This paper presents the construction of Digital DAS system for supervising of power system simulator (KERISIM) which is developed in KERI. This system is composed of input transducer, input conditioner and digital supervisor. In order to watch P,Q,V,I, Power Factor and RMS in KERISIM successively, Digital arithmetic algorithm is accomplished to calculate Real/Reactive power from voltage/current data which is transferred by secondary part of CT/PT in simulator.

The main purpose of this work is to propose programs of calculus for the department of mathematics education of teacher training universities. There is a description of the characteristics, goal and contents of calculus course for pre-service teacher, followed by principles for teaching the subject. We suggest the constituents and something being kept in mind for each part in calculus.

The surgical approach for humeral implant failure can be challenging due to neurovascular anatomy and the possible necessity of osteosynthesis removal. We present a rare case of humeral nail bending after secondary trauma in a patient with preexistent nonunion of the humerus after intramedullary nailing. During revision surgery, the nail was sawed in half and the distal part was removed, followed by plate osteosynthesis with cable fixation to achieve absolute stability. The patient regained a full range of motion 1 year after surgery, and complete healing of the fracture was seen on imaging.

Micoromorphological alterations of sea-waterlogged woods by marinemicro-oragnisms were investigated by the light and scanning electron microscopy as a part of serial investigations on the shipwrecked materials which were excavated at the sea shore of Wando-Kun, southern coast of Korea in 1984.Deterioration of sea-waterlogged wood by marine microorganisms were varied with the wood species. The degree of deterioration even in the same wood specieswas different according to the part where it was in mud of sea-water. However, the resistance of Torreya nucifera over the marine organisms was marked. Deterioration in cell wall may be classified into three types; thinning of cell wall, separation of secondary wall from compound middle lamella and tunneling of cell wall. Thinning and separation were frequently observed, while the tunneling was rare. Among the wood cell elements of hardwoods, vessel wall was the least deteriorated. The difference degree of degradation of cell wall constituents and the accumulation of inorganic substances in cell lumen indicate that some factors to be considered for the conservation treatment were discussed. The kinds of marine microorganisms invading and/or inhabiting in wrecked wooden ship were also discussed.

As the second part of the author's study, off-design behavior of the design and performance parameters in the low-solidity cascade diffuser in a centrifugal compressor is investigated. The experimental flange-to-flange compressor map serves the validity of application of the present CFD work to the detailed investigation of the low-solidity cascade diffuser. Some meanline design and performance parameters as well as three-dimensional internal secondary flow fields are studied when the flow rate is changed from deep choke to stall.

This paper presents a methodology for automatic feature extraction used in a vision system of FMC (flexible Manufacturing Cell). To implement a robot vision system, it is important to make a feature database for object recognition, location, and orientation. For industrial applications, it is necessary to extract feature information from CAD database since the detail information about an object is described in CAD data. Generally, CAD description is three dimensional information but single image data from camera is two dimensional information. Because of this dimensiional difference, many problems arise. Our primary concern in this study is to convert three dimensional data into two dimensional data and to extract some features from them and store them into the feature database. Secondary concern is to construct feature selecting system that can be used for part recognition in a given set of objects.

Testicular development of the male African lungfish, Protopterus annectens (Owen) was investigated histologically. The testis was found to be an elongated structure that possessed two distinct portions: an anterior spermatogenic part that was made up of a system of testicular tubules and a posterior vesicular part that invaded the kidney tissue. Spermatogenesis can be divided into five stages; primary spermatogonia, secondary spermatogonia, spermatocyte, spermatids and spermatozoa. Based on the gonadosomatic index (GSI) and histological changes observed, the reproductive cycle can be divided onto four distinct stages: resting and quiescent (December to February), growing (March to June) ripe and spent (July to August) and postspawning (September to November). The GSI was the maximum on July when reproductive cells were mature, ripe and ready for spawning; and the minimum in August after fish spawned.

This paper describes about the realization of a remote RF sensor system and its applications. RF Sensor System was designed and realized on DSP over the range of high frequency such as about 200[KHz]. It should be "wireless", "implantable" and "batteryless". Futhermore, the system should be consist of passive components such as R, Land C. The measurement was given using the inductive coupling principle between primary source part and secondary sensor part. This newly developed parameter estimation system can be easily applied to the Ambient Intelligent System including the ubiquitous computing and the sensitive environmental changes.

The bushing currently applied to pole-mounted type loadbreak switch has porcelain bushing which is connected with the mold cone. This type has potential problems of uncertainty of sealing of the interface part and gas leakage on the connected part between bushing and switch tank due to the weight of the porcelain. The Composite Bushing can solve these problems and also the secondary problem of the potential accident owing to the fragment of the porcelain bushing in breakage due to the outer impact.

The development process of domestic CG (Computer Graphics) needs to be studied by classifying the technical part and the design part. This paper analyzes how early domestic broadcast equipment evolved and focused on what went through the development process. Domestic broadcasting companies have introduced and used overseas equipment and have begun to develop their own technology. The development process of the early domestic production technology of broadcasting stations was classified into Character Generator, On-line Real-Time Graphic and Sport Coder. It was found that the orientation of broadcasting technology was conclusively focused on visualization, with socio-cultural factors acting along with the evolution of hardware and software. This research is meaningful in reorganizing the history of the development process of domestic CG technology in the early days through previous research (primary verification), newspaper articles and news coverage (secondary verification). This paper looks at what is missing by regaining the past of CG, and argues that with the advent of new technologies today, we must develop through appropriate division of roles and collaboration between engineers and designers.
