Exploring Major Keyword & Relationship in the Studies of Hotel Employees Using Semantic Network Analysis Methods

  • The purpose of this study is to extract the key words from the list of research subjects related to 'hotel workers' published in recent 10 years(2009~2018) by using the language network analysis method and to confirm the relation between the key words. In this paper, we propose a semantic network analysis that can overcome limitations of longitudinal study, analyze the recent research trends, and widely use as a research model. The results of this study are as follows ; First, in analyzing major key words in the title of 'Hotel Employer' in recent 10 years, the major keyword of job satisfaction(40), special grade(26), organizational commitment(20), emotional labor(19), service(12), restaurant(10), and turnover intention(9). Second, we analyzed the relation of language network among major key words extracted from the study title of 'hotel workers'. Such a research process is expected to grasp the trends of research related to 'hotel workers' and give implications for the future direction of related research.

  • Second-hand trading platforms have emerged as a major transaction method among people, and are particularly quite popular with the MZ Generation (Millennial + Generation Z). These generations are more open to transactions through such platforms. Understanding and analyzing these platforms from the perspective of their primary users can help businesses establish effective marketing strategies and attract new customers. This study examines the effect of second-hand trading platforms on usage intention by dividing the benefits into functional, economic, environmental, social, and hedonic categories for MZ generation consumers who have traded fashion products on such platforms. In addition, it explores how differences in fashion leadership affect the relationship between platform benefits, trust, and attitude. A total of 400 participants were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26.0 and IBM AMOS 24.0. The results indicate that the benefits of second-hand trading platforms have a significant impact on trust in and attitude toward these platforms. Furthermore, the effect of platform benefits on consumer responses varied based on the extent of fashion leadership. This study provides practical insights for developing marketing strategies for second-hand transaction platforms and underscores the academic significance of studying consumer behavior in a second-hand fashion markets.

중장년층의 사회복지 전공 선택 동기 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Motivating Factors Affecting the Middle-Aged People in Choosing Major in Social Welfare)

  • 본 연구는 사이버대학교 사회복지학과 학생들의 전공 선택 이유를 살펴보고, 사회복지전공교육의 효과적인 환경을 구성하는데 기초자료를 제시하고자 한다. 연구를 위해 사이버대학교 사회복지학과에 재학 중인 학부생 41명을 대상으로 전공 선택에 관한 동기요인에 대해 질적 조사를 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영리적 목적으로 자격증 취득을 위해 사회복지 전공을 선택한다는 응답이 가장 많았다. 둘째, 타인에게 인정받기 위한 수단 및 개인의 삶의 질 향상을 위해 전공을 선택하였다. 셋째 사회복지실천을 바탕으로 한 전문가로서 사회적 기여에 의한 전공 선택 동기요인이다. 마지막으로, 개인의 가정환경 경험에 의한 동기요인이다. 사회복지전공교육의 학습효과를 높이는 학습전략 방안이다. 첫째, 자격증 취득을 위한 학습자를 위해 목적지향형 학습이 필요하다. 사회복지실천현장에서 실제 적용이 가능한 실천기술과 전문지식을 익힐 수 있는 교육과정의 배치가 필요하다. 둘째, 타인에게 인정받기 위한 수단 및 개인의 삶의 질 향상을 위해 사회복지 전공을 선택한 학습자를 위한 교육은 자신의 인생을 되돌아보고 새로운 삶의 의미를 발견하는 세대통합교육이 필요하다. 셋째, 사회복지실천을 바탕으로 한 사회적 기여를 위해 전공을 선택한 학생의 교육은 사회복지전문가로서 지역사회에서 전문 자원봉사자로 활동 할 수 있도록 자원봉사에 대한 교육이 구성되어야 하겠다. 넷째, 개인적 경험과 가정환경에 의한 동기를 위해 사회복지전공을 선택한 학습자를 위해 소외되고 도움을 필요로 하는 지역사회 사례관리 대상자를 발굴하고 그들이 학습한 사회복지전공이 가시적인 성과를 이룰수 있도록 사례관리에 대한 전문적인 교육이 필요하겠다.

물리보안 전공 대학생들의 선택 동기가 전공만족도 및 진로결정에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Security Major University Students' Major Selection Motivation on Major Satisfaction and Career Decision)

  • 본 연구는 물리보안전공 대학생들의 전공 선택 동기가 전공만족도 및 진로결정에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 설문조사를 수행하였다. 설문내용은 "첫째, 선택 동기, 둘째, 전공만족도, 셋째, 진로결정"으로 작성하였다. 본 연구에서는 변수의 신뢰도 및 중요도 분석, 탐색적 요인 등을 살펴보기 위해 Chronbach's Alpha 수치를 산출하고 베리맥스(Berimax) 방식을 실시하였다. 측정항목들의 AVE 값과 CR 값 모두 기준치 0.7 이상으로 산출되어 각 항목들의 집중타당성이 우호적인 것으로 조사되었다. 가설검증결과에서 표준화계수를 보면 '선택 동기 ⇨ 전공만족도'는 0.653으로, '전공만족도 ⇨ 진로결정'은 0.403으로 산출되어 두 연구가설은 채택되었으나 '선택 동기 ⇨ 진로결정'은 0.392로 기각되었다. 향후 경호전공 대학생들의 진로결정을 향상시키기 위해서는 선택 동기와 전공만족도를 동시에 높여주기 위해 대학과 관련 교수들의 노력이 더욱 필요해 보인다.

한국 MIS요원의 주요 경력지향유형과 유형별 직무요소들의 가치 부여 차이에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Major Career Orientations of Korean MIS Personnel and the Differences in the Values of Job Factors between Career Orientations)

  • Matching individual career desire and career path is desirable for individual motivation and organizational effectiveness. Some studies reported that major career orientations of MIS personnel are technical and managerial orientation. Furthermore, dual ladder system is based on the same notion above. However, subsequent research conclusions of this issues have been contradictory. Mnwhile, past studies on the work value of MIS personnel are mainly concentrated on the differences between MIS personnel and other occupations. To date, the study on the differences in the values of job factors between major career orientations is rare. The purpose of this study is to find out major career orientation of Korean MIS personnel and the differences of values of job factors between major orientations. The research result is two conclusions. First, major career orientations of Korean MIS personnel are technical and managerial orientation. Second, both group do not have different values about job property related factors, but managerial orientation group gives high values to the some organization related factors such as company policy, responsibility, authority, salary level and opportunity of promotion.

학업정서, 학습태도, 학습몰입, 전공만족도와 의학전문대학원생의 학업성취와의 관계 (The Relationships among Learning Emotions, Learning Attitudes, Major Satisfaction, Learning Flow, and Academic Achievement of Medical School Students)

  • Effects of learning variables on academic achievement were major goal of this study. The differences of learning emotions, attitudes, flow and major satisfaction by grades of college students in medical school were proposed to conduct. Participants of this study consisted of 194 students of 1st and 2nd grade plus 121 students of 3rd and 4th grade in medical school. They completed the survey questionnaires composed of learning emotions, attitudes, flow and major satisfaction. Collected data were analyzed by t-test and stepwise multiple regression. Two kinds of results achieved as follows: First, there were differences of negative and positive emotions, and learning attitudes but were found no differences of learning flow and major satisfaction by grades. Second, there were significant effects of learning emotions and attitudes on academic achievement and also found differences of variables that affect academic achievement by grades. Based on these results, we think necessitate of considering learning emotions and behaviors in developing training programs and students support systems for medical school are obliged.

의과대학생의 성격유형과 전공 및 대학생활 만족도 (Personality types of medical students and their satisfaction with major and student life)

  • Objective: The goal of this study was to investigate personality preferences of medical students and to examine the relationship between personality profiles and their satisfaction with major and student life. Methods : The MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), which measures personality preferences, was administered by medical students (n = 94) who began to qualify from the Yonsei University College of Medicine in 2007. The resulting personality profiles of the medical students were correlated with scores of the satisfaction with major and student life Results: First, there were more preference types of Introversion(61.71%), Sensing(67.66%), Thinking(73.41%) and Judging(61.71%) than Extraversion (38.29%), Intuition (22.34%), Feeling (26.59%) and Perception(38.29%), Most medical students are personality type ISTJ(24.21%), followed by ESTJ(17.02%), Second, students with the preference for Extraversion and Intuition were more satisfied with their major and student life. Third, the preference for Judging showed higher scores in the satisfaction with major. Conclusions: This study might give implications for the psychological wellbeing and successful studying of medical students.

Study on Relationship between Self-Directed Learning and Career Preparation behavior of College Students: Major Satisfaction, Positive psychological capital, Job-Seeking Stress mediation effect

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the mediating effects of major satisfaction, positive psychological capital, and job-Seeking Stress in the relationship between college students' self-directed learning and career preparation behavior. For this purpose, the study was conducted on 253 college students. The parallel mediation effect was analyzed using SPSS (24.0). Process Macro and Bootstrapping. The following results were confirmed. First, self-directed learning, major satisfaction, positive psychological capital, job-Seeking stress, and career preparation behavior were found to have a mutually significant influence relationship. Second, in the relationship between self-directed learning and career preparation behavior, major satisfaction, positive psychological capital, and job-seeking stress were confirmed to be variables that affect the parallel mediation effect and serial multiple mediation effect.Third, college students' self-directed learning was found to increase career preparation behavior through the mediating roles of major satisfaction, positive psychological capital, and employment stress. Therefore, in order to increase the career outcomes and success rates of college students, their own efforts, professors, and schools must create diverse environments and develop programs for college students' careers. Additionally, follow-up research must continue to supplement this.

미용분야 여성 교육자의 이미지 선호도 및 유형이 전공만족도와 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Image Preference and Types of Beauty Trainers on Their Satisfaction with a Major and Stress from a Major)

  • This study evaluated the effect of image type of the beauty trainer on satisfaction and stress regarding the major. The data were analyzed by spss 18.0. Frequency analysis, causal analysis, reliability analysis, T-test, one-way variance analysis, and multiple regression analysis were carried out, and the result is as following. First, as the result of analysis the image of beauty trainer, we defined inner, outer, and social image. Second, the difference between images of beauty trainers revealed that people with high interest in the major ranked the inner image of beauty trainer the highest. Respondent with the lowest and the higher class satisfaction also deemed inner image important. The same was for respondents with beauty awareness. For outer image, people with the lowest class satisfaction ranked outer image the highest. And people with beauty awareness recognized beauty trainer's outer image more important. Respondents who said the major have bleak future deemed outer image even important. While the social image was recognized the highest by respondents with lowest class satisfaction. Third, as we analyzed the correlation between the image type of beauty trainer and major stress/satisfaction, the higher the satisfaction for the trainer's outer and social image gave higher class satisfaction. And less stress about the major resulted in higher major satisfaction. Fourth, we evaluated the effect of trainer's image on the class satisfaction and stress. Fifth, the lower the awareness of inner image and the higher awareness of social image resulted in higher major stress. Lower inner image gave high major satisfaction, while high social image resulted in high major stress.

방사선 정보원과 전공 선택 만족도의 상관관계 분석 : 한·미 방사선학과 대학생들 중심으로 (Analysis of Correlation Between Radiation Information Sources and Major Selection Satisfaction : Focused on Radiologic Science Students in Korea and the United States)

  • 본 연구에서는 한국과 미국 방사선학과 대학생들을 대상으로 방사선 정보원과 전공 선택 만족도의 상관관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 대상자는 한국의 충북 소재의 일개 4년제 대학교와 미국의 텍사스 주 소재의 일개 4년제 대학교의 방사선학과 1, 2 학년을 대상으로 하였다. 설문조사는 2019년 5월 7일부터 5월 28일까지 방사선 정보원과 정보원 신뢰도 그리고 방사선학과 선택 만족도에 대해 자기기입방식으로 조사하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 양국 대학생 모두 인터넷을 가장 많이 사용하는 정보원이지만 교과서를 통한 정보 수집 비중은 미국 대학생들이 유의하게 높았다. 둘째, 한국 대학생들은 미국 대학생들보다 정보원에 대한 신뢰도가 정부의 인쇄물을 제외한 인터넷, 신문, 소셜 네트워크 순으로 유의하게 높았다. 셋째, 미국의 대학생들은 한국 대학생들보다 방사선학과 선택 만족도가 유의하게 높았다. 넷째, 한국 대학생들은 다양한 정보원을 통해 전공 선택에 도움을 받고 있었으며 특히, 소셜 네트워크간의 상관계수가 유의하게 높은 상관관계를 나타냈다.
