A quantitative assessment method of network information security vulnerability detection risk based on the meta feature system of network security data

  • Because the traditional network information security vulnerability risk assessment method does not set the weight, it is easy for security personnel to fail to evaluate the value of information security vulnerability risk according to the calculation value of network centrality, resulting in poor evaluation effect. Therefore, based on the network security data element feature system, this study designed a quantitative assessment method of network information security vulnerability detection risk under single transmission state. In the case of single transmission state, the multi-dimensional analysis of network information security vulnerability is carried out by using the analysis model. On this basis, the weight is set, and the intrinsic attribute value of information security vulnerability is quantified by using the qualitative method. In order to comprehensively evaluate information security vulnerability, the efficacy coefficient method is used to transform information security vulnerability associated risk, and the information security vulnerability risk value is obtained, so as to realize the quantitative evaluation of network information security vulnerability detection under single transmission state. The calculated values of network centrality of the traditional method and the proposed method are tested respectively, and the evaluation of the two methods is evaluated according to the calculated results. The experimental results show that the proposed method can be used to calculate the network centrality value in the complex information security vulnerability space network, and the output evaluation result has a high signal-to-noise ratio, and the evaluation effect is obviously better than the traditional method.

  • This article examines the multidimensional index extraction method of the disability social security system based on data mining. While creating the data warehouse of the social security system for the disabled, we need to know the elements of the social security indicators for the disabled. In this context, a clustering algorithm was used to extract the indicators of the social security system for the disabled by investigating the historical dimension of social security for the disabled. The simulation results show that the index extraction method has high coverage, sensitivity and reliability. In this paper, a multidimensional extraction method is introduced to extract the indicators of the social security system for the disabled based on data mining. The simulation experiments show that the method presented in this paper is more reliable, and the indicators of social security system for the disabled extracted are more effective in practical application.

  • 데이타베이스 환경에서 보안을 성취한다는 것은 위협을 확인하고 이에 대응할 수 있는 정책 (policy : 해야할 일)과 메커니즘 (mechanism : 달성하는 방법)을 선택하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 데이타베이스 보안위협의 유형과 성격을 살펴보고 이같은 위협을 예방하고 차단할 수 있는 방안을 데이타베이스 보안 일반원칙으로서 제시한다. 또한, Oracle의 사례를 들어 보안성 구현방법을 제시하고 구현결과를 검증하므로서 데이타베이스 보안에 대한 일련의 절차와 프레임 워크를 구성해본다.

공통평가기준에 의한 보안정책모델 평가방법 (An Evaluation Method for Security Policy Model Based on Common Criteria)

  • 보안정책모델은 평가대상제품(Target of Evaluation, TOE)의 보안정책을 비정형적, 준정형적, 또는 정형적 방법을 사용하여 구조적으로 표현하는 한 것이다. 보안정책모델은 보안기능요구사항과 기능명세간의 일관성 및 완전성을 제공함으로써 평가대상제품이 요구사항과 기능명세간 불명확성으로 인한 보안결점을 최소화할 수 있도록 보증성을 보장한다. 이러한 이유로 ISO/IEC 15408(공통평가기준. CC) 등 IT 제품 및 시스템의 보안성 평가기준의 고등급 평가에서 보안정책모델을 요구하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 보안정책모델의 개념과 관련 연구 및 공통평가기준의 보안정책모델 보증요구사항을 분석하여 보안정책모델 평가방법을 제시한다.

네트워킹기능과 정보보호기능 연동기술 메커니즘 구현 (A Securing Method of Relational Mechanism Between Networking Technology and Security Technology)

  • 네트워크보안에서 네트워킹기능과 정보보호기능을 분리하여 관리하지 않고 연계하여 종합 메커니즘을 구성 및 적용할 경우 종합적인 정보보호 효율은 시너지효과로 나타난다. 본 연구는 네트워킹 기능과 정보보호기능을 연계하여 정보보호기능을 적용했을 경우의 연동 메커니즘 구현방법 개발과 그 성과를 측정하기 위한 것이다. 연동 메커니즘에 의한 보안차단성과는 분리상황의 성과보다 $8{\sim}10%$ 증대되어 나타난다. 따라서 네트워크 정보보호기능 구현은 반드시 네트워킹기능과 정보보호기능을 연계하여 구성하고 그 성과를 측정 관리하는 것이 정보보호 성과 관리에 효율적 방법임을 본 연구를 통해 제시하고자 한다.

Joint Virtual User Identification and Channel Security En/Decoding Method for Ad hoc Network

  • Ad hoc network is self-organized network powered by battery. The reliability of virtual user identification and channel security are reduced when SNR is low due to limited user energy. In order to solve this problem, a joint virtual user identification and channel security en/decoding method is proposed in this paper. Transmitter-receiver-based virtual user identification code is generated by executing XOR operation between orthogonal address code of transmitter and pseudo random address code of receiver and encrypted by channel security code to acquire orthogonal random security sequence so as to improve channel security. In order to spread spectrum as well as improve transmission efficiency, data packet is divided into 6-bit symbols, each symbol is mapped with an orthogonal random security sequence. Subspace-based method is adopted by receiver to process received signal firstly, and then a judgment model is established to identify virtual users according to the previous processing results. Simulation results indicate that the proposed method obtains 1.6dB Eb/N0 gains compared with reference methods when miss alarm rate reaches 10-3.

A Cost-Optimization Scheme Using Security Vulnerability Measurement for Efficient Security Enhancement

  • The security risk management used by some service providers is not appropriate for effective security enhancement. The reason is that the security risk management methods did not take into account the opinions of security experts, types of service, and security vulnerability-based risk assessment. Moreover, the security risk assessment method, which has a great influence on the risk treatment method in an information security risk assessment model, should be security risk assessment for fine-grained risk assessment, considering security vulnerability rather than security threat. Therefore, we proposed an improved information security risk management model and methods that consider vulnerability-based risk assessment and mitigation to enhance security controls considering limited security budget. Moreover, we can evaluate the security cost allocation strategies based on security vulnerability measurement that consider the security weight.

  • In order to solve the problem that the current network security situation assessment methods just focus on the attack behaviors, this paper proposes a kind of network security situation assessment method based on Markov Decision Process and Game theory. The method takes the Markov Game model as the core, and uses the 4 levels data fusion to realize the evaluation of the network security situation. In this process, the Nash equilibrium point of the game is used to determine the impact on the network security. Experiments show that the results of this method are basically consistent with the expert evaluation data. As the method takes full account of the interaction between the attackers and defenders, it is closer to reality, and can accurately assess network security situation.

개발 성공요인을 적용한 네트워크 보안 시스템 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Network Security Systems Based on Critical Success Factors for Systems Development)

  • This study proposes a method to improve network security systems based on critical success factors for systems development. To accomplish the research objective, the study analyzes required functions of network security systems and reviews existing methods to improve network security systems. Based on the analyses and literature review, critical success factors for development of network security systems are identified and a new method to improve network security systems based on the critical success factors is proposed. The proposed method to improve network security systems is based on utilizing multi-core processors. A prototype is developed and validated. This study will provide a good case in the network security area where research incorporating both engineering and management disciplines lacks.

  • 조직의 정보보호 목표를 효율적이고 효과적으로 달성하기 위해서는 정보보호 수준을 정확히 평가하고 개선 방향을 제시하는 정보보호 성과평가 지표와 측정방법이 필요하다. 그러나 이러한 요구사항에도 불구하고 국내 기업의 정보보호 활동에 대한 성과나 효과를 측정하기 위한 표준적인 지표나 활용 가능한 측정 방법이 미흡한 실정이다. 이로 인해 기업에서는 지속적인 보안투자 결정을 이끌어 내는데 큰 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 이러한 각 기업 환경에 적합한 합리적인 성과평가를 위하여 성과평가에 영향을 주는 다양한 관점에서 성과평가지표를 도출하고, 평가지표간 중요도에 따른 가중치 부여를 통하여 평가 지표와 측정방법을 개발하는 것이다. 정보보호 활동의 다양한 성과 요인을 균형 있게 평가하기 위해 Norton과 Kaplan(1992)이 개발한 균형성과표 (BSC : Balanced Scorecard) 모형을 활용하였다. 본 연구 결과는 국내 기업들이 정보보호 수준을 파악하고 주기적인 성과측정을 통해 자사의 정보보호 현황 파악과 추이 분석이 가능하고 정보보호 투자 등 전략을 수립하는데 적용할 수 있다.
