During several decades, hard disk drive(HDD) has been used in most computer systems as secondary storage and, however, the performance enhancement of HDD is limited by its mechanical properties. On the other hand, although the flash memory based solid state drive (SSD) has more advantages over HDD such as high performance and low noise, SSD is still too expensive for common usage and expected to take several years to replace HDD completely. Therefore, SSD caching mechanism using the SSD as a cache of high capacity HDD has been highlighted lately. The representatives of SSD caching mechanisms are typically bcache, dm-cache, Flashcache, and EnhanceIO. Each of them has its own internal mechanism and implementation, and this makes them to show their own pros. and cons. In this paper, we analyze the characteristics of each SSD caching mechanisms and compare the performance of them under various workloads. We expect that our contribution will be useful to enhance the performance of SSD caching mechanisms.

The foot and mouth disease and AI were highly contagious. The virus can be transmitted in a number of ways, including close-contact animal to animal spread, long-distance aerosol spread and fomites, or inanimate objects, typically fodder and motor vehicles. A lot of burial sites were constructed in a short time for preventing the rapid spread of the virus. The carcass burial sites have a risk potential because the sites were constructed without any appropriate and systematic management. It resulted from lacking of time, equipments and man power. The carcass burial sites more than 4,700 constructed in 2011. Approximately 7 million poultry and 3.5 million livestock including head of cattle and swine were buried in farm land. It is time to be concerned if the secondary pollutions occur from the burial sites. The environmental impacts should be analyzed for managing the burial sites effectively and minimizing damages and risks to the environment and human health. This study was to analyze environmental impacts of the process of carcass burial construction using a life cycle assessment methodology. All input data of raw materials and energy usage were collected and the inventory was constructed. The results showed that 1 ton of carcass burial of the environmental impacts were $0.51yr^{-1}$ for ADP, 0.09 kg of 1,4DCB-eq for FAETP, 31.17 kg of $CO_2-eq$ for GWP, 0.04 kg of $C_2H_4-eq$ for POCP, 0.06 kg of $SO_2-eq$ for AP.

This study was conducted with whole home care nurses nationwide to provide secondary analyzed data to understand on their usage of medical equipments and their need of them for a month. This study found that treatments given by home care nurses were nelaton catheterization, bladder washing/urethral washing, newborn care, exchange and care for nasogastric tube and suction in that order of frequency. Second, instruments and equipments used for home care were reported to be stethoscope, patient monitor, blood pressure measuring equipment, air flotation mattresses, beds for patients, mattresses, suctioning device sets, enteral feeding equipment and dressing set in that oder of frequency. Moreover, need assessment of medical instruments and equipments showed renal dialysis was most needed and patient monitor, blood pressure measuring equipment, enteral feeding equipment, solution and other supplies for renal dialysis and beds for patient were necessary in that order. In conclusion, the results of this study investigating special treatments and medical instruments and equipments used for home care patients and analyzing patients' need, were expected to be useful for expansion of application of long-term care insurance for the elderly and health insurance as well as for quality control of home care and development of medial instruments and equipments used at home.

N-nitrosamines, which are classified as carcinogens by IARC and US EPA, can be easily found in various foods. They are reaction products between nitrogen oxide and secondary amines, but can also be generated during fermentation. Ever since the 1960s, when nitrite, used as a preservative in processed meats, was suspected to generate N-nitrosamines, the usage of the food additive has been debated. However, the benefit of nitrite in food supply could not be ignored and the risk-benefit analysis has become a key issue in the use of the additive. For a risk analysis, an accurate estimation of the hazardous material is necessary; therefore, analytical methods for nitrosamines have continuously evolved from the 1950s. Solid supported liquid-liquid extraction and solid phase extractions have replaced the distillation for the clean-up steps, and tandem mass spectrometry is employed for higher selectivity and sensitivity. In the present study, for a better estimation of N-nitrosamine intake, the total diet study samples were prepared for the N-nitrosamines analysis. In order to obtain the most sensitive results, a partial preparation procedure was developed and modified for different food matrices. Among seven N-nitrosamines (N-nitrosodimethylamine, N-nitrosomethylethylamine, N-nitrosodiethylamine, N-nitrosodibutylamine, N-nitrosopiperidine, N-nitrosopyrrolidine, and N-nitrosomorpholine) analyzed in the present study, N-nitrosodiethylamine has shown the highest detection rate in agricultural foods, while N-nitrosodimethylamine has appeared most frequently in livestock and fishery food products. The concentration of N-nitrosodimethylamine was the highest in seasoning.

Radiation therapy for malignancy of head and neck leads to secondary effects, such as mucositis, xerostomia, dental caries and osteoradionecrosis. Osteoradionecrosis is a delayed complication which causes chronic pain, infection and constant deformity after necrosis. It occurs spontaneously or after primary oncologic surgery, dental extraction or by trauma of prosthesis. To reduce the incidence of osteoradionecrosis, appropriate antibiotic usage, atraumic procedure, tension-free primary suture and hyperbaric oxygen therapy are essential. This case is about a 74 years old woman who was treated for osteoradionecrosis after extraction of right lower molar at year 2006. She had received radiation therapy for angiosarcoma on tongue at year 2004. At year 2008 the patient came to our hospital for extraction of the opposite premolar but despite careful treatment, osteoradionecrosis occurred again. She was successfully treated by surgical procedure so we report this case.

Due to the advent of new smart devices, the new technology addiction problems have been much severer than the Internet addiction recently. A lot of research about each technology addiction has been proposed, but the research about the changes in the addictions has been rare. In this paper, we analyze how the environmental factors such as parents and friends affect the personal factors such as time perspectives and technology usage time. In addition, we get the relative importances among the factors which influence on the Internet and mobile phone addictions. As a result, we can analyze the relationships among the factors and the differences between the two addictions with time perspective. In order to achieve our goals, we surveyed on 1,420 primary and secondary school students. We also provided the results produced by structural equation model and Budescu's Dominance analysis. Based on these analyses, we described the differences between the Internet and mobile phone addictions and proposed an alternative to prevent new technology addictions.

Basic concept of this study is that architectural form as a material at present has meaning for the dweller's life on the past historical plane. Main method to recover history is ethnographic interview to dwellers. Secondary method is to analyze ancestors' writings, buildings in the background of the family photos, and past drawings and then to relate them with architectural form at present. Taxonomy is a starting point: general name of the building by outside researcher is quite different from it by inside dwellers. 'Haengrang-chae', servant quarter, has never been used for servants. Function of the haengrang went outside thatched houses at the front village. Firsthand observation or simple analyses as results of several precedent research are reexamined and criticized through this study. The mansion has moaning when we synthesize with the site location based on farming land and tenant farmer, and decline of the Kyongpo Lake. Territoriality of the mansion is reinterpreted to 'In-Out Structure' by Yin-Yang thinking, Dwellers extend buildings gradually to outside village, surrounding rear hills, the lake, DongHae Sea, and finally goes to imaginative Taoist heaven beyond real nature through the literary life. Confucius principle, known to govern upper class house at Yi Dynasty also affect general composition of the buildings: perpetuation of the family by ancestor worship, elder dominance and male dominance, fraternity love in the extended family, charity display by reception of guests, Taoist scholarly life harmonized with nature. However, the study of the particular life and usage of the dwellers reinforces or corrects general supposition of precedent researches. Unique shape of the house has been formed by convenience of the dwellers' life style, early modernized free thought over the rigid Confucius design principle, and female power in male dominant society.

This research paper is applying Family Tree with Story Authoring System on the previous research study about writing tool data model on interactive storytelling about family history. In this study, primary personal information holding identity of the person such as name, birthday and family tree, given at birth, was categorized into secondary function defined as "family contents" consisting of family achievements, episodes and experiences. Family contents was restructured to be used as creative ingredients to increase the value and usage of family contents...Family Tree with Story writing system enables users to create text, images, videos and digital contents based on experimental knowledge collected from the first and second generations.

Though the investigation of the suggested references proverbs related weather were collected and considered the probability of the usage on science instruction. The results are as follows. 130 proverbs related to weather were collected through the investigation of the suggested references. Most of weather proverbs are based on the states of sky, clouds, wind, precipitation, actions of animal, states of plants and the condition of people in daily life. they were classified according to weather types, natural phenomena and seasons. According to the results of analysing the students' recognition and interests on weather proverbs, most of students heard weather proverbs in their elementary school years firstly through their parents, books, and teachers. However they have only heard a few. Also many students also tend to think weather proverbs have a scientific base because weather proverbs have been told by many people through the ancient time and correspond to their personal experiences. Students responded that weather proverbs are useful for science learning on weather and can teach heritage and wisdom. After reading the suggested weather proverbs, their interests on weather proverbs were increased more than before reading. This is one of reasons why weather proverbs can be introduced to science classes. Weather proverbs were considered related to science curriculum. The third grade has a Unit "Fine days and Cloudy days", the fifth grade, "Unit of Weather Change", the Sixth grade, "Unit of Weather Forecast" , the Ninth grade, "Unit of Water cycle and Weather Change" and the tenth grade has "Unit of Earth". So the author consider that weather proverb materials can be used so effectively to bring about interest and motive in science learning.

In wireless communication, efficient spectrum usage is an issue that has been an attractive research area for many technologies. Recently new technologies innovations allow compact radios to transmit with power efficient communication over very long distances. For example, Low-Power Wide Area Networks (LPWANs) are an attractive emerging platform to connect the Internet-of-Things (IoT). Especially, LoRa is one of LPWAN technologies and considered as an infrastructure solution for IoT. End-devices use LoRa protocol across a single wireless hop to communicate to gateway(s) connected to the internet which acts as a bridge and relays message between these LoRa end-devices to a central network server. The use of the (ISM) spectrum sharing for such long-range networking motivates us to implement spectrum sensing testbed for cognitive radio network based on LoRa and GNU radio. In cognitive radio (CR), secondary users (SUs) are able to sense and use this information to opportunistically access the licensed spectrum band in absence of the primary users (PUs). In general, PUs have not been very receptive of the idea of opportunistic spectrum sharing. That is, CR will harmfully interfere with operations of PUs. Subsequently, there is a need for experimenting with different techniques in a real system. In this paper, we implemented spectrum sensing for cognitive radio networks based on LoRa and GNU Radio, and further analyzed corresponding performances of the implemented systems. The implementation is done using Microchip LoRa evolution kits, USRPs, and GNU radio.
