금연 TV광고의 내용분석 연구 -한국과 미국의 차이에 기반한 건강 커뮤니케이션 이론의 적용- (Content Analysis of Anti-Smoking TV advertisements: Different Adaptation of Health Communication Theories between Korea and the U.S.A.)

  • 이 연구는 한국과 미국의 텔레비전 금연 광고를 내용분석하여 어떤 차이를 보이는지를 조사하고자 하였다. 금연 광고의 메시지 구성에 있어서 모델이 되는 이론들에서 제시하는 요소를 종합하고 이러한 요소가 실제 한국과 미국의 금연광고에서 어떤 방식으로 나타나는지를 분석하고, 특히 한국과 미국의 문화적인 차이에 따른 광고 메시지의 차이를 발견하는 것을 주요 연구문제로 설정하였다. 이를 위해 2005년부터 2012년까지 한국의 금연광고와 같은 기간의 미국 금연광고를 샘플링하여 총 71개의 TV광고를 건강증진재단의 자료를 통해서 내용 분석하였다. 그 결과 금연광고는 건강 커뮤니케이션의 핵심 이론인 건강신념모델, 합리적행동이론, 사회인지이론등을 바탕으로 제작되었으며 이론적 토대를 바탕으로 시청자들에게 흡연에 대한 태도를 부정적으로 만들고 흡연을 하지 않게 하는 행동적인 목적을 수행하고 있음을 밝혔다. 조사결과에 따르면 한국의 금연광고는 사회적 규범의 메시지를 가장 많이 이용하였고, 그 다음으로는 흡연에 대한 태도 메시지를 사용하였으며, 자기효능감이나 모델링을 사용한 메시지는 가장 적게 사용한 반면, 미국의 경우에는 자기효능감이나 모델링을 사용한 메시지가 가장 많았다. 이러한 차이의 이유는 문화적 차이에서 기인하는 것으로 판단하였다. 금연광고에서 사용된 정서는 국가별 차이가 존재하지 않았으며 양국 모두 공포와 유머가 제일 빈번하게 사용되었으며 슬픔이나 단순정보전달, 분노는 상대적으로 적게 사용되었다. 청소년층만을 대상으로 광고가 제작된 경우는 양국 모두 많지 않았다. 이 연구에서는 금연광고에서 자주 사용된 메시지 유형과 그렇지 않은 유형을 발견함으로써 건강 커뮤니케이션의 이론적 요소가 실제로 어떻게 사용되고 있는지를 연구함으로써 금연광고의 학문적 이해에 기여하였다.

미국 노인의 낙상에 대한 두려움 예측모형에 관한 연구 (A Prediction Model of Fear of Falling in Older Adults Living in a Continuing-Care Retirement Community(CCRC) in United States)

  • 배경: 낙상은 노인의 가장 일반적이고 심각한 건강문제로 대두되고 있다. 낙상은 중요한 신체적 심리적 영향을 주며 결과적으로 신체적 행동약화나 기능의 위축, 사회적 기능 약화 등을 야기시킨다. 하지만, 상대적으로 낙상 후의 심리적, 정신적 부분은 간과되어져왔다. 낙상 후 노인들이 심리적 또는 정신적으로 보고하는 대표적인 증상으로는 다시 낙상을 할 것이라는 두려움으로 나타났다. 목표: 이 논문은 노인의 낙상에 대한 두려움에 영향을 주는 요인에 대한 모델을 테스트하는데 있다. 또한, 낙상에 대한 두려움에 영향을 주는 중요한 요인 중 하나인 노인의 운동과 운동에 대한 신념, 운동에 대한 기대감의 관계를 연구함에 있다. 방법: 미국 메릴랜드주 볼티모어시 지역에 거주하는 노인149명을 대상으로 2004 11월부터 2005년 3월까지 수집된 2차 자료를 이용해서 결과가 분석되었다. 참가 가능 노인으로는 본 연구에 참여하기로 동의한 노인을 대상으로, 노인요양시설에 거주하며, 인지적으로 이상이 없고 (MMSE>20), 65세 이상의 나이를 가진 노인을 대상으로 한다. 자료 수집은 구조화된 설문지를 통해서 이루어졌다. 자료 분석을 위해, SPSS 12.0을 통해 빈도분석과 상관분석 등이 사용되었고, 모델 평가를 하기 위해서 AMOS프로그램을 통해 path analysis를 시행하였다. 결과: 모델 내 49개의 path중에 13개의 path가 유의하게 나타났고 모델의 22%가 설명되어졌다. 모델의 확실성은 chi-square를 통해서 조사되었고 결과 모델의 확실성이 입증되었다. 또한, CFI 는 0.99 RMSEA는 0.00으로 모델을 지지하는 결과가 나타났다. 특히, 성별, 과거 낙상경험, 운동은 노인의 낙상에 대한 두려움을 설명하는 중요한 변수로 나타났다. 논의: 본 연구는 노인의 낙상에 대한 두려움을 총체적으로 설명하기 위한 모델을 제시한다. 또한, 운동에 대한 신념과 결과에 대한 기대치가 노인의 운동을 설명하는 직접적 변수로, 낙상에 대한 두려움을 설명하는 간접적인 변수로 나타났다. 이 연구는 노인들이 낙상의 두려움을 줄이기 위해 적극적으로 운동에 참여하도록 하는데 중요한 이론적 근거를 제공한다.

은퇴자와 예비은퇴자의 은퇴준비, 긍정심리자본 및 성공적 노화와의 관계 (Preparation for retirement of retirees and prospective retirees, positive psychological capital and Relationship to successful aging)

  • 본 연구는 은퇴자와 예비은퇴자를 대상으로 은퇴준비, 긍정심리자본 및 성공적 노화와의 관계를 알아보고, 은퇴자와 예비은퇴자 예비은퇴자들의 성공적 노화를 증진시키고, 긍정심리자본을 증가시켜 바람직한 노후시간을 가질 수 있는 방향을 모색하고자 한다. 본 연구는 구조적 관계분석으로 전국에서 은퇴를 준비하거나 은퇴한 은퇴자와 예비은퇴자 537명을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 자료수집기간은 2019년 4월 1일부터 4월 20일까지였다. 자료는 SPSS 20.0과 AMOS 9.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 상관관계분석, 구조관계분석을 하였다. 연구결과 은퇴자와 예비은퇴자의 은퇴준비는 성공적 노화에 부적인 관계가 있었으며, 은퇴준비도는 긍정심리자본의 탄력성, 자기효능감은 매개로 성공적 노화의 자아수용, 자율적 삶의 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 긍정심리자본의 긍정적인 심리요인은 은퇴준비 불안으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 은퇴자와 예비은퇴자에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳐서 성공적인 노후생활을 가능하게 해준다는 것이다. 따라서 은퇴준비프로그램을 운영할 때 긍정심리자본을 확충할 수 있는 프로그램의 편성과 운영이 필요하다.

일부 중년층의 구강건강신념과 구강병 예방행동의도, 구강병 예방행동에 관한 융합적 관계 (Converged Relationship between Oral Health Beliefs, Oral Disease Preventive Intention and Oral Disease Preventive Activities in Partial Middle Aged Adults)

  • 본 연구는 중년층을 대상으로 구강건강신념과 구강병 예방행동에 관한 융합적 관계를 분석하였다. U시 일부 중년층 280명을 최종 분석 대상으로 하였다. 회귀분석의 결과로 볼 때 구강건강신념 중 구강병 예방행동의도, 구강병 예방행동에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 구강건강은 가치 있는 것이라고 느끼는 중요성이었다. 구강병 예방행동의도를 매개로 직간접적 영향을 알아본 결과, 중요성, 유익성 변인이 구강병 예방행동에 미치는 영향은 부분매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났고, 자기 효능감은 완전매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과, 이미 구강병에 이환되어 심각성과 장애를 느끼고 있는 중장년층의 구강예방행동을 수행할 수 있도록 하기 위해서는 구강 건강이 전신질환만큼 중요하다는 중요성과 구강건강이 전신건강에 유익하다는 것을 계몽할 수 있는 중재프로그램 개발이 필요 하겠다.

A Study on Measures to Increase Student Enrollment in Community Colleges : Based on the Case of G College

  • In this study, for students who gave up their studies midway through college, we investigate the reasons for dropping out of college, analyze the factors that caused students to drop out, and suggest improvement measures to effectively increase the recruitment rate of enrolled students. This study explores measures to increase student enrollment in community colleges. For this purpose, it conducted a survey of students who dropped out of G College between 2018 and 2020 from June 28 to July 9, 2021. Its analysis is based on the results of 53 students who participated in the survey. First, our results suggest that programs to develop interpersonal relationships between students, faculty, and staff are necessary. Such programs will cultivate a culture of solidarity and collective identity among students, which in turn will reinforce positive experiences in college. Moreover, by developing systems to form relationships between faculty and students, colleges can have a feedback mechanism, such as an open-study program, through which they learn what the students want and need. Through this effort, colleges can help their students adjust to campuses and enhance student satisfaction in college. Second, it is necessary to develop various extracurricular programs not only for freshmen but existing students and to run hobby and leisure activity programs. To have continuous, standing extracurricular programs instead of one-time events, colleges should set up specific goals, delivery methods and strategies. Third, colleges should renovate old and outdated buildings and facilities on campus to enhance the quality of campus life. Moreover, more comprehensive improvement of facilities and a campus environment by having various convenient and leisure facilities that meet the needs and demands of students. Fourth, it is suggested to develop programs or systems that help students to more fully engage in campus lives and activities, which in turn increases confidence and self-efficacy among students. Through such programs, students can better adjust to their majors and, therefore, will be less likely to drop out of college.

고등학생의 건강 및 삶의 질에 대한 진단적 연구 - PRECEDE 모형을 근간으로 - (A Diagnostic Study on High School Students' Health and Quality of Life - Based on the PRECEDE model -)

  • Health education, as the most fundamental concept for national health promotion, alms for developing the self-care ability of the general public. High school days are regarded as the period when most important physical, mental and social developments occur, and most health-related behaviors are formed. School health education is one of the major learning resources influencing health potential in the home and community as well as for the individual student. High school health education in Korea has a fundamental systemic flaw in that health-related subjects are divided and taught under various subjects areas at school. In order to achieve the goal of school health education, it is essential to make a systematic assessment of the learner's concerns connected with his health and life, and the factors affecting them. So far, most of the research projects that had been carried out for improving high school health education were limited in their concerns to a particular aspect of health. Even though some had been done in view of comprehensive school health education, they failed to Include a health assessment of the learner. Therefore, in this study the high school students' concerns related to health and life were investigated in the first place on the basis of the PRECEDE model, developed by Green and others for the purpose of a comprehensive diagnostic research on high school health education. This study was done in two steps : one was the basic study for developing research instrument and the other was the main one. The former was conducted at five high schools in Seoul and Cheongju for 2 months-beginning in March, 1996. The students were asked to respond to questions related to their health and lives in unstructured open-ended question forms. On the basis of analysis of the basic study, the diagnostic instruments for the quality of life, health problems, health behavior and educational factors were constructed to be used for the collection of data for main study. An expert panel and the pilot study were used to improve content validity and reliability of the instruments. The reliability of the instruments was measured at between .7697 and .9611 by the Cronbach $\alpha$. The data for this study were collected from the sample consisted of the junior and senior classes of twenty general and vocational high schools in Seoul and Cheongju for two months period beginning in July, 1996. In analyzing the data, both t-test and $X^2$-test were done by using SAS-$PC^+$ Program to compare data between the sexes of the high school students and the types of high school. A canonical correlation analysis was carried out to determine the relationships among the diagnostic variables, and a multivariate multiple regression analysis was conducted by using LISREL 8.03 to ascertain the influences of variables on the high school students' health and quality of life. The results were as follows : 1) The findings of the hypothesis tests (1) The canonical correlation between the educational diagnosis variables and behavioral, epidemiological, social diagnosis variables was .7221, which was significant at the level of p<.001. (2) The canonical correlation between the educational diagnosis variables and the behavior variables was .6851, which also was significant (p<.001). (3) The canonical correlation between the behavioral diagnosis variables and the epidemiological variables was 4295, which was significant (p<.001). (4) The canonical correlation between the epidemiological diagnosis variables and the social variables was .6005, which was also significant (p<.001). Therefore, the relationship between each diagnosis variable suggested by the PRECEDE model had been experimentally proven to be valid, supporting the conceptual framework of the study as appropriate for assessing the multi-dimensional factors affecting high school students' health and quality of life. Health behavior self-efficacy, the level of parents' interest and knowledge of health, and the level of the perception of school health education, all of which are the educational diagnostic variables, are the most influential variables in students' health and quality of life. In particular, health behavior self-efficacy, a causative factor, was one of the main influential variables in their health and quality of life. Other diagnostic variables suggested in the steps of the PRECEDE model were found to have reciprocal relations rather than a unidirectional causative relationship. The significance of this research is that it has diagnosed the needs of high school health education by the learner-centered assessment of variety of factors related to the health and the life of the students. This research findings suggest an integrated system of school health education to be contrived to enhance the effectiveness of the education by strengthening the influential factors such as self-efficacy to improve the health and quality of the lives of high school students.

저체중출생아를 위한 가정간호형 모성역할중재 프로그램 개발과 그 효과에 대한 연구 (Development of a Home-based Nursing Intervention, Mothering Program for Low-Birth-Weight Infants)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a parenting intervention program and determine the efficacy of the program with low-birth weight infants and their mothers. Nine dyads for the experimental group and twelve dyads for the control group discharged from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a University Hospital in Seoul were recruited for the study. For the intervention group, programmed education and support which focused on the maternal sensitivity of the infant's behavior. rearing environment. motherinfant interaction and infant care were given to each subject. Individual counseling and home visits were provided at discharge, one week after discharge. and one and three months of corrected age in every infant. Structured questionaires were administered and feeding interactions were videotaped and coded by a blinded certified observer. A Quasi-experimental design was conducted for this study. Postpartum depression, maternal self esteem. infant care burden, HOME. mother-infant interaction, and infant development were measured. Results were in favor of the intervention versus the control group. On the Beck depression inventory, intervention mothers showed decreasing trends in depressive symptom vs control mothers although, there were statistically no significant differences between the two groups at each time. The mean score of experimental group was 11.55(mild depression state) at discharge and became 8,6(normal state) at 1 month of corrected age. On the other hand, the mean score of the control group was 13.92(mild depression state) at discharge and became 14.0. Maternal self esteem in both groups improved over time. Infant care burden in both groups was also shown to increase over time. There was a significant difference between the two groups in HOME(p=.0340) at 3 months of corrected age. HOME scores of the experimental group and the control's were 31.10 and 25.58, respectively. Mothers' emotional and language responses were significantly high in the intervention group compared with the control group(p=.0155). Intervention group (53.33) showed a significantly high quality of motherinfant interaction compared with the in control group (42.80)(p =.0340). Intervention group mothers appeared have a better quality of mother-infant interaction behaviors. On the other hand, there was no statistical difference in the infant part between groups. Intervention group infants had higher trends in a general developmental quotient: although, there was no statistical difference between groups. The general developmental quotient of intervention infants was 102.56 and control's was 91.28. However, the developmental quotient of the domain of 'individuality-sociality' was higher in the intervention group infants compared with the control's(p=.0155). The concerns identified by parents revealed two domains of an infants' health management -knowledge and skills in caregiving of lowbirthweight-infants, characteristics of lowbirthweight infants, identifying a developmental milestone, coping with emergency situations and relaxation strategies of mothers from the infant care burden. Interview data with the mothers of low-birth weight infants can be used to develop intervention program contents. Limited intervention time and frequency due to time and cost limitations of this study should be modified. The intervention should be continuously implemented when low-birth weight infants become three years old. An NNNS demonstration appeared to be a very effective intervention for the mothers to improve the quality of mother-infant interactions. Therefore intervening in the mothers of low-birth weight infants as early after delivery as possible is desirable. This study has shown that home visit interventions are worthwhile for mothers only beyond the approach as an essential factor in ability of facilitating a growth fostering environment. In conclusion. the intervention program of this study was very effective in enhancing the parenting for the mothers of low-birth weight infants, resulting in health promotion of low-birth weight infants. The home-visit outreach intervention program of this study will contribute to the health delivery system in this country where there is a lack of continuous follow-up programs for low-birth weight infants after discharge from NICU, if it is activated as part of the home visit programs in community health systems.

기술 준비도와 소비자 준비도가 Self Service Technology 사용동기와 태도 및 사용의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of TR and Consumer Readiness on SST Usage Motivation, Attitude and Intention)

  • 정보기술의 활용이 마케팅 전략의 중요한 부분으로 부각되는 시장 환경에서 본 논문에서는 패스트푸드 레스토랑에서 주문시 Self Service Technology(SST)를 사용 할 때 기술준비도와 소비자 준비도에 따른 사용동기, 태도, 사용의도의 차이를 검증하고자 하였다. Parasuraman이 TRI를 개발한 이후 SST와 TRI를 접목한 연구가 이루어져 왔지만 여전히 부족한 실정이다. 소비자 준비도 역시 SST사용에 대한 소비자의 동기와 태도 및 의도와 직접적인 영향을 미칠 수 있지만 이에 대한 연구는 이루어지지 않았다. 이에 본 연구에서는 패스트푸드 레스토랑에서 터치스크린 SST를 도입함에 있어 소비자의 기술준비도와 소비자 준비도가 Dabholkar & Bagozzi(1994)가 제안한 SST 핵심태도모델에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다. 이때 모든 소비자와 상황적 요인에 따른 차이를 파악하고자 자아의식, 상호작용욕구, 기술에 대한 두려움 등의 소비자특성과 지각된 대기시간, 지각된 과밀 등의 상황적 요인에 따른 조절 효과를 검증하였다. AMOS 18.0프로그램을 사용하여 구조방정식 모델로 분석하였고 연구 결과 기술준비도 중 낙관성은 사용용이성과 재미 동기에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 혁신성은 사용용이성과 성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 역할의 명확성, 능력 및 자아 효능감으로 구성된 소비자준비도는 사용용이성, 성과와 재미 등 모든 SST사용동기 요소에 기술준비도보다 강하고 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 SST 핵심태도모델 내의 SST 사용 동기, 사용 태도 및 사용의도 간의 관계에서 소비자 특성과 상황적 요인의 조절효과를 검증한 결과 지각된 과밀을 제외한 모든 변수들이 조절효과를 지니는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 터치스크린 SST를 도입하려는 기업에 실무적 제언을 하였다.

고등학생의 한의약 의료 이용 형태 및 인식에 관한 연구 (A Study for Usage Patterns and Recognition toward Korean Medicine in Korea High School Students)

  • Objectives : This study is to research on usage patterns, recognition of system to Korean medicine among high school students who are the potential future medical consumer. Methods : Based on the questionnaire used by KIHASA(Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs) in 2011 and KHIDI(Korea Health Industry Development Institute) in 2014, modifications were made to make questionnaire more suitable for this research. This self-administered questionnaire was conducted among 1,025 highschool students of 3 high schools in Ulsan city on september, 2015. Except 19 cases which considered statistically insignificant or with unreliable responses, 1,007 cases were analyzed by p-paired test and ANOVA test through the SPSS 22.0 for Win program. Results : Most of the high school students(66.5%) do not have an experience on Korean medical care. The number of students' first experience on Korean medical care is the largest during their elementary school (34.9%), which means the treatment was mostly for restorative reasons like growth care. The later the time of their first experience on Korean medical care, the higher ratio was shown on their recent utilization of Korean medical care. Korean medicine was rarely covered in most cases of public health education at school, and this public health education and usage pattern on Korean medicine have positive correlation. Compared 'Group who have used Korean medical care in 1 years except recent 3 months' to the 'Group who have used Korean medical care in 3 recent months', the former showed higher recognition in Korean medical care and insurance system. Conclusions : The proportion of Korean medicine is as low as 4.5% to whole medical market, and most of the consumers are senior. In addition, the aging phenomenon of Korean medical consumer have been continued. This specialized study on usage patterns and recognition among youth can be the basic research data which can be used for promotion, education and establishment of health policy and health care system.
