  • Visible light communication is a communication method using light, and it has advantage of ensuring security in a single space as compared with RF communication. However, in the area outside the visible line of the light, communication disconnection occurs. Therefore, this paper proposes a relay module to overcome the coverage extension and communication disconnection phenomenon of visible light communication. The proposed relay module transmits and receives data of visible light communication by sequentially transmitting data packets including target ID through adjacent visible light module. Through experimentation of data transmission, we confirmed the extension of the transmission range and the data reception in the area outside the line of sight.

  • This study is about an Artificial Intelligence-based fake news identification system and its methods to determine the authenticity of content distributed over the Internet. Among the news we encounter is news that an individual or organization intentionally writes something that is not true to achieve a particular purpose, so-called fake news. In this study, we intend to design a system that uses Artificial Intelligence techniques to identify fake content that exists within the news. The proposed identification model will propose a method of extracting multiple unit factors from the target content. Through this, attempts will be made to classify unit factors into different types. In addition, the design of the preprocessing process will be carried out to parse only the necessary information by analyzing the unit factor. Based on these results, we will design the part where the unit fact is analyzed using the deep learning prediction model as a predetermined unit. The model will also include a design for a database that determines the degree of fake news in the target content and stores the information in the identified unit factor through the analyzed unit factor.

  • The determination of the blast protection level and the corresponding minimum load-bearing capacity for a laminated glass (LG) window is of crucial importance for safety and security design purposes. In this paper, the focus is given to the window response under near-field blast loading, i.e., where relatively small explosives would be activated close to the target, representative of attack scenarios using small commercial drones. In general, the assessment of the load-bearing capacity of a window is based on complex and expensive experiments, which can be conducted for a small number of configurations. On the other hand, nowadays, validated numerical simulations tools based on the Finite Element Method (FEM) are available to partially substitute the physical tests for the assessment of the performance of various LG systems, especially for the far-field blast loading. However, very little literature is available on the LG window performance under near-field blast loads, which differs from far-field situations in two points: i) the duration of the load is very short, since the blast wavelength tends to increase with the distance and ii) the load distribution is not uniform over the window surface, as opposed to the almost plane wave configuration for far-field configurations. Therefore, the current study focuses on the performance assessment and structural behaviour of LG windows under near-field blasts. Typical behavioural trends are investigated, by taking into account possible relevant damage mechanisms in the LG window components, while size effects for target LG windows are also addressed under a multitude of blast loading configurations.

  • MANET composed wireless nodes without fixed infrastructure provides high flexibility, but it has weak disadvantage to various attack. It has big weakness to DDoS attack because every node perform packet forwarding especially. In this paper, packet transmission information control technique is proposed to reduce damage of DDoS attack in MANET and search location of attacker when DDoS attacks occur. Hierarchical structure using gateway node is adopted for protect a target of attack in this study. Gateway node in cluster is included like destination nodes surely when source nodes route path to destination nodes and it protects destination nodes. We confirmed efficiency by comparing proposed method in this study with CUSUM and measured the quantity consumed memory of cluster head to evaluate efficiency of information control using to location tracing.

  • XSS is an attacker on the other party of the browser that is allowed to run the script. It is seized session of the users, or web site modulation, malicious content insertion, and phishing attack which is available. XSS attacks are stored XSS and reflected XSS. In that, two branch attacks. The form of XSS attacks are cookie sniffing, script encryption, bypass, the malignant cord diffusion, Key Logger, Mouse Sniffer, and addition of lie information addition. XSS attacks are target of attack by script language. Therefore, the countermeasure of XSS is presented and proposed to improve web security.

  • Hybrid fuzzing which combines fuzzing and concolic execution, has proved its ability to achieve higher code coverage and therefore find more bugs. However, current hybrid fuzzers usually suffer from inefficiency and poor scalability when applied to complex, real-world program testing. We observed that the performance bottleneck is the inefficient cooperation between the fuzzer and concolic executor and the slow symbolic emulation. In this paper, we propose a novel solution named EPfuzzer to improve hybrid fuzzing. EPfuzzer implements two key ideas: 1) only the hardest-to-reach branch will be prioritized for concolic execution to avoid generating uninteresting inputs; and 2) only input bytes relevant to the target branch to be flipped will be symbolized to reduce the overhead of the symbolic emulation. With these optimizations, EPfuzzer can be efficiently targeted to the hardest-to-reach branch. We evaluated EPfuzzer with three sets of programs: five real-world applications and two popular benchmarks (LAVA-M and the Google Fuzzer Test Suite). The evaluation results showed that EPfuzzer was much more efficient and scalable than the state-of-the-art concolic execution engine (QSYM). EPfuzzer was able to find more bugs and achieve better code coverage. In addition, we discovered seven previously unknown security bugs in five real-world programs and reported them to the vendors.

  • With rapid rise of virtualization technology from diverse types of cloud computing service, security problems such as data safety and reliability are the issues at stake. Since damage in virtualization layer of cloud service can cause damage on all host (user) tasks, Hypervisor that provides an environment for multiple virtual operating systems can be a target of attackers. This paper propose a security structure for protecting Hypervisor from hacking and malware infection.

  • In order to take rapid action against malware, efficiency in malware analysis is essential. For instance, it would be helpful to identify and eliminate open-source function bodies or other safe portions out of the target binary codes. In this paper, we propose an tool to create open source dynamic link library files in Windows environment, extract signature information by opensource and compiler version, and compare open source function information to find suspicious function. In addition, the tool can save the information used in the comparison to the DB and use it later, reducing the analysis time overhead.

  • Recently, instead of technical cyber operations that directly attack the target information system by using cyber attack techniques, social engineering techniques that indirectly invade the system by exploiting the vulnerabilities of persons who manage the system are being watched. Despite this trend, there is a lot of confusion because there is no clear concept about the relationship between cyber operations and social engineering techniques. Therefore, this paper aims at establishing a clear concept of a social engineering cyber operation, helping future researchers in this literature.

  • This paper describes the design of hacking prevention systems using a smart card. It consists of two parts, i.e., PC authentication and Keyboard-buffer hacking prevention. PC authentication function is a procedure to handle the access control to the target PC. The card's serial number is used for PIN(Personal Identification Number) and is converted into hash-code by SHA-1 hash-function to verify the valid users. The Keyboard-buffer hacking prevention function converts the scan codes into the encoded forms using RSA algorithm on the Java Card, and puts them into the keyboard-buffer to protect from illegal hacking. The encoded information in the buffer is again decoded by the RSA algorithm and displayed on the screen. in this paper, we use RSA_PKCS#1 algorithm for encoding and decoding. The reason using RSA technique instead of DES or Triple-DES is for the expansion to multi-functions in the future on PKI. Moreover, in the ubiquitous computing environment, this smart card security system can be used to protect the private information from the illegal attack in any computing device anywhere. Therefore, our security system can protect PC user's information more efficiently and guarantee a legal PC access authority against any illegal attack in a very convenient way.
