Comparision of Self-disclosure and Self-esteem between Baccalaureate and Associate Degree of Nursing Students. (4년제와 3년제 간호대학생의 자기표출과 자아존중감의 비교)

  • The purpose of this study was investigate the self-disclosure and self-esteem of senior nursing students in two types of nursing education programs : baccalaureate and associate programs. The subjects were comprised of 365 associate degree nursing students from five junior college and 297 baccalaureate degree nursing students from six universities. The data were collected conveniently by self reporting questionnaires given to the students from september 13 to october 23, 1999. The instruments used JSDQ and Self-esteem scale. The data were analyzed by $SAS/PC^+$ program using descriptive statistics, $x^2-test$, t-test, pearson correlation coefficient. The results of this study are as follows : 1. There was significant difference in religion(p=.001), motive of entrance of college( p=.001) and satisfaction of nursing practice(p=.038) between baccalaureate degree nursing students and associate degree. 2. The extent of self-disclosure in baccalaureate degree nursing students had significantly higher than that in associate degree nursing students(p=.0022). 3. An object for self-disclosure were girlfriend, mother, boyfriend and father successively. 4. The extent of self-esteem in baccalaureate degree nursing students had significantly higher than that in associate degree(p=.0224). 5. The relationship between self-disclosure and self-esteem revealed a positive significant correlation(r=.2628, p=.0001).

Study on Analyzing Main Cause of Dental Technicians' Moraleand Management to Promote their Morale (치과기공사의 사기 요인 분석과 관리 방안에 대한 연구)

  • The organization to which we belong is the place where we make social relationships, satisfy our desires of self-realization, and accomplish our common object. The emotional and psychological state of individual as well as the whole organization is able to be explained in the concept of morale. The researcher selected a total 238 dental technicians living in seoul, and conducted a research in a period ranging from April 1, 2004, to April1 10, 2004. The researcher analyzed the findings with the aid of SPSS (Statistical package for social sciences). The researcher came to reach the following conclusions on the basis of frequency, percentage, T-test, F-test, and multiple regression. The results of this study were as follows: First, there is a significant difference in recognizing morale due to their age, academic background, their work places, position, part of objective, and working hours(p<.05). Secondly, The researcher there is a significant difference in recognizing due to their social welfare, payment, fair and objective personnel management, enough opportunities of self development, and autonomy(p<.05). Lastly, this study is very limited in generalization because it deals with a small part of morale management plans and objectifies very limited organization. But, it is very meaningful in trying to approach morale management plans with an object of dental technicians. It is necessary that dental technicians should make efforts to control themselves.

  • Object classification is one of the main fields in neural networks and has attracted the interest of many researchers. Although there have been vast advancements in this area, still there are many challenges that are faced even in the current era due to its inefficiency in handling large data, linguistic and dimensional complexities. Powerful hardware and software approaches in Neural Networks such as Deep Neural Networks present efficient mechanisms and contribute a lot to the field of object recognition as well as to handle time series classification. Due to the high rate of accuracy in terms of prediction rate, a neural network is often preferred in applications that require identification, segmentation, and detection based on features. Neural networks self-learning ability has revolutionized computing power and has its application in numerous fields such as powering unmanned self-driving vehicles, speech recognition, etc. In this paper, the experiment is conducted to implement a neural approach to identify numbers in different formats without human intervention. Measures are taken to improve the efficiency of the machines to classify and identify numbers. Experimental results show the importance of having training sets to achieve better recognition accuracy.

  • The public has only a superficial understanding of the computer games, in spite of it's psychological effects and social results. Therefore, in this study, one finds out the serious approach which leads the computer games to recognize its future in terms of new media. Stand-point from Freud to french post-structuralist, it helps the introduction to understand the computer games as a kind of contents in which we are able to observe psychological process. As a result, there are studies about the structure of the dream, the desire, and the language which allow to mention 'parmakon' ; 'difference' between self and object, it provokes the psychological dynamism and so on, the playing the game remains a real trace and change, at the level not only of our psyche but also of our body.

  • This study is about the special quality which has craft-kitsch as a typical objects in modern mass consumption society. Today, kitsch is one of the most general object for understanding of our lifestyle. Accordingly, there is close correlation between craft objects and kitsch. But, discussions on the relation between craft and kitsch have not dealt quite satisfied up to the present. This paper draws up as a basic study on craft-kitsch.   • In this study, the characteristics of Ultrasonic Transducer fabricated with PZT-Polymer 1-3 type piezoelectric ceramic/polymer composite are investigated. 3-D underwater object restoration using the self-made ultrasonic transducer and modified SCL(Simple Competitive Learning) neural network was presented. The ultrasonic transducer was satisfied with the required condition of commerical ultrasonic transducer in underwater. The modified SCL neural network using the acquired object data $16\times16$ low resolution image was used for object restoration of $32\times32$ high resolution image. The experimental results have shown that the ultrasonic transducer fabricated with PZT-Polymer 1-3 type piezoelectric ceramic/polymer composite could be applied for SONAR system.

Measurement Tools for the Practice of Caring and Sharing by Adolescents (청소년의 배려와 나눔 실천을 위한 측정도구 개발 연구)

  • This study develops a scale to measure the practice of consideration and sharing by adolescents. This data as an object of high school students in regards to items generated from the content validity test and preliminary study stage based on the consideration scale, literature review and expert for elementary school students on a 5-point Likert scale. The factor analysis of the collected data using SPSS 20.0 2 indicated the final fators. The three fanal factors designated by the measuring items are: 'practice of consideration and sharing', 'recognition of consideration and sharing', and 'self-recognition'. As a result of analyzing students' individual variables, this study found that family relationship satisfaction and school life satisfaction had positive relationship in self-recognition, recognition of consideration and sharing, practice of consideration and sharing, and total personality score. The measurement tools developed in this study, are expected to act as valid tools to develop a program that can increase the practice of consideration and sharing activities.

A Study on the Principle of F.O.A Construction Space Creation Viewed from the Discussion of Otherness (타자성의 담론으로 본 F.O.A 건축 공간생성 원리에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out how the otherness philosophy reveals itself in the principle of F.O.A construction space creation. The traditional philosophy of totality is self-centered and thoughts are based on the subject. It couldn't escape from the world associated with the self, and has subordinated the other to the main body. But the philosophy of otherness transcends the subject, to the open, creative way of thinking which acknowledges deconstruction, decentralization, and non-hierarchy. This is very similar to contemporary architecture, which pursuits change, and also to the current state of society. In construction by the construction group F.O.A, which is doing notable activity this generation, there is an attempt to transcend the fixed subject which is seen in the otherness discussion, and realize recategorization by overcoming the boundaries of subject and object. First, by the realization of landscape architecture using a topographical folding technique, boundaries of the subject and object are demolished in the relationship of the landscape construction, and recategorization. Second, by breaking up the meaning of the surface which is a visual and physical boundary for both the internal and external, recategorization is being done. Third, by making the boundary between the interior and exterior indistinct, cognitive threshold is dissolved, and the relationship between the subject and object is being recategorization. In conclusion, we can see that the many recategorization phenomenons that are happening in the F.O.A construction show the otherness that escapes from the conventional and stationary relationship, and recognizes each other at the same time, forming new relationships.

  • Smart manufacturing (SM) considered as a new trend of modern manufacturing helps to meet objectives associated with the productivity, quality, cost and competiveness. It is characterized by decentralized, distributed, networked compositions of autonomous systems. The model of SM is inherited from the organization of the living systems in biology and nature such as ant colony, school of fish, bee's foraging behaviors, and so on. In which, the resources of the manufacturing system are considered as biological organisms, which are autonomous entities so that the manufacturing system has the advanced characteristics inspired from biology such as self-adaptation, self-diagnosis, and self-healing. To prove this concept, a cloud machining system is considered as research object in which internet of things and cloud computing are used to integrate, organize and allocate the machining resources. Artificial life tools are used for cooperation among autonomous elements in the cloud machining system.

  • This paper presents an optimization algorithm for a stable Self Dynamic Neural Network(SDNN) using genetic algorithm. Optimized SDNN is applied to a problem of controlling nonlinear dynamical systems. SDNN is dynamic mapping and is better suited for dynamical systems than static forward neural network. The real-time implementation is very important, and thus the neuro controller also needs to be designed such that it converges with a relatively small number of training cycles. SDW has considerably fewer weights than DNN. Since there is no interlink among the hidden layer. The object of proposed algorithm is that the number of self dynamic neuron node and the gradient of activation functions are simultaneously optimized by genetic algorithms. To guarantee convergence, an analytic method based on the Lyapunov function is used to find a stable learning for the SDNN. The ability and effectiveness of identifying and controlling a nonlinear dynamic system using the proposed optimized SDNN considering stability is demonstrated by case studies.
