The purpose of this study was to evaluate the fitness of 4 kinds of resin record base materials. The record base materials used on the edentulous cast in this study were Triad VLC resin (Dentsply International Inc., U.S.A.), custom tray resin (Kerr Ltd., U.S.A.), heat-cure resin (Dentimex Co., Holland), and self-cure resin (Dentimex Co., Holland). The gap width between record base and cast were measured in the ridge crest and midpalatal area with microhardness tester. The results obtained were as follows : 1. Among the 4 kinds of record base, heat-cure Vertex fitted best on the cast. Triad and Fomatray fitted better than self-cure Vertex. Self-cure Vertex had the poorest fit. 2. The quality of the fit of the record base varied at different locations on the cast. The record base fit better in the ridge crest than midpalatal area. 3. In the midpalatal area, there's no significant difference in the fit of Fomatray, Triad and heat-cure Vertex. They all fit better than self-cure Vertex. 4. In the ridge crest, heat-cure Vertex fit better than any other record base.
The research which it sees against the self concept of part dental hygienes students from the hazard which it examines dental hygienes which is located on Kyoung-Buk and students 318 people in the object un-signature it enforced a research with the entry method which it got a same result. 1. From general characteristics of part hygiene students "the employment went well from the motive which selects hygiene" and it appeared most highly. The employment will go well and the social advance will do and ease when seeing specially with characteristics of college, it has an corresponding with the fact that is a possibility of employment.. 2. The average score against the self concept of part hygiene students "me it is an existence which is isolated from this world and nothing to do with the others". It appeared most highly with 3.52. The negation self concept appeared more highly affirmative self concept than. 3. To self concept and grade, religion, health condition, hygiene selection motive, subject record and native high school of part hygiene students the difference which considers statistically did not appear(p>0.05). However it tries to observe the self concept which it follows subject satisfactory degree, it is very unsatisfactorily(3.37) with it is unsatisfactorily(3.16) gaps it was not visible the difference which considers statistically, it is very satisfied(3.37) with the difference which considers statistically it was visible(p<0.05). Students the affirmative reaction is correct phenomenon in order to establish a specialty intuition. 4. When self concept and record and the subject satisfaction sees a interrelation for, Between self concept subject satisfaction is appeare big affirmative interrelation(r=0.331) and the subject record and subject satisfaction just interrelation appeared as well(r=0.282) all they considered statistically and appeared.(p=0.000) but to self concept and subject record for the interrelation did not appear. Negation self concept of part hygiene students appears more strongly than affirmative one, And studying for self concept of the students, it leads through the program which is the possibility to pull affirmatively is demanded.

There were significant differences in self-esteem and loneliness according to internet addiction. Internet addiction, self-esteem and loneliness were related to each other. Conclusion: These results indicate that internet addiction would be changed according to gender, record at school, economic status, attitude of mother, father, teacher and friend about internet. Therefore, further studies are needed to generalize these results and examine widely the related variables of internet addiction.
Purpose: This study was done to compare factors influencing children's self-esteem between two parent families and single parent families. Methods: The participants were 692 children aged 11 to 13 yr (388 in two parent families and 304 in single parent families) recruited from 20 community agencies and 5 elementary schools in Gyeonggi Province and Seoul City, South Korea. Data were collected from May to July, 2007 using a survey questionnaire containing items on self-esteem, internal control, problematic behavior, school record, family hardiness, parent-child communication and social support. The data were analyzed using SPSS 15.0 program and factors affecting children's self-esteem were analyzed by stepwise multiple regression. Results: Scores for the study variables were significantly different between the two groups. The factors influencing children's self-esteem were also different according to family type. For two parent families, internal control, problematic behavior, school record, and parent-child communication significantly predicted the level of self-esteem (adjusted $R^2$=.505, p<.001). For single parent families, social support, family hardiness, internal control, problematic behavior, school record, and parent-child communication significantly predicted the level of self-esteem (adjusted $R^2$=.444, p<.001). Conclusion: Nurse working with children should consider family type-specific factors influencing their self-esteem.

The objective of this study is to establish outcome validity for three instruments that assess whether subjects met recommendations for daily servings of fruits and vegetables for“Stage of Change”research. A convenience sample of 294 college students was recruited from introductory nutrition classes at Michigan State University in the United States. To measure servings of fruits and vegetables, separately, three types of methods (self-rated intake, 24-hour recall and food frequency) were used in comparison to the servings from a three-day food record, the criterion used. The outcome validity was assessed based on whether or not at least two servings of fruits and three servings of vegetables were reported. Validity was assessed by sensitivity, to measure the ability to detect low intakes, and by specificity, to measure ability to detect adequate intakes. Cohen's kappa was used as well to examine the agreement between the three methods and a three-day food record. The results showed, for fruits, the 24-hour recall had the best agreement (recall 0.54, self-rated : 0.31, food frequency : 0.29) with a three-day food record for servings consumed by people in pre-action or post-action stages. Sensitivity for fruit was also best using a recall (0.81). For vegetables, however, all three methods had low agreement (food frequency : 0.27, recall : 0.21, self-rated : 0.17) with the results of the three-day food record. Self-rated intakes for vegetables had the best sensitivity (0.66) and the food frequency had the best specificity (0.73). Therefore, researcher can use the 24-hour recall method to identify people who consume inadequate servings of fruit. To detect adequate vegetable intake, the food frequency was best of the three methods. Accuracy may be improved by probing for vegetables in mixed dishes and on sandwiches. Purpose: This study was done to investigate the relationship between self esteem, stress, depression and school adjustment among adolescents who were victims of bullying and those who were not. Methods: The questionnaire included the Peer Victimization Scale (Callaghan & Joseph, 1995), Self-esteem Scale, (Rosenberg, 1965), Daily Hassles Questionnaire (Feiner, Ginter & Primavera, 1982) and Center for Epidemiological Studies-Depression (Radloff, 1977). Data from 738 questionnaires were analyzed using frequencies, means, ${\chi}^2$-test, t-test and logistic regression analysis with SPSS 14.0. Results: Victims of bullying accounted for 19.8% of the students. Significant differences were found for grade, school record, family living together, satisfaction with parents and satisfaction with friends between students who were victims of bullying and those who were not. Self esteem and school adjustment for the victims of bullying were lower than for those in the non-victim group, and stress and depression were higher. The logistic regression analysis revealed that school record, family living together, satisfaction with friends, self esteem, friend related stress, family related stress and depression were significantly associated with being a victim of bullying. Conclusion: The result of this study offer basic data for the development of intervention programs to prevent students becoming victims of bullying.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the learning experience, self-directed learning ability and self-efficacy of Japanese nursing students undergoing portfolio-based clinical practicums. Methods: The self-directed learning ability and self-efficacy of nursing students were examined using two scales. And using a text-mining approach, we constructed correspondence analysis followed by cluster analysis of open-ended responses forms. Results: The mean score of the self-directed learning ability was $60.89{\pm}5.28$ and the generalized self-efficacy was $68.37{\pm}11.56$. Moreover, the scores in the self-directed learning ability were positively correlated with scores in the generalized self-efficacy. In correspondence analysis, the distribution of extracted words showed that record was located on the negative side of the third quadrant, to the first principal component and that patient was located on the positive side of the first quadrant, contributing greatly to the second principal component. Conclusion: The results of this study contribute to approaching to "confidence, pride, stability," "growth and intention to development'' offers a key in developing self-directed learning ability. Students record what they see and learn the importance of visualizing it in learning portfolios. "Expression in detail of the learned contents" and "concerning to which objective evaluation is suggested" are important to the students.

With the advance of Information Technology (IT) and dynamic requirements, diverse application services have been provided for end users. With huge volume of these services and information, users are required to acquire customized services that provide personalized information and decision at particular extent of time. The case is more appealing in healthcare, where patients wish to have access to their medical record where they have control and provided with recommendation on the medical information. PHR (Personal Health Record) is most prevailing initiative that gives secure access on patient record at anytime and anywhere. PHR should also incorporate decision support to help patients in self-management of their diseases. Available PHR system incorporates basic recommendations based on patient routine data. We have proposed decision support service called "Smart CDSS" that provides recommendations on PHR data for diabetic patients. Smart CDSS follows HL7 vMR (Virtual Medical Record) to help in integration with diverse application including PHR. PHR shares patient data with Smart CDSS through standard interfaces that pass through Adaptability Engine (AE). AE transforms the PHR CCR/CCD (Continuity of Care Record/Document) into standard HL7 vMR format. Smart CDSS produces recommendation on PHR datasets based on diabetic knowledge base represented in shareable HL7 Arden Syntax format. The Smart CDSS service is deployed on public cloud over MS Azure environment and PHR is maintaining on private cloud. The system has been evaluated for recommendation for 100 diabetic patients from Saint's Mary Hospital. The recommendations were compared with physicians' guidelines which complement the self-management of the patient.
