This paper proposed a effective priority selection algorithm named weighted round-robin algorithm and show the implementation result of DMAC priority selection module using prosed weighted round-robin algorithm. I parameterize timing constraints of each functional module, which decide the effectiveness of system. Proposed weighted round-robin algorithm decide the most effective module for data transmission using parameterize timing constraints and update timing parameter of each module for next transmission module selection. I implement DMAC priority selection module using this weighted round-robin algorithm and can improve the timing effective for data transmission from memory to functional module or one functional module to another functional module.

Best subset selection procedure based on mutual information (MI) between a set of explanatory variables and a dependent class variable is suggested. Derivation of multivariate MI is based on normal mixtures. Several types of normal mixtures are proposed. Also a best subset selection algorithm is proposed. Four real data sets are employed to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposals.

Supply Chain Management(SCM) system is a critical investment that can affect future competitiveness and performance of a company. Selection of a right SCM system is one of the critical issues. This paper provides the characteristic factors of SCM system selection and the SCM system evaluation and selection model based on Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). The proposed model can systematically construct the objectives of SCM system selection to support the business goals. A empirical example demonstrates the feasibility of the proposed model and the model can help a company to make better decision-making in selecting SCM system.

In this short communication we discuss the bias problems of CART in split variable selection and suggest a method to reduce the variable selection bias. Penalties proportional to the number of categories or distinct values are applied to the splitting criteria of CART. The results of empirical comparisons show that the proposed modification of CART reduces the bias in variable selection.

For text categorization task, distinctive text features selection is important due to feature space high dimensionality. It is important to decrease the feature space dimension to decrease processing time and increase accuracy. In the current study, for text categorization task, we introduce a novel statistical feature selection approach. This approach measures the term distribution in all collection documents, the term distribution in a certain category and the term distribution in a certain class relative to other classes. The proposed method results show its superiority over the traditional feature selection methods.

Suppose we have a set of data X1, ···, Xn and employ kernel density estimator to estimate the marginal density of X. in this article bandwith selection problem for kernel density estimator is examined closely. In particular the Kullback-Leibler method (a bandwith selection methods based on average square error (ASE)) is considered.

This article deals with variable selection problem under a newly formed predictive heteroscedastic discriminant rule that accounts for mulitple homogeneous covariance matrices across the K multivariate normal populations. A general version of predictive discriminant rule, a variable selection criterion, and a criterion for stopping with further selection are suggested. In a simulation study the practical utilities of those considered are demonstrated.

The mesh selectivity of diamond and suare mesh cod-ends at the Southern Korean Sea and the East China Sea were compared for Pampus argenteus, Trachurus japonicus, Trichiurus lepturus. Selection trials were carried out using diamond and square mesh cod-end by trouser type cod-end with cover net. of which the mesh cod-end has four types : A(51.2mm), B(70.2mm), C(77.6mm), D(88.0mm). Selection curves and selection parameters were calculated using a logistic model. The results obained are summarized as follows : 1. Harvest fish : In B. C and D type selection range and fifty percent selection length of the square mesh were about 21mm, 11mm : 12mm, 18mm and 34mm, 5mm higher than those of the diamond mesh, respectively. Selection factor of master curve for the diamond mesh was 1.54 and for the square mesh was 1.68. The optimum mesh size for the diamond mesh was 97.4mm and for the square mesh was 89.3mm, the difference was 8.1mm. 2. Horse mackerel : In A type, selection range was nearly the same for the diamond and the square mesh, but fifty percent selection length of the square mesh was 43mm higher than the diamond mesh. In B. C and D type, selection range and fifty percent selection length of the square mesh were about 6mm, 3mm : 24mm, 21mm and 11mm, 42mm higher than those of the diamond mesh, respectively. Selection factor of master curve for the diamond mesh was 2.37, for the square mesh was 2.77. The optimum mesh size for the diamond mesh was 78.1mm and for the square mesh was 66.8mm, the difference was 11.3mm. 3. Hair tail : In A, B and C type, selection range of the square mesh was about 34mm, 8mm, 60mm higher than those of the diamond mesh. Fifty percent selection length for the diamond mesh was about 5mm, 7mm, 8mm higher than that of the square mesh. Selection factor of master curve for the diamond mesh was 3.11, for the square mesh was 3.48. The optimum mesh size for the diamond mesh was 64.3mm and for the square mesh was 57.5mm, the difference was 6.8mm.

This study analyzed the effects of internet fashion consumer's anticipated regret and the selection difficulty on decision making delay and purchase switching intention. The survey was conducted in 2012 on internet fashion consumers in their 20s to 40s from May 1 to June 30; subsequently, 487 responses were used for the data analysis. The anticipated regret of internet fashion consumers was composed of product, service, social psychology, and function-related anticipated regret. The selection difficulty of internet fashion consumers was composed of process, information, and experience-related selection difficulty. There are significant differences in anticipated regret, selection difficulty, decision making delay, and purchase switching intention by gender. The anticipated regret (product, service, and social psychology-related anticipated regret) and selection difficulty effected decision making delay. In addition, the anticipated regret for product and selection difficulty by process or information influenced purchase switching intention. The results of this study provide useful information on the success and efficient operation of internet shopping malls.
