비정질 셀레늄의 박막 제조공정에 따른 미세구조와 IV특성 (The X-ray Detection and morphology Characteristics on Evaporation Temperature of amorphous Selenium based digital X-ray detector)

  • Recently, due to its better photosensitivity in X-ray, the amorphous selenium based photoreceptor is used on digital direct method conversion material. Compared to other photoconductive material, amorphous selenium has good X-ray response characteristic and low leakage current. It has many parameters of detecting X-ray response on selenium. Among of them, it is well known that manufacture of a-Se is the most basic element. In this paper, we fabricated two types of amorphous selenium sample which had time variable. The one was fabricated continuous deposition sample and the other was step by step sample. Thickness of sample was $300{\mu}m$ and top electrode was evaporated gold. We investigated the leakage current and photo current of them and analysed their electrical characteristics. For analyzing morphology of samples, SEM and surface was pictured. We found that step by step deposition method could be applied for novel fabricating amorphous selenium film.

Zinc Sulfide-selenium X-ray Detector for Digital Radiography

  • The high bias voltage associated with the thick layer (typically 500-1000 ㎛) of selenium required to have an acceptable x-ray absorption in radiography and fluoroscopy applications may have some practical inconvenience. A hybrid x-ray detector with zinc sulfide-amorphous selenium structure has been developed to improve the x-ray sensitivity of a a-Se based flat-panel digital imaging detector. Photoluminescence(PL) characteristic of a ZnS:Ag phosphor layer showed a light emission peak centered at about 450 nm, which matches the sensitivity spectrum of selenium. The dark current of the hybrid detector showed similar characteristics with that of a a-Se detector. The x-ray sensitivity of hybrid and a-Se x-ray detector was 345 pC/㎠/mR and 295 pC/㎠/mR at an applied voltage of 10 V/㎛, respectively. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the pertinence of a solution using a thin selenium layer, as a photosensitive converter, with a thick coating of silver doped zinc sulfide phosphor.

  • Selenium 물질은 지구상에 많은 양이 존재하고, 가격이 저렴하다. 그 성질은 분광감도가 시감도에 잘 일치하고, 광학적 특성이 뛰어나서 태양전지로 연구도 활발히 진행 중이다. 본 연구에서는 Se박막을 열저항증착방법을 이용하여 증착시, 기판온도를 변화를 시켜 그 구조적특성의 변화를 관찰하였다. $50^{\circ}C$에서 변화를 시작하여 $70^{\circ}C$, $100^{\circ}C$의 변화에서 각각 단사정계, 육방정계 결정구조가 나타났다. XRD 분석결과 $100^{\circ}C$에서 증착한 sample의 회절강도가 $70^{\circ}C$에서 증착한 sample보다 작은회절강도를 나타내었다. 추후 열처리공정등을 통하여 보완하면, CISe 박막 화합물 태양전지 연구에 큰 효과를 나타낼 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

  • Photoconductor for direct detection flat-panel imager present a great materials challenge, since their requirements include high X -ray absorption, ionization and charge collection, low leakage current and large area deposition. Selenium is practical material. But it needs high thickness and high voltage in selenium for high ionization rate. We report comparative studies of detector sensitivity. One is an a-Se with $70{\mu}m$ thickness on glass. The other has hybrid layer of depositting ZnS phosphor with $100{\mu}m$ on a-Se. The leakage current of hybrid is similar to it of a-Se, but photocurrent is lager than a-Se. Both of them have high spatial resolution, but hybrid has higher sensitivity than a-Se at comparable bias voltage.

  • Recently, amorphous selenium is used as x-ray conversion material for flat-panel x-ray detector. In this paper, we investigated the effect of breakdown under high voltage and leakage current in PN-type multi-layer structure based on p-type a-Se and n-type conductive thin film. Experimental results show that the multi-layer based detector reduced leakage current because n-type CeO2 conductive layer prevent from hole injection into a-Se layer from collection electrode, Also, the breakdown voltage was improved by dielectric layer between a-Se and top electrode.

  • Today, much terminologies such as noise spectrum, Sharpness, contrast, MTF had been defined for Image quality revaluation of radiation Image. Since development of Xeroradiography In the 1970s, Digital radiation detector that use amorphous selenium was developed. The aim of this research is to analyze physical phenomenon of digital radiation detector that use amorphous selenium. Result of Monte Carlo simulations on amorphous selenium based on physical properties(creation of electron-hole pairs) by induced x-ray are described. From the simulation, intrinsic point spread function(PSF) was found and used to observe modulation transfer function(MTF). We investigated how PSF and MTF changed with various x-ray energy. This result can be used to design digital x-ray detector based on a-Se.

Effects of Zn-L-Selenomethionine on Carcass Composition, Meat Characteristics, Fatty Acid Composition, Glutathione Peroxidase Activity, and Ribonucleotide Content in Broiler Chickens

  • The effects of organic Zn-L-selenomethionine (Zn-L-SeMet) at 0.3 ppm on carcass composition, meat characteristics, fatty acid composition, glutathione peroxidase activity, and ribonucleotide content were compared against the commercial inorganic sodium selenite (Na-Se) and the combination of the two, in commercial broilers. A total of 540 one day-old chicks were assigned at random to 3 dietary treatments : i) commercial inorganic selenium as control or T1, ii) a 1:1 ratio of inorganic and organic selenium as T2, and iii) organic selenium as T3. Carcass composition, meat characteristics, cholesterol content, fatty acid composition, and ribonucleotide content were generally unaffected by treatments. However, discrepancy were significantly observed in glutathione peroxidase activity (GSH-Px) and water holding capacity, with organic selenium showing higher glutathione peroxidase activity (p<0.01) and lower shrinkage loss (p<0.05), respectively. These findings could be explained by the contribution of organic selenium in bioavailability of GSH-Px. However, having conducted in a commercial close house system with sufficient amount of nutritional supplementation, the present study demonstrated little or no effects of organic Zn-L-SeMet on meat characteristics, fatty acid composition, and ribonucleotide content (flavor characteristic) in broiler chickens.

a-Se에 첨가된 Iodine의 조성비 변화에 따른 X선 검출특성 연구 (The Study on X-ray Detection Characteristics of Radiation Detective Sensor with Changing Composition Ratio of Iodine in a-Se)

  • This paper is researched that electric characteristic of Digital x-ray radiography technique with changing composition ratio of Iodine. Dopant material, Iodine is evaporated with amorphous selenium. Thorugh the old papers say, doponted Iodine will be down the created trap level because of Arsenic dopant material in amorphous selenium. Arsenic material of Composition ratio in amorphous selenium is fixed with 0.3% and test sample is deposited composition of 30, 100, 300, 500, 700ppm with thermal evaporate system. Experimental measurement is performed by dark current and x-ray sensitivity in amorphous selenium based radition detector sensor. Fabricated test sample thickness is $30{\mu}m$ and injected voltage is $3{\mu}m$$6{\mu}m$$9{\mu}m$ to both electrode. Experimental results showed that the net charge of composition rate of 30ppm is 398.88 pc/mR/$cm^2$ very high. And increase of the Iodine composition ratio is tendency to the decrease of net charge. Doping changing composition of Iodine in amorphous selenium detector offered to basical information of amorphous selenium material.

유기셀레늄 혼합제 급여가 비육말기 거세한우의 성장, 도체성적, 체내 셀레늄 분포 및 경제성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Organic Selenium Mix on the Performance, Carcass Characteristics, Tissue Selenium Distribution, and Economic Value in Finishing Hanwoo Steers)

  • 본 연구는 유기태 셀레늄 급여가 한우의 생산성에 미치는 영향을 연구하기 위하여 유기태 셀레늄 혼합제의 첨가량을 달리하여 비육말기 거세한우에 급여하였을 때 나타나는 성장, 육질, 체내 셀레늄 분포 및 경제성을 분석 평가하고자 실시하였다. 총 45두의 비육후기 거세한우를 유기태 셀레늄 혼합제 급여 수준에 따라 15 두씩 3개의 시험구에 임의배치 하고 사료 건물 중 셀레늄 함량을 0.5ppm 수준이 되도록 유기셀레늄 혼합제를 급여한 시험구(0.5ppm OSM구), 1.0ppm 수준으로 처리한 시험구(1.0ppm OSM구) 및 대조구(혼합제 무첨가 관행사육구)로 나누어 4개월간 사양시험을 수행한 결과는 다음과 같다. 3개의 시험구간 총 증체량, 일일 증체량 및 사료 섭취량의 통계적 유의성은 없었다(p>0.05). 도체중량, 배최장근면적, 등지방두께, 육량지수, 육색지수, 지방색, 연도, 성숙도 등에서도 시험구간 유의적 차이가 인정되지 않았다(p>0.05). 그러나 상대적으로 유기태 셀레늄과 함께 미생물 제제가 많이 공급된 1.0ppm OSM 구에서 사료효율(사료요구량과 증체당 TDN), 도체등급 및 육질등급이 다른 시험구보다 좋은 성적을 나타냈다. 각 조직의 셀레늄은 유기태 셀레늄 급여에 의해 함량이 증가되었는데 0.5ppm OSM 구에서는 간과 우둔 그리고 1.0ppm OSM 구에서는 신장, 간, 등심 및 우둔의 셀레늄함량이 대조구보다 높았다(p<0.05). 조직 내 셀레늄 함량은 전반적으로 1.0ppm OSM 구에서 가장 높게 나타났으며, 각 조직간 셀레늄 함량은 신장, 간, 등심 그리고 우둔 순으로 높았다. 사양시험 종료시 도체 경락가를 기초로 경제성을 평가하였을 때 1.0ppm OSM 구가 대조구에 비하여 수익성이 5.5% 정도 높았다. 결론적으로, 유기셀레늄 혼합제의 급여와 급여수준은 사료섭취량, 증체량 그리고 도체특성에 큰 영향을 주지 않았지만 각 조직의 셀레늄 함량을 증가시켰다. 또한 유기셀레늄 혼합제를 1.0ppm 수준으로 사용하였을 때 육우 판매수입이 증가하였다.

셀레늄증기 다중광선레이저의 헬륨 순도에 따른 광이득과 출력특성 (optical gain and output characteristic of selenium vapour multiline laser on purity of helium)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 헬륨의 순도가 셀레늄증기 레이저에서의 출력특성과 광이득에 미치는 영향을 측정, 비교해보는 것이다. 헬륨의 순도는 특수 헬륨필터로써 개선하였다. 본 측정에서는 개개의 선들이 복굴절필터에 의해서 선택 되어졌다. 대부분의 선들이 헬륨필터를 사용한 레이저에서 더 높은 output-coupling 출력과 소신호 이득을 보여 주고, 특히 강력한 선들(497.6 nm, 499.3 nm, 506.9 nm, 517.6 nm, 522.8 nm, 530.5 nm)과 청색선(460.4 nm, 464.8 nm)및 적색선(644.4 nm, 649.1 nm)에서 현저히 더 높은 값을 보여 준다.
