패션아울렛 소비자의 캐주얼 및 정장 의류제품 추구혜택과 만족도 연구 (A Study on Pursuing Benefit and Satisfaction at Casual and Official Wear of Fashion Outlet Users)

  • This study was to examine the factor structure of pursuing benefit and satisfaction at casual and official wear, to analyze the differences of pursuing benefit, satisfaction, and clothing purchase behavior among the consumer groups segmented by store pursuing benefits, and to provide useful information for establishment of marketing strategies. The subjects were 500 female consumers experienced in purchasing clothes at fashion outlet stores. A total of 500 questionnaires were analyzed with $X^2$-test, ANOVA, factor analysis and Duncan's multiple range test. The results were as follows: 1. Pursuing benefit and satisfaction at casual wear and official wear were composed of 5 factors. 2. Pursuing benefit and satisfaction at casual and offcial wear, and clothing purchasing behavior variables such as informants, frequency of purchase, shopping time, and average monthly expenditure on clothes were significantly different among the 3 segmented groups. Product pursuing group was shown to seek higher level of esthetic feeling, suitability for self image and body, fsshion and symbolic meaning of brand than other groups in casual and official wear and to be most satisfied at symbolic meaning of brand, social recognition, and practicality in casual wear of outlet and at suitability and social recognition in official wear of outlet. Store convenience pursuing group was shown to seek higher level of suitability for self image and body, quality, and practicality than other groups in casual and official wear and to be most satisfied at quality and practicality in casual wear of outlet and at practicality and suitability in of cial wear of outlet. Price pursuing group was shown to seek and to be most satisfied at practicality in casual and official wear of outlet.

전시컨벤션 방문객의 참가동기가 만족도, 재방문의도 및 추천의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Attendees' Motivation of Convention & Exhibition Visitors on their Satisfaction, Revisit and Recommendation Intention)

  • 본 연구는 COEX에서 개최된 2011 한국국제관광전(2011년 6월2일~6월 5일)을 관람하고 출입구로 나오는 참가자들을 대상으로 방문객의 참가동기가 만족도, 재방문의도 및 추천의도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 현장 설문조사를 실시하였다. 통계분석은 SPSS 12.0과 AMOS 6.0의 통계 프로그램을 사용하였다. 분석결과는 전시컨벤션 관리자에게 실무적인 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 실증분석을 토대로 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 참가동기에 대한 요인분석을 실시한 결과 지식추구, 친목성, 일탈성, 지역특성의 4가지로 차원 화 되었다. 둘째, 참가동기를 지각하는 정도가 높으면 높을수록 만족은 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지식추구, 친목성, 지역특성 탐구에서 재방문의도와 인과관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 지식추구, 친목성, 일탈성에서 추천의도와 인과관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 고객만족은 재방문의도 및 추천의도와 인과관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

식생활 라이프스타일에 따른 외식업체 배달서비스의 품질 지각 및 만족도 연구 (Research on the Consumer's Delivery Service Quality Perception and Satisfaction in Foodservice Industry Based on the Types of Food-related Life-style)

  • 본 연구는 급성장하고 있는 외식업체 배달서비스 시장에 관한 연구로, 배달서비스 품질의 차원을 도출하고, 소비자의 식생활 라이프스타일 따라 외식업체 음식 배달서비스 품질에 대한 차이가 있는지를 실증 분석하고자 하였다. 식생활 라이프스타일에 대한 요인분석 결과 '건강추구형', '유행 추구형', '미각 추구형', '안전 추구형', '편의 추구형'의 5개 요인이 추출되었고, 군집분석 결과 '맛 추구형', '식생활 고관심형', '편의 추구형'으로 분류되었다. 배달서비스 품질은 '음식품질', '경제성', '주문 편의성', '직원품질', '위생', '주문 품질'로 6가지 요인이 도출되었는데 그 중 '음식품질'과 '경제성'에서 소비자 유형별 유의한 차이를 보였다, 또한 '주문 품질', '음식 품질', '위생' 등의 순으로 만족도에 미치는 영향력의 정도가 큰 것으로 나타났다.

소외 청소년의 일상적 정보행태: 재미 한인 청소년을 사례로 하여 (Everyday Information Practices of 'Isolated' Adolescents: A Case Study of New Korean Immigrant Adolescents in the U.S.)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 청소년들이 그들의 가장 중요한 정보원인 또래집단으로부터 소외되었을 때, 그 삶 속에서 당면하고 있는 일상적 고민의 실체와 정보행태적 특징을 파악하는데 있다. 이를 위해, 최근 미국으로 이민간 16명의 한인 청소년들을 사례로 하여 그들의 이민 과정, 일상적 고민과 정보요구, 정보추구 및 회피과정, 그리고 도서관을 비롯한 정보시스템의 이용 과정에서 드러나는 특징을 조사하였다. 조사 결과 밝혀낸 5가지 정보행태적 특징을 기존 정보이론과 모델에 비교하여 분석함으로써, 또래집단으로 부터 소외된 청소년의 정보행태를 이해하기 위한 이론적 기반을 마련하고자 하였다. 한편, 연구문제를 논의하는데 필요한 데이터는 설문조사와 심층면담을 통해 수집하였고, 이 연구의 의미와 한계 그리고 후속 연구들이 논의되었다.

광주 한복산업 집적지의 특성과 최근 변화 (Characteristics and recent changes of the Hanbok industrial cluster in Gwangju, Korea)

  • This study examines the characteristics and recent changes of the Hanbok industrial cluster in Gwangju Metropolitan City, in order to understand the problems in the activation of the Hanbok industry and to seek future policies. A total 32 companies comprise the 'Small Manufacturer Specialized Support Center of Hanbok' and were surveyed with a 41 questions with questions in four categories. The Gwangju Hanbok area has been in existence for more than 40 years and was composed of small groups of one or two manufacturers. They are experiencing the same difficulties as other Hanbok clusters, such as the aging of workers, the downturn of dress culture, and changing consumption paradigms. However, since 2015, various efforts have been made in order to seek countermeasures to cope with such difficulties, particularly with the foundation of the 'Small Manufacturer Specialized Support Center of Hanbok' with the support of the Ministry of Small Venture Business. This study focuses on the alterations in the current Hanbok industry due to the IT industrialization as well as the changes in the locations of the Hanbok clusters due to the revitalization of old towns by local governments., The results providing an opportunity to appreciate the problems therein and seek the solutions. Small manufacturers of the Hanbok cluster are trying to improve their entrepreneurship, digital technology application, and knowledge in accordance with the socio-economic trends, but they have limitations to practically apply it to business, barely keeping the minimum production base. The central government and the Gwangju should reinforce and expand the support for marketing and public relations for the Hanbok to foster the designer population, to establish mutual brands, to raise brand awareness, and to promote the technological perfection of the individual businesses, to allow them to cope with the current market trends, in order for the technological development and firm settlement of the local Hanbok industrial cluster.

Part II. What drives Korean adults to seek orthodontic treatment: Factors contributing to orthodontic treatment decisions

  • Objective: This study aimed to identify the perceptions of orthodontic treatment among Korean adults and determine the factors that drive them to seek orthodontic treatment. Methods: A total of 2,321 adults aged 19-64 years were surveyed using an internet research system from a specialized research company. The participants were divided into the following groups based on their experience of and willingness to undergo orthodontic treatment: experience, acceptance, and non-acceptance groups. The characteristics of the participants were compared using analysis of variance with post-hoc analysis. Multinomial logistic regression analysis was performed in all three models with the non-acceptance group as a reference. Results: In terms of demographic characteristics, age, gender, marital status, and education had significant influences on orthodontic treatment decisions in adults in the experience and acceptance groups (p < 0.001). When all the factors were analyzed, age, marital status, past dental treatment experience, regular oral examinations, demand for orthodontic treatment, optimal treatment period, health insurance coverage, information on orthodontic treatments, perceptions regarding orthodontic treatment, and psychosocial impact of dental esthetics significantly influenced orthodontic treatment decisions in adults in the experience and acceptance groups (p < 0.001). Conclusions: These findings suggest that various factors influence orthodontic treatment decisions in adults. Individuals who seek orthodontic treatment were found to undergo more regular dental treatment and oral examination than those who did not. They also had a better perception of orthodontic treatment and more negative values for the psychosocial impact of dental esthetics.

동남아시아의 이주노동과 지역 거버넌스 (Transnational Labor Migration in Southeast Asia and Regional Governance: In Search of Good Governance)

  • This study is to seek alternatives for regional governance related to transnational labor migration issues in Southeast Asia. This study examined the present situation and trends of labor migration in the region, reviewed involved transnational issues, and identified the current issues of governance to seek alternatives for regional governance. The increase in cross-border labor migration is no doubt a sign of growth and dynamism of the region and greater integration of their economies. But it also poses complex policy and management issues as well as transnational issues over such as unequal economic profits, illegal migration, human rights, and social security issues. In this reality, regional governance is a very important theme and the efforts to manage their migration inherently involve fundamental conflict and tension between related countries and regions. However, politics and governance of transnational migrant workers in Southeast Asia are still pursued at the national level. To resolve these issues, it is urgently required to secure not only collaboration between the parties concerned but also governance at the regional level. Findings of this study are: First, although labor migration has been a relatively long-time transnational issue, the history of addressing the issue at the regional governance is very short and still inceptive. Second, given its size, labor migration in Southeast Asia requires effective regional governance but no breakthrough was possible due to the conflict of interests between origin and destination countries and the conflict of logic between the labor market and the state. Third, the issue of labor migration is an important element for the formation of economic and socio-cultural communities the ASEAN countries have pursued. Fourth, it is urgently needed to seek alternatives for good and effective regional governance as a key to resolving these issues over migrant workers in Southeast Asia.
