Risley Prisms Scanning Optical Imaging System Using Liquid Crystal Spatial Light Modulator

  • Chromatic aberrations induced by Risley prisms made of a single material can be substantially compensated using a liquid crystal spatial light modulator while still keeping the prism pairs compact, simple and lightweight. A ${\pm}10^{\circ}$ optical scanning imaging system with ${\pm}2^{\circ}$instantaneous field based on LC-SLM correction is designed as an example. The ultimate simulation results show that this kind of scheme is an effective way of improving imaging performance dynamically across the full field of scanning.

  • IoT환경에서는 소프트웨어의 안전성과 무결성이 중요하다. 하지만 IoT의 제한된 성능 때문에 소프트웨어 검증에 음영지역이 발생한다. 제한된 제어 변조 공격은 이러한 음영지역을 목표로, 대상 프로그램의 핵심 분기문을 변조하여 동작을 조작한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 공격에 대응하여 프로그램에 marker를 직접 주입하고 확인함으로써 공격을 탐지하는 효율적인 기법을 제안한다.

  • 최근 개인정보보호법 제정에 따라 인터넷에서 개인정보를 취급하는 공공기관 및 기업들은 개인정보 보호를 위해 접근제어, 암호화 등 기술적 대책을 강구하고 있다. 개인정보 유출시 공공기관이나 기업은 이미지 훼손뿐만 아니라, 법적책임을 면할 수 없는 실정이다. 그러나, 대용량 데이터베이스 시스템에서 매 접속 시마다 개인정보 항목에 대해 접근제와와 암 복호화를 하도록 하는 것은 성능 저하의 원인이 된다. 본 논문에서는 동시 트랜잭션이 많은 Oracle DBMS 환경에서 JVM(Java Virtual Machine)을 이용한 경량화 시스템을 설계 구현하여 성능에 최소한 영향을 미치면서 개인정보보호법에 정한 요구사항을 효율적이고 안전하게 수행하는 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안 시스템을 A 공공기관 포털 및 인사 시스템 내 개인정보 보호에 적용하여 성능 차이를 검증하였다.

  • The use of agent paradigm in today's applications is hampered by the security concerns of agents and hosts alike. The agents require the presence of a secure and trusted execution environment; while hosts aim at preventing the execution of potentially malicious code. In general, hosts support the migration of agents through the provision of an agent server and managing the activities of arriving agents on the host. Numerous studies have been conducted to address the security concerns present in the mobile agent paradigm with a strong focus on the theoretical aspect of the problem. Various proposals in Intrusion Detection Systems aim at securing hosts in traditional client-server execution environments. The use of such proposals to address the security of agent hosts is not desirable since migrating agents typically execute on hosts as a separate thread of the agent server process. Agent servers are open to the execution of virtually any migrating agent; thus the intent or tasks of such agents cannot be known a priori. It is also conceivable that migrating agents may wish to hide their intentions from agent servers. In light of these observations, this work attempts to bridge the gap from theory to practice by analyzing the security mechanisms available in Aglet. We lay the foundation for implementation of application specific protocols dotted with access control, secured communication and ability to detect tampering of agent data. As agents exists in a distributed environment, our proposal also introduces a novel security framework to address the security concerns of hosts through collaboration and pattern matching even in the presence of differing views of the system. The introduced framework has been implemented on the Aglet platform and evaluated in terms of accuracy, false positive, and false negative rates along with its performance strain on the system.

  • Technology has been viewed at various stages of civilization as leading to future progress. The building, its services systems and management of the work process all contribute to the well-being of people within an organization. Productivity relies on there being a general sense of high morale and satisfaction with the workplace. Now buildings are considered as providing a milieu for human creativity. Flexibility, adaptability, service integration and high standards of finishes offer an intelligence threshold. Building Automation System(BAS) - controlled lighting systems may offer incremental energy saving. Conventional Lighting control systems often control equipment in a single room or over the limited area, because they are centralized control systems, which means that all the controlled circuits must be wired to a single control panel. The computers used by these systems are typically dedicated microprocess that perform only lighting control functions. By comparison, modern Building automation systems are distributed control system, which means that their computing hardware and software are distributed as a network that microprocessor-based control modules and standard PC. PLC(Programmable Logic controller) is extensible virtually without limits, so that all the lighting in a facility can be controlled by single, unified system - the same system that also can control and monitor the building's HVAC, security, and manufacturing processed, elevators, and more. A Building automation system can control light using schedules, manual controls, occupancy sensors, and photosensors, either singly or in combination. Building Lighting control and monitoring system will be for a energy saving and efficient building management system.

  • This proposed project is about a bicycle anti theft devised system which helps people protect the bicycle from theft and helps to track the stolen bicycle's location using a smart phone. Safety bike uses two main devices to keep the bicycle secured, the vibration sensor and GPS sensor. The purpose of this project is to put all these small devices into one well connected system which will help the bicycle owner have more control over the security of his own bicycle. The whole system can be divided into two main parts. The first part is about the hardware development whereby all electronics components are connected via the circuit design using wire wrapping technique. This hardware part includes, a vibrations sensor, a GPS receiver, a toggle switch, LED light, Bluetooth and a buzzer. Wireless Bluetooth signals are used as the means of communication between the smartphone and the microcontroller. The second part is the software part which is being to program and control the whole system. The program is written using MikroBasic, a full-featured Basic compiler for microcontroller based systems. In conclusion, this system is designed to enable user to have control in securing his/her bicycle also being able to find and locate it at any time using GPS receiver and mobile android application.

  • Biometric techniques for authentication using body parts such as a fingerprint, face, iris, voice, finger-vein and also photoplethysmography have become increasingly important in the personal security field, including door access control, finance security, electronic passport, and mobile device. Finger-vein images are now used to human identification, however, difficulties in recognizing finger-vein images are caused by capturing under various conditions, such as different temperatures and illumination, and noise in the acquisition camera. The human photoplethysmography is also important signal for human identification. In this paper To increase the recognition rate, we develop camera based identification method by combining finger vein image and photoplethysmography signal. We use a compact CMOS camera with a penetrating infrared LED light source to acquire images of finger vein and photoplethysmography signal. In addition, we suggest a simple pattern matching method to reduce the calculation time for embedded environments. The experimental results show that our simple system has good results in terms of speed and accuracy for personal identification compared to the result of only finger vein images.

  • 본 논문은 LED 조명에 ICT 기술을 적용하여 인간 친화적이고 전력 소비를 절감하는 디밍 제어 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 조도 센서를 활용하여 밝기에 따른 LED 디밍 제어와 온도 센서 값에 따른 화재 위험 감지 기능 그리고 블루투스 통신을 사용하여 사용자의 스마트폰으로 화재 위험 정보를 전송하고 각종 센서의 통계치 그래프를 제공한다. 본 논문은 스마트폰 앱으로 실제 환경과 같은 구조물을 구현하고 앱 상에서 LED 조명을 직접 제어할 수 있도록 하며, 앱 상에서 제어된 디밍은 실제 환경의 조명에서도 동시에 적용되도록 구현한다.

G20 정상회의 시 주(主)행사장에서의 VIP 안전대책 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study Security Measures for Protection of VIP in the G20 Summit)

  • G20 정상회의 시 발생 가능한 위협요인으로 요인테러, 인질테러, 폭탄테러, 다중이용시설 테러, 항공기테러 등 이 예상된다. 한국에서 예상되는 위협집단으로는 북한, 이슬람 과격집단 및 국제회의를 반대하는 NGO 조직 등의 단체가 위해를 일으킬 가능성이 있다고 본다. 이에 본 연구는 G20 정상회의가 주로 진행되는 장소인 주행사장과 숙소에서의 VIP 안전대책이 매우 중요하다고 판단하여 이에 대한 방안을 제시하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내 최초로 경호원리 중 세계 각국에서 공통적으로 '3선경호원리'를 채택하고 있으므로 이 원리에 입각하여 1선(안전구역) 2선(경비구역) 3선(경계구역)별로 대응방안을 도출하고 VIP 안전대책을 위하여 정책적으로 반영하여야 할 의견도 함께 제시하였다. 결론적으로 G20 정상회의에 대비하여 주(主) 행사장에서의 VIP 안전대책을 위한 방안으로 1선(안전구역)에서는 첫째, 직가시 승하차지점에 대한 차단대책 강구해야 한다. 둘째, 노출지역에서는 과감하게 근접도보대형을 강화해야 한다. 2선(경비구역)에서는 첫째, 주 행사장의 특수성을 고려하여 출입통제대책을 강구해야 한다. 둘째, 행사비표 내에 RFID 기능이 포함된 효율적인 비표운용계획을 도입해야 한다. 3선(경계구역)에서는 첫째, 각종 요인테러대비, 정 첩보 수집 및 해외 정보기관과의 공조 하에 대테러 정보수집체계를 강화해야 한다. 둘째, 경호 행사인력에 대한 유사시 비상대책훈련을 실시해야 한다. 셋째, VIP 제대의 일정한 속도를 유지하기 위하여 효율적인 교통통제시스템을 운용해야 한다. 마지막으로 VIP 안전대책을 위해 정책적으로 반영하여야 할 점은 첫째, VIP 숙소의 효율적인 분산배치 및 통제가 이루어져야 한다. 둘째, 다양한 기만작전을 활용하여 불순분자가 오판하여 공격이 실패하도록 하여야 한다. 셋째, 북한 대남공작 기구의 개편에 따라 금번 G20 정상회의부터는 강력한 '군사지원대책'을 추진해야 한다. 이를 위해 국방부 주관 하에 전 후방 군사대비태세를 보다 강화하고, 화생방테러에 대비하여 탐지 및 제독에도 적극 적으로 대응할 것을 제안하고자 한다.
