  • Recently, owing to performance elevation of telecommunication technology, increase of wireless internet's subscriber and diffusion of wireless device, Interest about LBS (Location Based Service) which take advantage of user's location information and can receive information in concerning with user's location is increasing rapidly. So, MOMS (Moving Object Management System) that manage user's location information is required compulsorily to provide location base service. LBS of childhood such as service to find a friend need only current location, but to provide high-quality service in connection with Data Mining, CRM, We must be able to manage location information of past. In this paper, we design distributed manage system to insert and search Moving Object in a large amount. It has been consisted of CLIM (Current Location Information Manager), PLIM (Past-Location Information Manager) and BLIM (Distributed Location Information Manager). CLIM and PLIM prove performance of searching data by using spatiotemporal-index. DLIM distribute an enormous amount of location data to various database. Thus it keeps load-balance, regulates overload and manage a huge number of location information efficiently.

  • 디지털방송이 시작되고, 방송 매체가 다양해지면서 시청자가 볼 수 있는 방송 채널과 프로그램의 수가 증가하고 있다 이 많은 방송 채널중에서 시청자가 자신이 원하는 프로그램을 찾기 위해서는 기존의 프로그램 가이드만으로는 한계가 있다. TV-Anytime Forum(TVAF)에서는 메타데이터를 기반으로 시청자가 원하는 발송 콘텐츠를 원하는 시간에 소비할 수 있는 맞춤형 방송 서비스를 제공하는 방법에 대해서 규격화하였다. 방송 콘텐츠 중에서 특히 데이터방송 콘텐츠는 일반 AV 콘텐츠와는 다른 구조를 갖고 있으며, 따라서 데이터방송을 위한 새로운 메타데이터의 구조나 전승서버와 단말에서의 동작 메커니즘이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 TV-Anytime(TVA) 메타데이터를 이용하여 맞춤형 데이터방송 서비스를 제공하기 위한 방법에 대해서 설명할 것이다.

IT 기술을 활용한 독거노인 고독사 관리 서비스에 관한 연구 - 독거노인의 라이프로그를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Services for Managing Solitary Death of the Elderly Living Alone Using IT Technology - Focused on the Lifelog of the Elderly Living Alone -)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest customized service for managing solitary death using lifelog of the elderly living alone. The use of the lifelog technology is due to the advantage of suggesting a personalized service by analyzing the current situation by searching the past experiences of the elderly living alone. The method of study is reviewing literature and previous studies and collecting and analyzing the lifelog information of elderly living alone. The results of the study are as follows. First, it examined the problem of solitary death of the elderly living alone and tried to grasp the problem of the service using the IT technology supported by the government. Second, the lifelog information of the elderly living alone A was collected for two weeks. And the daily patterns of elderly living alone were analyzed through lifelog interpretation. Third, we proposed and discussed the residents' personalized service for managing solitary death based on the lifelog of the elderly living alone. It is an advantage of this paper that it is possible to support customized services by analyzing the general behavior of the elderly living alone and the exceptional behavior in the housing. However, the limitation of this study is that it does not reflect more subjects with various characteristics.

복수 경로 탐색을 위한 휴리스틱 알고리즘에 대한 연구 (Heuristic Algorithm for Searching Multiple Paths)

  • Telematics is expected to be one of the fastest growing businesses in information technology area. It may create a new emerging market in industry related to automotive, telecommunications, and information services. Especially vehicle navigation service is considered as a killer application among telematics service applications. The current vehicle navigation service typically recommends a single path that is based on the traveling time or distance from the origin to the destination. The system provides two options for users to choose either via highway or via any road. Since the traffics and road conditions of big cities are very complicated and dynamic, the demand of multi-path guidance system is increasing in telematics market. The multi-path guidance system should allow drivers to choose a path based on their individual preferences such as traveling time, distance, or route familiarity. Using the Lawler's algorithm, it is possible to find multiple paths; however, due to the lengthy computational time, it is not suitable for the real-time services. This study suggests a computationally feasible and efficient heuristic multiple paths finding algorithm that is reliable for the real-time vehicle navigation services.

  • 모바일 폰의 단문전송서비스(SMS)는 80byte 내의 텍스트를 송, 수신할 수 있는 서비스이며 현재 음성통화 대체수단으로 많이 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 단문전송서비스를 단순히 음성통화 대체수단으로 사용하는 것이 아닌 정보검색 수단으로 활용할 수 있는 방법을 조사하고 위치기반서비스(LBS)의 위치정보 검색 서비스에 얼마나 효용성을 가질 수 있는지 연구해본다. 이를 바탕으로 단문전송서비스를 활용한 정보검색시스템을 구성하여 기존 위치 정보 시스템의 무선 인터넷에 따른 이용요금 문제를 해결, LBS 시장의 새로운 형태의 콘텐츠 서비스로서의 가능성을 제안한다.

  • 인터넷 서비스의 급속한 발전으로 전자 상거래의 이용규모가 해마다 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 소프트웨어 개발비용을 줄이고 자료구축을 용이하게 함으로서 전자상거래의 활성화를 유도하는 방안이 요구된다. 인터넷 기반의 분산기술을 적용한 웹 서비스는 소프트웨어의 공유를 통해 개발비용을 줄이는 기반을 제공한다. 공유된 소프트웨어는 동일 자료에 접근하게 함으로서 서로 다른 사이트에서 공동의 자료를 참조할 수 있게 한다. 본 고에서는 전자상거래를 위한 데이터베이스 처리 모듈을 웹 서비스로 설계 및 구현함으로서 전자상거래 사이트 개발을 용이하게 하고 데이터베이스를 공유할 수 있도록 하였다. 구현된 웹 서비스는 개발자간에 자료의 선택 수정 추가 삭제 및 검색 기능을 지원하며, 서로 다른 사이트간에 상품정보의 공동 활용이 가능함을 보였다.

인터넷 기반 복합재 보수 (The Internet-based Composite Repair)

  • As composite materials are gaining wide acceptance in aircraft structure, repair of damaged composite is becoming an important issue. The issues in composite repair include high cost, material interchangeability, water ingression, and structural integrity. To address these problems, researchers have studied on the composite repair in various aspects. In this paper, an Internet-based advisory service (called Repair Advisory Service, RAS) for composite repair is proposed to increase efficiency for repair process. In the RAS system the web browser is used as its user interface, which provides easy access to the service. The RAS server provides web-based tools for failure prediction, Structural Repair Manual (SRM), automated prepreg cutting process, material properties, inventory and knowledge base. The computer codes implemented for repair design estimate the tensile failure and shear failure of repaired structures. The prediction of failure is based on the maximum strain criterion for tensile failure while elastic-perfect plastic shear failure model is applied for interfacial failure. The OEM's SRM is provided in the PDF format for viewing and searching by web browsers instead of looking up paper version SRM. The knowledge base in this site offers a room to share and distribute ideas, memos, publications, or suggestions from the repair engineers. The fabrication tool of RAS reads repair geometry from engineers then generates a CNC toolpath to cut prepreg patches. The RAS service is open to public and available at http://nano.gsnu.ac.kr/. Broad feedback from field technicians and engineers is welcome to improve the usefulness of RAS.

Sports Leadership Theories for Improving Retail Service Quality on Customer Value

  • Purpose: The sports leadership theories are crucial in ensuring the success of corporations. This study shall discuss the various leadership theories employed in the sports industry and how they can be incorporated within the retailing sector to enhance the service quality and promote substantial customer value towards all the consumers visiting the retailing stores. Research design, data and methodology: The present researcher gathered textual data on potential solutions for coding of development through web searching method and coded and produced various topics as solution providers. Methods were then established to enhance quality on customer value by the leadership within their businesses, and the researcher subsequently presented the findings. Results: This study provides a total of nine solutions which are helpful systemically for practitioners in the retailer service sector. These numerous solutions can be incorporated within the retail industry through the sports leadership theories employed in the sports industry to help achieve a full and strong customer value. Conclusions: Finally, the present study concludes that the retail industry and management need to ensure that a substantial customer value is built through high-quality services rendered towards the clientele base, employing sports leadership theories such as path-goal, authentic leadership, transformation, situational and leader-member exchange theories.

Analysis of Trends in Willingness to Pay Research in Healthcare Service of Korea

  • Purpose: This study was to review the previous studies on the 'Willingness to Pay (WTP)' for healthcare services and suggest future implications for nursing research. Methods: Using the scoping review method, we used RISS, KISS, KMbase, Koreamed, PubMed, EMbase, CINAHL as searching engines. According to the selection and exclusion criteria, 40 appropriate studies were selected and analyzed. Results: 24 studies were categorized into medical service field among medical, public health, and nursing service fields. A total of 16 studies were related to healthcare system (policies), 13 studies were to the healthcare intervention, and 11 studies were categorized into the health management. Most of the methods for eliciting WTP (70%) were about a contingent valuation method (CVM), and the use of double bounded dichotomous choice (DBDC) tended to increase. In the nursing field, five WTP studies were identified: two studies published in the early years of 2000, which were conducted on hospital-based home health visit services. Recent studies were mostly about counseling and education by advanced practice nurses (APNs). Conclusion: WTP studies on healthcare services were largely published from the medical fields and health policy areas with the CVM method. In the field of nursing, studies have been conducted on the subject of limited service areas. More active exploration of research topics is required, particularly under the current policy setting, where discussion of the public health insurance fee for nursing practice is essential.

  • The cosmetic medical information mobile platform is evolving into a new channel for searching and obtaining relevant information before using cosmetic medical service. In addition, the medical institutions can facilitate the medical contracts, and take advantage of systemic customer management through the cosmetic medical information mobile platform. Therefore, the paradigm of the cosmetic medical mobile service industry is facing a flow of change through the use diffusion of cosmetic medical information mobile platform. In this study, in order to explore the factors affecting the use diffusion of the cosmetic medical information mobile platform, this study used the research model of the influence of the characteristics of the cosmetic medical information mobile platform on perceived convenience and usefulness, and use diffusion by applying TAM(Technology Acceptance Model). As a result, immediateness, interactivity, and customization in the characteristics of cosmetic medical information mobile platform had positive effects on the perceived convenience. Also, interactivity, customization, and economics had positive impacts on perceived usefulness. In addition, perceived convenience and usefulness had positive effects on the use diffusion. Through this study, the factors influencing the use diffusion of cosmetic medical information mobile platform were actually explored, and the service value of the cosmetic medical information mobile platform were categorized. Future research is expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of quality and expansion of the cosmetic medical service market based on various research.
