start-up, period of operation, start-up fund and self-efficacy had the significant meaning out of the profit and it was checked out that business type, fund and self-efficacy influenced on the employees. This study discussed the policy and practical suggestion to raise the performances of microcredit based on these results.
The purpose of this study is to explore the factors affecting rural experience by applying the unified push-pull-mooring model. The theoretical model is an unified PPM model that introduces new variables based on PPM. The pull factor of the newly introduced variables were reconstructed based on the Schmitt's Experience model and ServQual model. The hypothesis is set as follows. The push factor will have a negative effect on experience satisfaction and the pull factor(experience attributes, service quality)will have a positive effect on experience satisfaction. Also, mooring factors will have a negative effect on experience satisfaction. The research model of this study was tested by structural equation model based on 314 effective questionnaire data. Service quality had a positive effect on experience satisfaction. Mooring factors have a negative effect on experience satisfaction. Push factor and experience attributes factor were analyzed to have a no significance effect on experience satisfaction. These results theoretically test that the mooring factors also have an important effect on the experience satisfaction in the rural experience. Based on the Schmitt's Experience model and ServQual model introduced as a pull factor, the proposed unified PPM model proved to be a useful analysis framework. In practice, it was able to provide implications on what factors should be strategically and marketingly focused to activate the 6th industry experience.This study examined the impact of start-up education and mentoring on the intentions of business start-up, and verified through empirical analysis whether self-efficacy and resilience were mediated between them. The study surveyed 178 people in their 20s to 50s. The result analysis used the IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0 Statistical Package Program. The analysis performed a regression analysis for factor analysis, correlation analysis, and hypothesis verification. Empirical Research Results. First, it was confirmed that start-up education and mentoring affect on the intentions of business start-up. Second, study shows self-efficacy and resilience has an affect on the intentions of business start-up. Third, start-up education and mentoring affect on self-efficacy and resilience. Fourth, self-efficacy and resilience have been proven to be mediated when entrepreneurship education and mentoring affect on the intentions of business start-up. The results of the research proved that start-up education and mentoring provides and acts as a major role in improving the entrepreneurs' willingness when preparing a start-up. Furthermore, the study also shows the importance of start-up education and mentoring as a proactive variable to promote their will to start-up business. In addition, it was confirmed that the self-efficacy investigated in the preceding study translated into the will to start a business. It was particularly meaningful in that it tested the role of resilience, which was mainly studied in new variables, education and psychology.

Many university students try to start up a lot because of career uncertainty, and this study reflected this environmental situation. The subject of the study is the degree to which subjective norms of university students affect the start-up intention. In addition, we looked at the mediated effects of self-efficiency and the moderated effects of security competence. To verify the hypothesis of the study, 201 university students in Seoul were asked about the relevant variables. And based on prior theory, hypotheses and questionnaires were made. In addition, the validity, reliability and correlation analysis of each variable were conducted. Multiple regression analysis was used for hypothesis analysis. As a result, subjective norms have a positive effect on the start-up intention. Next, self-efficiency was found to be mediating the relationship between subjective norms and start-up intentions. Finally, when subjective norms affect the start-up intention, security competence showed negative moderate effect. The implications of this study are as follows: First, a positive perception of start-up by those around them is needed when it comes to raising the intention of starting a business. This positive perception also affects the confidence and sense of challenge in start-up and affects their start-up intention. However, if career anchor prefer stable employment for the organization, it can be seen that they negatively affect the start-up intention.

This study is on the empirical results of correlation between start up education and experience before start up of a self employer entrepreneur with store and performance of the entrepreneur's store. Many latent self employers are lacking in education and experiences for start up. According to the result, first, practical education on start up influenced on entrepreneur's start up skill, and theoretical education influenced on entrepreneur's entrepreneurship. Second, entrepreneur's experience before start up influenced on both start up skill and entrepreneurship. Third, start up skill influenced on both financial and non financial performance of the entrepreneur's store. Finally, entrepreneurship influenced on both financial and non financial performance of the store.
