The data were analyzed by using the SPSS(PC+) program. The information was obtained by use of Mean, Standard Deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient and ANOVA. The results were as Follows; 1. Among the categories of management of menopause, dietary management($3.74{\pm}1.25$) was the highest and management of exercise and activity ($3.35{\pm}0.93$), self contorl($3.13{\pm}1.21$), management of professional health maintenance($2.75{\pm}1.32$), management of sex life($2.11{\pm}1.92$) were in order. 2. On considering the relationship between the climacteric-women's management of menopause and their general characteristics, age(r=-0.38, P=0.00) and educational background(F=4.8247, P=0.00) were statistically significant.

Method: The sample consisted of 279 nurses from 3 university affiliated hospitals. Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires and analyzed using Pearson correlation and hierarchical regression. Result: Transformational leadership has greater influence on organizational commitment for nurses. Psychological empowerment and three transformational leadership(charisma, individualized consideration and inspiration) has direct effects on organizational commitment. Psychological empowerment did not interact the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational commitment. • This study has been designed to explore how the types of housing life-style relate to the preferences of internal and external spaces among multi-family housing residents. Data were collected by questionnaire self-administered to 278 female residents living in multi-family housing over 20s pyong (66$m^2$) in the Kwangju area. General linear model/Duncan-test, and $x^2$-test were used in analyzing the data. In the preferences of internal space, there were significant differences in the needs of an indoor garden, exercise spaces, and a front balcony and in the concept of the living room and the dining-kitchen by types of housing life-style. In the preferences of external spaces, there were significant difference in the preferred type of housing, the preferred residential area, and in the need of an individual storage space and a walking path by types of housing life-style.

  • We describe a research about remote control of mobile robot based on voice command in this paper. Through real-time remote control and wireless network capabilities of an unmanned remote-control experiments and Home Security / exercise with an unmanned robot, remote control and voice recognition and voice transmission are possible to transmit on a PC using a microphone to control a robot to pinpoint of the source. Speech recognition can be controlled robot by using a remote control. In this research, speech recognition speed and direction of self-driving robot were controlled by a wireless remote control in order to verify the performance of mobile robot with two drives.

  • Chronic diseases management can be effectively achieved through early detection, continuous treatment, observation, and self-management, rather than a radar approach where patients are treated only when they visit a medical facility. However, previous studies have not been able to provide integrated chronic disease management services by considering generalized services such as hypertension and diabetes management, and difficult to expand and link to other services using only specific sensors or services. This paper proposes clinical rule flow model based on medical data analysis to provide personalized care for chronic disease management. Also, we implemented that as Rule-based Smart Healthcare System (RSHS). The proposed system executes chronic diseases management rules, manages events and delivers individualized knowledge information by user's request. The proposed system can be expanded into a variety of applications such as diet and exercise service in the future.

Yangsaeng as a traditional health care regimen for the promotion of health and prevention of illness by means specific principles and methods, whose purpose was to improve longevity and healthy life. Method: The subjects of this study were 196 male adults in Korea. Data were collected by using a self-reported questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient, t-test, ANOVA and multiple linear regression. Results: There was statistically significant difference in Yangsaeng and fatigue according to age and education. The relationship between Yangsaeng and fatigue had a significant negative correlation. Exercise, sleep, mind Yangsaeng were found to be significant predictors (28%) of fatigue. Conclusion: To prevent fatigue of adults, nurse should focus on the factors identified in this study when she develop nursing intervention programs for health promotion.

  • Purpose: In 2015, South Korea had the highest global smartphone penetration (88%). However, smartphone addiction can seriously disrupt daily life and have a major negative impact on academic achievement. Methods: A structured questionnaire was completed by 250 nursing students for this descriptive study. Results: Students who were older, more satisfied with their major, exercised, and used their smartphone for less than 30 minutes before sleeping had higher learning engagement than those who were younger, less satisfied, did not exercise and used their smartphone for more than three hours. Quality of sleep and smartphone addiction were negatively correlated as was quality of sleep and daytime sleepiness. Interestingly, sleep pattern did not impact learning engagement directly. Conclusion: Smartphone usage influences learning engagement of nursing students rather than their sleeping patterns, which suggests a need to develop self-disciplining strategies for smartphone use to enhance learning engagement.

  • In this paper, we planned to see the positive effects of the immersive virtual environment. In particular, the positive effect of presence on physical performance was explored. A total of 25 participants were recruited for this experiment and his/her physical performance was measured by Electromyography (EMG) while they were exercising (rowing), and presence was measured by a self-reported measure. The participants were randomly assigned to experience either a) Virtual Reality (VR) or b) non-VR (2D screen) condition when they played the exergame. The result showed that 1) there was a positive relationship between representation mode and presence and 2) the higher level of presence reinforced the user's physical performance. The limitation of the study and future study were also discussed.

  • This study was carried out to investigate nutrient intake, dietary self-efficacy, and physical activity self-efficacy of elementary school students by obesity index in Gyeongbuk area. The survey was conducted from June 7 to June 18 in 2005. The study was peformed by analyzing a questionnaire answered by 523 elementary school student in 5th and 6th grade. The obesity index was gained by height and weight data. Nutrient intakes was evaluated by 24hr-dietary record. Statistical data analysis were completed using the SPSS 12.0 program. The results were summarized as follows; The result of the body measurement was that 31.7% of underweight group, 45.1% of normal group, 12.8% of overweight group, 10.3% of obese group. 13.9% of underweight group experienced weight control, and 17.5% of the subject respond they will try the weight control in the future. Male students showed significantly higher exercise frequency than female students(p<0.001). Male underweight group and female obese group show the highest exercise frequency. Daily energy intake of the subject showed 80.1% in male students and 87.5% in female students revealed under the recommended dietary allowance(RDA) for Korean. The intake ratio of energy nutrients was identical in male and female of underweight group and obese group, so this showed that intake style was similar in two groups. By investigating through MAR(mean adequacy ratio), underweight group of male students and both normal and overweight group of female students were lowest, while overweight group of male students and underweight group of female students were the highest. Physical activity self-efficacy of male students was higher than female students, and physical activity self-efficacy by obesity index was higher in underweight group of male students and obese group in female.
